Due to disturbance in service I want to PORT my Idea connection to some different vendor but when I text "PORT MyMobileNumber" to 1900 then I see error message "Message not sent. Phone number formatted incorrectly".

I have verified that I am typing my cellphone number correctly.

When I visited customer care center at "Viman Nagar, Pune" the representative said I am having unlimited pack on my number right now and that pack is not capable to send PORT message. I must do another recharge at least of Rs.35.

When I called 198, the representative said Idea and Vodafone integration is in progress and thus there is an issue in sending PORT message.

My complaint queries are:

1. Why why why two different answers from 2 different representatives?
2. If my unlimited pack is not able to send PORT message then why it is called Unlimited pack?
3. What about the amount I paid for my last recharge in exchange of reliable service which I haven't received?
4. How can I send PORT text ASAP?

    Idea has deducted ₹5.00 from my mobile balance. I didn’t send any message to anybody, even though they charged me of ₹5.00.
    Please accept my complain about my issue.
    Idea is the company having many issues lately about the network coverage and about internet.
    It doesn’t give the better service than others, ducting the credit from customer accounts.

      We had recently shifted to Kasba Peth Pune-411011. Using Idea Sim since year 2004, but it is very surprising that the network Coverage in Kasba peth pune, is very poor. I raised the customer complaint on their portal C[protected] dated 15/09/2019, without action it is closed on record.         I received a message from 53010 stating "dear customer, you have been charged rs 10 and your current balance is rs xx". Without my permission they just deduct my balance and i didn't get any details regarding the deduction of my balance. So i called the idea customer care, and they say that i had purchased the game but i didn't purchased any game. The phone which i am using has games which does not have the facility to install the game or app. So i called up idea customer care again but they keep on saying the same again and again that i've bought the game. Didn't get any solution from customer care and refund of my balance and its not helping. Need a solution.

            I get the calls from [protected] almost everyday. They ask me to give the line to umesh thakkar who is an auto driver and i hired his auto for few days in recent past. I told the lady several times before that i can't give the line to umesh as i have no connection with him. I am ca working in a respected in respected position of a reputed company. Why i get calls everyday for an auto driver? The lady was not ready to understand and told me abusively that teh call will keep on coming till the time i share that auto driver details. This is not acceptable at all. I want immediate action against this.

            I recharge 149rs today According to Idea Recharge scheme of 149rs 21 Gb data for

              I tried to send port message to 1900 from my idea number [protected] by using format port to port to jio. How ever the messages are not being sent, it shows sending failed. I have tested sending messages to other numbers and it works but messages sent to 1900 are being blocked. I have talked to idea customer care who repeatedly states that they couldn't find any reasons why port messages wouldn't be delivered. Please help

                I have recharged for rs. 199/- on 06/08/2018 through amazon pay app with below reference number.

                Wrong mobile number : [protected]
                Correct mobile number : [protected]
                Date & time of transaction: 21/09/2019

                I have called the customer care to reverse the recharge and transfer the recharge to the correct number. No one is ready to listen and help me in this regard.

                Is it always the case that no one will ever make any mistake while recharging or you don't care to resolve such issues?

                Please assist.

                If i don't get proper response, i might have to approach consumer court to get justice in this case.

                  Sir,
                  My mother is having an idea prepaid connection [protected] kerala circle, which is mainly intended for calling purpose.
                  It was having a balance of around rs.240 about two days back. (20.09.2019).in the two days in between 20.09 and today 22.09, the balance of the account has been reduced to zero.in fact there were not much outgoing calls from this number in these two days. Hardly we used about 100mb data as verified by the customer executive in this period. Today morning the balance was rs.113, which was reduced to zero by the use of hardly 30mb by the evening.
                  I feel the account balance has been drained out with no satisfactory explanation for the same. I could not get a satisfactory explanation from the customer care executive also.

                  Phone Calls are getting dropped. Sometimes calls are not getting connected though the network is available .
                  Unable to establish communication due to low coverage network or missing Network. Had several follow up with customer care but no solution yet.
                  Issue is approximately from 2-3 months.

                    You have approved for idea 4g tower fixation. Someone called asking for idea 4g tower fixation in our land and says 25k rent, one job for the family and some advance for the 10years period.

                    Can i believe in that, it says idea networks pvt ltd.

                      I am unable to send port out message from my idea sim... I contacted idea customer care but they are constantly ignoring and saying problem will be solved.. But still i cant send port out msg... And i have checked that messages to others are going but this port out message to 1900 is blocked from my phone no so plzzz help me out... Please help me out... I have called customer care but they are not helping. They are just saying that we have sent u settings the problem will be solved...                           Hi,

                          I am trying to generate my upc number and it keep saying message sending failed, message is not going to 1900.
                          When i called customer care they said to me change sms service center number i did everything but message not going to only 1900.
                          Have you blocked my number only for 1900??!! So that i can't get porting number ha?
                          I hope you would look in to this issue.

                            Data service is ongoing very well...but voice service is not available on my number...even...I can't call 198 too...
                            What should I do...
                            I have complainted twice but my problem still unsolved...

                                I had submitted my request for postpaid to prepaid conversion in may 2019 and was asked to pay outstanding bill of around rs 100 and my process was initiated. My number was converted to prepaid later on and i have been using it since then.

                                I received an sms on sept 7, 2019 regarding pending bill of rs 360 out of nowhere for which idea is unable to provide any physical or online bill now, and if failing to pay within 7 days some legal action would be taken. I called the idea customer care and humbly requested them to suggest me some way to clear my dues or atleast send a online payment link, just in case which they failed to provide. They state they have no records for the same but i need to pay the amount without bill.

                                  I just received my bill for august 2019, i am currently using nirvana 399 plan. I have only used 82 messages out of 100 and yet i have incurred 90/- extra chanrges for9 premium messages. Also i am using a basic phone so i cannot download any apps etc. I have been charged 110/- for 11 wap downloads. Now this has never happened before. I urge them to remove these charges from the bill

                                    My name is rohit patil. My idea no. Is [protected]. Few days back i ported my sim to idea from jio. First they take more than 15 days for my sim activation. After that more than 20 days are over and till now my first activation rechage had not been done by the idea store. At the time of the sim porting i had already paid money to the idea centre.. After all i tried to do the fa recharge from my idea appon 20.9.2019.. The money has been deducted from my bank balance and the recharge has not been done.. The app not showing the recharge history also.. Worst seevice by the idea cellular.. And the idea store.. Last time also i complained about the same jo. They hadnot ressolve the issue kindly.

                                      I have received a call from idea voice chat service after lifting call charged rs. 30 what's this? Without any pack subscribed why you charge? Immediately refund the money deducted and activate dnd and block all ads on my number immediately!

                                      Here without my permission how aides company activate and charge for a pack?
                                      Is this fraud company in india?
                                      If resolution not provided will port out soon!

                                      Initiate ra. 5000 penalty on idea company and provide composition of ra. 2000/-

                                        My name is sai sanketh and my mobile number is [protected]. I have activated amazon prime 1 year free service on[protected] & dialer tone on[protected]Complimentary service for nirvana plan) and i felt i dont want both the services and i have deactivated both of them on[protected]. But the complimentary service of both the apps got deactivated and automatically with in less than 8 seconds both the services got activated to paid mode. But i deactivated both of them as i dont want them from my mobile. So for this i was charged rs 999 for amazon prime and rs 39 for dialer tone from idea postpaid account. I can surely tell that this all this drama happend because if poor idea apps which has errors in it. And later immediatly i deactivated again through sms on the same day with in an hour. But idea has barred my service from[protected] saying high usage. I took this issue through ocustomer care for about 10 times from[protected], and dropped so many mails to [protected]@vodafoneidea.com and [protected]@vodafoneidea.com. Finally visted idea store of begumpet branch and then send me to head office i. E basheerbagh branch in hyderabad on[protected]. But even there they didnt solved the problem. Finally on[protected] i got call from hari priya (Idea executive) telling that i have only activated amozon prime through amazon prime app, with any proper record and she argued with me for 10 minutes but in the entire argument she couldnt give reason and just telling me that i have only activated and then asked how come dialer tone got activated by itself i deactivate it, but she didnt answer to that point and just divert the issue and asks me to pay and idea cant waive me the amount, for which i didnt agreed. The entire week the idea people litteraly troubled me by barring my service which has affected my bussiness calls. And sorry to say customer care people are useless with worst sevice litteraly tortured me for 1 week with out any proper response to call and with out reply to mails. From[protected] the idea deactivated my service i. E. Internal calls, messages every thing and on the same time iam in traveling and i called customer care from my friend number and asked for the reason, they asked me to pay the highbilled amount, so as iam in traveling and because of emergency situation i paid the bill, but the service not got activated. I asked customer car for not getting activated, one told it will get activated in 4 hours, and after 4 hours they told it will get activated by end of the day. But even at the end if the day it got activated, then finally with hotel wifi in my travel i manage to take this issue and make my situation understand through idea chat, then he again told it will get activated in 4 hours, and i told him that so many 4 hours completed and upto now and network didnt got activated, then he told that till now the morning people to whom i spoke in morning didnt raised this issue only it didnt got activated and told that i need to face this. And this contiued for one more day and at[protected] i got service, but the customer care called me that i got the service but the amount cant waived back. So literally idea had put me in soup for choosing the postpaid sevice and gave me the hell and literally stressed me out for 12 days and effected my travel and my bussiness.in this entire month i was not having service for 10 days, but i need to pay for it as i choosed postpaid sevice so i request consumer court to scrutiny this issue and help me out : 1. Get my money back that i was charged and i spent in fighting this issue and loss i went through. 2. Take necessary action again idea to rectify there apps and train their customer care executives in better way and this wont happens to any other and no one goes through this mental agony and financial loss.
