No proper investigation in my policy which was a mis-selling[protected]

Guys please please stay away from ICICI direct and ICICI Prudential, they are the biggest fraudsters on this planet.
Never call any ICICI direct personal to your home for DEMO of ICICI direct online portal as they could operate your online account and put your hard earned money in ICICI prudential policy without you knowledge.

There is a Nexus between ICICI Direct and ICICI Prudential on this to loot your hard earned money. After this ICICI Prudential never calls you to confirm that you have taken a policy and give you information about the policy which is a normal practice they follow. ICICI Prudential says that they had sent you a document explaining the policy which you never receive and its only after a year or two you come to know that your hard-earned money has been misused when you start getting Premium reminders.

After this if you go back to ICICI prudential and tell them that there was a policy mis-selling and that you want refund, they dont do any investigation in the case, dont look at procedure lapses on their side, dont verify their records to check whether the policy document was received by the customer or not, give you wrong information that you had signed a policy document and blatantly refuse to do the refund. These people have no right to call themselves as professional and live in our civil society. Its a shame on ICICI for doing such a criminal activity.

This is what happened with me:

I got a new ICICI direct account. A person called Ankur Srivastava from ICICI direct (our relationship manager)

came to our house to give us demo on how to use ICICI direct online portal to sell/buy shares. He told us that we can invest Rs. 25000/- in gold to which we agreed. But instead of investing our hard earned money in Gold, he invested that money in ICICI Prudential policy WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE, WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. In the meanwhile we shifted from Hyderabad to Bangalore. After a year or so I went to ICICI direct online site and tried to check the investment of Rs. 25000 that I had made. On talking to ICICI direct customer care I got a shocking news that my money has been invested in ICICI Prudential policy 15823977.

I told them that I never wanted this policy and this mischief has been done by one of their personnel and that I am not in a position to pay the premium. They told us to talk to ICICI Pru customer care. We interacted with ICICI Pru several times on this matter:
(1) Once ICICI Pru in a mail said that we had signed a policy document which was completely false and they were unable to produce any proof
(2) ICICI Pru said that they had sent me the policy document at my residential address, which I never received. In their records they have that the documnet was received by Mr. Ashok who was the security person in our apartment. He did not give us the document and so we had no clue that such a policy was there in our name and that our hard earned money was misused
(3) We told ICICI Pru to talk to ICICI direct and verify the details that Ankur was our relationship manager and take action against him. But ICICI Pru never did any investigation in this matter
(4) ICICI Pru were completely mum on procedural lapses that were done from their side like not calling us to inform/confirm about the policy and explain the policy which they usually do.

ICICI Pru are totaly un-professional people who dont know how to handle such cases, dont know how to do proper investigation, dont know how to respond to customer queries. They have no right to be in this business.

So please be aware and stay away from these money looters and a nexus that is going on between ICICI direct and ICICI Pru. Your money is not safe in their hands.

Dear Mr. Prajakta P. Nalawade,

This is in response to your representation to Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA).

We refer to your email dated June 28, 2014 ICICI Pru Guaranteed Savings Insurance Plan policy number 15823977 held with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co. Ltd.

In reference to the same please note that, the concern highlighted by you has been thoroughly reviewed by us and we stand by the decision communicated to you earlier via email dated June 19, 2014 on the basis of below mentioned details:
· The Company was in receipt of an online request on August 9, 2011 towards the issuance of aforesaid policy with an application numbers WP00008319 along with the first premium deposit total amounting to Rs. 25386/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Three Hundred Eighty Six Only).
· Accordingly, policy number 15823977 was issued on August 11, 2011 with Risk commencement date August 09, 2011 and the policy document was dispatched to the registered mailing address on August 16, 2011.
· In order to ensure transparency that the product is issued as per customer’s choice, we provide the customer with a copy of the application/ proposal form along with the policy document. If on receipt of the same, the policy holder is not agreeable to the terms and conditions, he/she has the option to cancel the policy under the free-look i.e. 15 days from the date of being in receipt of the policy document as mandated by the Insurance Regulator and Development Authority (IRDA).
· The company has sent you SMS (Short Message Service) on registered mobile number confirming the policy details, however no concern highlighted thereby implying that you agreed to the policy terms and conditions and that the same was in consonance with the said application form.
· Further, we understand that application for the aforesaid policy was logged through ICICI Securities web portal from your secure login section with your login id and password, therefore it is implied that the said policy was issued with your consent and do not required any signature for issuance of the policy.
· Company received your first concern on March 27, 2014 after 2 years 6 months from issuance date of the policy.

We wish to state that all our products are filed with and approved by the Regulator and any benefits under our policy are paid strictly in accordance to policy terms and conditions.

In view of the above and in keeping with the policy terms and conditions, we are unable to comply with your request.

We do hope to have addressed your concern.

I think you again haven't read the earlier mail and also the initial complaint completely or did not understand it or pretending that way.

1. I said I didn't receive any document. Please confirm the document that was delivered to my residence was received by which person, Mr. Ashok or me/any-of-my-family-member.

2. My complaint is about online fraud that was committed by a ICICI direct personnel/our relationship manager Mr. Ankur Srivastava while giving us demo of ICICI direct online portal. He logged in from my PC to ICICI direct online portal using my login/password with my consent. But he invested our hard money in ICICI Pru policy without telling us/without our permission/without our consent saying that he is investing that money in Gold. So saying that it happened with my consent is false. Did you do investigation from your side on following:
- Did you check that Mr. Ankur Srivastava was a ICICI direct employee and our relationship manager?
- Did you check whether ICICI direct send their relationship managers to customers to give demo of online ICICI direct portal and teach customers how to buy/sell shares?
- Did you check that Mr. Ankur Srivastava (our relationship manager) had come to our house to give demo of ICICI direct online portal on date Aug 9, 2011 when this policy was requested? (Ankur might have updated this in his report along with the time he was in our house)
- Did you check that on date Aug 9, 2011 when this policy was requested, some DLF shares were also bought on my behalf during the period Ankur was in our house? At this time Ankur was operating our account and giving us demo of how to buy/sell shares. And during the same time he told us that he is investing our Rs. 25000 in gold but instead invested in ICICI Pru policy without our consent.

3. If I had willingly taken this policy I would have paid all the premiums of the policy regularly as I do for my other policies. But because it was mis-selling/fraud we did not know anything about the policy. You must take disciplinary action against people like Ankur and help the victims.

4. On complain after 2 years and 6 months: I came to know about this fraud only after a year when I contacted ICICI direct customer care to know about my Rs. 25000 that I thought was invested in Gold. After that came to know that my money is invested in ICICI Pru Policy. During the same time I was going through pregnancy, went to my native for delivery, came back after a year and then started pursuing on this.

5. About the SMS: What was the content of this message. Did it explain the policy? Did it say that in order to cancel the policy I should revert within 15 days? Did it say that Rs. 25000 was paid to ICICI pru from my ICICI direct account? If not then how on earth I would know what exactly has happened, whether its a fake message or sent by mistake. Only policy document would have helped, which I never received. Why didn't you follow the simple procedure of calling me to explain/confirm the policy that you do for other customers?

See how unprofessional your (ICICIPru) people are. I had asked them to answer my questions to the point and had mentioned that if I don't get to the point answer will post their reply along-with my questions on online site (basically here).     I am a retired employee of icici bank ltd.The bank has purchased annuity from I pru life insurnce co ltd for regular payment of pension timely on monthly basis.My id is 47746.The co did not make payment of pension for the month of March and enquiring from the employer, it has been asked to submit the live certificate which i submitted on 24/04/2014 and on various dates later on .It has been told that the said document was not recieved whereas the documents were sent over mail to the employer and ins co and all the mails were delivered as all communications are available on sent mails and no mail is reported bounced .At last i sent print out of all my mails to the employer which were sent to ins co and on the basis of which my pension for March, April and May were released on 17/06/2014 that is after 3-1/2months.Mean while I had marriage of my son on 24/05/2014 and you can imagine the financial hardship i must have faced but some how i managed the marriage by external borrowing.Thus the employer in connivance with ins co which is also related to the bank caused mental agony deliberately with the ulterior motto to humiliate me to the fullest extant.I therefore request to investigate the reasons for such an abnormal delay in payment of pension and officers of i bank and ins co ltd involved in this conspiry should be heavily penalised so that no body in future can dare to do such a big conspiracy Further compensate me by Rs 51000 towards mental agony and Fd rate on the amount of pension for the delayed period

      My adviser Debasish from ICICI pru life insurance showed a different plan Maximiser Fund V and collected all my documents signed. Later on 2nd June, he applied for Guaranteed wealth protector plan with a premium Rs. 50000 without my knowledge and confirmation.This plan was never explained. Money was deducted from my credit card, which leads to major problems in my life. A different policy and premium Rs. 50000 without my knowledge and confirmation was deducted. Request to cancel the policy 18656312, refund my money, pay the losses and compensate the loses suffered by me.

        Sir, I myself Vijai Kumar, policy holder of icici prudential policy no. 13827700. the policy premium becomes due in the month of May-June every year. Since in the year 2013 I retired from govt. service on 31st March, 2013 and because of non payment of my retiral dues i failed to deposite the premium in due time. After getting my retirement benefits when i deposited the premium of Rs. 50, 000(annual) it was informed that my aforesaid policy has already been lapsed. I was asked by the icici prudential to submit the medical declaration. I was also advised to collect the prescribed form for this purpose from icici prulife office at Allahabad, Since my address mentioned in the policy papers are of Allahabad. But the fact is that after retirement presently I am working in Monad University, Hapur, U.P. as Dean, Law. I have left Allahabad and residing in Hapur. My present address is Dr. Vijai Kumar Chauhan, Dean Law Monad University, NH-24 Pilkhuwa Hapur U.P. (mobile no.[protected]) Please give address of your office somewhere in surrounding of Hapur suchas Meerut or Ghaziabad from where i may collect the required form and submit the same within required period .           Dear Sirs, My name is GK Nair and my mob no is [protected]. I have a policy with your organisation. The policy is kept in my office. Today being a holiday, I am not able to provide you the no of the policy. One month back one person named Sushil Rawat with Mob no.[protected] spoke to me saying that he is customer complaint manager and told me the following details. "That my existing policy with ICICI Prudential is running in loss and that I can obtain refund for the same if I wish so. For this purpose, , I need to take another corporate insurance worth Rs. 40 000/ and he referred my name to Birla Sun Life Insurance. He promised me that If I do so, by 15th April, I will get a refund of Rs. 1, 98, 000/- against my policy from ICICI Prudential. He told me that he will require my application no and cheque no for processing my case. This I gave it to him on 28th of March after tasking the BSLI policy on 27th." Till that time there were repeated calls from this person, assuring that my refund would be obtained 110% by 15th. However, after 15th and 16th when I tried contacting this person, there was no response from this mobile nor was there any refund to my account. Today is 20th and still there is no remittance to my account. There is no reply from his mob no either. I request you to kindly look into the matter and give me a confirmation. With regards, GK Nair

            1. The above said Policy was issued for a term plan of 10 years and fell due on 01.04.2014
            2. Even though, normally Insurance Companies like LIC of India send advance intimation of maturing policies to the Assured and ask them to return the Insurance Policy document with other documents like ID proof and Bank details for sending electronic payment or by cheque, ICICI Prudential Life did not send any intimation until I sent them email asking them why they did not send any maturity information notice, they sent notices asking me to invest in their Pernsio Policies, which I was not interested.
            3. I went to their Branch in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu State and gave my letter seeking payment of my policy on maturity. The staff said that no letter is required for this; but only I need to sign the surrender form.
            4. Even then I asked the staff that I need to get payment only on maturity; she did not answer properly but wanted me to submit the surrender form along with documents for proof of ID and Bank details, which I submitted thinking that I will be paid only on 1.4.14.
            5. However, ICICI Prudential Life chose to close my Policy before maturity treating my request for surrender in March 2014 as request for prematured payment, which was not my intention.
            6. ICICI Prulife staff should have told me that I need to submit the application only on 1.4.14 if I need to get the maturity proceeds on due date.
            7. Which they did not do and this is clearly a deficiency of service. It is expected of them to explain to clients that they need to submit applications / claims for payment on maturity of Policy and they should not submit earlier.
            8. Because of this deficiency of service, ICICI Prulife is not paying me the Terminal Bonus of Rs. 20000/= which was intimated to me as payable vide their notice.
            9. I have sent numerous emails to customer care and they replied that as I surrendered the Policy in March 2014 before the due date of maturity, I am not eligible for the Terminal Bonus.
            10. They have not cared to explain the reasons for the deficiency of service of their staff not informing or advising me when I went in person to submit my request for payment of the Policy on matuirty date.
            11. When I have paid all the 10 years premia and having waited for 10 years, they should know that I could have waited for one more month, i.e. till 1.4.14 to submit my claim form for payment on maturity.               I have taken a ICICI Pru Suraksha (RP) Policy vide No 00873920 during 2008 from ICICI
              Prudential Company. The annual premium
              was Rs. 50, 000.00 and the payment was
              made through online money transfer. But
              neither I have received the policy certificate nor any intimation from
              the company. Normally, in case the
              company do not accept the money, for any
              reason whatsoever, the amount is returned back to the same account. I was posted in Vizag during that time and as
              far as I remember the money was
              transferred from SBH, Deepanjali Nagar, Dist. Vizag (AP). After few months I was transferred and posted by my
              employer to Kayamkulam (Kerala)and I
              have totally forgotten about the
              transaction. Now few days back I got a call from Ms. Sonia Choudhury of ICICI Prudential that my annual subscriptions
              from 2009 to 2013 is pending and they are going to foreclose the policy as I
              have failed to pay the annual premium. She said that the details of my failure
              and the action proposed to be taken would be given by Mr. Vikas, Relationship
              Manager of ICICI Prudential and I have to talk to him.Accordingly, I have
              talked to him on 19th and 21st March 2014. He informed me
              that I have to pay Rs. 3.00 lakhs (Five years premium @ Rs. 50, 000 p.a. plus
              penalty Rs. 50, 0000) to revive the policy. The second option is foreclosure of
              policy which will entitle me to get 10% of the premium paid i.e Rs. 5000.00 and
              they will retain Rs. 45, 000.00. The third option is converting into a single
              Premium policy for which I should have taken an insurance policy after 1st
              Oct. 2013 either from them or from Reliance General Insurance Company, which I
              don’t have. I am a retired employee and
              I cannot pay this hefty amount so the option left is foreclosure loosing Rs.
              45, 000.00 of my hard earned money. I
              want to repeat during all these years till March 2014 at any time they have not
              reminded me about the non payment and the most important matter is that they
              have not sent the policy after receipt of the policy.

              My contention is for the mistake of ICICI prudential why
              should I suffer. They have not given me the policy. They never reminded during
              the past 5 years that my premium is pending. All of a sudden they have come
              with this plan. This is day light cheating and gives an impression that we
              cannot believe ICICI prudential. I have never expected that a big nation wide
              and renowned company will cheat customers like this.

                Respected sir, I have an ICICI PRU Pinnacle Super-LP, policy No. 17593394. Sir, I was not interested to buy this policy. But this policy is forcefully sold to me in march 2013 by ICICI bank, L.P. Savani road, Surat. I wanted a bank locker but the official said to me that if you will purchase this policy than only we will provide you a bank locker. So i have to purchase this policy to take a possesion of a bank locker. when this policy was forcefully sold to me, I was not explained each and every term and conditions regarding this policy and I was totally misguided. they have told me that in case of discontinuation of the policy you will immediately received your paid premium with 4% rate of interest, but when i am asking them for the same now they are saying that you will get it after the locking period which is 5 yrs. Sir this is clear cut lie which can not be tolerated and this is clearly a fraud case and they made me a fool by hiding the policy facts. Now, sir I need a justice for my Financial and Mental harassment. I have already given a grievance in written to the ICICI Prudential, Parle Point, Surat. and I have also file a complaint to the consumer forum and IRDA. Sir please help me in my fight for my justice as these people are making fool to the society and it is really un-tolerable thing ny financially and mentally also. so please help me in my fight to take back my money as well as the compensation for my financial and mental harassment.                   Hello Sir, I have purchased policy ICICI Pru Pinnacle Super –LP, policy # 17374937 and wanted to register the issue I am facing. 1 year ago, I wanted to submit my investment proofs in the company by 17th Jan 2013. So on 17th Jan 2013, I went to ICICI bank office in magarpatta, Hadapsar to make a Tax saver FD. The representative there β€œNavin Jaiswal ” suggested me to purchase a ICICI Pru Pinnacle Super –LP, and explained me that this policy is better than FD with below features. There will be only one time payment with 5 years lock in period. You will be able to retrieve the total funds available in the policy after completing 5 years. There will be no hidden charges, whole amount you pay is invested like FD. I found these features useful for me, So I purchased the policy with RS 50, 000 payment. After 1 year I received SMS and emails regarding premium payment for next years, so I called the customer care and then was shocked to know that I will not get any of the features mentioned above. They further explained me that the policy which I have purchased is not having one time premium payment but a 5 year premium payment and I will not get whole amount after 5 years but I can withdraw partially. Mr. Navin Jaiswal also did not explained about policy allocation charges and administration charges will be deducted from the policy. So now I think that I have been cheated by ICICI prudential company & the agent Mr. Navin Jaiswal and hoping that my whole money with interest will be returned to me. And strict action will be taken against Mr. Navin Jaiswal. I have made a written complaint for the same in ICICI bank Magarpatta city branch on 22 Jan 2014 (PFA complaint receipt). But the bank have not contacted me back. Also please see the attached photo copy of my application form where agent name is written as Navin Jaiswal. After this I made a complaint to ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co. Ltd but they said that my money will not be returned to me. Please let me know if you need more details and hoping that this issue will be resolved sooner.

                      Policy number:0303212 I had enrolled ICICI Prudential policy in 2006 and paid 20 months premium of Rs 68, 000. Due to my personal problems I was not able to continue to pay remaining 16 months premiums. Now I need that money back but they told me you will not get a single rupee if policy is foreclosed. I am highly unsatisfied with ICICI Prudential ULIP. I asked them to apply some penalty and return my remaining amount. Your customer care service is pathetic. They did not respect customers and business ethics. I had enrolled policy for my better future but now I came to know I was totally wrong.

                        Hi. My name is Jayesh. I am from UK. I have been lied to and have been sold life insurance. They advised me in branch to break my FD of 10 Lacs and put my money in fixed bonds where I will be getting a fixed return of 12%. I was not told that it was a life insurance policy and I was not told that I will have to pay premium every year.

                        I also had a similar experience. Every December when I visit India these ICICI Prudntials sales girls flock to sell their products. Trusting the sales talk I invested Rs 5L every year for a term of 5 years in the ICICI Pru Pinnacle Super Policy. In the first year my invest is down 15% to rs 4.30 lacs. During the same period. The senses has jumped from 17, 500 to 21, 500 a jump of 25%.

                        What a erosion of wealth. I am a NRI to and my recommendation to all NRIs is to not believe any sales talk of ICICI Prudential. You are better of investing in FDs or real estate and protect your capital. ICICI PRu are wealth destroyers and will erode your wealth promising you all these fancy returns. I have now stopped paying premium and am trying to protect my future capital. A lesson learnt the hard way.

                          Dear Sir/Madam, I was lured by ICICI Bank executive of Velachery branch saying that there is a new retirement solutions policy from ICICI Prudential which is not ULIP based. I applied for the policy. When the policy document came, I was shocked to see that the policy was ULIP based. I wanted to cancel the policy and as per the instructions in the policy document, I returned the policy document to ICICI Prudential's HO in Mumbai. It was delivered to them on 26-Dec-2013. From then on, I am trying to follow up with ICICI Prudential on the policy cancellation, but I am not getting any reply. On 27-Dec, one executive of ICICI Prudential (Tambaram branch) called me to get the courier reference number. But then on, he too is not responding to my calls. I complained against that person to ICICI Prudential but again, no response. The policy premium amount is 1 lakh which is a huge sum for me.                             My policy No :12756407, I paid the cash at ICICI bank in Tuticorin, I expected my paid reciept would have been drawn from net, but in vain.Since the mobile Number entered in the doc.is not relavent, as [protected], which is not working
                            And also there is no e- mail ID provided in.

                            When I ask for reciept, it ask for e-mail ID as well as mobile number. In this case i gave only Land line Num alone.
                            Then I registered both, it is also not accepting.
                            I send an e- mail to the head office, There is no reply.
                            I also contacted the relevent officer in the bank, He asked for remember it at 07.00 pm, I do then I tried many times, he was also not responding, I doubt is there it is helpful for the investor or any other inner trensactions going on ?

                            I expect the offcial reciept at the earliest.

                                My wife owns a Super Pension policy 06745076 for that premium was due on 19-Nov-2013. On 18th November I got a call from ICICI call center and they asked me if I would prefer some help for improving the profits of my policy and I said ok. Few hours later two persons met me and told me not to pay the premium. They told they would take over portfolio management of the policy and bring maximum benefits. I told them I dont need any new policy for that they said its not a new policy. Next day they came to my house and took details of my credit card and told me they would come back after 15 days to set up everything and insisted I should not pay any more premiums.Next day 30K Money was taken from my credit card I got a reference number from icici. As per them, After this 30K, subsequent allocation will be done from the existing policy of my wife. Since she was not available at home then, they made me as the proposer. Later on it became difficult to contact them. I sensed some problem so contacted ICICI pru call center yesterday. I now learnt that a new policy wealth builder is under proposal with the reference number I gave for which premium is 25K not 30K. She told me to go to a branch for cancellation if I dont want. But for the existing policy of my wife, she has to pay the premium immediately. Ref no OS00047971. My Phone:[protected].                                   I received a call by Nidhi Gupta mob. No. [protected] as a officer of TATA AIA life insurance co and convinced me for 2 policies by name of Tata aia life insurance co. After 4 months she called me again and said that "You got a bonus from company so you will have to pay security amount and this amount will be refundable that type of 3 instance came and she convinced me for above 3 policies by name of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance co. Company Policy No. Date Name [protected][protected][protected][protected][protected][protected]-------- 1) ICICI Prudential Life Insurance 17441454 4/2/2013 Kalpeshbhai Khalasi 2) ICICI Prudential Life Insurance 17614565 20/3/2013 Kalpesh Khalasi 3) ICICI Prudential Life Insurance 17703214 18/4/2013 Kalpeshkumar Khalasi I don't want to continue these policies which are opened by some fraud person.                                     Policy number:02507591 I have taken the policy in 2006 and paid yearly premium of 9, 000 RS. I have paid two premiums and had totally had 346.0819 units of MAXIMISER Fund. Due to some personal problems I could not continue to pay the premiums. I have not been informed about my policy closure and agent also did not tell me anything about "What will happen If we failed to pay the premium?" Recently I was checking ICICI Prudential Online by logging to the system, found that my policy does not exist at all.I have sent a mail to ICICI Prudential to get the clarification. I have not gotten response yet.
