Full description of the incident : mr. Vishnuvardhan reddy forced to activate the insurance and later on when i said to activate they said we will add for your wife also and he said we will create duplicate icici bank account and he said he will be giving credit card also but not yet we got any documents, and he said i'm manager over here i will do what ever you want from me.
I just want to cancel this insurance and make sure you will make my payment refund as soon as possible.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I have sent multiple reminders to "[protected]@icicilombard.com" but there is not a single response from ICICI Lombard end.

    This i have sent for the unnecessary two insurance policy attached with my home loan amount due to which approx Rs. 150000 added to my loan value

    I understand that as per the terms and conditions of the policy contract, I can avail freelook cancellation of within 15 days of the receipt of the policy contract . So, I want to submit my documents which was received on 8-Jan-2018 to my home address.

    Can we escalate the case so ICICI Lombard atleast respond to customer queries or complaints ?

      With reference to to my policy number 4129/[protected]/00/000, i have applied fro travel claim due to cancellation of my flights due to volcanic eruption in bali. I bought this insurance way before the news of volcanic eruption. I have taken the confirmation from there team that they will cover the volcanic eruption. Now after submitting all the papers they are saying that claim cannot be processed because they do not cover volcanic eruption they only cover earthquake, storm, terrorist activity, cyclone, flood etc, they are just playing with words. Worst csutomer service ever. They knew from the first day that we are applying for claim arising due to volcanic eruption however they took good 30 days to mail back that they cannot process the same because they do not cover this. They are just looting the customers with wrong commitments. I already have 6 policies from icici lombard, i am going to cancell all, you never know when they can ditch you again. Will never recommed anyone. Worst service..

        Respected forum,

        I wanted to inform you that we have taken a insurance cover for icici lombard from lats 12 years with insurance charge of 50, 000 per year for my parents and in 12 years we have just claimed twice for medical treatment. Now my mother was hospitalized for psychiatric treatment and bill of hospital for 5 days was 54, 000 and we got a initial approval of 10, 000 and when we where taking the discharge the insurance company rejected the claim and told not an single amount will be paid as per clause.

        My question is why did they provide the initial approval without mentioning that the bill may get rejected.

        We have been taking the insurance cover from last 12 years and have paid 7 lack to icici for cover and cant they cover the hospitalization bill for 80, 000 approx.

        They should have rejected the claim at first time itself but they said initial approval is done and now nothing has approved so we have paid the bill personally.

        This a loss to us in spite of paying yearly insurance and it has caused us a lot of inconvenience who is responsible for this we who pay the insurance timely?

                My trip is delayed by 24 hours due to operational requirement of airasia & that airline provided us accomodation & food that time. (We are vegan & not consum that food)

                Our actual loss is vehical hired to pickup mumbai to home. Which we had paid twice also we face loss of income, planing & sheduling as will as mental harishment. We have submited traval company bill with claim documents plus our it returnes.

                We feeling that icici lombard fraudulently reject our claim.

                Because they sended number of emails for documentation & every document having no such clarification that we not face the loss.

                Obiously we loss our rs. 23000+- in hired vehical which vehical pickup us from airport to home but our flight is 24 hours delay situation.
                So we must to pay it twice & in bonus we face harrishment after we allready having insurance for our trip.
                In every rejection emails their is loop to unclarify my actual situation.

                Their language or wording is nothing but a snare.

                    I Angshuman Dutta, working in "Core Integra Consulting PVT LTD" My employee code:- 10520.

                    I have hospitalized 2 times at AMRI salt lake, Kolkata dated 1st time on 31st Aug 2017, 15th Sep 2017.

                    I have already paid to the hospital but I asked for reimburse to ICICI-Lombard my corporate policy.

                    They deducted all amount which is mentioned below.

                    The details you have asked for is mentioned below.

                    As I informed you earlier below mail also mentioned another time.
                    I have submit all medical related bill. Though some amount have deducted.

                    1) 10% copay for submission of claim with in this days, Is there any clause in IRDA ? If the please send me in mail.

                    2) 3420 rupees deducted as EEG.glucometer report is not furnished. ALL DOCUMENT I HAVE SEND BY HARD COPY TO REFERENCE ADDRESS.
                    It is your responsibility to search and find out the paper and reimbursement the claim.

                    3) 7260 rupees deducted as deducted proportionate deduction.
                    Explain how many way you have deducted by room rent capping?

                    4) 6000 rupees once you deducted as room cap in 1st point.
                    Another 3850 deducted as room cap.

                    5) All MRD document I have send by courier to your reference address. Please find the hard copy of MRD record or MRD dept of AMRI hospital salt lake, KOLKATA.

                    6)The amount of ambulance bill and pre and post hospitalization medical test bill is not added with total amount till now.

                    Please note, The UHID no is IL[protected] as per claim form.

                    Please added the (ambulance bill and pre and post hospitalization medical test bill ) the all amount with total amount.

                    We have reviewed your claim with our senior claims official and would like to inform you that as per the policy you are eligible for Rs.1500 per Day (Inclusive of Nursing charges).

                    Total Hospitalization is for 5 days(i.e.) you are eligible for RS, .7500, but as per the final bill room rent was charged for RS.40000.

                    Proportional deductions=Eligible/availed=7500/40000=0.1875(Appx)

                    Hence, we have applied this proportion on the total final bill except medicines and consumables.

                    Please note that as per policy terms and conditions in the event of the insured getting admitted in a category higher than the room rent cap, then the insured will bear the difference of all the medical expenses as in the final hospital bill in the same proportion.

                      I have taken online car insurance from icici lombard and on the same day its inspection rejected, but i have already paid amount 6156/- on 19-dec-2017.

                      Still my amount were not refunded yet, as today is 02-jan-2018. Its really frustrating. As per icici lombard policy rule they were refunded amount within 7 working days and till now its not refunded.

                      Very bad company and very bad management.

                      Please let me know when my amount refunded. I want my money with interest too, as they were delayed and my other work were stop due to this.

                        I have hospitalized 2 times at amri salt lake, kolkata dated 1st time on 31st aug 2017, 15th sep 2017.

                        I have already paid to the hospital but i asked for reimburse to icici-lombard my corporate policy.

                        They deducted all amount which is mentioned below.
                        As i informed you earlier below mail also mentioned another time.
                        I have submit all medical related bill. Though some amount have deducted.

                        1) 10% copay for submission of claim with in this days, is there any clause in irda? If the please send me in mail.

                        2) 3420 rupees deducted as eeg. Glucometer report is not furnished. All document i have send by hard copy to reference address.
                        It is your responsibility to search and find out the paper and reimbursement the claim.

                        3) 7260 rupees deducted as deducted proportionate deduction.
                        Explain how many way you have deducted by room rent capping?

                        4) 6000 rupees once you deducted as room cap in 1st point.
                        Another 3850 deducted as room cap.

                        5) all mrd document i have send by courier to your reference address. Please find the hard copy of mrd record or mrd dept of amri hospital salt lake, kolkata.

                        6) the amount of ambulance bill and pre and post hospitalization medical test bill is not added with total amount till now.

But it belongs to ur company because u deducted the amount of pmfby from my kcc limit account. As discuss many times to ur official it doesn't give any response always says in process in process.                                 Monika bajaj got admitted for the first time with multiple vomittings (Around 10 times) and multiple loose motions (Around 10 tiimes) in the time duration of 10 am to 2pm on 22/12/2017 at home with lot of weakness and unable to walk, being an emergency case, we approached emergency deptt of psri hospital, and after an observation of 1 hour, dr manish mohil recommended admission and we go on with the formalities. Being a 7yr old policy of icici lombard, we were sure that we will get good treatment and hassle free approval
                                But we felt so disappointed that our approval got rejected even after more than 24 hours of hospitalisation.
                                After speaking with customer care executive, i was given a complaint no.[protected], but didnt get any reply

                                What is the use of paying premium if we will not be able to get emergency treatment,

                                Im attaching the document which proves that its a more than 24 hour hospitalisation.

                                Icici lombard surveyor came to see the case, and get our written consent that we didnt showed in opd and came directly in emergency, i just want to ask, if the need is of emergency, then whether we should go for opd, her health was so deteriorating and at particular moment, only after doctor advise, we took admission, as cmo at that moment dr maheshwar lal, said that she is not getting reliefed and its better to go for some test and we have gone with their recommendations

                                Its really trust breaking, as after getting bill from billing deptt at around 5:30 pm and after processing documents, their was harassment of more than 3.5 hours, and finally, we have to pay the bill without any proper justification

                                Pls dont break the trust o[censored]s people as we have two policies are running with icici from 2010 yr, and now we are confused that what to do if some emergency situation comes.

                                Pls give me a suitable reply

                                  Sir, with reference to above subject my health policy no. 4128/ih/87728448, which was taken in year 2014, till oct 2017; i didn’t availed any benefit (No claim, no health check-up) and in nov 17, i asked for post policy health checkup, for which i was send to suburban diagnostic center in thane maharashtra, despite i requested for bethany hospital thane.

                                  I had submitted for a two wheeler insurance claim (Intimated - 23 sep 17, claim no - mot[protected] for which i have been assigned a surveyor named mr. Nirmal (Mob no - [protected]).

                                  The surveyor was too rude on call and was not ready to clarify any of my questions. This person called me for an initial discussion with an approved amount which was way lesser than the claim amount expected, so i asked him a detailed split up for which he mentioned that he shall get back to me and one fine day i get a message from icici that my claim has been settled for rs 3067 rs (Out of the total claim amount 6037 rs). The claim is settled with lesser amount approved even before collecting the complete set of required documents (Though i had asked him not to close along with the asked detailed split up). The gst amount which i had paid to the tvs company was not approved because of some billing format issue. When i requested the surveyor to reopen the request, he denied.

                                  For this i had to call icici lombard customer care and place grievance complaint (Dated - 31 oct 2017, complaint reference number - [protected] and [protected]), during which i am asked to contact this surveyor's manager mr. Sudendar (Mob no - [protected]). This person asked for a revised bill and i have submitted the revised bill in the requested format by 17 nov 2017, after which he told me to wait for my claim to be reopened and processed. I am following up with this manager since then, and he is keeping on dragging the situation. He did mentioned that he shall get me an update on this by today 12 dec 2017, but no more picking my calls or responding to my messages.

                                  I am fed up of this and need some assistance in getting the balance claim amount (Gst amount) of total of 1139.38 rs.

                                    I have been calling multiple times and everytime i am listening different things like,

                                      I have purchased insurance policy for my two wheeler (Policy no. 3005/w67022785/00/000).
                                      As per policy document, the premium to be paid was rs. 1562 but the amount charged from me was rs. 1947 which was made through my credit card. The customer care executive sold me another personal insurance policy with required motor insurance policy without my consent.
                                      I didn't want to buy any personal insurance policy as i already have term plan. Icici executive has cheated me u can also hear the recording /conversation between customer care executive and me where this hidden additional policy and charges were not told to me. Pls cancel my personal insurance policy and revert my money.
