    Dear Sir, I used to have a policy with your company as ICICI Pru LifeStage Assure policy, policy number 11488717. They have cheated me like anything. First year premium is not paid to me. I got to know this when i visit the ICICI prudenial office in the year of 2011. I paid my premiums until this year from 2009. This year i have canceled the policy since i am not sure whether they will pay my money at the maturity date. there are many complaints for this issue. At the end no resolution made from ICICI. ICICI company they didn't pay my first year premium. After cancellation of my policy also, they raised a complaint on behalf of them. Until now i am following with ICICI, but no answer from them. ICICI dont know what they will respond. Every time ICICI will say different different things. They will agree in phone calls that they did the mistake. In any of the emails they dont mention the details what they discussed. They dont even mention the complaint id while responding to the customer's email. This is the way they cheat the customers. ICICI is a very bad company. Please dont take any insurance from this company. Thanks Sathish

      My mom have an account with ICICI prudential and the yearly renewal was not supposed to be made by through ECS. She did not sign up for ECS when she started this policy but still the ICICI team enabled it and deducted payment dishonor charges for their mistake. We have been contacting them over email for the last 45 days and every time there will be a new person responding to our email asking us to make the payment and not worried about the charges which was deducted from our account. Not even a single person from ICICI Prudential has been assigned specifically for this case and resolved the issue. In between someone named Annamalai from Anna nagar branch visited our home saying he was asked to explain about the policy from Mumbai team and when we explained the issue he said he will get back the next day. As usual we called him for couple of days and finally he spoke with us saying that this will be taken care at the back end and refund will be initiated. I asked him to confirm it over an email and till date no response nor a resolution for our issue. I can be reached in [protected] to explain further about the issue if someone from ICICI need to reach me. I will post the emails if I dont get any response from ICICI team shortly

        Dear Sir/Ma’am, I am Parama Dasgupta, owner of policy no. 16545718. I had taken this policy from ICICI securities on the 30th of March 2012. A PR professional by profession. I had contacted Ms Antara Chakraboty at the Garia branch of ICICI Prudential. I had asked her to guide me through a one time or a short term investment. This lady visited us and pitched for this policy which she claimed to be a short term policy. I was told this policy will take 3 premiums and the first premium of Rs 30, 000 as a joining amount (which I now find was absolutely unnecessary ) and I can withdraw the money after 5 years. To my surprise when the welcome kit arrived I realised it’s not really a short term one. On the pamphlet it said I’ll have to pay 7 premiums and I can reap the benefits only after 8 years from the last premium paid. I immediately called up this lady and asked her to meet us and sort this out. But she visited us after a month, all the while downplaying the 15 days withdrawal time limit. Then when she did visit me she insisted it indeed is a short term policy & that, I’ll have to pay three premiums & I’ll be able to reap the benefits after 5 years. That the kit mentions the Maximum time to keep the policy holder invested. That she will “take care of it all” and I can reap the benefits after 5 years if I want, or stay invested for 15 years. But when I contacted her again after being informed by my journalist friends that not all agents of ICICI Prudential are always right I realised that she is not being honest or there is some kind of miscommunication happening and that I should sort it out before I pay the premium, this lady again insisted if I don’t pay the first premium my joining amount, which need not be paid in the first place, will be completely forfeited.(I am now being told by the ICICI official that no matter what the signing amount if paid is never forfeited) She suggested I pay the first premium and then email ICICI Prudential at the helpline id. I had my doubts so I mailed the helpline before paying the first premium to which I received an acknowledgement mail but no reply. Upon constant insisting from Antara I paid the premium and mailed ICICI again.(I now am being informed by the ICICI official that the payment of first premium should have been withheld by me as paying the same confirmed my approval. Which means here again Antara tricked me into paying the first premium and thereby getting trapped) This time I received an answer but it was only about the end result but I found no instructions of how to go about the situation and how to discontinue the premium. Ever since I have been trying desperately to reach Ms Antara who seem to have disappeared from the face of Earth. Even the branch does no longer exist. (The branch that was previously ICICI Prudential is now ICICI Direct with completely new staff which seems reluctant to help with anything other than “ICICI Direct” issues) I have been trying desperately to find out how I can put an end to this misguided confusion and to let ICICI Prudential know how their agent is cheating their customers, but I have not been able to find any way whatsoever. This is now my last and only hope to be heard. I have had to move back to Kolkata due to some family problem and have not been able to find a job here. It is therefore impossible for me to commit to such an investment at this stage. And also, somewhere down the line my trust on ICICI Prudential is completely shattered. I do not wish to continue with this investment anymore. I can only request you to find or suggest a way to sort this out a way to discontinue this policy and return my money that I have already invested. I have even filled an official grievance at their main branch in Kolkata (Reference no.[protected] WHICH HAS BEEN PROMPTLY DECLINED on the basis of the very same reasons that I complained about. I am now tired and helpless of this complete failure and obnoxious cheating from ICICI securities and the way they have been handling the situation and customer grievance and am forced to knock on your door to find justice. Without my confirmation- ICICI has deducted sum of 1799 INR from my account .So, i condemn this, and this is a Fradulent act.I wonder how a Standard bank like ICICI is doing this cheap act.They have automatically activated CPP/ one assist plan and deducted my hard earned money.

            In Dec 2013, I have received a call from Neha Sharma @ [protected] claiming that she
            is calling from ICICI Pru Life and she is an ICICI PRU Life adviser. She told me about
            ICICI whole life saving plan with a loan offer of Rs 15, 00, 000 ( 15 Lac). She told me
            that If I will invest yearly 1, 25, 000 (approx) premium for 15 years ICICI will provide me
            that loan with in 4 to 6 month ( before the second half yearly premium) after brought the
            policy and there is no EMI for this loan ( need to return in one installment of Rs
            1500000.) She told me that I have to return back the loan amount with in 1 to 15 years as
            a single installment of Rs 15, 00, 000. If I will be unable to return back the loan amount,
            ICICI bank will deduct 50% of the sum assured from my policy. The sum assured after
            15 year will be approx 37 Lacs rupees ( Rs. 37, 00, 000) means If I will not return back
            the loan amount ICICI Bank will deduct Rs 18, 50, 000 ( 50% of sum assured) for their
            loan recovery and Rs 18, 50, 000 will return back to me at policy maturity which is 15
            years).
            If my loan is not approved with in the time limit (4 to 6 month) my policy will be
            canceled and my premium amount will be return back to me. I explain him that my
            financial condition is not so strong. I can manage only one half yearly premium by taking
            some loan from my friends or relatives. Hardly I manage the amount of Rs 65000. So I
            invest Rs 65, 000 as a half yearly premium in ICICI whole life saving plan on Dt 9 Dec
            2013.
            After applying the policy, I have received two verification phone calls one is from Mrs.
            Sweta @ [protected], she said that she is calling from ICICI bank loan department,
            Ballabhgarh Branch and she done the verification about the loan and explain me about
            the only loan offer and policy details. The details were same as told by Neha Sharma and
            also she told me that soon I will receive a call for policy verification. After few time on
            same day I have received a call for policy verification from Mr. Raju Tiwari @
            [protected] and he describe the policy benefits only. Both Sweta (ICICI Loan Dept.)
            and Raju Tiwari (ICICI Pru life) had done the verification. I received my policy on 28
            Dec 2013.
            After that I received a call from Neha Sharma and Rahul ( claming Neha’s senior )
            [protected] who ask for the scan copy of my policy document and I send it to
            sameer.[protected]@gmail.com which is provide me over the phone by Neha Sharma.
            Neha and Sweta regularly call me and inform be about the loan. In between these days I
            have received some other call for same verifications, loan details and the time duration.
            But after passing 4 months when I have not received any document for the loan, I contact
            back to Neha and Sweta for the document. Every time they told me that they will mail me
            the document soon. But I have not received any document except the phone calls.
            In Apr 2014 I have received a call from Sweta and she said that my loan is approved and
            I will receive my loan amount with in a months. But after passing the one months I have
            not received anyhing. So I contact Neha and Sweta both and told that that I have not
            received anything So I request them to cancel my policy. Both said the policy my will be
            cancel with in next 7 days. After passed next seven days, I contact back to Neha Sharma.
            This time, when I call to Neha Sharma @ [protected] / [protected] her number was not
            ringing (IVR says that the number you have call is not recognized). Then I call back to
            Sweta thousand times but she is not picking up my call. So I call from some other
            number. One day some one ( Divya ) pick up the phone and told me that Sweta is not in
            office when she came back she will call me back. I ask for Divya’s no.(her no is
            [protected]) . But I have not received any phone call from any one Neither from Neha
            Sharma nor from Sweta or Divya. No one is picking up the phone from that day ( Their
            numbers are Sweta @ [protected], Neha Sharma @ [protected] / [protected] and
            Divya [protected])
            So, I called to Mr. Raju Tiwari( # [protected]) who did the verification call for Policy.
            He suggest me to file a written complaint against them people who done this. So on 25th
            Apr 2014 I wrote a complaint and give to Mr. Raju Tiwari in his office. He received the
            complaint. I have regularly contact Mr Tiwari and explain him that my financial
            condition is not well so please return the amount or convert it a one time investment. But
            From last two months he is also not giving me any answer and Mr Tiwari’s phone also
            not connecting.
            Few days back I have again gave a request in the branch to return the amount as my
            financial condition is not good. Its give me an economically and mentally harassment.
            My nights are sleepless as the creditors are putting the pressure on me to return their
            amount
            I would like to request you to please cancel my policy and return back my amount or
            convert it as a one time investment and take a strict action against those people who is
            doing this kind fraud and selling the policy by giving a wrong commitment.

              Dear Sir, This is to inform you that we taken a Health saver policy by the name of Rupesh Dagar vide policy no. 16827552. I (Pooja Dagar) also include in this policy & we take this policy on jul’12. When we take the policy that time advisor says that with us our 2 children can include in this policy but that time we don’t have any baby. In March 2013, I blessed with the baby boy. Then I called the advisor in the month of jun’13 and give documents said by the advisor of my baby to add him on the policy. We having Packaging material business in kala Amb, H. P. & due to some financial crisis we are unable to give the premium on time. But before the next due premium we made the payment in month of Jun’14. Amount of Rs. 20000/- is credited in your account on 6th june’14. Then I called the customer care to enquire about my policy than I came to know that my husband date of birth is wrongly filled in the form and personal declaration form is required to revive the policy. Then there is no branch of ICICI prudiental in Kala Amb, Nahan or Paonta Sahib than we went to Chandigarh Madhya Marg branch on 11th june 2014 and fill the personal declaration for and submit my husband pan card for the DOB correction. As I having an thyroid, so I tick yes on it and complete the form & give to the executive. He said mam within 24 hours policy will be activated and Mr. Rupesh DOB also changed. Then again week passed I called customer care they said mam We send the letter to you that we need MER, TFT of yours and for that you to visit our panel only. Then we go to Mohali, Dr. Sodhi’s clinic for MER & TFT. Then again we wait for 8-10 days for the policy activation but still policy was not activated, than again I called the customer care they said mam we send the letter to you but I haven’t received any letter. Then I called the executive in Chandigarh, Madhya Marg branch than he said mam Mr. Rupesh Dagar can only take the claim on this policy not you because your thyroid report is positive. Then I answer him I know I having an minor thyroid problem that’s why I tick yes on it so, it doesn’t mean I don’t exist in this policy. He said mam this letter was send by the head office and we can’t do anything and it’s our policy. Sir, I don’t know why I am out of this policy because I having an thyroid problem. When I take the policy I am not having any problem in my body but after my baby birth I having an thyroid problem. We taken health saver policy than what is the meaning of it. It means we are wasting our money on such policies. At every year you take Personal declaration form & if the person having some problem than you make them out of this policy or says you take any claim etc. . in my opinion health saver means to save the health, if someone have any problem than you people do the treatment for that but no you people harassing the customers and taking the premium only. Customer trusts you that’s why invest the money for their betterment but you people making us fool. Sir, our policy is deactivated after paying the premium. My husband’s DOB still not changed and my baby still not included in this policy and you people make me out of this policy than why we people trust you. ICICI having a name that’s why we take the policy of yours. Otherwise there are so many other insurance companies are available. We having other policies also with Met life insurance, LIC but we never face any problem but with ICICI alots of problem. I want the answer why you people make me out of this policy. Where, in which law book it’s written that I having a thyroid problem after my policy then I not eligible to take the claims or not exist in the policy. Please stop making fool of peoples.                   I had been misguided by representative by the ICICI pru and had been given policy ICICI prudential income solution IV in May'2014. I had already surrendered the same in free look period, but refund had not been made since last 2 months.I had already approached several times the branch for the same but all in vain .                     Respected sir/madam

                    Please note i take a icici pru wealth builder ii policy no. 18663300 as on 06.06.2014 from icici bank executive mr i subrat at gk-ii new delhi branch at the time of policy executive said there is no charges of this policy & all terms & conditions is mentioned in your bond & the bond is sent at your postal address & if you are not satisfied from terms & conditions of this policy than you can surrender the policy within 15 days after received of bond & company will refund your premium amount without any deduction, so please note i don’t received any bond paper & i want to cancelled the policy due nobody tell me about allocation charges which will be charge by icici prudential & i invest my money in 100% debt but as per proposal received from icici prudential by mail my 70% amount is invested in equity & this is fraud, so please cancelled my policy & refund my premium amount as on urgent basis.


                    I already submit letter for cancellation of policy at icici prudential ghaziabad branch on 18.07.2014.

                    Pune. i want to stop monthly ECS payment to Kotak Life Insurance Policy.
                    the branch manager says they require approval of insurance company to
                    stop the payment. my question to him was i should have right over my
                    account, why do i have to take a consent of third party to stop the
                    payment from my account. plz guide me at the earlist do i have to take
                    permission from the third party to stop the ECS payment.

Never call any ICICI direct personal to your home for DEMO of ICICI direct online portal as they could operate your online account and put your hard earned MONEY in ICICI prudential policy without you knowledge. There is a Nexus between ICICI Direct and ICICI Prudential on this to loot your hard earned money. After this ICICI Prudential never calls you to confirm that you have taken a policy and give you information about the policy which is a normal practice they follow. ICICI Prudential says that they had sent you a document explaining the policy which you never receive and its only after a year or two you come to know that your hard-earned money has been misused when you start getting Premium reminders. After this if you go back to ICICI prudential and tell them that there was a policy mis-selling and that you want refund, they dont do any investigation in the case, dont look at procedure lapses on their side, dont verify their records to check whether the policy document was received by the customer or not, give you wrong information that you had signed a policy document and blatantly refuse to do the refund. These people have no right to call themselves as professional and live in our civil society. Its a shame on ICICI for doing such a criminal activity. This is what happened with me: I got a new ICICI direct account. He told us that we can invest Rs. 25000/- in gold to which we agreed. But instead of INVESTING our hard earned money in Gold, he invested that money in ICICI Prudential policy WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE, WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. In the meanwhile we shifted from Hyderabad to Bangalore. After a year or so I went to ICICI direct online site and tried to check the investment of Rs. 25000 that I had made. On talking to ICICI direct customer care I got a shocking news that my money has been invested in ICICI Prudential policy 15823977. I told them that I never wanted this policy and this mischief has been done by one of their personnel and that I am not in a position to pay the premium. They told us to talk to ICICI Pru customer care. We interacted with ICICI Pru several times on this matter: (1) Once ICICI Pru in a mail said that we had signed a policy document which was completely false and they were unable to produce any proof (2) ICICI Pru said that they had sent me the policy document at my residential address, which I never received. In their records they have that the documnet was received by Mr. Ashok who was the security person in our apartment. He did not give us the document and so we had no clue that such a policy was there in our name and that our hard earned money was misused (3) We told ICICI Pru to talk to ICICI direct and verify the details that Ankur was our relationship manager and take action against him. But ICICI Pru never did any investigation in this matter (4) ICICI Pru were completely mum on procedural lapses that were done from their side like not calling us to inform/confirm about the policy and explain the policy which they usually do. ICICI Pru are totaly un-professional people who dont know how to handle such cases, dont know how to do proper investigation, dont know how to respond to customer queries. They have no right to be in this business. So please be aware and stay away from these money looters and a nexus that is going on between ICICI direct and ICICI Pru. My complaint is about online fraud that was committed by a ICICI direct personnel/our relationship manager Mr. Ankur Srivastava while giving us demo of ICICI direct online portal. He logged in from my PC to ICICI direct online portal using my login/password with my consent. But he invested our hard money in ICICI Pru policy without telling us/without our permission/without our consent saying that he is investing that money in Gold. So saying that it happened with my consent is false. Did you do investigation from your side on following: - Did you check that Mr. Ankur Srivastava was a ICICI direct employee and our relationship manager? - Did you check whether ICICI direct send their relationship managers to customers to give demo of online ICICI direct portal and teach customers how to buy/sell shares? - Did you check that Mr. Ankur Srivastava (our relationship manager) had come to our house to give demo of ICICI direct online portal on date Aug 9, 2011 when this policy was requested? (Ankur might have updated this in his report along with the time he was in our house) - Did you check that on date Aug 9, 2011 when this policy was requested, some DLF shares were also bought on my behalf during the period Ankur was in our house? At this time Ankur was operating our account and giving us demo of how to buy/sell shares. And during the same time he told us that he is investing our Rs. 25000 in gold but instead invested in ICICI Pru policy without our consent. 3. If I had willingly taken this policy I would have paid all the premiums of the policy regularly as I do for my other policies. But because it was mis-selling/fraud we did not know anything about the policy. You must take disciplinary action against people like Ankur and help the victims. 4. On complain after 2 years and 6 months: I came to know about this fraud only after a year when I contacted ICICI direct customer care to know about my Rs. 25000 that I thought was invested in Gold. After that came to know that my money is invested in ICICI Pru Policy. During the same time I was going through pregnancy, went to my native for delivery, came back after a year and then started pursuing on this. 5. About the SMS: What was the content of this message. Did it explain the policy? Did it say that in order to cancel the policy I should revert within 15 days? Did it say that Rs. 25000 was paid to ICICI pru from my ICICI direct account? If not then how on earth I would know what exactly has happened, whether its a fake message or sent by mistake. Only policy document would have helped, which I never received. My complaint is about online fraud that was committed by a ICICI direct personnel/our relationship manager Mr. Ankur Srivastava while giving us demo of ICICI direct online portal. He logged in from my PC to ICICI direct online portal using my login/password with my consent. But he invested our hard money in ICICI Pru policy without telling us/without our permission/without our consent saying that he is investing that money in Gold. So saying that it happened with my consent is false. Did you do investigation from your side on following:
                              - Did you check that Mr. Ankur Srivastava was a ICICI direct employee and our relationship manager?
                              - Did you check whether ICICI direct send their relationship managers to customers to give demo of online ICICI direct portal and teach customers how to buy/sell shares?
                              - Did you check that Mr. Ankur Srivastava (our relationship manager) had come to our house to give demo of ICICI direct online portal on date Aug 9, 2011 when this policy was requested? (Ankur might have updated this in his report along with the time he was in our house)
                              - Did you check that on date Aug 9, 2011 when this policy was requested, some DLF shares were also bought on my behalf during the period Ankur was in our house? At this time Ankur was operating our account and giving us demo of how to buy/sell shares. And during the same time he told us that he is investing our Rs. 25000 in gold but instead invested in ICICI Pru policy without our consent.

                              3. If I had willingly taken this policy I would have paid all the premiums of the policy regularly as I do for my other policies. But because it was mis-selling/fraud we did not know anything about the policy. You must take disciplinary action against people like Ankur and help the victims.

                              4. On complain after 2 years and 6 months: I came to know about this fraud only after a year when I contacted ICICI direct customer care to know about my Rs. 25000 that I thought was invested in Gold. After that came to know that my money is invested in ICICI Pru Policy. During the same time I was going through pregnancy, went to my native for delivery, came back after a year and then started pursuing on this.

                              5. About the SMS: What was the content of this message. Did it explain the policy? Did it say that in order to cancel the policy I should revert within 15 days? Did it say that Rs. 25000 was paid to ICICI pru from my ICICI direct account? If not then how on earth I would know what exactly has happened, whether its a fake message or sent by mistake. Only policy document would have helped, which I never received. Why didn't you follow the simple procedure of calling me to explain/confirm the policy that you do for other customers?

                              See how unprofessional your (ICICIPru) people are. I had asked them to answer my questions to the point and had mentioned that if I don't get to the point answer will post their reply along-with my questions on online site (basically here).                                 I am a retired employee of icici bank ltd.The bank has purchased annuity from I pru life insurnce co ltd for regular payment of pension timely on monthly basis.My id is 47746.The co did not make payment of pension for the month of March and enquiring from the employer, it has been asked to submit the live certificate which i submitted on 24/04/2014 and on various dates later on .It has been told that the said document was not recieved whereas the documents were sent over mail to the employer and ins co and all the mails were delivered as all communications are available on sent mails and no mail is reported bounced .At last i sent print out of all my mails to the employer which were sent to ins co and on the basis of which my pension for March, April and May were released on 17/06/2014 that is after 3-1/2months.Mean while I had marriage of my son on 24/05/2014 and you can imagine the financial hardship i must have faced but some how i managed the marriage by external borrowing.Thus the employer in connivance with ins co which is also related to the bank caused mental agony deliberately with the ulterior motto to humiliate me to the fullest extant.I therefore request to investigate the reasons for such an abnormal delay in payment of pension and officers of i bank and ins co ltd involved in this conspiry should be heavily penalised so that no body in future can dare to do such a big conspiracy Further compensate me by Rs 51000 towards mental agony and Fd rate on the amount of pension for the delayed period

                                  My adviser Debasish from ICICI pru life insurance showed a different plan Maximiser Fund V and collected all my documents signed. Later on 2nd June, he applied for Guaranteed wealth protector plan with a premium Rs. 50000 without my knowledge and confirmation.This plan was never explained. Money was deducted from my credit card, which leads to major problems in my life. A different policy and premium Rs. 50000 without my knowledge and confirmation was deducted. Request to cancel the policy 18656312, refund my money, pay the losses and compensate the loses suffered by me.

                                    Sir, I myself Vijai Kumar, policy holder of icici prudential policy no. 13827700. the policy premium becomes due in the month of May-June every year. Since in the year 2013 I retired from govt. service on 31st March, 2013 and because of non payment of my retiral dues i failed to deposite the premium in due time. After getting my retirement benefits when i deposited the premium of Rs. 50, 000(annual) it was informed that my aforesaid policy has already been lapsed. I was asked by the icici prudential to submit the medical declaration. I was also advised to collect the prescribed form for this purpose from icici prulife office at Allahabad, Since my address mentioned in the policy papers are of Allahabad. But the fact is that after retirement presently I am working in Monad University, Hapur, U.P. as Dean, Law. I have left Allahabad and residing in Hapur. My present address is Dr. Vijai Kumar Chauhan, Dean Law Monad University, NH-24 Pilkhuwa Hapur U.P. (mobile no.[protected]) Please give address of your office somewhere in surrounding of Hapur suchas Meerut or Ghaziabad from where i may collect the required form and submit the same within required period .                                       Dear Sirs, My name is GK Nair and my mob no is [protected]. I have a policy with your organisation. The policy is kept in my office. Today being a holiday, I am not able to provide you the no of the policy. One month back one person named Sushil Rawat with Mob no.[protected] spoke to me saying that he is customer complaint manager and told me the following details. "That my existing policy with ICICI Prudential is running in loss and that I can obtain refund for the same if I wish so. For this purpose, , I need to take another corporate insurance worth Rs. 40 000/ and he referred my name to Birla Sun Life Insurance. He promised me that If I do so, by 15th April, I will get a refund of Rs. 1, 98, 000/- against my policy from ICICI Prudential. He told me that he will require my application no and cheque no for processing my case. This I gave it to him on 28th of March after tasking the BSLI policy on 27th." Till that time there were repeated calls from this person, assuring that my refund would be obtained 110% by 15th. However, after 15th and 16th when I tried contacting this person, there was no response from this mobile nor was there any refund to my account. Today is 20th and still there is no remittance to my account. There is no reply from his mob no either. I request you to kindly look into the matter and give me a confirmation. With regards, GK Nair
