My name is Vasu, I am from Hyderabad, India.

I purchased the laptop on 25 November 2019. Within a month, screen flickering and blurring issues occurred on 19 Dec 2019. After consulting HP customer service several times, a new screen has been set up on 14 Mar 2020. HP has rejected my request for unit replacement by sighting '14 days replacement policy'.

21 Jul - Blue screen, BIOS and booting issues occurred. Called customer service and have reset the laptop for 2 times, issue not resolved.

22 Jul - Called customer care, done some hardware checks, had reset the unit with HP restore utility (from pen drive), issue not fixed. I have shared several screenshots with customer care. (Case ids: [protected], [protected])

I kept follow up with customer care

27 July – Abhishek Benarjee - Customer Relations Case Manager arranged a hardware engineer.

28 July – Engineer has thoroughly checked the issue and performed some advanced troubleshooting. He has come to a conclusion that the SSD and the Hard disk drive have been corrupted and to be replaced immediately. He informed me that his team is going to report the same thing to Abhishek

29 July – Requested Abhishek for replacement o[censored]nit as the both SSD and Hard disks are failed, but my request was denied by him. He said he can only replace the parts, not the unit. I asked them what if I deny replacement of parts, but there was no clear cut answer from them.

Still, I have been requesting them for replacement o[censored]nit, but all my requests have been rejected.

There was no proper communication from anybody since last 1 month. I have been experiencing mental torture from then and I am still waiting for them to replace my laptop. I also had told them if HP is not in a position to replace the unit, I have no other option than approaching the consumer forum, but I am yet to contact them.

Both my personal and official work have been badly affected due to these issues.

I believe, the 14 days replacement policy cannot be implied to all the cases of laptop issues. In my case both SSD and Hard Disk drives are crashed, which means the entire laptop has gone crashed.

I tried putting the things precisely. Please help me with replacement o[censored]nit. I am available to discuss on my mobile no. [protected]. Thank you.

HP India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
HP does not care about the mental stress I have been facing from about a month now.
I had tweeted to one of the HP higher officials about this. But same people have called me today to say the same words 'We cannot give you what you wanted'. I also requested him to extend my warranty for an year but they did not agree for that, they said they will think of extending it for 2 months.

Can anyone tell me how to go ahead with filling a complaint against HP for this issue? Thank you.

    I ordered a hp laptop model no. 15s du2058tu online on 31/7/20. {Order no. [protected]}. Ipaid an amount of Rs 35, 639/- through debit card payment after checking & confirming my location delivery using pincode status. I was assured the delivery with in 9 working days. When I was following the status regularly, it was showed dispatched and shipped with no further updation. So On 5th Aug 2020, I personally called in hp helpline number[protected] and HP representative informed me that the order got automatically cancelled on 3/8/20. I was guaranteed the refunding of my amount with in 3 to 5 working days. But the amount was not remitted. Hence I again contacted on helpline no[protected], I was told by the HP representative that they will inform the VENDOR and the amount will be remitted with in 48 hours if the VENDOR initiate the remittance with in 24 hours. I have tried to contact HP people many times through WhatsApp messages(no reply received) and multiple emails in in.[protected]@hp.com, in.[protected]@hp.com, [protected]@hp.com, [protected]@hp.com, kalven.[protected]@hp.com etcetc. I am only receiving AUTO GENERATED reply/Emails all the time asking me to wait for 48hrs {thrice}. My second LAST call was on Saturday by around 4.05pm, and the hp representative told me they have already initiated refund procedures on Aug 15th 2020, and in 5 to 7 days money will be Remitted, (ie 5 to 7 days from 15th Aug) And They Gave me an Email I'd kalven.[protected]@hp.com and told Only He Can Help me in this matter. So I sent email to dis mail I'd. But it is showing that receiver is unable to accept emails. And I contacted today also in helpline no [protected].Niw they again asking me to wait for another 7 to 10days. Like realyyyyy. Its Been 22 Days already. Till now my money is not remitted and those people r asking me to wait for another 10 days. So I request you people to help me in this matter. Please kindly do something.

    Got Your mail. Thank u for your support. As per Your mail HP company representative must have been contacted me by now. But there is no respond from them. How many more days should I wait???????? Its been 25 days. Till now they have not remitted my Refund

      I have given my HP Pavilion laptop (bought last month) to the HP service center in Noida setor 2, more than a week ago. It gets shutdown while playing a game. They advised that the mother board has to be replaced. Its been more than a week now and still, I haven't received it. No updates from the service center.

        I am Ginu.G, an online teacher. I am writing you to express my dissatisfaction with a laptop bought from Logtech, Nandavanam, Thiruvananthapuram.
        ( HP LAPTOP 15-DA0327TU, SL NO.CND8333FQ1, Invoice No: B22046, date: 21-Dec-2018 )
        I have been facing a lot of inconvenience I called the customer care of the hp laptop and report the problem ( a little bit about the black spot on the bottom of the screen ), when they told me to show it at their service center at Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram. it is about 15 km away from my home. please you understand the product is in warranty. So it was given there on 4th July. They showed it accordingly one week after inform me that they send the photo of the compliant area to the company and it could not be fixed. If you look at the compliant area you will understand that it is not something that happened out of our hand and look like some other technical problem. So please resolve it as soon as possible.
        Also, since the system was taken, It has been very slow. This time the service center in Thiruvananthapuram reinstalled its software when it was given, but the situation is still the same as before. No change. Clear it too and get over it as soon as possible.
        I made the decision to buy the hp lap, because of previous good recommendations some friends of mine give me about your product. However after this experience, I feel deceived. So I looking forward to prompt response.

          I recently purchased a new hp laptop from tata cliq. It was of 8 gb ram so i wanted to upgrade it to 16gb. I tried contacting hp care & they told i need to purchase it from hp stores only. I enquired about it & found that hp is charging 3-4 times higher rates as compared to the one available on other sources like amazon. So i again contacted hp care and they told that they won't install the ram which is not purchased from hp store.
          After that i talked with hp care branch manager, he told he will do but around inr 500+ gst would be charged and there is no responsibility of them if anything wrong happened to the laptop post ram installation.
          In such case, customer mandatorily have to buy from hp stores. This is basically to make money only.

            It is sure that i have recieved a damage product or an used product from an hp.
            Other than this i have registered a case to hp for service but still they did not provide a service soon.

                It is surprise that number of telephone numbers indicated in laptop for service support, but no response received on mention telephone number, if number is working properly, please change the number.

                Sir, I am have already registered for extended warranty of my new purchase laptop on 11.08.2020 and I applied for extended warranty on 14.08.2020, my redemption code :KLAW464803KL. As per your email for payment purpose order received within the 72 hours, but no response received to till time after several email to your support services. Kindly look into the matters and give me opportunity to extend my warranty period on payment basis. If you are fail to reply I am bound to going in Consumer Court. My mobile number [protected].

I had complained about this when the system is in warranty period, but hp denied any support citing that their pixel policy do not cover the screen under warranty. I wonder what kind of support is this? This policy can neither be easily found on their website and neither do the dealer mention about it.                   8 or more dots in any combination and any color that are always on or off
                  Any 2 dots within 25mm of each other that are always on
                  i have 10+ dots in my laptop screen but still they are denying!!!

                  I have purchased my hp pavilion laptop with 3 years onsite warranty and now I am facing a display issue in my laptop (10+ white spots on screen). I complaint about this issue to hp customer care department and one of the executives from hp called me and argued that the defect is because of accident and not because of manufacturing. So, warranty is not applicable to repair it. I am wondering without seeing my laptop, how HP can judge that the issue is because of accident ??? I am taking care my laptop like myself (cannot find a small scratch in laptop and it looks like in showroom condition) and I am damn sure that issue is manufacturing defect. After a minute of argument, the executive asked me to go to service centre which is located 80kms away from my home and get it certified that the issue is true and then only HP will take care. My laptop is under onsite warranty. Why hp cannot arrange service engineer to check it even though my laptop under onsite warranty ??? As we know that we are under covid 19 pandemic situation and no public transport available in Tamilnadu, I cannot go to service centre. I am requesting HP to arrange the service engineer and do all verification as per your protocol and repair my laptop as early as possible. Being reputed brand please don’t cheat customers by the name of warranty. You are really testing the consumer patience and delaying the maximum. Please take necessary action…

                      I ordered a hp 15s laptop from flipkart on 9/08/2020. unfortunately the laptop i received is defective. (touchpad left and right buttons not working). i contacted their customer service and opened a ticket.

                      i had to spent almost 2hrs doing what i was asked for and nothing helped. later the customer executive i was chatting with escalated the issue to another officer and he (who goes by the name FULCHAND) refused to respond. i have no idea what am supposed to do know. i dont want to take my new laptop (which was defective on arrival) to service centre and repair it, i either want a replacement or refund.

                          I purchased this laptop in march end, and now this laptop is showing is showing extreme slow charging .Earlier it used to charge in about 1.5 hours, but now in 6 hours it charges by 10 percent.The laptop is under warranty still 7 months remaining.This issue is not contionuous, but its frequent.resolve this issue bcos i am a student and i am not liking working on my new laptop while plugged in. i purchased this laptop online.

                              I had bought hp desktop a/o 20-c435in pav from smart planet it solutions private limited.

                              They had supplied a defective desktop and refused to replace instead visited and changed couple of parts in the system.

                              But, the system never worked seamlessly the camera never worked.

                              They have even billed more than the mrp and refused to address the issue.

                              Hp you will be sued now along with your fraud dealer.

                              I need compensation with change of the system and penalty for charging more than the mrp

                                  I have purchased a laptop and 20 aug 2018 and i have also purchased extended warranty (Care pack) from hp website. Now my laptop has intermittent boot issue and i have raised a ticket for the same with ticket no [protected] and was surprised to know that my warranty in their system show expired so i was given a email address where i have send all the document. Even after 10 days i called and the warranty is not updated. Now they have closed the ticket without resolving the issue. One of the engineers disconnected my call. Need help asap.

                                        I have purchased an HP Laptop on 14.06.2020 but, since then I trying to contact you but, no response from your side.

                                        I've four complaints for you as under:
                                        1. Dispute in Warrantee Period, laptop shows upto Dec 2020, whereas I've purchased this laptop in Jun 2020
                                        2. I'm unable to activate Microsoft Office Home & Student on my laptop
                                        3. Call Center Executives are irritating, continuously says 15 times that "Sir are you able to hear me" whenever I call them.
                                        4. Support Links provided are of no use.

                                        I'm sorry to say but your services are pathetic and super slow, since June third week I have been trying to contact you thru your links and touch points but no respond?

                                        Hope some one will resolve above issues asap.

                                        1. Dispute in Warranty Period, laptop shows upto Dec 2020, whereas I've purchased this laptop in Jun 2020
                                        2. I'm unable to activate Microsoft Office Home & Student on my laptop
                                        3. Call Center Executives are irritating, continuously says 15 times that "Sir are you able to hear me" whenever I call them.
                                        4. Support Links provided are of no use.

                                        I'm sorry to say but your services are pathetic and super slow, since June third week I have been trying to contact you thru your links and touch points but no respond?

                                        Hope someone will resolve above issues asap
