I'm inclined to write this complaint to vent out all the pain after investing in this ICICI wealth builder plan which started in the year 2014. Myself and my mother was basically cheated by this person named Purushottaman in ICICI bank Srirangam Branch who said this is a traditional policy and the amount invested is guaranteed and 100% safe. At that time, we believed him and bought this policy. Only after two years, we came to know that this is market oriented policy. Immediately, me and my mother went to ICICI prudential Trichy cantonment branch to close with whatever loss was there at that time. But, the representative didn't let us close it and said minimum 5 years to close it and brushed us aside. After that ICICI assigned me a mentor named Prabha and that person visited me at my office and he said you were not getting returns because you haven't switched your funds from time to time. I asked him, isn't that the job of fund managers.? He said, I'll have to switch and take care as well. I was a poor judger of the Market and tried to switch funds and everytime I switched the market turns the opposite and resulted in bigger losses. Then the mentor tried to sell me another policy by getting this amount from Maximiser V and he showed some screenshots of some other customer policy and said I will get best returns. I had enough of it and neglected that. On this market fall which happened on March 23, I was so scared and swapped my funds to income fund and from there on started lots of depression, pain of loosing my hard earned money. Till now my family is facing lots of pain and pressure. Some people in ICICI try to fake things to innocent people just to achieve their target. I request you to please help me out in this regard.
Please note I have tried to communicate with ICICI prudential and have raised multiple grievances but all in vain. Even now Guruprit Marhawa says even couldn't help in anyway and I feel totally cheated and all my family members are so depressed. Requesting you to help in any possibile way.
The second grievance redressal officer named Nilam Mohkar. Because of the targets set to sales employees, customer gets cheated and he regrets for the rest of his life. Just think if you had fallen prey to what me and family had fallen in!
Please help the cheated customers who are in distress.

    Iam kotti satish who has taken policy name - icici pru assured savings insurance plan on 7th October and till now Application is not submitted properly.
    I stay in hyderabad and because of Corona I cannot come to vijayawada for any document submission. Please let me know what documents I need to send so that i can send th scanned copies to your email . Its 2 weeks with no policy generated . I believe this not the way any organization should work. Please find the attached pan for your reference.

        I am an nri and went to india for a visit. I wanted to invest money in a fixed deposit. I went to karvenagar pune branch of icici and wanted to open a fixed deposit so that my parents in india can withdraw when deposit matures.

        Two icici agents named - vatsal bhatt /rclg/ibank/pne; kshity munde /rclg/ibank/pn showed up at my apartment and told me that there are some really good investment options. They told me that i can get really good returns on my fixed deposit.

        What i realized was that they were trying to sell me an insurance policy from icici. When i resisted, they told me that the the policy is only for 3 years and after that i can withdraw. First they tried to get a premium of 4 lakhs per year. I resisted and brought down the premium to 2.5 lakhs. They told me that average returns from the policy are 15%
        Later it turned out that the insurance policy had a locking period of 5 years. They invested my money in a fund called maximiser v.
        I have paid three preimiums so far and my investment of 7.5 lakhs is now reduced to 6.45 lakhs. The policy lost money from the beginining.

        I stopped paying the premiums as i am sure that my money will be lost. I am quite desperate to withdraw my investment so far.

        Whenever i complained to icici prudential to reduce the preimum or locking period, they did not respond for atleast 3 weeks. After 3 weeks they never answered my questions but told me that i have signed the agreements and they will not help me.

        A good organization always looks out for its customers and never traps them. A good company tries to make money for its customers and never makes them suffer. Business ethics of icici prudential are deplorable.

          I had paid policy premium for 4 years and with menial returns on the icici elite policy decided to surrender and get my monies back as soon as possible. I visited the icici branch and they lied surrender is not possible as per rules and only option is to not pay the next term, post which the fund value will be moved to a discontinuation fund and money transferred to my account after an year. They removed the ecs facility at the branch advising me not to pay the next term.

          The next year meaning now when i see the timing of fund movement to discontinuance fund and value, it was very suspicious. I read the policy document having doubts on the service provided to me by icici. To my surprise there was a specific surrender clause that did have facility to move my money to dp fund on that day. I raised multiple grievances at icici facility post which i received multiple calls from branch people and grievance officers who reiterated the same lie that missing payment was the only option available last year.

          After i copy pasted the clause from the policy document the latest answer i get is they can proceed only if i give the date time or name of the person who lied to me 1 year before.

          I told multiple times on the phone that the date they removed ecs can be used to find the date i visited the office and the issue was not with the person, but consistent training given by icici which was the reason right from the person at that time to the most recent icici grievance redressal officer reiterating the same lie over phone amd verbally and not providing anything on those lines in writing when asked for. I had asked the same 1 year before and i was denied then too..

          I feel cheated, stressed and stupid for having trusted them with my money in the first place and every time the grievance redressal officer was just making sure they are duping customers that cannot be beaten legally.

          They have cheated me of 30%of my hard earned money and are acting proud on the same.

          I am sure if any person visits any of their centre regarding surrender would be lied to that surrender is not possible, but defaulting payment is. This is not an employee problem, but company training and policy as all folks from the branch manager to customer service to grievance officer reiterated the same lie consistently until i sent across the policy document statement extract contradicting the same.

            Multiple calls on telephone no. [protected] and mail at [protected]@iciciprulife.com is non responsive so far i am being informed technical issue and not responding to my several requests in this regard.

            The tall claim of icici prudential that claim settlement ratio is 98% is a misnomer. My policy no. 14483216 matured on 7.9.2020. Money not credited to my account as at 9.9.2020.
            Please help and reform icici prudential life insurance.

              Having been a customer of icici prudential life for about 8 years, i have noticed that he service is very bad. Once a policy is enrolled for, by any customer, there is no response from icici prud. Life insurance. Probably due to sharp criticism by customers or other feedback, we have been lately getting calls once or twice in a year (The last one we got was about 9 months ago) mentioning service manager would visit our place, to brief about the policies.

              The sad part is you never get calls as informed. Secondly, there is hardly any guidance that they would give us, as we understand.

              Mere formalities such as these would not help, if there is no real intention in helping the customer.

                This policy was taken under mis guidance by ICICI staff as insurance & investment policy which later was found as ULIP. We have written and called the bank on same day of application - Aug 19 for cancellation and refund. No action has been taken and we are still kept in dark allowing 15 days wet period to go. Please assist, this is sheer online cheating done by ICICI prudential to consumers taking away their hard earned money.

                  even there was ECS INSTRUCTIONS ON 1ST AUGUST 2020 THE MONEY GOT DEDUCTED WITHOUT MY CONSENT TODAY. REVERT IT BACK TO MY BANK ACCOUNT. COMPALINT WILL BE FILLED TO SEBI AS WELL.

                    My account has debited Rs 590 with the mentioned remarks NACH_AD_RTN_CHRG~IPRULI~13JUL20~cbb3779~. My due date is 13th July, so I made funds available on 6th July and paid on 12th July. Though I paid on time i am not sure why I have been penalized. During this pandemic its really a challenge to pay premiums itself on top of these imposing fines is really a hard hit for me. Could you please look in to this and waive off the fines

                        I've been receiving calls from someone claiming to be working under icici prudential life insurance. And states that my father (who is no more with us)purchased a policy on my name and that he submitted the first installment of 50000 in 2012. But failed to follow up and so-called policy was scheduled to mature in 2020.
                        Now either I can pay 50000 for one time settlement or I can continue the plan by paying some fine.

                        Premium for polcy no 21279983 was paid on 10 aug 2020. You have sent me premium paid certificate for policy no 18920487 on 11aug similar certificate has been sent today also.
                        However certificate for the policy for which premium was paid has still not been received. Are you trying to confuse me you are confused, i have not understood.
                        Please send the correct certificate at the earliest.
                        You need to sort out your system.

                              I have been a resident in the united kingdom for past 50 years. Recently i chose to surrender one of my policies, number 19202721, held with yourself and subsequently submitted all the relevant documents such as copies my passport and cheque book to the relevant department as requested, on the 15th june 2020. Upon enquiring on the progress of the matter and also to confirm that the documents i had provided were correct, i was shocked to receive your email on the 2nd july 2020 informing me that the surrendered value amount, 19536321.11 lakhs rupees, had already been transferred to one of my bank accounts.

                              I would like to point out that i was neither asked to provide the account details to which the money should be transferred, nor did i authorise the transfer to be made to this account. I have made 6 premium payments worth of 24 lakhs rupees via my nre account and therefore the policy was processed under nre status.

                              I find this extremely unacceptable and frustrating and i ask that you resolve this matter immediately. I presume that the most sensible solution is for the funds in question to be transferred to you and for you then to transfer them to an account which i have authorised. Please advise on how this should be affected.

                                Hi sir, i had taken a housing loan from bajaj housing finance and they have deducted 130000 rs, without my consent. Later when asked they say it can be undone again. They told me at the time of foreclosure of loan it would be refunded. But unexpectedly due to this corona we are not able to do any business and we are incurring total loss, i would really happy if i get the insurance cancelled and get the amount i received the insurance loan...

                                Dear team,
                                I requested icici bank to get me a life insurance policy only if i'm eligible to get this policy. After team a confirmation from underwriter of icicipru, i submitted the documents. Here i repeated asked ms shubhangi about the issuance of the policy, on this she said she has already spoken to her boss mr. Deepak pareek hence you are eligible to this plan. I applied for this policy starting of the march which before this panoramic and now i came to know that policy has rejected.in fact 1st time they rejected for no valid reason bcz medical was ok, when i insisted for the reason, i came to know that it was rejected due wrong details put by the icici pru staff. So after this they refunded my amount to my cc bcz i made payment from icici bank cc for which i'm paying interest, emi conversion charges and now when i will cancel emi on cc again icici bank will charge me. I had told ms. Shubhangi that il be making payment payment thru cc so if you can't issue me a policy, let me know now only, i don't want to pay charges on cc. After the refund, ms. Shubhangi was behind me to make another payment which i made immediately. Again after making a payment i had to continuously do the follow up with ms. Shubhangi and after one month of religious follow up (Which was tremendous pain) i came to know that policy is rejected for the reason "plan not available". From all of this i came to know :
                                1. Staff does not have adequate knowledge.
                                2. Just to release temporary target pressure, they give false commitment to customers. By login same customer policy they can show it as double business.
                                3. Staff is not bothered about the customers money.
                                4. Icici pru is using customers money, earning interest on it and then rejecting policies.
                                5. Im sure they are using forge documents too issue policies hence i want you to investigate the documents they submitted for my policy.
                                6. I want charge reversal on all my charges of cc levied while purchasing this policy.
                                7. Apology letter for this pathetic service and harassment bcz now if i approach some other company they will ask me if any if any policy is rejected hence chances of getting another policy is impossible. If they would have told before applying, i would have approach some other company. Icici prudential has wasted my time, money and energy.
                                8. I would also be requesting irda to remove licenses from. Such employees who do not have basic knowledge of policy plans and selling insurance. They should atleast hace basic knowledge before applying for policies. Although i know this is a scam and strategy to reduce sales target pressure and use customers money.
                                I would request you please investigate in this.

                                  We approached the nearer Icici branch to open Fd . But the BM and others forced to take Icici prudential elite policy 23727147.

                                  Since due to our medical expenses and financial crisis, asking them to refund our investments, I have sent mail to BM of nearest Icici and spoke to prudential person .

                                  Since our investment is huge and we need our money back for our medical expenses, he asking proof for each and everything . If anything accidentally happens., then we are the loser . They are emotionally locking us to continue and no further response after several mails . Initially they told we can take our money in urgent basis and the amount will be doubled after 5 years . But so far there is no progress also . They are not even caring our financial crisis and our medical issues . We are not asking for any claim . We are asking our only investment as there is no other go .

                                  We need justice on this and we need our only investment back as now no income at this critical stage . People are very cruel and very irresponsible . At any cost we need our money and if not they have to bear total cost of our loses . Seeking somebodies advice and help in this regard we want your intervention and
                                  Look in to this matter urgently as no one giving proper response except forcing us to continue and emotionally loving us

                                  I have to move forward with my mothers Medical expenses. So far not getting any favorable reply and when we are not having no source on income, we are not getting refund and unable to admit my mother also for her treatment
