[Resolved] Icici Lombard — Name change in policy

The worthless cheater i do not understand how irda is giving licence to such company only to harass the public and loot the money i have send to the greivence redressal cell consumer court and pm office. My son has taken ktm duke vehicle from a third party and has changed the name his name in the certificate of registration. The insurance was taken fo rthe vehicle by last owner east roadways pvt ltd vide policy no: 3005/w[protected]/00/000 valid till april 2017. The vehcile had met with an accident. I had contacted the customer support services of icici lombard on 21st september 2016 and sent a mail also. They have categorically tol dthat and given me a complaint no and asked me to leave the vehicle to the authorised service centr i had followed teir instruction and parked the vehicle for repair. The surveyor had come and inspected the vehcile. The service centre had informed that i have to the policy changed to the name of s nikhil. After 7 days the customer support of lombard called me and asked to send only cheque for rs 83/-in favour of them and courier to their malad office, which i have done on 27th and received by them o8th at 5.17 pm.in spite of innumerable calls mails etc, the cheater company has never changed the name in spite of getting the amount credited to their account the service centre has charged me the parking charges for all these days i have no other option but to get service done of the vehicle and i paid rs 4980-/- due o the entire irresponsibility of icici lombard i had to pay this money to the service eof the vehcile them why i need insurance. I had sent to them the copy of cc, address proof, vehicle purchase proof policy etc they were so careless and harassed me whatever extend they can if this posting dies not help me i shall lodge a complain again the consumer small cause court and tarnish the image of icici lombard.
