My model is HTC desire x and i bought it on 22 April 2013. After 6 months i had touch screen problems and i got the whole touch screen unit replaced in warranty and it was working fine for another 3 months. Again the problems started and they were minor problems as double touch or it will be unresponsive for lighter touches. But now the touch screen is not at all responding most of the time. Now my warranty period got over and when i ask in service center, they say that it will cost me around 5000 rupees to change it. I bought my phone for 15000. IS this the lifetime of your touch screens? I want it replaced by the company without charging me even a single rupee. Its just one and half years and my phone's touch is dead. I see other companies touch screens work fine for years. I bought HTC phone in a belief that HTC is a good company and their phones are unique ones. But now my phone stands in a unique way of touch screen failure while compared to other phones. I need a reply from you guys. Or else i'm going to the consumer court of india

    I bought an htc desire 616 two months before. but within this period my phone got a compaint in main camera and audio jack.So i gave it at htc service center at Cochin, Kerala for its repair. They said that its board must be changed and it should arrive from chennai. till now i didnt get my phone back. whenever i call them, they tell me that parts are still pending and not arrived yet.please make a solution for me...

      Never purchase HTC mobiles. If it got in repair even within warranty, you will be without mobile for 1 month. Then you imagine as well if out of 1 year warranty means even 2_3 days more, then you can purchase a new mobile as service/repair cost can even go to 50% of your mobile cost. Service and response is also totally pathetic. You have to first get connected and wait for at least 15-30 minutes )before getting somebody on tollfree numbers which means approximately your 45-60 minutes will be getting waisted every time when you ring. And also at least you have to call many times for getting updates about your status. There is no call or response from their part .

        The screen of my HTC desire 816 having IMEI No [protected] hand set was broken. When showed it to HTC service centre at Hyderabad, they said it is not covered under warranty so I have to pay Rs 5000/- towards its screen replacement. Under duress I have to agree for replacement on payment basis. I gave my hand set for repair on 29.09.2014 under No 14 INA[protected]. Almost one month has passed, but my mobile hand set has not been repaired though I have personally contacted the service center many times and contacted on toll free No 3 times. Every time they say, they have not received the spare part from the company. This is really very poor post sale service.I have wasted lot of time and money by making calls, and I don't have handset for last one month. If company does not have spare, why they don't stop selling new set till they have spare for post sale service so that customer like do not suffer at high hand of HTC. Will a responsible person of company look into it and get my handset repaired immediately.

          I had bought a HTC Desire 816 a month back. The product is faulty and has various issues such as blur image, defective camera, Sim 1 network issues, Data connection failure, 3G connectivity issues etc, etc etc. I am unable to use the product as there are frequent breakdown in the operating system.             Dear Sir, I am a resident of kollam, kerala. I had purchased an HTC Desire 616 smart phone on july 21, 2014. It is yet in warranty period. Since last month it started troubleshooting with headphone jack. I had submitted my cell on September 26 at the service center and was assured of repairs to be done within 14 days with htc ticket no:14INA[protected] . Despite calling many times to customer care centers, I was given same excuses that they are waiting for the parts and it will take time, now its almost 1 month and yet i had not received my mobile serviced, my email id is c.[protected]@gmail.com .I would be greatful with your intervention and resolution.

              i have htc desire 700 newly bought around 2-3 months old there was sum sound n sim slot problem so i submitted it to the service centre in delhi at kamla nagar they told me the issue will be solved in 10 day n itz been around a month i have not recived my phone yet n d issue is said to be still in process i have been complanin about it to the customer care every day but dey ask fr more time..n still the phone is nt repaired nor do they provide me with ne spare phone..as i am a student here in delhi nd it has bcum very difficult for me to handle this situation because no work can be carried out without ur phone.. they are still not answerable abt the dates when dey will be able to give my phone back.. this poor n service of htc has brought me to dis conclusion of filing a complain agnst dem.. i hope my issue gets resolved soon

                I bought a htc desire 816 g on 14th oct 2014 and next day my wife asked me that why your number is not connecting is it off i looked at the phone and it was on and network is also full but no one cant connect to me due to some network problem in the device as i turned it off and on again it worked properly hardly for 5 hours and after that i tried to call someone but it i cant connect to him as screen showing dialling but turned to end call automatically for 10 tries and then again i turned it off and on and again it was working properly, I approched the dealer for the problem and he requested me to change the old sim with new one but the problem is still not solved. Then we approached the service center and they switched the phone off and on and returned the handset citing th t the handset is working perfectly fine. Are we mad to spend 18k for a faulty device. If yes then it is better to go for a second hand samsung or apple for better support. Behaviour and unacceptable emotions at the service desk are ridiculous. Kindly give me a wriiten apology letter from your end stating that HTC is a bull company and wont replace the faulty handset nd will also not refund the money. Do not forget to mention that you are beggars with with collar and ties. I have had enough with what you guyz have done for us. If you think that phone is correct than use the handset for 48hours and then cite what the issue is.

                  Hi, I am Jay. I am an Htc device loyal customer used different Htc deice, recently I purchase a brand new Htc desire 816 (dual sim) purchased for Rs29990/- used for one month, later the display was broken however I accept it was a physical damage done by me. I had given for the service center for the replacement of cracked screen on 29/09/2014 (Ticket Number: 14INA[protected] they charged me Rs 562/-(handling and shipping) in advance even though I have one year of warranty still and later received a quotation for Rs 5739/- (for replacing the screen) was told I will receive the repaired device within 13days by now it’s been more than 20 days I have not received the product. I have been calling the customer support even there is no proper information given to me that when they will give the product repaired. In spite calling the customer care ‎[protected]‎ that would take around 15 to 20 min to connect with the customer support agent. Now I am frustrated by the Htc service. Now I would like to know what is the action taken towards you side and what is the compensation give to me and I want know whether I can charge the penalty towards the delay for my device. More over Htc has provided a free replacement of cracked screen within 6 months of purchase for US customers. Why not this offer is provided to Indian Customers.

                  Hi, In spite after my complain towards the service with HTC mobiles. I have not yet received any positive feed back and by now its 45 day. I really don't no what is happening with my device. However 45 day is more for the repair of my device. I am really fed up of waiting for my device for so long time.

                    I had purchased HTC Desire U on 23/6/12 from Metropolitan Mall, MG Road Gurgaon. It was a birthday gift for my mom, who stays in Chandigarh. At the time of purchase I also opted for an extended warranty on the phone which is valid till 22/6/15. After just One month of purchase, we started encountering problem in the screen of the phone. There was lots of flickering on the unlocking the phone. Thereafter we took the phone to authorize HTC service centre (TVS Electronics Ltd, Sector 47) in Chandigarh. The phone was repaired and restored to normal functioning at the service centre. After 10 months, the phone again started showing the same problem with the screen. I again went to the service centre. The support staff was highly non-cooperative and unempathetic, I had to wait for four hours to get a small information that the extended warranty is to be availed from the agency only which is The Mobile Store Shop. The problem does not end here; there wasn’t any mobile care shop in Chandigarh, so I bought the phone to Delhi, to get it repaired and avail the extended warranty option. However when I went to mobile care shop in Delhi I came to know that the IMEI number mentioned on the repair report of service centre (TVS Chandigarh) and on the sticker on the back side of the phone, are different (which is a gross negligence or a deliberate action of TVS company..!!).This is no less than a fraudulent act of changing the identity of the handset without appropriate reconciliation with the services documents provided at the time of delivery of the repaired handset. A layman can’t verify these numbers without guidance from the services centre staff. Neither the staff told me to check these, nor any poster / any signage/ any slip mentions to check these numbers and also how to check these numbers. From there I brought my phone back to Chandigarh and went back to TVS service centre in Chandigarh. The staff posted is highly non-cooperative, ignorant, impolite and unconcerned. From the staff behaviour it was visible that they seemed to be aware of the malpractices and wrong doings being happening in the TVS centre. After dillydallying for four days and repeated visits by me and my family members to their office, they gave us a letter mentioning the serial number (same as that on the original packing box of the phone) of the phone is replaced by serial number as on the back of cover. They even assured me that the serial number is equivalent to IMEI number, believing on the excuse given I once again brought the phone to Mobile Store shop in Delhi. To my surprise, I came to know that there are 3 different IMEI Numbers, one which was mentioned on the papers provided after repair, the other pasted on the back of phone (sticker) and the third which was flashed on the screen after dialling *#06# Furthermore, there has been a physical damage caused by the TVS centre on my phone, because of which The Mobile Store is reluctant to provide the expected extended warranty services. I have been harassed to the utmost level. I am disgusted with poor quality of HTC phone and irresponsible attitude of your company staff. Such a response is not expected from the world renowned and reputed company like HTC. As one can understand that using a phone with an unknown IMEI number could also land the user into an untoward situation such as IMEI number now given to my handset could have been earlier used on a handset used by a criminal. Please resolve my grievance by ensuring the services are provided for restoring the normal functions of my handset and allotting a proper IMEI number duly certified by your service providers failing which I would be bound to take legal action against your company. Expecting a favorable and prompt action from your side.

                      MY HTC 816 has got scratches on my primary camera glass ...because of normal glass used in it ...its issue of all user ...not alone mine .Its actually company fault ...all user are facing problem ...thats why company launched htc 816g with gorilla glass 3 ...plz don't buy htc 816

                        I BOUGHT A MOBILE HANDSET HTC DESIRE 310 FROM JASMIN AT VADODARA IN THE MONTH OF JUNE, 2014. ONLY AFTER THREE MONTHS OF PURCHASE, SCREEN OF THE HANDSET STARTED TROUBLING. WHOLE DISPLAY SCREEN BECAME WHITE. I WENT TO SERVICE CENTER NAMELY TVS ELECTRONICS LTD. 101 SAKET COMPLEX, AKOTA VADODARA ON 08/10/2014. THEY TOOK MY PHONE AND TOLD ME TO COLLECT IT ON 18/10/2014. I CONTACTED THE CENTER ON 18/10/2014 AND THEY REPLIED IT WILL TAKE 10 MORE DAYS AS PARTS OF THE HANDSET ARE NOT AVAILABLE. ITS HARD TO DIGEST THAT COMPANY HAS NOT PARTS OF ITS OWN HANDSETS AND WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY DOING FOR LAST 10 DAYS. ITS REALLY FEELING VERY BAD AND DISGUSTED AFTER GETTING SUCH RESPONSES FROM SUCH A REPUTED COMPANY. I WANT MY PROBLEM RESOLVED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I HOPE I WILL NOT SUFFER ANY PROBLEM AFTER THIS COMPLAINT AND COMPANY WILL MAKE SURE THAT SERVICE CENTER WILL DO THEIR JOBS BETTER AND QUICKER.

                          Sir, this is to inform you that I bought HTC 816 Desire cell phone on June 4, 2014. It’s only four months from the date of purchase the cell phone is not working properly, (IMEI NO[protected] it has been repaired once and now again. For about 4 times I have given mobile in service, but still the problem of incoming calls and outgoing calls is the same .The company says, I have to give the phone for repair. I have requested for the refund as I am not satisfied with their product and it causes me lot of inconvenience to go to service center every month and give them phone for repair. Once I have lost all my data and now again when I give them the phone, the data will be all gone. I request your intervention and help me in getting my refund from HTC as I don’t want their product.

                            Dear Sir, I Bought HTC Desire 616 last month only now there is problem in Head phone & Ear phone Female Jack part, when I submitted(11-Oct-2014) phone to Service center they are ask for 1 Week time to repair when I called them after that for my phone now they are asking for more 10 days as part will deliver from Taiwan (china) to Chennai then in Mumbai. I am not able to digest the excuses that in pan India they don’t have parts of phone? Does company expense money just for promotion of Phone. You are not even bothering about consumer problem. I don’t have another handset. If you kept phone of Consumer for 15 Days to 20 Days, then how we will manage. Now I am compel to buy a new phone again for this short of duration as my work is hampering. They are not even ready to provide a handset for this duration

                              I am using HTC Desire 601, i was getting the hanging and heating issue with my device. I have submitted it to HTC service Centre Gurgaon, Haryana (Universal Telecom & Traders) on 6th of September 2014, Job Id is 14INA[protected]. On 2nd of October i got the quotation from HTC that your device is physically damaged and screen is broken. I have rejected the quote and called service centre, They asked me to send the receipt. I have send this on 3rd October2014. Till that date... i am continuously making follow up with HTC and every time i got the same answer that we have not received approval from our team to get it repair in warranty. I am really fade up with HTC service. It has been 41 days since i have submit my device to HTC. Can anybody help me to get my device repaired. I have saved all the chat history which i have done with HTC representative.

                                Sir, this is to inform you that I bought HTC 616 Desier cellphone on July 17, 2014. It’s only three months from the date of purchase the cellphone is not working properly, it has been repaired once and now again, the company says, I have to give the phone for repair.                                   My 2-month-old HTC desire got dead all of a sudden. Gave it to the local HTC service center on 09/26/2014. Till date they are telling no material is present. I am unsure if they are delivering low quality products and without a material why is HTC giving warranty or running a service center. Through the forum I am unsure when I will receive my handset as there are some who have given their handset for nearly 2 months. Really, in common the government should look into this matter such that quality product is being sold, not only in mobile, other electronics goods too or we consumer should avoid these type of products together giving them a big business lag.

Details received from Service Centre :- Ticket No.- 14INA[protected] EMI No.- [protected] Serial No.- WT46LY304986 Job sheet No.-281 Service Provider Name:- V care Mobitron ( Vile Parle West ) The mail is in regards to the complaint that its been more than 20 days and I haven't still received my phone from the service centre. When contacted to the service centre they mentioned that the phone has not been received from HTC. Despite contacting many a times there was no response.                                       I have submitted my mobile set(HTC DESIRE 500) on 25-SEPT-2014 at HTC AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTER KAMLA NAGAR.They give me expected date to receive set of 27-SEPT-2014 but they are not supposed to deliver till now or in some upcoming days.I have talked to customer care but they didn't give me the satisfactory answer regarding this. so please tell me what should i do to overcome this problems.

                                        Hi Support Team, Worst decision in my life to buy HTC Desire 816 before 4 months, Already more than 5 friends was not recommended me. This fone looking stylish and smart so buy this phone and it was a worst decision in my life. Before buy i trust HTC brand value and service centre. Why anyone buy branded product ???? bcz branded product atleast proving best warranty/service and best quality. I am staying in Noida and here more than 1000 ITs companies and more than 5000 other companies and Only one HTC share and worst service centre where anyone can repair any phone like other repair centre with very high repair charge. I have called more than 5 times to HTC CCE and more than 3 times email to HTC support team and HTC CCE force me to go to service centre to repair the phone and i was found worst share service centre and he charging me Rs. 4, 500 and 10-12 days for repair screen damage while my phone only drop from 2 fits. When i was called HTC CCE, HTC's executive committed to me "my service centre & Research team able to identify exact hight from dropped the phone." After visited HTC service centre i am very frustrate of our decision to buy HTC fone. I think HTC are not able to help me. In USA, Customer is King and in india, Customer is Ullllu like indian politicians use voter and forget after election.
