I recently purchase HTC 826 (white birch colour) from 'ontack stores' basaveshwaranagar on 30/06/2015. After 2 days of purchase Bluetooth and WiFi direct of the mobile is not working . I visited the HTC service center in jayanagar they gave me the DOA for the replacement of the phone. I then visited the store where I purchased the phone . I gave them the DOA for the replacement. It's nearly 15 days and yet they are not providing the replacement. Once they said htc head office doesn't have the stock. And they are selling the phone to new others costumers. They told me to pay 1200 extra on 23400 so they can give me Samsung A7 for 24600. And now again they are telling me to pay 3100 (ie) 26500 for Samsung A7. When I said il pay only 1200 as he told earlier now they are treatening me that they won't give me the replacement. please see to this. And help me to get HTC 826 or Samsung A7 for 1200 extra or refund. Please kindly do the need full.

Dear Abdul,

first of all let me give you clarification on some points.

If phone has a problem, then manufacturer will take care of the warranty part since it carries one year warranty and we (ontrack mobiles) can only help you to get better service from the service centre.

And coming to the next point of pricing, as everybody aware mobile prices, back end schemes, offers keep changing every day. Price which quoated 15 days back may not hold good after 15 days since during this period many models would have launched and may be same model price would have got dropped, or scheme would have been stopped. So you can never blame about the price. At the time of purchase you have to make right decision of choosing model and price(may be for your satisfaction you can enquire many places and then you can come to one conclusion).

And coming to the point of exchange, any company issues DOA letter to make their respective customer satisfied and allow them to take new piece of the same brand and obviously same brand. Other wise why will any company bare losses of one phone and issue DOA letter. It is retailer decision whether to give exchange the product with any other brand or not. So you can not raise any objection if they dont issue replacement brand, but you can raise objection if they totally do not accept to give you replacement model of same brand and model.

So kindly do not pass on negative vibrations/informations to public just for your selfishness or seeing only from your satisfaction angle. Whenever you post any information public be aware of do's and dont's and then post.

And last but not least, it is ALSO A CUSTOMER AND RETAILER BEHAVIOUR AND CONVERSATION PATTERN WHICH MAKE THEM TAKE PROPER DECISION. Customer and retailer both need to know their responsibilities, limits and try to be reasonable. Mutually understanding. Then issue will solve automatically. By being Blunt/rude/Adament nothing is going to solve.

Where there is a way there is a will.

    Just before yesterday i got a call from HTC Customer Care (Phone Number : [protected]) They have told me to send the Scan Copy of Mobile purchased Bill/Invoice,
    I have sent to their Email Id (info.[protected]@india.com) and they have told, we will check with your Mobile Warrenty and you can get 75% of cash back which i have given for mobile
    today(14/08/2015) they are telling just transfer 10, 000 rs amount to their account, and we will give that 75% cash back amount
    that Acc No is : [protected] Acc Holder : Rajkumar
    and they got my Accout details Acc No, Name, Branch and IFSC of my personnel accounts so please help me what i want to do...
    Hey, thats a fraud they are doing with you. pls don't encourage any more conversation with them. and importantly lodge a cyber crime complaint to the poice against this incident.

      I am Pankaj colour I bought a HTC Desire mobile phone in may 2015. I see a lot of problems with it after a month the dislay is not working properly I phone with care the service centre at Moradabad give me back after 2 months at the same day my camera is not working again I submit to the centre but it could not repair till today customer care executive did not give me proper information about my handset please give it back or repair it as fast as possible
      its the poorest service customers care I ever seen in comparison of other mobile centers

        I have submitted my mobile on 19th may 2015 in bhubaneswar HTC service center ( CHANNEL - 4BBS, B2, JANPAT TOWER, GROUND FLOOR, ASHOKNAGAR, BHUBANESWAR - 751009. CON NO - [protected]) for screen repairing purpose. But it already 2 months over till my mobile not serviced. So many time i have called service center as well as HTC customer care from last 40 days, every time they are saying it will take another 2 to 3 days but till their 2 or 3 days not completed. Their price quotation cleared before 35 days but till they are not servicing my mobile phone. Due this mobile i am facing so many problem related my job. Please do some needful steps so i can get my mobile as early as possible. Regards, Devajyoti Halder

          I have purchased a new HTC mobile on 2 March 2015 in 19990/- thousands (HTC Desire 816) and on 6 June 2015 it causes some hardware issue (outgoing voice problem/speaker Lower is not working). So I have submitted the mobile to registered service centre at Noida on 12 June 2015 because it was in warranty, and after that 42 days have been passed and the service centre is neither repairing my mobile nor returning it to me. I am calling to customer care number from last 20 days twice or thrice in a day and they are not giving any satisfactory answer to me and even they are miss-behaving also. They put my call on hold and say let then check the status and after 10-15 minutes they came back and say they are raising some complain to higher department. And on 20 July 2015 they returned my mobile to service centre without repairing it, and when I call him for status they are saying please resubmit it, even I don’t received my mobile. Some peoples from customer care team are also talking in arrogant language, and when I am asking to refund my money or replace my device they are advising me to please put the call on hold and read the warranty statement first. Still on Today 23 July 2015 I have called him to know any update for my mobile they are saying to wait for 10 working days more, and denying to refund my money and replacement of my device. I am very frustrated from there service and there way of talking to customers.

            Dear sir, I have ordered HTC desire 816, duel sim recently from EBAY ONLINE.I waited for its delivery but it is delayed and i left my hostel(Gulbarga) for 1 and half month for an academic course in Shillong..in my absence, (after 4 days, i left the station It is received by my friend.I came back two days back and its been my second day that iam using my new HTC. Now im totally depressed and sad because the smooth conversation has become highly impossible. I here the voice of the person who calls me but my voice is not reaching to to those who call me.whats wrong with me. I have paid 15000 rs with much difficulty. And aim not able to use my new phone even to make a call. whats the use of this new cell. Why its doing like this in only a second day. and music, song sound is also very irrittaing..no use of the cell only on second day. its too bad. I need another set. kindly help me. i struggled a lot to buy this new phone, provide me another hand set plz plz plz as soon as possible. how should i provide photo proof for this problem?

                I own a Htc desire 826. I'm experiencing a problem suddenly. whenever I go to take photos the camera stopped and back to the screen. Then comes a command saying, "Sorry! Camera has stopped unexpectedly. Would you like to send an error report to HTC? This will help us improve our products."
                Is there any solution for that?? Help me please.

                  I purchase HTC 820q dual SIM in the month of Dec 2014, which in under warranty. i visited TVS Electronic Ltd, Pune for service as phone SIM not detecting, service station kept my phone for repair / replacing of mother board and given time frame of 10 days but till date no response from the service center and even there is no proper information getting from them. This is real poor service given by HTC to customer, Can you help out me to know the exact status of my phone . My mobile no is [protected].

                    Sir, yesterday I gave my mobile to the service center, again with the same network issue, this time vibration also not working and heating issue.This is the second time, I'm facing this problem. I asked for replacement in the service center, they said, they have to get the permission from the customer service. But customer service is not giving replacement. I'm not at all satisfied with this htc care. Last time itself when I went to get back the Mobile from the service center they broken my back panel of my mobile and they are not responding properly.                       Dear Sir, This is to inform you that My Self Pratyush Singh has purchase A mobile HTC 816G (New Edition 16 GB) which was not working fine & I submitted the same on 11 may 2015 at your service centre & which I receive after several calls on 15 June 2015 but when I check it again the ringer of the mobile was not working which when I complain to the service centre manager Mr. Abhay I get the response that I shoudl keep the set with me & they will resolve the issues within 72 Hrs but unfortunately today is 21 July which is almost 1.5 month pass but no response or result is generated till time. I may request you to kindly do the delivery within 24 hrs or return my money otherwise I will be bound to file RTI for this and Complain to consumer forum for the same. Am awaiting for the needful revert from the prestigious company.

                        I had a new phone for 2 weeks and the battery burst, I had it checked by techs and the saw the acid leaking out and smoke came out when you plugged it in. I sent the phone to the repair department and after more than a month they sent my back a couple pieces back in a bag and said there is nothing wrong with it. The escalation team will not help they said they sent it back to me in perfect condition, but we have pictures of what I received when I opened the box. So now I am out a phone and now see this as a really shady corrupt company, Carlos honehone has lied to me from customer service, and Faith from escalation said she verified the phone was in one piece which was a lie.

                          Dear Sir, I bought 820Q desire in feb 2015. IMEI is [protected]. In may phone started getting stuck and got switched off automatically. I gave it to a collection point, VCARE telecom services and they sent it to the service center, where that I don't know. later received my phone with proper working condition. I asked them what was the problem, the collection team said we don't know what was the problem in phone. I contacted their online chatting service and found that phone had battery issue and now they have replaced the battery. Now again after 2 month I have the same problem and my phone is in service center from last 2 weeks. I want to speak to the person from htc whome I can speak and tell him about this problem which is coming again and again. I am not getting proper service from them and it looks that they have sold me faulty handset. There is no help from them on, in which service center my phone is, whenever we try to register a complaint to HTC they tell me that u will receive a call from our team. I have not received any call from them yet. Also when I called their toll free number, there is no help from them. I still don't know my phone is in which service center. This is for the second time my phone is for repair since I bought, what if I receive the same problem after the warranty period gets over. Also, the collection point where i had submitted my handset, gave me one contact number where i can check the repair status of my phone but that number never gets connected, its busy for 24 x 7. Strict action need to be taken against these people. HTC is the worst service provider. I will never recommend HTC to anyone. The most worst HTC service and I am the most dissatisfied customer. I want my money back or replace the handset with new one. Milind [protected]/[protected]

                            My charger was not working properly as it was under warranty so i submitted the charger to service center but they didn't provide me any update regarding that.And when i call them they tell to call after 48 hours for the update and nothing else.

                              I am too much annoyed with my handset desire 820 purchased on 1st march 2015, i got repared it from the service centre just 20 days back, they took my handset for near about 10 to 12 and returned it to me saying that its mother board and charging jack has been replaced . Just after 2 days, the same problems started like heatup and battery charging . After the repair many more new problems like hang up, automatic switch off and on, automatic working off the phone and much more . Now i will tell you my clear part, i wont be visiting any service center or any place because your customer representatives at inderlok outlet delhi (near my place) are helpless, they answer to things so badly and does not provide any solution, they just have a solution that leave your handset for 15 days and it will get repaired thats all, which does not happens . I ll be waiting for a good solution from your side, i have shown good patience till now and i hope you ll revert me with a good outcome or else unwillingly i ll have to take a action .                                 I'm having HTC ONE X+ andd it alsmost 14 month old (i[censored] check details you would came to know that due to tie broke with Nvidia we didn't get any updates in this phone and we faced lots of trouble with this phone.

                                I'm really huge fan of htc products but this particular model is company failure sound screen camera is perfect but it RAM and battery is worst in class and Resale value is so low i'm not getting what to do with this phone of 30k.

                                other new flagship phone of htc cost very high ...feeling sad and no customer support service they never intend to help just money matters for HTC

                                  HTC - i bought HTC explorere long back, well about the phone .. nothing works, , wifi, FM radio.. when calls made it breaks in between the call is not continues. it just goes blank could hear a 2-3 seconds again goes blank ... Only thing which work is sending of receiving SMS/messages . works as a pager !!! jost lost and lost my money to HTC !!! so wast of time, money such a wrong choice of taking HTC cell !!!

                                    The charging port of my HTC Desire 620G mobile phone got damaged. It is a brand new phone. I had entrusted the phone for repair with M/s.TVS Electronics Ltd. at Ernakulam on July 4, 2015-QBS[protected]. Your customer care service and that of TVS Electronics Ltd. are as good as they do not exist. It is impossible to contact them in any manner. Though you talk about tracking repair in your website, this is also a facility that apparently does not exist. Today, I personally approached your service outlet at Ravipuram, Kochi 62016. There was a person sitting there wearing a TVS Electronics uniform. He was extremely arrogant and did not even look up from his work to see who was talking to him. No useful info was given. Obviously you must be receiving countless complaints like this with a service set up like what you have. Still, I am hoping against hope that some action may be taken to provide some relief in this case. These arrogant persons sitting in these service outlets may be dishonest too. What is the guarantee that your customers have against their swapping genuine parts from our phones in the gray market and making some extra money? Do you feel that your mobile users should wait for such long periods as 3/4 weeks to get a minor replacement done.

                                    HTC has not taken any useful action on the complaint. I am yet to receive my phone after repairs. There is also no commitment from HTC as to when I would be able to receive the phone after repairs.

                                      Order date of mobile hand set was 11-jun-2014 received on 15-07-15 through Amaz- on sales Due to defect in touching function and battery compartment door function replaced it within one month without any change in delivery date or warranty period .From march 2015 on wards problem in charging - difficult to get charged with htc charger itself .From April 2015 charge is getting dropped off while calling. In May 2015 given to service centre -Cochin Ravipuram road during the warranty period itself, returned it on 28-06 15 saying there is no complaint without changing battery or charger. But after that it was not able to use because battery is budging while charging. So the mobile is at rest . It could use only for 8 months Kindly refund it or replace it.                                         Htc company is very bad service provided of custumer why i submited earphone in v-care telicom services in mumbai vt of 22/06/2015 but after than i call to htc service center minimum 100 call but not response any customer care service provider and call disconected i wii go to 3times service center but say they are call to htc customer care but customer care is not responsbility for any customer
