I bought 820Q desire in feb 2015. IMEI is [protected]. In may phone started getting stuck and got switched off automatically. I gave it to a collection point, VCARE telecom services and they sent it to the service center, where that I don't know. later received my phone with proper working condition. I asked them what was the problem, the collection team said we don't know what was the problem in phone. I contacted their online chatting service and found that phone had battery issue and now they have replaced the battery.
Now again after 2 month I have the same problem and my phone is in service center from last 2 weeks. I want to speak to the person from htc whome I can speak and tell him about this problem which is coming again and again. I am not getting proper service from them and it looks that they have sold me faulty handset. There is no help from them on, in which service center my phone is, whenever we try to register a complaint to HTC they tell me that u will receive a call from our team. I have not received any call from them yet. Also when I called their toll free number, there is no help from them. I still don't know my phone is in which service center. This is for the second time my phone is for repair since I bought, what if I receive the same problem after the warranty period gets over. Also, the collection point where i had submitted my handset, gave me one contact number where i can check the repair status of my phone but that number never gets connected, its busy for 24 x 7. Strict action need to be taken against these people. HTC is the worst service provider. I will never recommend HTC to anyone. The most worst HTC service and I am the most dissatisfied customer. I want my money back or replace the handset with new one.

first of all let me give you clarification on some points.
If phone has a problem, then manufacturer will take care of the warranty part since it carries one year warranty and we (ontrack mobiles) can only help you to get better service from the service centre.
And coming to the next point of pricing, as everybody aware mobile prices, back end schemes, offers keep changing every day. Price which quoated 15 days back may not hold good after 15 days since during this period many models would have launched and may be same model price would have got dropped, or scheme would have been stopped. So you can never blame about the price. At the time of purchase you have to make right decision of choosing model and price(may be for your satisfaction you can enquire many places and then you can come to one conclusion).
And coming to the point of exchange, any company issues DOA letter to make their respective customer satisfied and allow them to take new piece of the same brand and obviously same brand. Other wise why will any company bare losses of one phone and issue DOA letter. It is retailer decision whether to give exchange the product with any other brand or not. So you can not raise any objection if they dont issue replacement brand, but you can raise objection if they totally do not accept to give you replacement model of same brand and model.
So kindly do not pass on negative vibrations/informations to public just for your selfishness or seeing only from your satisfaction angle. Whenever you post any information public be aware of do's and dont's and then post.
And last but not least, it is ALSO A CUSTOMER AND RETAILER BEHAVIOUR AND CONVERSATION PATTERN WHICH MAKE THEM TAKE PROPER DECISION. Customer and retailer both need to know their responsibilities, limits and try to be reasonable. Mutually understanding. Then issue will solve automatically. By being Blunt/rude/Adament nothing is going to solve.
Where there is a way there is a will.
