ICICI - SR- SR[protected]

I Dhaval Sharma, have account in ICICI bank.
On 31/12/2013, I was trying to withdrawal some money from Shalimar Garden(Shahibad) ATM.
After trying 10-15 times I was able to get 10,000 as mystatement.

But on 04/01/2013, Bank self debited my ac by 5000(ATM TXN/3112/SEVDA601/DT31.12).

I have already raised the request for the same, kindly help me out to get my money back in my account.

    I have multiple issues with ICICI bank.

    1. I had raised a request that there have been Fraudulent transactions done with my debit card on my account on 29th may and i got my debit card blocked that day and got a new card. Also raised a request to get that transaction researched. I have got a debit card which is ok but no response on the Fraudulent transaction and i still see the same transaction from same person/site on 12th June. This scares me and wants me to close the account rather than with debit card etc.
    2. I just came to know from customer service that ICICI charges 28 rs if you by chance forget your balance and (or mess up with your debit cards if you have more than one) punch in wrong amount. This is surprising and disappointing :(.
    3. Customer service folks are really rude they talk with word "Boss" i am really disappointed with that.

    I was a customer of ICICI from 5-6 years but now they just let me down in one day, i would say thanks to them and close all my accounts with them.

      I have opened a salary account with ICICI Bank,Jatani Branch; though its more than 15 days, they are not activating my account for which i am unable to withdraw my salary. Even I contacted their customer care executive and following up daily with the respective branch, but still not got any fruitful result except some false assurances. request you to look into the matter seriously to resolve the issue.

        Mr. Vaneet Phull (ICICI Employee) was committed to me open a current account within 3 days (24th Dec. 2012). He take some formality paper & 25000/- rs. cheque (Cheque no. 727066) OBC Sunam). But after 3 day his reply not satisfactory. Last i told him i don't want account in your bank please back all document and cheque. till this date the ICICI bank not given back my document and cheque amount of 25000. Please help me.

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          This is Ausiya Raheem, holding an ICICI saving b/a :[protected]. My complaint is related to the minimum account balance charges, that bank has debited from my account without even notifying there policy changes, if any. ICICI bank has debited amount multiple times from my account. I think ICICI bank is not even following the guidelines mentioned by RBI. Previously they take the average for a quarter to check the minimum balance but suddenly they changed without any information send to us (customers). I was unawre of this.

          ICICI Minimum Account Balance Charges

          I have been a customer of ICICI Bank for the past 6 years and have been maintaining a good balance in my savings bank account. number is[protected] in Chennai (T Nagar Branch) in my account.

          However, I see in my statement that the bank has charged me a minimum account balance charge of Rs. 393.26 for June, July & Aug and all in the month of Sept and Oct. I do not expect this from a bank of as good standing as ICICI. I strongly encourage the bank to strengthen their controls in this aspect, in addition to refunding the charge back to my account.

          my acc no. is[protected] name vinod agarwal this icici bank is money eaters...they are cutting 1000s of rs under mab charges each and every month where the real fine is just 200rs ...but this month they crossed all there limits and cut fine 3 days in a row 8th june 9th june and 10th june...would kindly request to take actions against this fraud bank and get it down...refund my money so that i can close my account and open other account in some good bank...already complained 100 times but this customer care and icici minto park branch is sick no response...they keep saying they will reverse but never have done Yet !!! please take some steps soon against thks fraud money eaters icici bank

            This is regards to the cheque book delivery, I requested for new cheque book and I got the intimation the cheque book is despatched to the address mentioned through courier.

            The best part of the courier service is they come with cheque book on working day and working hours so I am not available at home but family member is there and he informs that he is not giving the cheque book and is returning the same to the bank.

            Why send the cheque book via courier who is just making a visit without intention of delivery of the same?

            If the courier wanted to deliver the book in person then he should have called me and set a time to come and deliver. Are the customers of ICICIbank supposed to take 10 days leave and sit at home for the cheque book delivery?

            Other banks courier give chque book to the family members.
            In overseas the courier will call the phone no and inform about the parcel accordingly.

            Earlier email could be sent from ICICIbank online account to the account manager for the issues to be reported but now the page has been reprogrammed where only the pull down menu appears and cannot send any mail besides selecting the drop down selection.

            Hope somebody from ICICIbank responds.

              I am G.Arunagiri, a ICICI Bank Gold Credit Card holder bearing No.[protected].

              I state that when I recieved the statement during October 2008 I was shocked to know that a sum of Rs.3,772.64/- was billed to my account towards icici prudential insurance since I have never availed any such insurance policy. Immediately I contacted over phone and gave a complaint vide Complaint No.3013592, 3003085, 4062776 in October 2008 and informed that i never availed any insurance policy. A complaint through email was also forwarded immediately wherein it was clearly stated that some executive from your bank has misguided and misused the card details for the insurance policy.

              I state that thereafter I have made several correspondences through emails to ICICI Bank Ltd and upon their request several complaints were made to ICICI Prudential life for cancellation of the insurance policy and also demanding not to debit my account. Inspite of several correspondences through emails the said insurance policy was neither cancelled nor any productive reply was sent to me.

              I state that I have never used the credit card and due to the harassment meted out to me by the bank and the ICICI Prudential life through my email I requested to block the credit card during 2008 itself. But to my surprise and shock my salary account with ICICI Bank Ltd was debited with Rs.7,244.84 on 5.3.09 , Rs.7,152.62 on 8.8.09 and 8,210.67 on 25.5.2010 in all a sum of Rs. 22,608.13/- towards the insurance policy which I had never availed.

              I state that inspite of several reminders, requests and complaints through emails, my salary account has been debited though I have never used the credit card and I have not availed the insurance policy.

              I therefore request your goodself to kindly look into the complaints given by me and the amount debited from my account has to be refunded to me and further there shall not be any more debits or claims towards the insurance charges which I have never availed.

              Hope you will look into the matter and give me mental relief.

              ICICI Credit Card — Misguided policy by ICICI Bank

              Ref : Credit card statement an amounting to Rs.15, 598.70 as on 22.07.2008

              Sir,

              Recently a creditcard statement received on 31.07.2008 an amounting to Rs.15, 598.70 from ICICI Bank that above amount due on my credit card [protected], I was socked to get this message towards ICICI Lombard health card. Your executive representative (Mr. Gurukal Mishra,[protected] just made a call and explained (Dt.07.06.2007 at 05.15 PM) about the insurance. I again and again repeated my words that "Is these policies is free for me and my family? and I will not a single rupee on acocunt of above insurance" he replied me that "Jayeshji ICICI Bank will pay above amount and these policies are free for me and my family and you will not pay a single rupee on acocunt of these policies".

              In earlier mail I already written above details and also I repeated that the conversion between ME and MR. GURUKAL MISHRA[protected] on 07.06.2007 at 05.15 PM to 06.20 PM.

              If the above debited insurance amount did not removed, I will take this matter with RBI and ocnusmer court. Also if my credit card misused this way, I will file a criminasl complaints also.

              Due to this harrasement and continuance correspondence with mail I will surrendering my credit card. You are, therefore requested to take immediate action for delection of debit entry of Rs.13714 (R.15, 598 - Rs.1885 paid) as I have not given any consent or signed any documents in this regard.

              And your above executive misguided your regular and faithfull customer, I already paid an amounting to Rs.1885/- (Rs.837 BSNL + 1048 Torrent Power AEC bill) which was actually due on my said credit card vide cheque No.816066 dated 01.08.2008 drawn ICICI Bank today (01.08.2008) but remaining amount to Rs.13714 I will not pay on acocunt of your misguided policy.

                ICICI Bank/Airtel — Negative Service

                On 1-06-08 I paid rupees 120 towards recharging my mobile through Internet banking. But nothing happened and I lost rupees 120. I have complained to Airtel and ICICI Bank through email and phone. No result so far.

                Airtel — not crediting to my ac

                Dear manager

                i m mohammed anwar customer of airtel from past 3 years i have not found any kind of inconviniance by u people but yesterday i recharged my ac but it does not got credied, pls do the needfull.

                  On the 22 November 2012 I paid off my home loan i had with ICICI bank. This was a full and final payment that I made with accordance to the foreclosure letter they had given me. It all started when I repaid my loan to the bank, I had asked for the foreclosure letter and List of documents. They gave me the list of the documents stating that they are in Possession of my original property documents. They did not mention to me even a slight bit about the damages that they had caused to my original documents. The bank is saying it’s an act of God when the 26 July 2005 Mumbai floods happened many original Property document in their custody got damaged. So what where they doing since then, Why didn’t the bank notify me about the same and also took precautions to undo the damages by following legal procedures. So that means they pre-assumed the customer will not pay off the loan or it shows their negligence. So what about the bank audit that happens every year how did they manage that. That means the bank had covered a lot of things and used unfair practices to for their own gains.
                  I worked hard to pay off the loan every 7th of Month since 2005 to November 2012 they have debited my bank a/c on time to get their EMI for my loan. They did not wasted time they did not give me any exemption are asked me if I am having a good time or bad time. They did not even bothered to about how many difficulties I had to go through to make sure ac had the funds by the 7th so that don’t ding me for the not paying on time. if any customer misses the payment he is also slapped with a penalty, Bank charges a bounce charge, credit report in ruined and so on and so forth. Then why should the bank delay my Property Document for so long. I should be in possession of my property paper by now but the bank has not bothered to give me my right full documents still.
                  Now I saw the documents the documents were in depleted state there were water marks and important signatures of the concern authorities and stamps where blotted and spread across the papers in the file. The main documents were also damaged the building Floor plan was just blank because it was been totally wasted out. I asked the bank manager to recreate the documents and issue a public notice of damage of my property documents. The branch manager promised me of 15days in writing on ICICI and letter head the recreation process will be completed. Also informed me he will make sure it in fast-track the process and get the recreation of the documents before 15days time. Also in the meantime informed me he will get back to me after consulting the legal team. On the 21st of Dec I get an email stating I cannot get a public notice since the documents are not lost and only in the case of lost documents the public notice is served. Hence then I requested them supporting document to prove the authenticity of my damaged property paper. I needed an unconditional Indemnity bond and a declaration of the state of my document.
                  I visited the ICICI bank corporate head office to meet the concern officer to sort out the issue I met Mr Shiva Tadikonda Deputy General Manager (Customer Service Quality Group) He assured me of service and also informed me on the 28th Dec 2012 all the documents will be recreated and I can pick it up from the ICICI bank Borivali west Branch .I was also confirmed by email of the same.
                  On the 28th of Dec I visited the ICICI bank Borivali West Branch with my Lawyer to inspect the documents. I was shocked to see my documents were still not recreated and still not recreated. Is the irresponsible behaviour they portray to their customer’s, the Bank was pretending to have recreated my original property document and where just wasting my time, energy, productive hours. I had been mentally harassed by their inhuman behaviour and torture. The rude behaviour of the bank staff they were just not ready to take the responsibility they just pass on the buck to a different department and try to save their skin. But in the interim my time, energy and Productivity is jeopardised. I have lost my mental peace; this is a mental Harassment it’s been very difficult to accept the fact that I don’t have proper documentation for my house wherein I stay. My insecurity in increasing day by as ICICI bank is delaying the process of not providing me with the documents that is need to protect my property.
                  It’s not only me suffering in this Agony and pain but my entire Family. This bank wants us to come to their terms and does not want out interest but their interest to me served. I have been affected so badly by this behaviour of the bank I am not able to focus on my work. Both my family life and Professional life has gone for toss. My family is worried I have to make follow ups and mailers every time. My entire mental ability is wasted in this process. I have cancelled numerous meetings and appointments. As I creativity has been soiled. More Over the sleepless nights the bank has given me I am always waiting for their reply and getting a No for an answer. My family seems me in this endeavour and they are also with me in my suffering process this is the least I wanted. Why should me and my family suffered because of the bank negligence and carless behaviour.
                  My I not feeling secure in this environment the bank has created for us they have ruined our lives. The bank does not care for the customer and their family. Who has worked so hard to get the loan paid. It’s not only customer but the entire family contributes towards to paying off of the home loan. Just imagine every small and big sacrifice I and my family has made to pay the monthly instalments to the bank. It’s really heart aching to see all this sacrifices are in vain. The bank does not care of the mental state of the customer and their family. They should not be such ruthless in their behaviour; it’s so difficult in today economy to pay off the loans. Inspite all odds if I am my family has managed to pay off the loan and behaved as a good customer. Why can’t the bank appreciate us for beening a good customer. If I has a Good customer have done my duty. Why can’t the bank do the same?
                  The bank wants to give the documentation according to their terms which is not acceptable. They so badly by this are giving me a 3 years indemnity bond and letter on the Letter head of the bank. Which does not make any sense, the indemnity bond is only for 3 years then what after that. Also the ICICI bank letter head is not registered. Both the document that they are providing does not stand good according to me.
                  They have done the blunder and they are supposed to take care of it. Why should I suffer?
                  So many days have passed by From 22 November 2012 it’s going to be 2013 Soon I am getting nightmare’s in getting a resolution. ICICI bank is imposing their own terms which they want me to accept, they are giving me a supporting document which is not up to my satisfaction. This has increased my insecurity and I have lost faith in the bank. There might thousand’s customer how are unaware of what has happed with their original property documents. They might be working really hard to pay off the loan. But t will be a shock to them when they find out the fact that the bank will be giving they a document which would be in a state they will not be able to recognise and in the name of supporting document the bank will waste the time of the customers and make the customer to dance to their tune. This is was unfortunate for me to bank with ICICI bank undoubtedly one of the worst customer service is had ever received and unfair practice’s I had ever witnessed in my life time. I received a mail on the 29th Dec 2012 from the senior management team stating they will contact me on the 3 January 2013 but I am still waiting.

                  ICICI — Suffered badly because of ICICI Bank's Negligence

                  Hi, (Serious escalation on ICICI Bank)

                  I raised complaints, concerns and I requested over the phone to customer care executives, I complained over the website, I wrote a complaint and submitted but still I did not get any kind of help from ICICI Bank.. My request ID is SR[protected]. I want the justice and I not only want my money back but also I want the compensation from either Bank or the Government for what all problems I faced because of the failure and faults of ICICI Bank.

                  My name is Vijay, and I suffered very badly because of ICICI Bank and their negligency.. I have been facing severe problems because of the ATM Server failures. From the past 1 and half year time I faced this problem, 4 times. All these times, whenever I tried withdrawing the amount, I got the reply from the bank saying, "Sorry unable to process the request". But after some time the amount was getting deducted from my account.

                  Last time on 5th of April, I tried withdrawing the amount but I got a reply from the ATM "Sorry unable to process" but very next moment I got a message saying the said amount is deducted from my account.
                  That time I was very much in need of the money as my friend met with an accident and I was desparately in need of money.. That was not the first time I struggled and faced problems because of this fraudulant bank.. Before that in November when I was about to pay the fees amount for one of the exams, and that was the last day to pay, I tried to with draw the amount from the ATM, It took too much of time and finally popped up a message on screen saying "failed to process the request due to some technical problems." and that day I could not pay the fees and I lost a major exam.

                  I called customer care on 6th and raised a complained.. They assured me that the money will get credited within 8 working days, but after 14 days I received a message on my mobile which says "we have registered your request today and it will take 12 days for processing". I went to the bank and registered the complaint on whatever happened to me and how I suffered due to the faults of ICICI. After 12days when I called the customer care they said, it will be done in 1 or 2 days. After 4 days when I called again they are saying it will take some more time.

                  I did not do anything wrong and I tried to withdraw the amount from those ATM's which are permitted to withdraw the amount and listed by the bank. Why should I suffer and I want the justice, not only money.

                  I want the compensation from the ICICI Bank for the inconvenience, problems, struggles faced by me because of their faults. I not only need my money back into my account but also the compensation for whatever happened to me and the loss occured to me due to the failure and faults of ICICI Bank.

                  If there is a law and there is justice and this CONSUMER FORUM is there to help the innocent civiliance/consumers of India and the people who faced problems because of the faults and mistakes committed by some of the well established organizations, then I should get the justice and that justice should not only get my money back, but also pay me back all those losses which occured due to the negligency, failure, faults of ICICI Bank.

                  I want to ask one question to Government, and ICICI bank!! If some body uses the ICICI bank's credit card and wont pay the bills then why the bank charge interest?? The similar thing has happened to me, my money is been misused by the bank they held my money for all these days.. I also want to charge the interest for my money and the compensation for the losses which occured to me due to their failures.

                  Kindly take my complaint/request into concideration and please, please dont neglect as how the ICICI bank people are doing. Prove to the consumers/civiliance that there is a law in INDIA and there is a justice in INDIA..

                  has taken my all documents and one check of Rs 900 - ICICIBank. But this is going to be around 5 months. I called up Mr. Azgarali many times but he is not

                  Icici providing one of the worst service i have ever seen..

                    I am constantly receiving calls from ICICI bank asking for Mr. Damodar Verlekar . I also recieve sms regarding some credit card payments etc. Despite of consistently reminding them this number does not belong to the said person these people do not bother to change the number or contact the respective person via his address provided. but they find it amusing to contact the same number again and again..... and i have to answer these calls even when I am on roaming. Is the bank going to pay for the inconvenience caused? I have earlier written to consumer complaints in July 2012 but things dont seem to change. The latest number from which i recieved a call on 2nd January 2013 at 12:44 pm is [protected] I am sick and tired of this matter.

                    ICICI Bank — Getting unwanted SMS, asking me to pay loan

                    I have'nt taken any loan with ICICI Bank, but I keep getting sms from ICICI bank asking me to pay the loan, or else my details will be given to Credit Bureau.

                    I raised a complaint with the call center and they said it will never happen again, But this is still happeing.

                    Its causing me a lot of mental stress, bank holding me accountable for which I am not.
                    If the same continues I am definitely going to SUE the bank.

                      Today, i.e., on 1st January 2013 at around 13.30, I went to an ICICI Bank ATM to withdraw amount from my account. However, the transaction was declined and I got a receipt which mentioned 'Unable to Process'. At the same time, I got a message on my cell phone that the entire amount has been debited from my account. When I went to the nearer branch of ICICI, they told me that nothing can be done from the branch and I have to call at customer care to lodge my complaint. It took me 3-4 calls each of 30 min duration to lodge my complaint, as they customer care executives were initially not answering my call and when they answered they put me on hold for minimum 5-6 min. When my call was answered, the customer care executive assured me that within 24 hrs the amount would be reverted back to my account, which was also told to me by the Branch Manager of ICICI Bank Dombivli (E) branch, Mahesh Talreja. Still, I received a message from ICICI, that my issue would be resolved within 5 working days. When, I called in customer care, the rude manager or supervisor, told me that initially I was given a wrong information. I was not the only person who has faced this agony. There was another person in the ATM center, who tried 2 time to withdraw amount from different machines and received the same response. I request to please look in to these matter. Thank You

                        Hi Sir,

                        I work for a very reputed IT firm of India and I am deputed in China for last 2 years.

                        I got a notice from ITO Bhubaneswar saying I have to produce myself in front of ITO to give a proof and justification for all the transactions I have done in the year 2009.

                        After inquiring further with the ITO, I got to know that ICICI has put my name in the Annual Income Report (AIR)saying I have used my credit card for transferring INR 19.23 Crores into some account.
                        When i further checked with ICICI Bank on the same then they provided me all the Credit Card statements for the same period and there was no such transaction.

                        Then it looked like a blunder from ICICI Bank while uploading the data into AIR so I contacted ICICI Bank for closing this with ITO but they kept insisting that they have fixed the issue with AIR and there is nothing that they will be able to do for closing this issue.

                        Me and my whole family was really worried as I am outside the country and I was not having any clue to how to get this issue closed. At the same time we were also worried that if somehow this money is linked with any wrongdoing and if my name gets linked then my family,s future will get ruined.

                        We were all under a huge stress situation and when I contacted Senior officials of Icici Bank for compensation after sending a legal notice people started making mockery of my grievances and compensation.

                        I was also offered a compensation of INR 20000 after I warned the officials for taking this to consumer forum which is nothing considering the gravity of the mistake and the possible outcome of the event to my family.

                        So considering the following points: -
                        1) Huge impact on my trust on ICICI due to a systemic failure and reporting wrong data in AIR without review
                        2) Very unprofessional approach (very poor ownership for the Issue created by the organization) towards closing it with Income Tax department and it was certainly not my mistake but still it was me who suffered the most
                        3) Demeaning the impact of mistake by offering INR 20,000 as compensation

                        Now I have put a Grievance in the PG Portal and send out the request to the respective Ministry to look into it and provide me justice but there also it has been closed without any further action.
                        Since I am outside the country so I am not able to put the case in Consumer Court in person so I would like to put this complaint online against ICICI Bank for further action and getting the compensation for all the wrongdoing.

                        This whole incidence has taken me and my whole family for a ride and me and my whole family was under severe stress for more than 3 months as ICICI Bank had created a wrong report and put my name in the Annual Income Report for such a huge number.

                        This whole blunder had turned out very alarming for me and my family's future. I am looking at a compensation of INR 3 Crores (this is my current salary multiplied with my remaining service poriod) to secure my family's future which was put in danger because of the wrong reporting of the sensitive customer data.
                        I had also requested ICICI Bank to close this matter with Income Tax Department, which they failed to do and because of which my whole family was under deep stress (including me)and we were not knowing how this whole transaction got linked to my name. We also kept praying for not getting my name linked with any criminal activity(due to the falsification of sensitive data) further to get my whole family's future ruined.

                        ICICI Bank has conducted Unfair Trade Practice under Section 2 (1) (r) of CPA by providing false information in the Annual Income Report for 2008-09 showing transaction of Rs 19.23 crores on the ICICI credit card of the consumer.
                        There is deficiency in their service as they have not been able to provide the details of the transaction through the credit cad statement when the consumer demanded for the same, as his transaction limit on his card is only Rs 1.2 Lakhs.
                        ICICI Bank has just apologized and tried to get away from this blunder making the consumer face the income tax authorities and causing embarrassment to him.
                        Sorry for all the trouble but I suppose this is nothing compared to the pain and trauma me and my entire family has gone through for approx 4 months which could have jeopardized my family's future.

                          I am holding Miracle Card from Centurion Bank of Punjab, (Now transferred to ICICI Credit Card) I did not make any transaction using this credit card & didn't receive the monthly statement for last many years consecutively.

                          Now suddenly, I have received statement from ICICI Bank stating there is outstanding amount of Rs. 101.73 on this particular card (I am not sure for what this transaction was made for?). The statement shows late fees of around Rs. 500 in the month of Nov'12.
                          Again, I have received next statement from ICICI bank in Dec'12 stating the total amount due is more than Rs. 1000 (Including additional Rs 500 as late fee for Nov'12.)

                          Can someone help me understanding, what is going on??? I do not want this card any more and want to close it ASAP.

                          I am not going to pay a single paisa for this card anyways.....

                          I am holding Miracle Card from Centurion Bank of Punjab, (Now transferred to ICICI Credit Card) I did not receive the monthly statement for 2 months consecutively. i.e November 2008 and December 2008, Neither did I receive SMS alert stating the TAD amount due neither the final SMS alerting the deadline due date.

                          Question I want to ask, Is it the fault of the customer to pay full month's interest when the next month statement comes? for no fault of his? And still, next month I didn't receive the statement but I had to call up the customer care at the last moment to know my TAD amount for the second month statement not received.

                          Kindly let me know who is responsible to deduct the interest when statement not received and why it is customers fault to pay the same?

                          I am tired and cursing myself to have open account with ICICI Bank.

                              Thanks for helping me out. Now It has been clear that I have paid fully outstanding amount in May 2006.

                              Really it is very helpful to stop collecting agencies to spoil my credit in India.

                              I have received NOC but I received same NOC when I fully paid loan in May 2006.

                                The cheque Book sent by ICICI is not delivered to me. Some one phoned me from your office and asked. The address has a wrong digit.
                                My address is 17-1-260/3 whereas the courier shows 17-1-260/1. I have explained to the lady to deliver at my address. She promised but it is a week now neither the CHQ book is delivered to my address nor it is reached to the bank.
                                Alternatively You can deposit at ICICI Bank, Santoshnagar Branch. It is nearest branch. I can collect from there.

                                A call in this regard is highly appreciated.

                                  Respected Sir/Madam,

                                  I am Nikhilesh Ray staying at Vashi, Navi Mumbai. I would like to register a complaint/dispute against missuse of my ICICI credit card.

                                  There were three fraudulent transactions made from my ICICI credit card account number [protected] on dated 26.12.2012. The details are as mentioned below:

                                  1. Transaction of GBP 233.93 is made at www.SPORTSDIRECT on 26-dec-2012 (5:22:53 pm)
                                  2. Transaction o[censored]SD 115.44 is made at ENTROPAY on 26-dec-2012 (4:47:50 pm)
                                  3. Transaction o[censored]SD 188.91 is made at ENTROPAY on 26-dec-2-12 (4:43:40 pm)

                                  As soon as I got message on mobile number [protected] about the transactions, I have contacted ICICI bank customer care and informed about the fraud incident. The ICICI bank employee (Emp number: 218314) has blocked my credit card against service request (SR[protected]. This ICICI employee has informed to file FIR and register complaint to Cyber cell Department.

                                  Hence, I have registered my complaint to the cyber cell department.

                                  Now the transactions are also appearing in the statement. On further raising concern against service request (SR[protected], the customer care says that they cannot help me in this matter as the transaction was done through 3-D authentication, but I have already informed that i have not shared these information anywhere. I want ICICI Bank to take necessary steps to reverse the transaction immediately as I am not liable to pay this amount and the bank is equally responsible for this loss.

                                  Also I have seen in this consumer forum that many of other customers had also faced the same problem.

                                  Attaching herewith the submitted copy of complaint submitted to the cyber cell department.

                                  Please update me on the status of the same.

                                    Dear ICICI Executive,

                                    My name is Bala Gangadhar Naraharisetty,

                                    In March 2008, I was diagnosed with TB and fell behind on my payments on my ICICI loans. I did have a few credit cards at the time and when I was ill, my parents have settled the loans and credit cards.

                                    Today, I have received calls from the Cell # +[protected] claiming to be a Sub Inspector by name Arun Chowdary from Mumbai and that an arrest warrant has been issued against me for failure to appear before court and I would be arrested tonight (28.12.2012) and presented to court tomorrow (29.12.2012).

                                    He gave me the contact number of an Advocate by name Rahul Bharadwaj ( Contact # +[protected].

                                    When contacted, Rahul Bharadwaj informed me that court summons had been sent to an address (Sai Poorna Guest House) in Madhapur. It is not an address where I had stayed ever.

                                    He read out my current address and has my contact details.

                                    I am trying to understand why were the summons sent to a wrong address when you have my current address and contact details.

                                    I am given a credit card # [protected].

                                    In the past I had received calls from ICICI collections claiming that payment is pending on the card since 2008. Since I did not recognize the card number or the contact details registered for the card, I had requested for the details of purchases and transactions, fully intent on settling the charges the card off in case the purchases were mine.

                                    I had never received any details as on today and today I started receiving the harrassing calls that I have to make a payment of Rs. 29,500 /- within an hour or I will be arrested.

                                    I have also received calls about another card ending with number 0005. I am intending to settling the balances rather than have any legal hassles.

                                    All I requested and still request ICICI Bank is to provide the purchase details, so that I can verify and pay them off if they are indeed my cards.

                                    I did have cards from Barclays, ABN AMRO, Kotak Mahindra and I have not had any problems since the settlement. However ICICI seems to be the only one that is giving me this trouble.

                                    Please provide me the details of the purchases to verify and I will settle the balances ASAP if the charges are mine.

                                    ICICI Credit Card — Harrassment

                                    I Was Issued a Credit Card from ICICI in the Year 2005, and I travelled abroad for Job , before travelling i cleared all the dues, now after 6 years my Mother constantly recive calls and threats from [protected] claiming to be ICICI Loan department using foul language. I received the same when i was in country and they were very rude not ready to tell me the details of bills if any pending, threating police complaints.


                                    I need to know if the above number is genuine and if so why there is no bills or notice for payment default and why the threats and languages.

                                      I went into shock yesterday morning when I realized that my ICICI AMEX Credit Card was fraudulently used in online transaction for over SEK 14300 (Rs 1,20,000) which I have not authorized. They were 5 transactions on websites STRAWBERRYNET.com and www.TOYS R US.SE from 25th December 2012 to 27th December 2012. Most surprising thing is I have not removed that card from my locker since last 1.5 years and definitely nobody has accessed it. I only used that card on ICICI bill pay and once for recharging prepaid mobile that too from ICICI bank website.
                                      Most surprising thing to note is ICICI did not send me email alert for the transactions for first 2 transactions; the first being of largest amount of SEK6095!!!

                                      I have informed ICICI customer care to block the card and raised a dispute charges service request. Hope ICICI do not make me pay for these fradulent charges.

                                        Sub: Fraud done by ICICI bank employee in my account

                                        This is in regard to the fraud done by your employee, Neha, in my account ICICIDirect.com. I had gone to ICICI bank in phase- to get my account updated which was not working properly. Your employee Neha updated the account online. After she updated the account, it still did not work. The password was not working. Then I gave her my account’s password and ID in order to get the account restored. After taking my ID and password she started working from my account without my knowledge. She sold all the shares from my account.

                                        I am an old customer of your bank and as I trust your bank I was not aware of such frauds by your very own employee. As I used to work once in a while from that account so I did not used to check it regularly.

                                        I did not receive any statement ever since I got my account updated by your employee, Neha. She has done a fraud of 70,000 from my account. She has done trainings from my account of Rs 48,780. All the details are attached with this letter. I did not receive any statement about all these transactions as your employee, Neha, had somehow stopped all the statements from reaching.

                                        I came to know about these frauds later when ICICI bank had taken some action against her. She came to my house and told me that if I receive any call from the Bombay bank regarding her then I should just confirm to everything done by myself. She asked me to take the whole blame on me even though the fraud was done by her from my account without my knowledge. At that moment, I went to Chandigarh branch of your bank and got my statements out myself from there. Then I checked all the statements and saw that the frauds as trainings and share transactions were done by her from my own account.

                                        I had just 5 policies. She had done 10 more policies from my account without my knowledge. She took the cheques for these policies by manipulating that a cheque is having some mistake or installments need to be deposited or on the name of my son or daughter and on wife’s name by saying that there needs to be a transfer. As she was your bank’s employee I did not question the bank proceedings. She used these cheques to make new policies without my knowledge. She even stopped the policies and bank papers from reaching my home. The policies never reached me till date in fact.

                                        After enquiring myself, I asked her about the policies. I still did not receive any information about the policies from her. After regularly going to the Chandigarh and Mohali branches of your bank and trying to contact your bank official, Mr. Piyush , who has not given any time to even talk to me about this matter which a very unprofessional and careless attitude as the fraud has been done by your own employee.

                                        I am hopeful you will understand the problems I have been through by your bank and you will return the money I have lost due to this fraud as soon as possible. Otherwise the only option I have is to move to the court or to contact the media regarding this fraud done by the employee of your bank.

                                        ICICI Bank Credit Card — Regarding froudness

                                        This is nagesh Mahindrakar from Kandivali Mumbai, I have done my credi card payment but now credit card people again sending bill as transaction charges but while providing the credit card they told me its absulatly free.
                                        now every month sending new buill to me.
                                        Pls take the action.

                                        ICICI Bank — Bank's denial for credit of Rs 70000 in my account

                                        Rs 70000 was transferred on line to a wrong account in August 2008. When it was noticed that amount hasn't reached to the desired beneficiary, I approached Bank to take corrective action. Bank on my request & further verification, freeze the amount in the wrong beneficiary (Mr Gaurav Grover) account but refused to reverse the same until & unless written debit consent is received from wrong beneficiary.

                                        On continuous follow-up, it emerges that the wrong beneficiary has not used his account since last many months and he has left country for an overseas assignment. It was our great efforts that we could locate him and contact him. We narrated the whole incident. He in the past has sent his consent for reversal of the said amount as this money doesn/t belong to him. But Bank still persists for written consent and even quoted Honorable Supreme Court judgement, which was al all not relevant in present scenerio.
                                        Now Mr Grover has sent his written consent too stating that this amount doesn't belong to him and this amount can be credited to the account from where it has come to his account.ICICI Bank is still not crediting the amount to my account and still holding the money.

                                        I feel it is great injustice & torture on the part of ICICI Bank.
                                        I request to all concern to take up the matter with Bank to release the amount along with interest.

                                        in your company.mr.deepak singh working at etah location as a executive.n he is promoting as a jr.officer.i want to tell u,his all working experience are froud because before dis he is working in own center.and he has shown that he is working in kict computer center as hr exec. n a administrative.but this is his own center.and no salary he got it because his all center is own.and he is showing 07 year exper..but he was working his own center.so his all exper. and salary is froud.i think that is a business not a job in his center.and your company is taking him onroll.and his training is start 03 nov.i[censored] r not satisfied with me.so chek it in etah.clear it.kict center his own or not.icici bank is good bank.but u do not take reaction on it.when your company employee is froud.so i think that is not good.
