From a long time i am using a ICICI Bank credit card. As per my transaction they give me a reward point. Many times i have redeem my points and as per my previous experience with them and with a word with them that redemption of points at payback.in is fully free without any charges. But this time, i have used my redeem point in May 2015 and after 3 months suddenly ICICI Bank people woke-up and added 100 Rs Point Redemption charges with service tax in the month of Sept 2015 Credit Card statement. When i raise my voice and make complaint against these charges with there call center and complaint center, they force me to pay the charges and they said i have to pay the charges but when i say this is free they said from June 2014 they are charging Point Redemption handling charges. When i say, you never let me know entire year and after 3 months suddenly you put charges in my credit card statement. They said this is not necessary for Bank. They have authorization to put the charges. Don't you think this is strange...Is this Bank or something else who is always ready to steal your money with un-necessary charges whenever, wherever, always

I think you did not read my complaint properly.

I have done that before but for your reference sending you detail below.
i have made the complaint with your customer support team and i have called to your call center and email the detail to your complaint center on (customer.[protected]@icicibank.com) and i have received the reply from them too.

As per the detail i have received from them, they are not ready to do any thing on this regard.

As i have already sent a complaint against the issue to Mr Krishnan too on 06 oct 15 which is ICICI Bank Step 2 in complaint section but till now we did not receive any response at yet. ( check link - http://www.icicibank.com/complaints/complaints.page?)

    Initially i got call from ICICI bank (3-4 times) for lifetime free credit card (No Charges) saying that you are an Accenture employee and ICICI bank is offering it free of cost. After so many calls i got agreed to apply for the credit card on the terms of free for life time. When ever i have asked to customer care it was told to me that it will be a free life time card for me. Now the bill is generated and it has only 2 items 1. Service Tax 2. Joining Fees Do ICICI bank have some different meaning of free service or this is the way you convince new customers and cheat them after availing the service? And now when i have called to customer care they are saying now we can't anything. If you want you cant write to customer care. And this very nominal fees and this has lots of benefits and all.

      Hi ICICI Bank Authorities
      I have an ICICI credit card that expired last month. I was given a replacement from the bank, how ever had not activated it yet. I received a call from a cell phone number which stated that they are calling from the Mumbai Credit Card Verification department and that they wanted to transfer my reward point from my old card to the new card. For this they asked me my DOB, expiry dates for both cards and finally the 16 digit number for the new card.
      When i refused, they passed the call over to 4 other people who sounded like normal customer care personnel and all of them tried convincing me to divulge my card number over the phone.
      I asked them for an alternate method of verification and even gave the option of going to the bank and confirming. They kept on insisting for the 16 digit number in my voice.
      I was very suspicious of the whole process and refused to share details.
      So finally after a heated conversation i terminated the call.
      Kindly let me know if this is a standard proceedure at your end. If so, there should be better ways of doing the same without raising suspicion and having to force a customer to give out details he doesnt want to divulge.
      Hoping for a prompt response from you based on which I decide how to take up this matter.

        Now account balance is 0. Chanrging smab charges without infroming prior about it.

          I am writing this mail to seek your help/advice on the fraudulent transaction happened on my ICICI Bank credit card.
          In Dec’14, Some stranger lady stated that she is from ICICI bank server dept and she has to update my details on the system as per new RBI guidelines and they will be sending me a new card and henceforth my old credit card will not work. The lady had already possess my credit card no and was so convincing that ididnt realised that I am becoming a victim of fraud and gave her my credentials. After 2 hours I got an sms that a transaction of Rs.5020/- has happened on my card against a Airtel mobile bill payment. I immediately called up ICICI customer care and blocked my card and reported this incident in police station. Also, submitted the FIR copy and the SRS No to ICICI Bank.
          I followed up about this case with the policeman and he told me the there is an enquiry going on and till that time, I need not pay the money and he has already spoken to the bank about my case.
          After 3-4 months of followup, the policeman finally stated that he could not trace the fraudster and I have to pay the amount. Since this was going to affect me in future, I agreed to pay the money.
          One of ICICI Bank Executive name visited my house stating that he is from ICICI MIDC branch, I explained him the matter and told him that I agree to make the payment provided he give me a settlement letter. He informed me that I will get a call from ICICI bank Hyderabad branch and they can only provide me settlement letter. Few days later, I got a call from a lady Executive from ICICI bank, Hyderabad branch asking me to make a payment of Rs. 5020/-, I told her I will make the payment in the bank provide she sent me a settlement letter, the lady officer informed me that she will get back to me on the same but there were no return call.
          Please note that -
          - At first, my personal information has been compromised as the fraudster already had my credit card no.

          - If I would have got the settlement letter on time and some waiver, I would have immediately made the payment to the bank branch. But from what I have realised, there were just one or two calls in a month and no immediate response. All this have delayed the matter .

          - Some person from banks associated agency had visited my house asking me to make the payment, but when I asked for settlement letter, he had no answer. Please understand, once I have already become a victim of credit card fraud, how could you expect me to make the payment to any stranger coming to my house with no settlement letter.

          - Banks Executive always asked me to make the payment of original amount of Rs.5600/- only and not with any interest amount. In the month of Aug’15, Mr Nilesh Narvekar from Bank Agency informed me that he will try to settle in Rs. 4800/- and I agreed to make the payment also. But suddenly after a week, I got a call from him and collection manager Mr Alok Sharma asking me to pay Rs.12, 500/-.

          - I was really shocked with sudden change in amount and visited banks JB Nagar branch and MIDC branch, asking for a waiver of interest charges and I will make the payment of Rs.5600/- but I was informed by the ladies sitting in banks credit card dept, JB Nagar branch that I cannot get a waiver of interest charges since I have a salary account with ICICI bank. This is a again a shock for me as I felt having a salary account and maintain a good balance with the bank is become a crime now. This means that I wud have got waiver if I didn’t had any salary or savings account with the bank.


          - The banks agency person has been harassing me by day in and day out . The agency guys conversation is also more of threatening and all this has disturbed me and affected my work. Just for mere, Rs.5000, they have threathen to spoil my CIBIL record as well as VISA if I have to travel abroad.

          Finally, I called up ICICI customer care and narrated the whole incident to them. They agree to provide waiver of Rs.1500 only and asked me to pay Rs10, 500. Infact, they have already blocked Rs.8147 from my account. Even if I will not pay, they will spoil my CIBIL record.

          - I am one of ICICI very old customer and also a privilege member of the bank. I have never gone against the banks rules and always made all my payments on time. Prior to the Dec’14, I was maintaining a good balance account, but when this incident happen, I had to transfer the funds to other bank. Even after this incident, I am still getting calls from fraudsters.

          - I am very much disturbed with this entire issue as inspite of my repeated request and discussion, the bank officials are asking me to pay more than double amount. This has made me take a decision not to have any relation with the bank, because they didn’t even care that I am their old customer.

          - Its my humble request you to please help me get back my money that they have charged extra.

              Hi All, There was an unauthorized amount withdrawal of 20000 from ATM after i had performed my transaction of 6000 and it was done in the ATM that was present next to the ATM in which I had withdrawn the amount my transaction completed at 30-Sep-2015 7:16 pm and the other transaction of 20000 was done at 30-Sep-2015 7:22 pm. Its my salary account and i had raised the ticket with ICICI Customer Care with ref #:- SR[protected]. And no response or resolution yet whenever i call the customer care they say they are working on it but i don't see if that is really being worked. I had done withdrawal from ICICI ATM only and the fraud withdrawal had happened on ICICI ATM Only. Not sure why is that they are taking so long to investigate. And there are 5 ATM's in same place in 2 Shop's in the 1st shop there are 3 ATM's which has no security guard at all. I have done a bigger mistake banking with these people. Kindly get the issue resolved.

                Credit card charges added as selected Auto debit of total due amount

                I've been an ICICI bank customer for more than 10 years now. I had maintained some balance in the account and for the past couple of months have not been using the savings account effectively. Now when I see, they had taken nearly Rs.2029 as SMAB charges every month for the past one year. This is ridiculous. I would like to raise the issue with the concerned so that the bank is not robbing the customers in terms of charges and fees. Atlast, they are doing business with customers money and ripping them in the name of charges for using it. This SHOULD be stopped. Please take necessary action against this corporate robbers

                  I placed a request on 30th Sep, 2015 to close an Iwish goal(Flexible RD) but even after 4 days amount was not credited.I called customer care several times but they just keep on delaying this. Finally yesterday someone took manual request to close it and promised amount shall be credited by today evening but still amount is not credited. When I called CC they again said tomorrow.                     In cibil i have problem from icici bank as i had purchase scooter from sub dealer shop he gave me honda dio scooter two wheeler it was not register after using 2 to 3 months i was not getting register number from that dealer so i fight with him and return that scooter that he told i will close that icici loan as scooter was not register on my name that time he gave me another scooter from another bank that time i was not aware that loan was not close i had return that scooter but after 5 year now icici are calling me and telling me that ur payment of that scooter is pending but i cant under stand if payment was pending then now how they are taking follow up that dealer had taken that payment from bank and scooter i aslo not register on my name then how can i pay that payment if i m not having that scooter ...i think there was tie up with icic bank and dealer because that i m facing problem in cibil icic dnt care they are telling that u dnt pay but i m surfing issue in cibil if bank had taken that time action they could recover from dealer because dealer and bank fault i m facing problem so pls help sachin s karkera [protected]

                      Dear Sir, i took a honda dio two wheeler from sub dealer he gave me dio scooter i had use for 2 to 3 months and my payment were aslo going from account but when i came to knw that scooter was not register on my namei return to that scooter to dealer inside that he told u no need to pay me i have close that icici loan and he gave me another scooter from other bank .. that time i was not aware that my loan was not close and no follow uo by bank they nor came to collect scooetr after 5 years now they are calling and telling me that my scooter loan is pending but sir now i dnt no that loan account no and i dnt have that scooter that dealer that taken back and it was not register on my name then how can bank gave full payment to that dealer ... sir help me i my have cibil problem because of icici there was tie up between icici and dealer now i my facing problem pls help i need to clear my cibil.                         My FD No.[protected] was matured on dated[protected] and the same was credited directly in my saving account. As per FD, maturity value was Rs. 36, 696/- but the same was credited in my account with Rs. 34, 215/-. I thought that the deduction may be against TDS but there is no TDS certificate provided by bank and no reflection in Form 26AS. I have sent lot emails to icici cutomer care to know the deduction but as on date there is response given by ICICI. Anuj Garg [protected]

                            I have went to icici bank vatakara branch( calicut dist, kerala) on 03/10/15 to deposit the cash to my own account. It was an urgent for hospital bill. I went at 2.05 pm. Security informed me that transaction are closed, but i asked about new rule of rbi then he asked me to contact manager. Manager also informed me the same, that is saturdays is not working after 2'clk. Because of this i met some problems with hospital for my father eye operation. Kindly let me know details of new rule of rbi. So that i can make comaplint regarding this.

As per RBI Master Circular on Customer Service in Banks dated July 1, 2015, "Banks should normally function for public transactions at least for 4 hours on week days and 2 hours on Saturdays". Pursuant to RBI press release dated August 28, 2015 declaring Banking Holidays on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, the Bank has continued with its existing extended Banking hours on all days including Saturdays. It may be noted that the Saturday working hours i.e., 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. exceeds the minimum 4 working hours stipulated by RBI on weekdays.

                              Is it necessary to open a minor account with ICICI bank to open a account under Sukanya samriddhi Yojana. I already have a ICICI bank account with Noida, Sector 18 branch. With all the documents mentioned for opening a SSY account I went to Noida, Sector 18 branch but they asked to get opened a minor account with 10k balance first . Need help regarding this.                               Hi,
                              I beleive Icici is targeting and concentrating moreon opening savings account and is least bothered about other products and services. When I went to open Sukanya Yogna account for my daughter they first asked me to pay 25k as initial deposit for the account. Later I realised, they were first opening a minor account. What was the necessity when am already an account holder in ICICI. The most irritating part is I've completed all the formalities and documentation and also have given a cheque of 20k to Icici executive but still my Sukanya Yogna account is not yet opened.

                              Please explain on this.

                                Dear Sir, Recently i transfered some amount to my icici bank account, immediately Rs:6000-/ was deducted from my account.I was not informed and I didn't get any warning about this.Suddenly 6000 was deducted i'm deeply dissatisfied with this approach.                                   We observed that since last 2-3 years, ICICI Bank's service and policies are extremely worst. We are totally frustrated with ICICI Bank's worst service and policies, which we have been never seen in my whole life this kind of responsibilities and irregularities. According to last example of ICICI Bank's worst policy i.e. Maturity value of my FD No[protected] was Rs. 36, 696/- and the same was matured on dated[protected] and when it was matured the same was credited directly in my saving account no.[protected] on dated[protected] but unfortunately the same was credited in my saving a/c with Rs. 34, 215/. And I have one more FD No[protected] which will be matured in March 2016, the maturity value of the same is 30831/- as per physical FD sent by the bank through registered post but the maturity value of the same at my online internet banking showing Rs. 30773/- I have sent lot of mails to ICICI Bank for clarification of difference amount Rs. 2, 481/- and to know the difference in amount of my current FD but ICICI is not giving any answer as on date. I thought that the difference amount may be for TDS deduction so it will be confirmed from Form 26AS when I will file my income tax return but unfortunately this amount is not showing in Form 26AS as on date. For this cheat / fraud I sent my first mail to complete to ICICI Bank on dated 22-Aug-2015 but as on date there is no reply from their side. It’s extremely ridiculous about ICICI Bank policies. Now these days everybody feels ICICI Bank is worst among all the Banks in India. We are going to hire an advocate and also launch complain in Consumer court against ICICI Bank Ltd.                                     Amount of rs 684 has been deducted from my account as DP charges as mention below. 1 29/09/2015 57176023 DP CHGS TILL AUG-15 Dr. 684.00 I was not aware of this demat account and no icici representative has ever told me anything about it, i didn't get any username and password and never informed about this charge, this is totally unfair to deduct this amount, please refund my money.                                       I have been receiving unsolicited emails from ICICI bank that have been spamming my mailbox. Even after Unsubscribing from these emails so many times, I still receive these email. After contacting their support staff to remove my ID, there has been no help / assistance of any sort. Its been over 3 months and the problem still persists.
