I opened a savings bank account recently with ICICI Bank (ISIC Branch). I did not request for an Expressions Debit Card but the bank executive that processed the application for me, Himani (Mobile No. [protected]), applied for one on my behalf without asking me if I was interested. Nor did she inform me that she was applying for an Expressions debit card on my behalf. I have asked for cancellation also but that request has not been processed. Now I have been charged INR 588.82 for this card today, and there is no option available to get it cancelled anywhere!
Additionally, I have been facing issue using the debit card for paying online on Myntra app/website. The bank keeps declining the payment although I have more than sufficient bank balance. I have spoken to many customer care executives in the span of an hour already because they keep redirecting me to different agents and none of them have helped me resolve this issue. I must say I am disappointed with ICICI Bank, and I didn't expect such poor assistance from them right at the beginning of opening an account with them.
