I am one of your privilege customer holding account from past 20 years. (SB account XXXXX0877).
I would like to share my sufferings and mental agony caused by your representatives inaction and apethy towards my issue.
Branch - ICICI Bank, Hanumanthanagar. Bangalore (Brnach code-2325)
Visit -1
I had visited your above branch for opening of my Minor son on 2nd May 2015. Met one Lokesha E (M.No.[protected]) and completed formalities of account opening. I have been assured my account will get activated by 4th May 2015. I got the opening kit for account no.[protected]. I have clearly explained i am opneing this account for my minor son and would require ATM card on urgent basis. I had waited for a week, to my surprise i did not get any message. I called up Lokesh, he did not pickup the call. I called up customer care on 9th May 2015, customer care confirmed my account is not activated and i need to contact branch only.
Visit-2
I visited branch on 11th May 2015 @ around 8.30am. Your reps at branch not entertained me stating migration is happening. Finally after lot of persuations they send one gentlemen called Sharavan V (m.no.[protected]). He said he will give me a call by 10.30am. As expected, he did not call me at all. I had called him twice, he said the person who has opened my account Lokesh will call me back. I called Lokesh, again he did not pickup call and did not give me call back. After repeated compalints to Shravan, Lokesh called me back evening and asked me to visit branch again. I have told him I am unable to come during working hours. hence, he had visited my home on 12th May 2015 and did the formalities afresh. stating first time he had some problem with tab, etc.or photos not captured properly etc and also ICICI bank cheque is not accepted for opening account ?
Visit-3
Again there was no respone from him, called several times, but no response. I got a call on 13th May 15 from no lady executive (M.No.[protected]), stating that if I want the account to open, I need to visit the branch again and do the formalities again. I had visited the branch on 15h Morning. All the formalities of taking photograph and scanning aadhar card has been completed in front of the Bank in open Public place. ( is this i deserved for being loyal customer for 20 years ?)
I was following it up with same lady for ATM card, but I was only getting assurance but nothing was moving. In the mean time I have called upMr.Harish, branch manager of the branch on27th May 2015 and narrated the complete event of things. he said he will look into that and I did not get any response nor the problem solved. To Surprise, even he did not get back to me nor he ensured solution to the problem.
Visit-4
Once again I visited branch on 30th May 2015 and met branch manager. Mr.Harish come to know the real problem and understoor the pain I have gone through for 30 days. He has assured he will get back soon.
a) I have lost all my trust with the bank of any nearby solution.
b) Being a loyal customer I have to visit the bank 4 times and also i must have done nearly 50-60 calls.
c) I am wondering how come you will not accept ICICI bank cheque of mine for opening my son's account.
d) Customer care is non-sensense, I have left my number 3 times to call back. to my surprise I have received the call back after 2-3 days. Each time, when they called, they were asking for account no. since I was in meeting and requested them to call me back after 15-20 minutes of times. so that I will be able to give details and get solution to the problem.But your representatives never called me back.
e) I tried to ask a query through SB account interaction, query was asking about service request no generated by branch. Which I have never got from the branch.
f) Please note, I had all the liberty to go to press or the social media. I think you must be well aware of negative publicity you will get out of this.
I have undergone lot of pain and mental agony for last 30 days and still my problem is not resolved. Is this the treatment you are giving to me for being loyal customer of your bank for last 20 years ???
Even though the branch manager assured of solving the problem, i do not have any confidence left with your Hanumanthanagar branch and I would request look into my problem and resolve the issue immediately.
