Called many times on Dehradun[protected] but no reply hence writing mail. As I am Scientist in ISRO even on official-tour many times i pay my complete bills timely.
However this time my due date was 04.06.15 and a payment of Rs9, 500 (through Billdesk) was received on 03.06.15 but balance payment was bounced as it was cheque for which i was informed only on 05.06.2015 by my banker & hence i made another payment (through Billdesk) on 07.06.15 which could be credited in you a/c on 10.06.15 only. For the delay of 6-days an interest of Rs.1700 is levied which is exorbitant for the loyal customer.
Once it happened with my Citi & AxisBank Cards but no penalty was imposed for Loyal-customers and i just made an inquiry pertaining to this case to which CCE only was capable of answering that "once in a while event is relaxed".
I hope ICICI bank is not so harsh and customer unfriendly to be rude enough to not waive-off the interest for' rarest-of-the-rare' case for a loyal customer who never-ever defaulted; even after terms of card changed without informing (like no points for petrol, no receiving of card with enhanced security, not getting by post the bills even SMS says it is delivered, etc.)
Hence request interest amount of ~ Rs 1800 levied on me my be waived-off immediately as a special case for a loyal government servant & retaining customer.
I am your customer since 2007 & never defaulted in-spite of various compromises made by me.
