I have Paid premium of my policy No. 07015278 for Rs.25000.00 ( Twenty five thousand) through SBI Debit card through Transaction No.362110 on purchase POS [protected] dt.10/01/2017 through ICICI prulife Ins. following the directions mentioned. My bank has paid ICICI Prulife Ins & sent us the transaction details on the mobile.Till date waiting for the premium Receipt which is pending. Kindly send the receipt of my premium paid .

      I had applied for Term insurance with ICICI and my application number is PA49753788. I have received a request from ICICI for increase in premium from INR 16692/- to INR 23701/- (increase of INR 7009/-). The reason stated in the communication from ICICI is that based on my medicals done by them I am OVERWEIGHT. Being a Health and Safety professional, I am well aware of BMI calculations and am in no way deemed overweight by any medical agency across the world.

      My stats are:
      Weight 65 Kgs. (As observed by the medical technician during the checkup)
      Height : 5feet 6inch

      However, they are still asking for the higher premium.

        Hi, I applied online life insurance policy in ICICI prulife, It has cancellation policy within 15 days, after i paid amount my USA credit card 17500 INR / $255.
        I went to branch office at V.V nagar ANAND Gujarat, And i met manager (Garauv[protected], And by mistake He cancel my policy. ICICI refund me only $205.56 in my US credit card account. It was not my mistake.
        My question is how can i get back $50 from ICICI, I request to branch officer but they are not ready pay me back.

        Can you help me please.

          I purchased two smart life policies in Aug 2015 for total sum of 300000/-, at the time purchasing these policies i was not briefed about the hidden charges and also it is pertinent to mention that the company deliberately sent me the policy bonds well after one month return period so that i could not avail that facility. Now, since i find my wealth is not making any progress stopped paying the premium for present year, my policy has been lapsed and the money has gone to discontinued fund. I have been accrued the loses to the tune of Rs 55, 000/-. I am an Ex-servicemen living on pension hence i am unable to live with the burden of these losses. May i get some help on the following matter.

                My dad had recently visited nearest icici branch to create an FD. While processing this request, bank employee made him met with a Marketing agent of ICICI Pru Life insurance for an alternative investment scheme.

                The Marketing agent explained most of the benefits to dad but did not communicate any of the yearly fixed expense he would be incurring if he choose this investment scheme.

                To our surprise, when we received our original policy document we came to know that out of Rs 3lacks which we have paid Rs17000 has been deducted as expense and the balance i.e Rs 2, 83, 000 has been invested in mutual fund.

                Also my dad was being told that the free look up period will be 1 year where as in reality it is 15 days from the date of receipt of policy.

                The whole fraud is on account of false representation by the marketing agent who did not disclose the expense. Had that expense been disclosed to us at that point of time, we would have definitely not taken the policy.

                You can cancel the policy in free-look period of 15 days from receiving the policy documents. Sorry to comment this now but I read this today.

                I was also sold a policy falsely on Dec 22. It was ICICI Pru Elite Wealth II. Even I was not told about any of the charges and neither about free-look period. I think it is ICICI Pru's deliberate scam that no customer will be told about the charges and these sick policies will be sold falsely by hiding charges.

                But thanks to IRDAI for being a regulator. They had to provide 15 days free look period. Thankfully I canceled the policy and got my refund. Wish you could get your refund too. Sorry to hear about your incident.

                Note: Beware of bank employees, they don't think of your benefits. They only think of their commissions and foreign trips. If you want to invest your money, ask some investment advisors. Or search on internet.

                  On my recent visit to india i was advised to invest in an icici ulip policy and was explained all the benefits but was never given the details of the hidden charges of investing such as premium allocation charge, mortality charge etc. I discovered these charges when i receive my policy document and first premieu receipt. Since there was a 15-day cooling period where i had the option to cancel the policy i got in touch with the customer service email [protected]@icicipru.com asking them to either cancel the policy or at least let me know how to cancel it. However after multiple reminders and a week later no response or acknowledgement was sent by icici pru.

                    Sir/madam,
                    Today like many other days, i had received a phone call from icici telecalling regarding a previously cancelled policy some time ago i had already had prolonged discussion regarding it and even waited for an agent who never turned up.
                    Anyway, i was unwell and trying to sleep when i was disturbed by the phone call from icici regarding the same policy and its methods, so i had strongly suggested to stop calling me regarding the same issue as it has been discussed repeatedly.
                    To my utter surprise, i was called by the same girl from a personal number and slang language was used for not being "polite and decent enough". Another call came in and more obscene language was used, in the filthiest form, unthinkable that a company like icici can employ personnel with this kind of creed and education.

                      I surrendered my policy no 16234222 dt 23.12.2011 on 28 .12 16 at sector 8 office

                      on 29 dec ur coustomer care lady rang me up & informed me that if Iwant to save income tax of one lakh I should invest rs 80, 000/= in Reliance life insurance .I was surprised

                      Same evening 2 girls from Reliance came to my house .Ienquired where about of ICICI rep .They said ICICI rep has authorized to fill the form on behalf of Reliance.

                      To me this was very strange & smacked o[censored]nfair trade practices by ICICI employ.Hence the complaint

                        Cancellation of policy in Free Look Period, Policy No :20489486

                        Respected Sir,

                        I Vandana Khemka, Resident of 1296, Sec 14 Faridabad. I purchased a Life Insurance policy with Icici Prudential Life Insurance Co. Ltd on my name, bearing Policy no : 20489486. Premium of this policy was Rs. 3 Lacs/ anum . I purchased this policy against my amount due from ICICI but as i got the policy document it is not as per my expectations, I have immediately connected the agent and discuss the same he told ok we will talk again for it after four days when I have not got any confirmation from the agent i again called n asked for cancellation then he told to submit the policy document, I on the same time sent the policy to the bank then the concerned authorities said now the time for free look is over and we cannot do anything about it.
                        I was shocked to hear that the free look period is over but as per me the last date has to be 28th as I have received the policy on 12th of Dec and hence considering 15days free look time the last day has to be 28th.

                        Considering above reason, I fail to understand that where am I at the fault when I made call to the agent informing him that i m not interested in keeping the policy

                        I hope with this clarification, the picture should be very clear to you and It will be easy for you to understand my situation. My only request to you is that I should not suffer for unnecessary reason where in there is no fault of mine.

                        So, please look into this matter and give me the justice.

                            Here goes my complaint:

                            - i have got an insurance policy from icici prudential (Policy number:[protected], with the condition that i have to pay the first 3 premiums (In my case an annual premium amounting to inr 26000). I paid the first 2 premiums and then in the year 2013, i had traveled abroad, and unfortunately lost the policy documents.

                            - in the meantime, i had moved from mysore (Where my policy was initiated) to kolkata and also opened a savings account in the icici parnasree branch, where the branch representative, ms. Reema nadeem, promised me to close my savings account in mysore, and correspondingly promised me to change all my communication details pertaining to both the account and the insurance policy in the database.

                            - also, since i had lost all the details about the policy, i requested my base branch to retrieve my details and give me the policy details so that i can pay the premium amount for the 3rd year. To my utter disgust, everybody, especially ms. Nadeem, ms. Roushan (From icici pru) from the icici bank parnasree branch, always took my details and promised to get back to me, which they would invariably forget.

                            - i have moved abroad since 2013. Since then i have been coming to kolkata every year once a month and had been visiting the branches to get the details in order to pay the premium and continue my policy. Icici branch in parnasree again either noted my details and never came back, or they redirected me to another branch in park street, kolkata. None of them ever redirected me to the icici prudential office in kolkata.

                            - i have been harassed from the last 3 years, and now due to negligence on your part, my policy has lapsed and my money is forfeited. I am in kolkata again and running pillar to post to retrieve my policy. However, the icici pru branch in kolkata has asked me to lodge a complaint with you and that it can only be done from your end. It has been only this time that someone from my branch has asked me to contact the correct office and the personnel. As a customer, i trusted them to resolve my issue for the last 3 years, and they did not even care to take care of my requirements. And the end result is, i have lost my money because of negligence on your part.

                            - i was informed by your customer service personnel on nov 18, 2016, that my policy was foreclosed and the cheque with the surrender amount, a meager sum of approx 11, 000 inr was sent to my previous address in mysore, whereas i had given all my updated contact details to the parnasree branch during the time of opening the savings account there and asked them to change my details. Unfortunately, ms. Reema nadeem and her colleagues never cared to take care of my requirement. None of them could ever retrieve my policy details as well.

                            - my questions are:

                            1. Why should i suffer, both mentally, physically and economically due to negligence on the part of your employees?

                            2. Why was there no email sent to me as a reminder before foreclosure of my policy, when the sent cheque was returned? In case there was such an email sent, please do send me a copy. This is clearly against the guidelines of the irda and the rbi and this also violates my right to information. Or was this done to deliberately forfeit my investment and increase your turnover (Considering similar treatment meted out to thousands of other clients).

                            3. Why did no one from icici get back to me when i repeatedly visited their branches requesting for the details in order to pay and continue the policy?

                            4. Why was my contact details not updated in your database inspite of me giving your representatives my contact details several times?

                            My further points:

                            1. I would like to ask you to restore my policy and allow me to continue with policy by paying the rest of the premiums, without any pre-set conditions, since this is a gross negligence on your part. I am ready to pay all the remaining premiums and continue with it.

                            2. I would like to receive a communication from your end asap and would like to resolve everything before i leave india on 09.01.2017.

                            3. I would like you to take necessary action against the employees, especially the ones from parnasree branch (Including your representatives from icici pru), who were involved in this gross negligence, resulting in my suffering and apparent loss.

                            Would appreciate a quick and pro-active response.

                            I have been tweeting (Dipishere1 twitter handle) and posting my grievances in facebook and other online portals, including quite a popular blog that i manage. Would also like to mention that i would not hesitate to post about your horrible service and ill-intentions of forfeiting people's hard-earned money in all possible social media platforms.

                            Unfortunately most of the people in india can not properly use social media to lodge their grievances, and i do not know how they would feel or do with this kind of service.

                              I went to do fixed deposit the managers canvassed me into investing in prudential wealth builder policy then looted the whole money . Infact after investing only i know its wealth builder to insurance company to customer its wealth looter. Even a bank deposit of fixed deposit was a 100 times better investment did a big mistake . So friends dont ever believe this private insurance companies .The tell lot of things in air but in the end nothing will work. They will lock the money and you will go no where Pay or die is the policy after u get locked. In the end they will rip off all the money u paid.

                              Fixed deposit and postal NSC is best investments in the country.

                              my policy number is 18350725 . All the activities done by icici bank is deliberate activity to loot the customer money and they invest them in some markets tell customer its losing then after the period return back the amount deposited or deduct all money by the customer its the ploy by them to loot the customer at will . The policy is named wealth builder Plan its not wealth looter for customer but wealth builder for the icici bank. I am writing this not to get some solution since I got no solution above all they told u had grace period 10 days when u could come out of this policy but reality customer don't know abt this then they promise u all as heaven once u enroll ur cheated all the money will be eaten up and not interest and nothing will be given.
                              I am now locked for 5 yrs now I am forcing them into discontinued fund by deleting the SI from the account to insurer. Any one those who invested will get reply it has beaten the records, stay invested long term but don't believe this this is the techniques used by them to get money from u and they invest in their business of housing loans like that then show you that everything is lost online in investing in unit making gimmicks to customer.
                              Once ur invested in this gone case u cannot return from this policy. Forget about the money. Don't continue investing based on their mails like stay invested its long term benefit like that its all said to escape current situation in reality they want to suck all the money and interest out from you. There are lot of guy paid to type the mails like stay invested, long term product, it has beaten all records like that but they [censored] and fart at the customers once u have enrolled. Whenever customer ask them questions they will give the same replies as above to escape from customer current situation.
                              Fraud company icici bank want to loot the customer money so they deviced a plan like this whoever comes to do fd they divert them into this fraud policies and loot them once they entered then they are lost in this looting scheme by the bank guys.

                                  I went to ICICI prudential life insurance branch Anna Nagar on 24/08/2016.
                                  I have done the ECS formalities. And I received a message regarding the due payment. I again went for the re-conformation of the due payment. I met Mr.Paul (representative clerk ) date 09/12/2016 at 4.10 pm and got to know that your system was out of service. So, he assured to collect the cheque and other documents regarding the ECS at our doorstep. Since I had no response even after making call ([protected] and [protected]). I reminded him on 10/12/2016 at 9.20am . He replied assuring me of collecting the cheque by 7.00pm on the same day. I called him thrice on 11/12/2016 but he had not turned up yet.
                                  As i am not happy with your sense of responsibility, I want to withdraw the policies as soon as possible .

                                      I am having ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Policy .Wanted to surrender the same in June'2016.Visited nearest branch of ICICI Prudential at Bhubaneswar, Odisha ( Opposite of Fire Station Square ) and handed over all required papers including cancel cheque with a request to process the same at the earliest.

                                      Branch In Charge asked me about the reason of surrender. When he came to know that I need the amount for construction of my house, he suggested me to avail the loan against that policy and keep the policy as is.
                                      Accepted his suggestion and opted for loan. While discussing they confirmed that they will intimate me while it is granted and I will collect from them. I had also requested them not to send any document to the address mention in the policy because I have left that place since long.

                                      After 02 months when I could not get the money, again I visited the branch and enquired. From their I could be able to know that all those papers were sent to my old address.
                                      Then I decided to not to avail the loan and asked for surrender option. I was told to come after 10 days. When visited I was told to submit the application to return my policy bond and surrender. I was given time up to 18th Oct'16. After 18th Oct'16, I was told that the bond was sent from Mumbai Office to my old address. Again I went to that location and enquired at post office. Came to know from the post master that they have not received any policy in my name. Again as suggest by your team I went to ICICI main branch submitted required forms on 2nd Dec'16 was assured that problem will be resolved within next 4/5 days. But unfortunately it is not resolved and I am just running to your branch and ICICI main branch at BBSR.

                                      Need help to settle the issue so that I can get my dues immediately. Was assured to get the refund within 18th October and is already 52 days delayed.
