Sir, myself deepak kumar. I had an idea postpaid sim, got ported out recently on 08/08/17 to airtel. My concern is regarding security deposit of (Rs.150/-) and last payment with idea of (Rs. -119/-) which yet to be paid. I visited the idea store after got ported out and told to wait for 90 days as the money will get refund automatically by cheque to my mailing address. But till the date it has not done. I have attached my last bill with idea dated 01/09/17. Pls find it.

      I have been using idea 4g data card for past 1 months, but they have been started to charge the vas charges for two daya. This is absolutely fraud with customers. As they are saying this is third party links and do not have any control. Then why is first place they are allowing such links to appear. I have never requested for vas or subscription of any such services. I had sent message to deactivate the service but instead of deactivating the service they are charging twice for one more another service activation. They have saying they have no logs of which service has been activated nor any control of deactivation as it is third party. Who has asked you to give third party service.

      Just shut down your voice msgs.im using jio and when im calling an idea number u are telling a 1 minute of promotional voice message and then connecting cal.so i have to change my sim now due to this torture from you?just stop this kind of cheap tricks on other network users.show ur promotiona hacks or tricks to ur customers ONLY

        Hi team,

        My number ([protected]) got deactivated by idea even though i was doing regular recharge on it and when i brought this number/mobile along with me in uk.

        I have this number linked to so many places and idea team is not even listening or ready to help.

        I am in uk and cannot go physically there to their shops but when my family visited or i called them they completely denied to support.

        Awaiting some help and guidance on this.

        Looks like Idea have assigned this number to some one else though I was recharging it . You have terminated my number and so quickly assigned to someone else ? Is it inline with TRAI's regulation?

        Dear Consumer Forum Team,

        Will you be able to help /guide in this case as I can clearly see this is unfair business from Idea Cellular Ltd.

        My number was active, I moved abroad for some months and I recharged in between and they have terminated and reassigned number to someone else without even waiting for cool off period.

If your Email Id is not registered with us first register your Email Id follow these steps send EMAILID<space> Email address to 12345. For example EMAILID<space>[email protected]. Also, you can check your outgoing call details in My Idea Application or Website.

          Hello,

          I had recently topped up my balance to the number [protected] few weeks ago and then got charged to these vas services one after another.

          "your rainbow": 150rs | 18/11/2017
          "gamepind": 35 rs | 20/11/2017
          "your combo plus": 150rs | 22/11/2017

          Now i have 44 rs balance left. I barely used around 20rs on calls. This is blatant robbery and i want a refund to my balance.

              I have eight idea (Prepaid/postpaid) connections in my family. I keep on receiving information about idea offers, remaining balance, other unwanted irritating messages every-time on my screen as well as sms. I am thinking of deactivating the connection because it irritates me a lot.

              Let me know if you need any further information from my end. I am not comfortable in sharing all my idea numbers on this portal. I can share them on your email id.

                  I got call from [protected] no and the person had all my credit card details including dob and address. He claimed that he is from sbi credit card department and had no doubt to suspect. He told me i have earned reward points and he is gonna initiate claim, to claim that they initiated transaction on my card and asked an otp. That was first debit and them he forced me to do few more transaction to get the credit. Same was happened with me on my both credit cards and i realised its fraud but he didn't listen. I have almost lost 30000 rs is there any way to resolve this i reported this to the customer care and blocked my card and asked for help.

                    I recently was forced to convert to postpaid 4 months back, by telling my name in the details was not correct and also said that i could convert to prepaid after 3 months but when i went after 3 months they said to come after 30 days.
                    Now when i go there they are telling to come on particular day which is not possible for me due to work. So i request you to look into it as they are telling these are the company rules and regulation.

                      Hi idea,
                      I have bought new idea sim [[protected]] on 16 nov 2017 and on 21 nov 2017 i got sms on my alternate number to activate sim by calling 59059. From that time i am trying 59059 but it is not connecting.

                      I got sms on my number to call 59059 and get your connection activated but 59059 is not connecting. Pls provide any other number or activate services of my new idea number [[protected]].

                          I recharged my prepaid account for rs. 179/- as per idea's website offers. There it is clearly mentioned as "unlimited local/std calls, 1gb internet + 1gb on web recharge". After recharging i tried to call on number [protected]. I got voice message as "is call ke liye aapaka bal kum hai". I immediately called on idea customer care # 12345. I have been told that it is applicable only for mobile calls. I told him that it is not mentioned that it is applicable only for "mobile calls". It is clearly mentioned as "unlimited local/std calls".

                          The information given on idea's website is clear cheating, it is purposely done to confuse / cheat customers. Actual service/benefits given to customers are not as per their advertisement / official offers.
                          Many times customers double recharge / recharge again for more amount for std calls.

                          There are thousands (Millions) of customers cheated and earned money by such mobile service providers.

                          I request trai to look in such cases and check how many such customer are cheated by giving falls information.

                            I am trying to connect custmare care executive a no. Of time after logged a port request from idea postpaid to prepaid connection. But thet havn't process my request then call them for stop my connection don't wanna use any more as have so much network issue. Dialed customer care no. 10-12 times and wait for their sr. More then 60mins per call but no one is there to answer a common reply sr. Is busy with some other call so plz hold the line. This is really disgusting i requested to everyone plz not to connect with this netwrok. Really shamful for such a big brand.

                                My brother went to the store as my sim was nt working and it was informed to him that registered person has to come with the copy of adhar card and tone of store manager and body language of mr bhavani store manager was like a criminal or like a illiterate person. He do not what is customer services and was having tobaco in his mouth and busy on his mob in front of my brother.
                                In the evening i went and showed the copy of aadhar to his colleague ms ruchika and was discussing to get this sim started and she was insisting i need to bring the original. During our conversation mr bhavani came in between having tobacco in his mouth and a very high tone nd rude body language.
                                High tone was very high nd not ready to listen just trying to bullying on me. I told him is this way to speak to an old customer he replied that tere se toh aacha hi bol raha hu tu sikhaga.
                                I told him to gv me a paper nd he said they dont hv a piece of paper nd in a threatning way u wl make complaint go ahead nobody wil do anythin. We hv the cameras. I told that is great.
                                Do you think is this mr. Birla vision abt customer service and is this the way.

                                If any management is there. They should just go to this jangpura center nd just see this store. They are happy nobody shd come to the.

                                I wll nt leave this here i have not seen this type of embarresement in my life being a customer a staff is telling me hw to speak

                                  I am rajasekahra rao k (Phone number is [protected]). After clearing all the dues and and paying rs100 extra, i ported from idea to jio. Then after a month idea has sent us a bill of 828.72. They have charged very high prices arbitrarily saying that they have applied proration. I was not even informed about this before and when asked to customer care, they are vaguely telling that they charge like that to everyone. Ther is no logic in their side and its like they are penalising me for changing the network. Kindly look into the matter and see that my money is refunded back soon.

                                    I would like to complain for idea-aditya birla group, since last 6 months i was recharging with the amount of 346/- in which i was getting ul calls & 1gb/day data for 28 days. Dated 20-11-17 i have done a recharge for same amount in which i have received only 15 days calling free with no data. I have communicated to call center people they said nothing can be done.
                                    In march i have also received a on screen message in which it was mentioned "if you recharge today for 346 for next 12 months you will be eligible for the offers"

                                    Kindly request to look into the matter.

                                      There hasn't been any notification provided for the rule that your recharge will be lapsed if you do the same recharge twice and when that happens there is no solution for that. Also stupid services when get activated by chance provide the option to deactivate but there is nothing they do for refund. Are we supposed to call customer care everyday? For everything? And isn't is quite logical to have a refund if you are not using a service and deactivating it? These are the issues that occur due to lack of information provided to the customer. You wish us happy diwali and all but providing information must be your first concern. The customer care attendants on the other hand are not sorry about it... They could apologies at least for the mistakes of the company they are working in.

                                        I was a idea postpaid customer and i have paid the bills till 11 jul 2017 and called customer care to deactivate my sim but no one has forward my call to concern department and i called them twice after that and stopped using sim. Now idea is sending email with legal notice header. As per there customer care if you are a postpaid customer you have to pay the bill even if you not using sim till it get deactivated. Idea intentionally don't forward call to cancellation team so customer cannot go ahead with cancellation and they can get illegal money by harassing them. If they want to go court i will go but not ready to pay amount which i have not used
