I have been charged a hefty preclosure charge even though I am eligible for a waiver. I have paid 20 EMIs and I made the pre-payment of the loan from funds in my savings account. ICICI website on a page pertaining to Service Charges and Fee for Personal loan, says: "The waiver, if any, of the prepayment charges will be applicable provided: The customer has paid 12 or more EMIs and The pre-payment of the loan is done using customer's own funds (Waiver on pre-payment charges is not applicable in cases of balance transfer)".

I have raised complaints many times but no positive reply. Once again request you to please waive off the prepayment charges as per your bank's own rules and refund the same to my account. It is highly unprofessional of your bank to not follow your own rules.

I have written many times to ICICI bank customer care and always got a response from them saying that pre-payment charges cannot be waived. But they give absolutely no reason whatsoever why pre-payment charges waiver is not applicable to my loan even though their own rules say, "The waiver, if any, of the prepayment charges will be applicable provided: The customer has paid 12 or more EMIs and The pre-payment of the loan is done using customer's own funds (Waiver on pre-payment charges is not applicable in cases of balance transfer)".

My complaint remains unresolved. Either I should get a waiver and refund of the pre-payment charges I was made to pay, or I should get a proper explanation for why the waiver was not applied to my loan.

Despite my repeated complaints no satisfactory explanation is forthcoming from the icici bank.

    I am Pasupuleti Sai krishna bond holder 06073764 with maturity date of 11.03.2010. I have not received any redemption amount till now. How can I redeem the bonds. I bought 6 bonds worth of 30000/rs in 2005.

      I am Anup Gadre. Please note that INR 826 have been deducted from my account as DP CHGS TILL OCT-20 on 25/11/2020.
      I have never activated and used my Demat account till now. There was no prior notice. This is totally an unacceptable and unethical behavior from ICICI. Don't ever do this without a customer acceptance, otherwise we can lose the trust.

      Kindly refund my money at earliest. I need justice and my money back immediately.

        I am Jiya Lal, 826.00 rupees has been deducted from my account as (Dmc dp chgs till oct-20) on 25-Nov-2020. I have never used my demat account till now.
        And I did not get any deduction message alert in my mobile which is registered with mobile banking with icici.

        Why you open demat account in my account while I do not need it, please close it immediately and refund my money asap.and also I did not get any message alert in my mobile which is registered with mobile banking with icici. My icici account number is[protected]. This is completely unacceptable and please refund my amount. My phone number [protected].

          I was under a impression that icici cares for customers, but this is not justifiable.

          I created my demat account using zerodha and that has to do nothing with icici right? So why I'm I being charged for this.

          Without any notice, u have debited my account and there is no proper reason for this I need my refund.
          826 rs DMC till Oct 2020.
          If I haven't opened the account through icici why are u guys charging me anyway.

          Please initiate my refund.

            I have been told that while opening demat account you don't have to pay any amount for subscription nither you will be charged any hidden amount while using demat account now they debit Rs 826 from my account. I want refund for that

              Icici bank has taken 826 rupees from my account by fraud on 25 November but I have not any demat account then after bank deducted my money. I want refund soon. Due to some fraud people at ICICI bank who are involved in fraud, totally defaming the bank name.

              Kindly return my money as soon as possible and kick such type of person from bank to stop bankrupt due to defame

                Money deducted from my icici bank account stating DMC DP C charges but I am not using demat account of icici bank. I want my refund and explanation why this amount is deducted from my account without any message from bank or notice. why I was not told at the time of account opening that these charges will be there.

                  I have fast tag account with id 11551278 vehicle no TN22CM3364 and ICICI Bank Account number:[protected]
                  I tried to recharge the fastag on 16th Nov 2020 with an amount 1600/- in 4 transactions as shown below
                  1. 500 (BIL/[protected]/FASTAG IMOBILE/)
                  2. 500 (BIL/[protected]/FASTAG IMOBILE/)
                  3. 500 (BIL/[protected]/FASTAG IMOBILE/)
                  4. 100 (BIL/[protected]/FASTAG IMOBILE/)
                  A message was sent to me by bank that above mention amount was debited from my bank account, and credited to above said fastag account, but my fastag was not recharged. But after passing more than 2 weeks, the amount is still not credited to my fastag account or reversed back to my linked Icici bank account.
                  Please refund the money or else reverse the transaction back to my bank account

                    I created my Demat account using Upstox In January 2020 and that has to do nothing with icici right? So why I'm I being charged for this.

                    Without any notice, u have debited my account twice in last 10 months and there is no proper reason for this.
                    I need my refund.
                    Debited 826 rs DMC DP CHGS till Oct 2020 yesterday.
                    Debited around Rs.500 in the month of July as Dp chanrges.
                    If I haven't opened the account through icici why are u guys charging me anyway.

                    Please initiate my refund.

                        I have been deducted with 826 rs on 25 th nov under the name of DMC dp charges till Oct 20.

                        I am using icici since 4 years and have never activated the demat account then how I am being charged . When I reached customer care they told that there is demat account on your name.

                          They charged 826 from my account. Its been 3 years they are charging my account. Have asked them to closed it as it was opened even without my permission. They said it will be refunded. But till now they are charging these charges.

                            They told me by the icici representative that it is free of cost and it will never be charged/deduct money and also i did not get any deduction message alert in my mobile which is registered with mobile banking with icici.

                            When i created the demat account, i was not told about the dp charges, it was told me by the icici representative that it is free of cost and it will never be charged and also i did not get any message alert in my mobile which is registered with mobile banking with icici. This is completely unacceptable and please refund my amount.

                              DMC/IN DP charges by ICICI Bank

                              Hi
                              I am Muktesh Bhatte. Amount of Rs.826 was debited by ICICI bank on 25/11/2020 without sms alert or email alert. The transaction mark was DMC/IN(demat acc no.) DP CHGS TILL OCT 2020.The demat account mentioned in the transaction mark belongs to my ICICI direct account.
                              I have never been charged for just operating my demat account with ICICI direct. I would like to know what are these charges? If these charges are new fees...

                              Also one very bad thing about this bank is they inform you when even Rs. 1 is deducted from your account but don't inform when they deduct charges like Rs. 826.

                                826/- rs is deducted from my account without any alert message. I am not using any demat account and the representative didn't inform any charges while opening account. But still this charges are applied and debited from my account. Dmc/ dp chgs till mar-20 is shown in the statement. So please make sure to credit the amount.

                                    I got reply from ICICI team. They are saying they charged for maintaining the demat account which I never used. When I opened account .they told its free and he insisted to open it even I told I dont want.
                                    He also told its mandatory. Bow, thy are deducting money.

                                    This is a total fraud. Think 856 deduct from 10 to 15 crore account. Its biggest scam of the year

                                      Hi Sagar Nangare here. 826.00 rupees has been deducted from my account as (DMC/[protected] DP CHGS TILL OCT-20) on 25-Nov-2020. I have neither subscribed nor used my Demat account till now.

                                      Also I didn't get any deduction message alert in my mobile which is registered with mobile banking with ICICI.

                                      We people are here because of trust towards ICICI. But this is totally an unacceptable behavior from ICICI. Don't ever do this without a customer acceptance, otherwise we can loose the trust.
