Below is complaint I also informed to IRDA ============================================= This complaint is about ICICI Prudential policy 1460053 which was in principle discussed to me by ICICI Prudential agent in ICICI Bank Branch Wardha, Maharashtra around 4th November 2010 in the presence of then Branch Manager, Hrushikesh Sakalkale. The cheque of 5 lakhs Rs. was taken on same day on basis of this false promises The FALSE commitments made by the agent to ensure sales happen without hurdles were as below 1) The policy will have lock in of 1 year and can be withdrawn if not earning as discussed 2) The terms and conditions of policy will be mentioned in detail in policy document 3) Policy has free look period of 15 days for rejection. It starts after Receipt of policy document physically 4) The policy will be linked with my existing online Id for any transaction needed I had gone to USA on 11-Nov-2010 from India and reached USE as per evening USA time of 11-Nov-2010. After this I returned to India in Sep 2011 only. The Policy document was never provided to me as agreed and hence I NEVER got any free-look period and No time to review detail terms and conditions which were completely different than false promises provided at the time of discussion. This appears to me as planned activity as agent selling policy was aware my potential of investment by looking into my bank account through his friend from Bank branch where the sales discussion happened. After 2-3 months period, this policy was linked to my online ID. When even after 18-24 months policy was having actually financial loss, as per the promise I requested ICICI prudential to close the policy and return the amount. I also involved ICICI bank branch manager in the communication who was witness to FALSE selling and he also requested ICICI Prudential to help in closing the policy in writing. This is BIG proof that this was mis-selling. However ICICI Prudential pretended to do lot of investigation and their representatives (Dimple A., Deepika Singh, Sosthanes Fernandes) one after the other many times kept transferring the query to each other but never properly responding why promises are broken and why the policy document is NOT delivered so that I could have got opportunity to use free look period. After my many attempt, I called Dispatch department and got the information that ICICI Prudential have the records that the policy document was received by me on 20-Nov-2010. It was based on FALSIFIED information of TEJ courier whose records of policy document were not traceable. Since I was in USA on 20-Nov-2010, it was impossible that I receive the policy document and ICICI Prudential Falsified these records and forfeited my free look period to avoid policy cancellation. When I produced the evidences of Passport, Visa stamps and Immigration records to ICICI Prudential Office on F C Road Pune in year 2012 to operational manager Munmun Rajni (Mobile[protected] she kept promising investigation even after having ALL ABOVE EVIDENCES right before her along with email communication requests for which proper answers were NOT provided. Finally she involved Mumbai based Chief Officer Ashwini Bondale (Mobile[protected] who just delayed it further and did not do any justice by providing same replies as lower order representatives and IGNORED the hard evidences. Due to this loss of trust I was not sure if they do further damage to me so I waited for 5 years to close policy which was minimum lock in period informed to me after 18 months of policy tenure when I actually wanted to close it as per commitment while taking 5 lakhs cheque in Nov 2010. I can provide all the evidences to IRDA or any authority. ICICI prudential NEVER provided the proof of courier delivery even after several phone, email and In-person requests. ICICI prudential ignorantly mentioned that they are not responsible for wrong courier delivery and thus the free look period. This is GRAVE INJUSTICE to customer for NOT providing LEGAL free look period and I demand IRDA to bring this case to justice and provide me due compensation for my MONEY MISUSED with wrong promises by ICICI Prudential.

I have read all your points and it is the same reply i got on my first complaint email. I was totally unaware regarding all of the policy commitments which you are writing in this email. I will tell once again that i have been put in this policy through wrong commitments. The officials of your company didn't tell me related to all of the points which you have written in your last email. They only told me that you can opt out from the policy anytime.
At the time when i Signed for the policy i told them that i do not want to put my money for such a time and they said you can opt out anytime as this policy did not have any Specific period to continue for. I am total confused how such type of company can do such thing with their customers.

please and please talk to your concerned policy head officials, they know everything regarding this matter. I have talked with them through Phone, Email, Skype etc. When i Received the first soft copy of the policy i saw all these points, but your head officials told that we will do it for you (means they said you can stop your policy anytime).

Now tell me what will you do in my favor i don't want to listed such things fro you in the future. I want solution of my problem that is it.

    Till date I have not received my money back I have continued the policy I was given by stating wrong information. Today again I have received the call from [protected]. This time he stated his name was Arindam Banerjee, he gave me his no.[protected] This time he said thru ICICI -- I will be getting INR 45750/- if I invest in any of the following insurance cos. 1. Birla Sun Life 2. Exide Life Insurance Co 3. Reliance Life Insurance 4. Bharti AXA Life Insurance Co. I have recorded the conversation. Acc to the conversation, the above cos. provide insurance as lock - in period for 1 year. I convinced him to send the person across to my house next day. I do not know how he came to know about my last complaint. He called me and used abusive language in Bengali and said I would not be able to do anything and it seem to me that he has connection with AB Insurance Pvt Ltd. According to conversation, he said he was calling from ICICI prdudential from Durgapur. If these agents are not stopped from fooling the people, how long customers suffer -- we are investing our hard earned money and we are getting fooled just because they are making commissions on our head. If this time, strict action is not taken, I am planning to lodge official complaint. I have called at [protected] - the true caller indicates PABIR DADA and the voice resembled to ARINDOM BANERJEE I request you to take action and find out these culprits

    Strict action to be taken against these phone callers and the agents who are getting benefitted by giving false information
    again have received the call from [protected] -- he called him Joy Sengupta but true caller says Amitava.

    I think we need to report this matter to police and get these people arrested who are selling their insurance products by giving false information.

    This time this guy said he is calling from Minto Park, ICICI Prudential head office.

      Policy Number[protected] which was opened in August 2013.I am not happy with Fund performance and called customer support team in Aug 2015 that I am not happy ( twice) with Fund performance and will not pay the premium. I have mentioned them than I am OK policy if lapsed and frozen ( 3% interest rate).Direct debit was done on 3 rd nov without my consent .

      Annual ECS is set on 20th August 2015 . I have intentionally kep low fund and informed support team about it. They have sent me 100 reminder about premium payment. I have called them and inform them that I will not pay the premium because I am not happy with the performance . It is my choice. I am OK if policy is lapsed . Anyway I will be getting 3% interest which better then devaluation of my money.

              As I am single and unable to pay premium had approached them they are saying 35% of paid premium amount will be paid by deducting one year premium. 16588384 is my policy in which I had paid 19800 as premium half yearly for 3and half years.                 HI, After going through reviews and feed backs from different websites i made my mind to purchase ICICI PRU life I protect term policy.Paid the premium anount on 18th Sep 2015. Application no. OB04300665. After 3 days medicals also given. Week after got a mail from ICICI Prulife team saying that I need to pay extra premium giving a cause that Diabetes on treatement. Than I requested ICICI Pru life to send the medical reports.After three days I have received the reports from them and consulted a doctor.Surprisingly Doctor said that nothing wrong with the reports every thing is fine.All are normal. Than I have written a mail to ICICI prulife to explain the reasons for charging extra premium and What does it meant by Diabetes on treatment.But till today there is no reply from ICICI. I am Clearly telling you all Don't go for ICICI PRU life insurance policies.

                  I have taken an ICICI Pro Super Pinnacle Policy on 28.09.2013 having policy number 18011550. At the time of taking the policy, I specifically informed your concerned official that DIRECT DEBIT from my account shall not be allowed except the first premium of policy. In my Policy document also, it has never been mentioned that the yearly premium shall be charged on DIRECT DEBIT to my account. In spite of my specific request, since last two years, you have charged the yearly premium amount through Direct Debit to my account. As far as the Insurance policies are concerned, It is the basic duty of the Insurance Company to remind their clients regarding next premium due, and the last due date of premium etc.etc. In my case, instead of intimating me the premium due date, you directly debit the premium amount from by account without my consent. After issuing the mandate for direct debit, you never informed me in this respect. As per policy terms, The direct debit without client’s consent is unethical hence unjustified. This is definitely a willful cheating on the part of ICICI Pru Life as you do not want to keep transparency while dealing with your clients. As far as a client is concerned, it is not necessary and compulsory that sufficient credit balance is always available with ones on account while you directly debit such type of premiums from clients account. On direct debit, if sufficient fund is not available, bank shall give negative rating for our future transactions with ICICI as a whole. I faced the same situation during last year, as you never intimated me in advance regarding direct debit of yearly premium from my account I have given the complaint regarding the same on 28th august 2015 at surat branch and still have not received any resolution till now, which very unprofessional behavior by you. In view of above, I want an explanation for the above issue as well as an apology from ICICI Prudential for the damages done to my last year’s credit rating and I also insist for a complete investigation on my above mentioned grievances. If i have not received the prompt reply, i will have no option then putting legal case against you and go to consumer forum for the same.

                    Be aware of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance company's 'smart' working. They will automatically enable ECS for your insurance payment. They did for me without any request for such from my end. When asked about this they kept telling that as per their record I have used earlier payment through Debit/Credit Card from their website and in that website I have wrongly selected ECS mode option. Whereas all my payments were made through net banking from webpage of my bank. When I furnished proof of my last payments that shows all payments were made through net banking and asked ICICI Prudential to furnish proof from their 'record' showing I had made last payments from their webpage using Debit/Credit card, they could not furnish the same. At last they confirmed disabling of ECS, but the entire issue took communications for more than 15 days. So be aware of this ICICI Prudential's way of working.

                      Hi, This is with ref the death claim intimation sent to ICICI pru policy no 18305111. There is nthing requirement but still ICICI pru unable to settle the clain even they are just saying it is under process. Their executive came for verification and asked for money to settle the claim. Is is necessary to pay money to ICICI pru filed office or claim manager to settle the claim.

                        We have surrendered our policy 06510569 and got acknowledgement slip also on 26th June 2015 at Hazratgunj branch, Lucknow. We have done all the formalities and also submitted all the documents. But still we haven't got money till now. We have called your employes many times they always say in 2 to 3 days you will get money but it's more than 1.5 months and we haven't got our money, and now they are even ignoring our calls. We aren't getting death claim, want to discuss about it, there isn't any proper guidance here. By complaining here we hope our problem will resolve soon, we are fed up of all this.                           my father opened the icici prudential life insurance policy in 2007 and it was continued till 2010 as it had locking period of 3 years . as now he is no more I called icici customer service centre to claim / refund the amount invested, she told me claim can not be made because of foreclosure policy. but when I check other customers complaints they claim the amount of foreclosure policy. I want to claim this invested amount kindly guide me through this.

                            Hi I was sold a policy by ICICI Pru with policy number[protected]. I am totally disappointed with the services and the guidelines provided by ICICI Pru life till now. Please find the below issue and torture which i have been facing due to ICICI Pru from last one year. I am expecting answer of my each query please. 1. When i have purchased policy at that time Apr-2014 the advisor Minisha (ICICI OMEGA Branch, Greater Noida) told us that this is a Fixed Deposit with 3 year maturity plan (either you pay three year or one year) and you will get the Brouchere and Welcome kit in next two weeks at your Home address. She asked me to sign & fill the details in some Insurance form. How this policy chage from FD to Insuarance Policy? 2. After one month (May-2014) i called her and asked the update of Welcome kit as i didn't received in next two week.She confirmed that she will follow from Bank & confirm. Again No Outcome. After Four month when i again followed she said she left the job now you can contact to Mr. Ravi (Alpha Branch). Now if any advisor submits wrong commitment to customr, so isnt this company's responsibility to verify the details provided by advisor. 3. I went to Mr. Ravi and i must say he is very co-oprative and humble he checked my details with all the required information. But no luck no policy exist with the DOB/Name/Check Number.A big surprised for me. i have registered complaint to him with the details of Bank statement. How company can initiate any policy without any details or you have not verified the PAN card photocopy as well which i have provided to Minisha???? Is only money matters for the company? 4. Now i started taking follow-up with Ravi after continuous effort of 4-5 Month. I received first information about this Policy with Policy name/number. Now its again shocking for me as this was Insurance Plan (Guaranteed Wealth Protector). But still i am not able to get the details as my Date of Birth in policy was wrong. Which was 01/01/1978, While my original DOB is 29/10/1986.Again How is this possible that company can initiate policy with wrong DOB and what will be the impact of this in Plan benefits? 5. Again after taking regular follow-up finally i am able to get the document of the Policy in Apr-2015. 6.After reading the Document i understand the policy term that this is not one time payment plan but yearly one for five years and meanwhile each day i received the call for the Premium reminder. The customer representative also said if your policy will discontinue then you will not get the policy benefits there is some discontinuation charge which will be deduct from your fund value. I dont want this policyand I want my amount back. First i dont receive my documnets in 15 days and there customer care ppl sya that we need to report all this in 1st 15 days.                               Issue:
                              Year - after - year thousand & thousands of policy holders of icici prudential life had suffered huge financial losses. Apparently after their customized tailormade policy – advised, sized & stitched by company after factoring in the contextual facts – income, age etc. , termed as most suitable, viable in given conditions with given basis – income, age…turn out in due course as most unsuitable, unviable, a financial death trap.                                 I have recently got a policy with Policy number = 19295138. This policy was issued to me by my ICICI relationship manager as he misguided me. When i received my paper document i came to know the policy details and latter when i requested to cancel my policy, ICICI Prudential denied this. When i contacted with other persons, they were saying that you can cancel the policy after 15 days of receiving the physical documents. I have received the physical document on 18 June 2015. Latter when i contacted my ICICI relationship manager he was not interested in cancelling my policy. I registered a complaint with reference number ICICI PRU REF Number =[protected] June, 2015) Grievance Reference ID =[protected] June, 2015) ICICI Prudential branch complaint =[protected] June, 2015) Please help me to reimburse my entire 100001 INR to my bank account as i don't want to continue to this policy.                                 ICICI Prudential Life Insurance customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                I am following up with ICICI Prudential, but not getting the positive response from ICICI Prudential. Please do something needful so that they will return my entire premium as per IRDA norms. I am bit frusted with the time and delayed response from ICICI Prudential. I am not sure if they are cheating other people in the same manner.

                                  My mother Mrs. Meenu Agarwal from Pilibhit (UP) has a ICICI Prudential Health savor policy with # 17475242 since 19 March 2013. We are paying premiums regularly and Last month we claimed for Hernia surgery for her. The claim was rejected saying, that hernia surgery is not covered in medical policy. After several follow-ups it was told that an exclution letter was provided to us at time of providing policy saying hernia surgery will not be covered in this and it was told that my mother has signed that. When I asked to send me a copy of it, a letter was emailed to me which contains the copied signature of my mother and we were never shown that letter anytime before and at the time of taking the policy also and my mother has never signed that. we scanned the signatures and found that the signatures were not of my mother, but someone has done the false(copied) signature. After scolding the claim officer of local branch(Mr. Sanjay Mishra) and agent(Mr Sharad Gupta) they offered us amount of Rs.25000 and dismiss the case. We followed up at the claim department mumbai, lucknow headquators and IRDA also. After various escalation we got an reply saying that we are ready to cancel the policy and refund your full amount which is paid as premiums till date. We are not ready to cancel the policy and want to get claim of it as this is a fraud done by ICICI employee and he should also be punished for that. They have also verified our original policy after asking us to take to the local office, but now I am getting no response for emails. Its been more than 50 days I am following on this and still no resolution is provided. Please look into the matter. Issue Call id#79798583 and 80038029. Please help.

                                    I am Vikrant Kale filing complaint against icici prudential insurance company. I am Old Customer of ICICI Since 2004! I have good faith in ICICI till date . I have relation with ICICI BANK, & ICICI Prudential . But very very bad Experiance with ICICI Prudential since since I have applied for ICICI Prulife Term insurance plan. I have applied for Term plan on May 16th 2015 for ICICI Protect Options 2 as advised by their customer service desk. Documents uploaded on the very same day and medical tests were done on 1th May. As I haven't received any update in 2 weeks started following with them and finally on 30th May they sent an email saying that you have applied for correct policy. I havent got any response from them for the explaination on why it took 15 days to check this. Anyways they suggestet they can procced further if I can give go ahead to apply under different policy ICICI Option 2 care. Accordingly I have given my consent and have paid the extra premium as confirmed ( due to my diabetic ) on the 8th June. I was told by Neha that as soon as I pay extra payment it will processed and policy will be issued. Today when I am raising this complaint its 18th June, in last 2 weeks I have sent several emails to buyoneline team and called their customer service centre few times but still no update. I feel cheated and its very unethical, unprofessional attitude of ICICI prudential. in spite of raising complains several times...no one has called me till date to resolve the issue.                                         I have complained several time to ICICI pru customer care on the matter below. I have regularly paid the premiums for more than 5 years and loyalty addition on the policy is due since February, 2015 but not done so far. I have sent many complaints references.: request number 79926075 query number 80267569. I have been promised many times with setting deadline by May and still nothing is done. There are standard answer that they are working on it for last 4 months. I am really tired as taking ICICI policy is proved to be pain.
