The car i purchased on july 18, 2017 has faulty headlights. The headlights turn fogy/misty and became water in all whether conditions. The fogy appearance of headlights on a brand-new car make the car unappealing and undesirable. The showroom people helped me to replace the headlights, however the problem just came back. The re-occurrence of the problem make me believe that the headlight components used are substandard products. And i strongly believe that over a period of time, the dysfunctional headlights will make the car potentially unsafe to riders. This situation has really hurt my brand feeling towards hyundai, and i am positive that many customers would feel the same way.

Unfortunately, i got an unacceptable response from your customer support (Sro-3 cochin) that this is a common phenomenon for hyundai cars. If this is a common phenomenon, this should be there for all the cars. But i’m not seeing any cars with this issue in my locality. If this is a common phenomenon of hyundai, this was never communicated while purchasing the vehicle. Hence i felt that hyundai had cheated me.

    Greetings!!!

    First of all many thanks for your email and at least some replied that was little ​relaxation for me

    Dear officer, they day i booked my car they took 10, 000 cash as an booking amount, after few days while taking delivery when i transferred the full amount via bank demand draft and 92000 by my own cheque.

    Now when i ask refund from the people who were dealing with me they said 15000 accessory part is mandatory while buying cretta as this is in high demand and if you want to cancel it we will happily give this car to someone else as we already have the booking amounts.

    Now just put your feet in my shoes when my wife and kids are waiting in waiting area to get the car delivered, at that time i was just trapped, they were arrogant and they added they can do a favor for me which was instead of paying 15000 for the accessories (Which was actually the cost of around 2000 and selling @13000) i ca give 13000... And they took another 3000 and adjusted my 10000 amount in accessories

    Still i waited for the billing section and insurance to be taken from them so that car shall be booked and confirmed on my name, getting car from them was like winning a war or making a strategy to win a war coz manager was quite arrogant and he stopped delivery boy to hand over the keys to me when my 4 years old daugher was waiting outside.

    Now after billing i call customer care and told him the story and he actually helped and he talked to everyone there and even to him they did not show any respect or towards to me.

    Then customer care executive took my complaint, emailed me complaint number and noted all the issue, please check records its mentioned already

    Still i am sending u one slip where they have mentioned on their printed slip that accessory which are still to install and i never took that and if i donnot took that will they gonna keep my cash /money

      Dear sir,

      I have purchased used car in october 2015 from hyundai agency chhindwara.

      I paid full amount of the deal along with the payment to process the rc documents to transfer under my father name.

      Mr. Rajesh singh from hyundai with contact no [protected], promised me and my father to deliver the rc within 3 months.

      After that we took the car and went to our home.

      After 3 months he said rto office in balaghat is closed. After continues follow up he gives same excuse we went to agency again but no one was ready to talk.

      Now its 3 year since we brought the car and we still hasn't received the rc. I believe this needs to be fixed and hope for someone who is responsible will come up with the solution.

        To whom it may concern it is my humble request that i had bought a hyundai creta car on 10/10/17 last month and from the very first day i am hearing a noise coming from front left side suspension and i have made it in the knowledge of agency people who had delivered me the car on very next day but he told me not to worry and drive car it will go away as it is new that’s why and we will see it on first service check up and today it is 23/11/17 they are saying me that it will be repaired if i will pay for it, i am very disappointed from the car i have bought and i am going to take a strict action against this agency grover hyundai (Ludhiana) plz help me out if company can thanx waiting for response gaurav mittal.

          Hi,

          I wanted to buy a new xcent sx from hisar, in impression that i ll good service and after sale service.
          I have started getting calls to buy the car, then i brought the same and i have got no after sales solutions.
          They committed me that invoicing will be done at two days after purchase, it took 14 days to get the invoicing completed, then i have asked for my rc and number plate update, i have submitted the documents as and when required still i have not got any update on the number plate received in the showroom or not.
          I have to call and ask for every update, their sales staff has stopped picking my calls and reverting.
          I have got the car number by 17/10/2017, its been more than a month i have been asking for update on number plate. { receipt no. : hr20d[protected]} { rc : hr20ak0775}.

          I am really unhappy with the service support.
          I will not recommend hyundai to any of my known now.
          I am ready to take this matter to social media also if i dnt get any update.

            Vehicle passing date - 15//11/2017

            Fist servicing - 1300 km vehicle rassing problems talk serviing supervisor but he call running after ok
            But only 2500 km vehicle stop in road no running vehcle.
            Servicing center problems cluse plate repairing cost -20000rs to 23000 rs cost

            He vehicle on grantee period
            & no use for bussing only one day use.

              This is in regard to my car no. Dl8cae 6124 that met with an accident and was given at hemkund bodyshop wazirpur on 8th of october 2017. Despite my request to deliver the car at the earliest i was on paper given the date of 20th november saying this is the maximum time that may be required but will be handed over much earlier.

              1. As requested by the bodyshop gm i gave a written approval to start the repair work pending insurance approval so that the car is repaired timely and we save on time. (My approval said of insurance company rejects the claim i will pay the entire amount of the repair but the repair should be started asap)

              2. Post that i as a concerned customer i called the representative to check the status of the car and with the same request that please try and deliver my car at your earliest. Every time, i was assured that the car will be delivered maximum by 10 november but they will try for earlier delivery.

              3. There after i called post 15 days that is near to 24-25 october to check for the status and i was again again assured the same thing. “sir, your car will be delivered asap. 10 november is the maximum time that we are asking for”

              4. Through your this entire period i never got a call from hyundai or the representative to inform me about the status of the car.

              5. As usual i called them in the first week of november thinking now i will get my car but this gentleman asked me to come and see the car myself. “ sir aap aake dheko welding ka kaaam chal raha hai” and we will take 10 more days to complete the work.

              6. Ever since than i called to check the status i was always said the same thing - come and see the car and the date has been given to you.

              7. On 19 november, finally the date that was committed on papers i reached the workshop and met the gm mr. Shambhu. He understood my problem and requested me to give him 1-2 days more time for some or the other pending work.

              8. For the polite request i agreed for that and agreed for 1-2 more days. On 20th november i was said all the work is done just that they need to send documents to the insurance company and then car will be delivered on 20th or max 21 november.

              9. Today, on 22 november i called the gm in the morning and was assured that the car will be delivered by evening today. Thereafter i called around 1 and again around 4pm before leaving from office so that i am assured that my car is ready once i reach to the bodyshop.

              10. I cancelled my meeting and left for the body shop around 4 pm today to collect the car. Around 5pm i got a call from the gm that the again their is some problem with the insurance and also some issues with paint of the car so that will take some time. Also, since he was not in the bodyshop today. He said mr tyagi will give the car.

              11. I reached the bodyshop at 5.45 pm and spoke to mr tyagi and i was informed that the car is still not ready to be delivered. Just fyi i had and still have high fever.

              Now, i am shooting this email to see if this portal could be of any help.

              Dealers know that customer won’t take the pain to complaint and they take undue advantage. Hyundai being the worst.

                I have a hyundai verna 2009. There is a problem with the cars ignition coils. They keep malfunctioning and changing them is quite expensive. I have read articles online and this seems to be a design flaw with the verna. I had posted the complaint on hyundai's facebook page, however all u get is automated emails from hyundai. I have already changed 5 coils in the last one year and still the problem presist.

But problem remains as it is. So its my generour request to u to please take some action in liu of that. Your faithfilly.

                    Hi, i am kaushik and i am having the same problem with clutch i. E. Smoke and plastic burning smell and stuck gear with my hyundai creta sx plus diesel which was bought in april 2017. First incident being stuck gear on multiple times on november 2nd 2017 at 7000km and the clutch plates were completely worn out. The service person claimed that it is due to bad driving habits. After much arguments he finally accepted and replaced them for free. The 2nd incident was on 20th november 2017 at 1400km there was thick white smoke and plastic burning smell from the air vents near the engine block. The vehicle was towed and was later informed that the clutch plates were slightly worn out and that the smoke and smell were common during clutch friction. As far as i am concerned it is a potential fire hazard risking the lives of the passengers. The service people still claimed that it was due to bad driving which is impossible and even adviced me to use the clutch less often in hyderabad traffic. When we asked him how many vehicles came with similar complaints he said that it was a stray case and an isolated incident. When i browsed through the internet i came across this forum. What i still don't understand is when so many people are having the same complaints why haven't anybody filed a lawsuit against hyundai company regarding the creta vehicle.

                      Sir i purchased a grand i 10 car from pothens hundai kollam on 27 th march 2017. (Name:jessy kl 29 m 5442) due to an accident on sept. It was sent to pothens hundai kollam service centre with an insurance claim and they delivered it back on 14/09/2017. But yesterday i noticed the under covering of the bumber was not replaced but it was tied with an iron wire. The insurance was claimed for the replacement of the broken parts. This irresponsible act is a shame for hundai company which is no 1 in its services. Thats why i took the car from hundai. So please take necessary actions. My contact no [protected]
                      Service of kollam pothen was very bad. Mr. Abhilash a bledy ### who destroy the goodwill of the company. He don't know how to deal with the customer. I request you to avoid such a dirty guy from your centre. He don't know how to speak with customer. Please ignore such managers from your company or otherwise you loose your Goodwill. Mr. Abhilash he shouted against me5 and talk like a uncultured follow.

                        I bought creata car in mid-2016 i am 70 year old thought should take some relax by drive this car, unfortunately i met with severe accident on 9th nov 2016 at mumbai – pune highway.
                        Same day navi mumbai taloja service centre towed my car and took in there service centre. After initial check they promised me to deliver my car in 3-4 weeks’ time span.
                        But actually it was delivered to me on 15th feb. That too after multiple times follow-up. It costed me 40k from my pocket (Except insurance).

                        Within a day on 16feb i found that my car is having jerks while driving. I called up service centre guys and took back my vehicle to service centre for check-up on 17 feb.
                        They did some check-up and service and returned my car on 20th feb saying it’s ok now.

                        Again after few days my car again started jerking i gave my car back in service centre on 17th march they claimed that diesel used in my car is contaminated, they changed diesel and oil in my car which costed my again 8k (I don’t know why they changed oil when diesel is having problem, any ways they are experts)
                        Now they said problem is rectified and delivered my car on 21 march again.

                        Here goes again same problem now i am totally screwed up and exhausted in age of 70 (God sake i am old now ). I gave my car back to service centre. Now here new story by those super experts they said its gearbox issue as they don’t keep spear gear box they have to order new from korea which will take 3-4 weeks.
                        Experts kept my car for 2 months changed many parts but not changed gear box and delivered to me with their # smiles saying sir your car is ok now.

                        As per taloja service centre manager says they have fired their floor manager due to this.

                        When i escalated issue to their india head, he doesn’t even bother about the problem and dint replied at all (Seems too busy)

                        1. Does hyundai hire there technicians without any technical knowledge.
                        2. It took more than 6 months for them to figure out problem in their own build car. Without any success.
                        3. Their service centre agents know very well how to fool you.

                        I lost  :
                        1. I hired a vehicle for 5 months during this costed me 50k pm
                        2. Lost insurance for 6 months as vehicle was off road.
                        3. Depreciation loss of 6 months as vehicle was off road
                        4. Mentally harassed by hyundai guys
                        5. Damages for financial loss, mental sufferings for period of 6 months.

                        No second thought car is good but services and agents/managers are worst  

                          I purchased a grad i10 from mgf hyundai kochi branch on sept.2015. But they cheated me from the signed agreement offers and also collected from me an excess amount of above 20000 rupies ; more than the actual car value. So l request to take immediate enquiry and action from the reputed company to get me one year extended warranty & also to refund the excess amount collected from me.
                          I am also facing the same issue, bought creta diesel in Feb 2017 and first gear Jaam happened in Nov 2017 which is now fixed saying that the part was faulty,

                          But this is not acceptable from a 17 Lakhs car. Does anybody know the real issue ??

                          Though Safdarjung Hyundai has resolved the issue ..but now sure till when it will be last.

                            1. Pick up goes down automatically after 10-15 days once clutch adjustment done.

                            I. E. You need to close the ac if you suddenly down the speed from 60-70kmph and gear from 5 to 2 then vehicle is unable to give proper torque.

                            2. Unable to clean the plastic parts: i have seen lot of vehicle in service center has same issue along with mr deepak, amir and already acknowledged by deepak, amir.

                            Service team cleaned the same parts with some die solution in front of deepak, amir but same plastic parts gone in same condition after 3-4 day after cleaning.

                            Your service center has already replaced (As solution suggested by mr. Amir) but no improvement even after replace plastic parts.

                            3. Floor matts given by your dealer are not good quality seems to be gray market product need to be replaced free of cost.

                            Same floor matts are getting fold automatically.

                            4. Plastics parts are not scratch resistant.

                              After starting the car (Grand i10 sportz 2016 model) i observed suddenly something flowing down the bonnet. I saw the petrol was gushing out of the pipe & immediately stopped the car and asked my family to get out for the safety. It was really embarrassing moment in front of the family. Will hyundai is going to take some action after so many complaints...???

                              I had a nightmare experience with Hyundai Car – Grand i10 Sportz (Petrol) 2016 model. It so happened on my daughter’s third birthday (19th Nov’2017), we all as a family thought of having a nice dinner outside to celebrate the special day. Never in my dream I thought that all our planned activities will be shattered and will experience a life threatening incident for the whole family, which include both my daughters, parents and brother. My elder daughter is 3 years old and younger daughter is 10 months old.

                              We all started the journey at 1710 hrs & drive through the Hosur Road (NH7), when a passer-by signalled that our car was leaking. We were embarrassed, but we took the car on the side of the road and stopped the car on the highway with emergency lights. We were able to observe some liquid dripping out in front of the car, we thought it was an engine oil, but to our shock it was fuel (petrol) dripping down. So we immediately stopped the engine, asked all the family members to get down in the middle of nowhere. I immediately called Hyundai RSA toll free number and registered a complaint. They gave a complaint reference no. X[protected] and also mentioned that their towing truck will reach the spot within 60 mins. I had moved my family members far from the car, to avoid an accidents due to fuel leakage. I would like thank the Good God that nothing happened to my family and the car. I do not know, if a passer-by with cigarette or small spark from battery was enough to kindle a fire. After an hour the towing truck came & took the car to Himavasini Hyundai service centre. And later I understood from service centre that a Rat had bitten the fuel hose.

                              In all this situation whom to blame if something would have happened to my family! the rat who bite the fuel hose, India’s 2nd biggest car manufacturer who comprise with safety of their customers by using rubber fuel hose instead of metallic pipe to reduce manufacturing cost or me who thought of spending quality time with the family. If you say you should keep your surrounding clean & avoid rats… than sorry this is India and I am in Hosur, where rats are too common… and, they are fond of warm engine area in cars. Is it not the responsibility of car manufacturer to design the cars as per environment and surroundings?

                              · Then, why is that Safety of customers is not given the priority?

                              · I was able to experience one of the Safety issues, I do not know how many such issues are there in Hyundai car (especially the airbag, etc.)…?

                              · I am not the 1st person to experience the issue, when I browse through net, I was able to see minimum 20 persons have complained in customercomplaints.in (Indian consumer complaints forum) starting from Jan 27, 2016…and they also mentioned the Hyundai Motors does not respond… Not only that I have enquired minimum 4 persons in Hosur area who have the experienced same issue. And why is Hyundai Motor still not acting on the issue?…So that some more innocent customer also experience it and should end in a fatal accidents…?

                              · Even if I replace the fuel hose with the new one what is the guaranty that, once again the I will not face the same issue..?

                              · Why can’t the company replace all the rubber fuel hoses with metallic pipes…?

                              If the issue is not sorted out, I would be taking a legal action against the company…!

                              I will not compromise on safety of my family

                                I have done a complain on 21/10/2017 regarding the issue to hyundai and i have received the sms & mail regarding that they have registered my complian. Surprisingly today is 20/11/2017 almost 1 month but there is no response from hyundia till date. After sending 2 to 3 reminder regarding my complian than also there is no response from hyundai till date, this is really disgusting and this is not we expect from a company like hyundai. Really feeling very sad.
                                I m from sitapur district i have serviced my i10 at sitapur hardoi road agency .. I purchased i10 body cover from agency of rs.750 he has given me local cover.. he hasn't given me the bill .. when I used it was short and local.when I ask him for refund he was arguing me .they are doing local business on the name of company with local accessories.

I submit my car for accidental repairing at 10/10/2017 in sachin hondai, bareilly. And they promis the delivery date at 10/11/2017, but still now they not gave it to me. But still now they not provide my car. I already complain in customer care and mail in there office but still i not get any feedback from them. Last 40 day's i am face so many problem. Please help me to get back my car

                                    This is a mail from a highly dissatisfied customer of hyndai india, considering the treatment by one of your sales showroom at srinagar j&k namely kc hyundai at hyderpora srinagar.

                                    Sir...
                                    It was way back in feb 2017 this year[protected] to be precise) when i bought one used i10 car from the above mentioned showroom when i was looking for a brand new, being lured to it.
                                    Anyhow, i paid a good handsome amount at once and was asked by the sales executive to pay additional for transfer of the vehicles which i again did at that moment. The showroom people assured me to get the vehicle transferred to my name in short period of time and took the original papers including the registration certificate of vehicle.
                                    But since then almost 9 month have passed but i am yet to receive any document inspite of repeated visits and calls to the showroom.
                                    The height of the things can be judged from the fact that every time i reach to them i am assured that the problem will be sorted in few days, in fact i asked them to have the money taken for transfer with them let me get the papers as... I can't even throw away or sell this vehicle without the papers.
                                    Disgusting from hyndai

                                    Don't know is anybody listening...

                                    I thought to go to the consumer court... But of my busy schedule... And transfer to other part of parent state... Could not pursue the same...

                                    Even could have complained to police but thought not to mess up the things..

                                    Even i booked a complaint with your customer care... But it turned to be querry to the dealer which he ignored...

                                    Kindly for the sake of... Simple humanity as they have taken ride of my sincerity look into the matter...

                                      On 15th november i received a call from hemkund hyundai b-99, wazirpur industrial area that you ave taken some services from our service station how was your experience and after giving them a true feedback they told me that we are going to provide you free dry clean and washing of your car on which i got agree. And they done it great no problem and send my car at my home around 7 pm.
                                      Buy yesterday at night when i start my car i found something wrong and left it over there as it is. Then today morning i again tried to start it and start driving i got to now its staring was to hard to move and i noticed it that car is showing eps light.
                                      I called a local mechanic and he told me that there is chances of water seepage on a part so he told me its better to show it to company because its fault of company. After making a call to company they are denying that they have not used water inside but there are clear marks of water on the inner body of car.
                                      In this way in a favor of free service or we can say because of there negligence i have to suffer a expense of around rs.12000 if they don't admit there fault which they have done before also.

                                        complaint about problems in new hyundai creta

                                        I m a hyundai customer and this is my 4th hyundai car.
                                        This is my second complaint on the above mentioned subject. I purchased new hyundai creta on 21.9.2017 (Registration no.
