Mail content which i sent to idea customer care:

I used the number [protected] from the year 2007 to the year 2011. I closed this connection and i shifted my work from pune to chennai. Since the year 2012, i didnt used this number. I understand this number is alloted to some one else after me.

Surprisingly all of sudden, i received a mail in the year 2016 to pay the due amount for this connection.

Again last month i received a mail mentioning that amount due is inr 3042 and to pay the amount before 9th sep'17 or to appear before the court.

Without knowing the background of the issue i paid the amount to avoid any action.

Since then i am following with idea customer care to show the back up for inr 3042, but till today i didnt received the due back up calculation.

Following are the questions which i expect idea customer care to answer:

1) back up for inr 3042. If you are not able to provide the back up how i am responsible to pay the amount
2) why there is no follow up from your side for pending due from the year 2012 to the year 2016.
3) in one mail you are mentioning this mail id ([protected]@yahoo.com) is registered against this mobile number and in another mail you are mentioning this mail id is not registered in your records.

Even after so many mails to idea customer care to close this connection till today there is no official mail that my account is closed from idea cellular. I wonder whether they planned to charge me after 5 years for this inactive number.

The following questions are still open
Do the customer needs to pay the monthly rent even after he communicate to the customer centre to close the connection?
5 years monthly rent accumulated and asking customer to pay the amount. What is the meaning of closing request raised to the customer care by phone?

      From the past one month idea has been activating some stupid service automatically from their side without my consent and has been deducting my balance for it. Inspite of complaining to the local idea store this issue has not been solved and i am frustrated with the company. I will surely burn their sim card after some time and i am never ever going to recommend idea to anyone. Good for nothing company may you suffer as much as you have made your customers suffer.

        I am using idea postpaid service (Maharashtra circle) since last 7 years but after porting to idea mumbai circle i am getting flash sms from idea power continuously for unwanted promotional value added services.
        Tried calling idea help and complaint number 198 for registering complaint but no use, no solution from idea executives!

        Please help or provide the process to stop such flash messages!

          Idea representative call me for portability of 299 std and local calls unlimited and per day 1gb dada even he has send me sms from [protected] (Mr balaji) dated 9 oct 17, so i did portability to idea. Now plan is active 350 & 1 gb data per month. Now representative mobile is inactive i had mail & call customer care no body look in out & not ready to do portability to previous operator. Below no is for portability.

            I have a query on my recharge - i did online recharge of rc 198 by selecting icon in online as shown in pic below. I don't know how it could deduct only 195 from my account and validity is changed from one month unlimited to 1 week unlimited as given in the next picture. I again tried to recharge by giving the amount manually and portal says that rc195 is not possible as shown in pic.
            If rc195 is not possible in idea portal, if rc198 icon is recharged to rc195 and reducing my validity, is it not a technical problem from idea portal? If it is not technical problem i would like to know how could i recharge 195 through online? Already one week is passed and no response from your idea to my question. Is this not amount to online cheating??

              I have taken idea postpaid corporate connection, 1 year back, and closed the connection 6 months back, with all payment done. However, i am continuously receiving messages for non payment of 522 rs and pay at the earliest to avoid legal action. I have contacted idea customer care, and the number mentioned in the message (Of advocate). However, nobody gives a clear picture of the same. The advocate whose number given, do not even bother to speak or sometimes just cut the phone. I have paid all amount while closing the connection, and i am not liable to pay anything. However, i do not have receipt of the bill paid. I never thought this would come, else i would have kept the bill payment copy. However, idea would definitely have a record of the same, still they are causing pain to their customers. I am now worried what to do.

                  Hi, i have seen 398 offer (Unlimited calls and 1gb 4g/day for 84days) in idea app and recharged on 18th of this month. But i received benefit for 70 days only (I also attached snapshots for your verification). Immediately i called to customer care and asked for the reason and they said that wait for 24 hours and the benefit will be credited automatically. I have proof of customer care executive voice clipping also. On (20/10/2017) again called and now they said that the offer is only for 70 days. They will neglect this if i don't have any proofs. Definitely they (Idea) are punishable. So, i need compensation from idea because if i neglect this, they will cheat another one.

                        I have a postpaid connection with plan of 349. With addition to rs.349/- of plan it cost rs.70/- gst charges that total cost becomes 420 approximately... But idea is taking feature charges of 50 rs. Without notifying me or without telling what is this.. So i wish to complaint about soo... The idea should do this... Their executive told me that only 400 will be billed per month and convinced me to take idea card. Now its increasing amunt

                          I became an idea customer in sept and soon after, i got a message that i have downloaded vuclip videos and i am being charged rs 25. Once the bill was raised, i complained about this since i had never even heard of vuclip videos - but they did not credit the money back.

                          As i was still fighting with them, i got a new message, that i am being charged rs100 for downloading animation from nazara - also something i have not used or downloaded.

                          It is really sad how idea is charging its customers via illegal means and not heeding to repeated complaints i want to request that my account be credited back this money which is being charged despite no usage.

                          After filing a complaint here they reversed the charges for Rs25 for october. I have filed a follow up complaint nowfor the month of November for which I had I had informed them in October. Need to see what happens now

                          As I had mentioned in my previous complaint, I am now being charged Rs 200 for downloading animation by nazara, again something I hv no idea about. And this has happened not once but twice in one month, which itself points towards customersbeing charged spuriously and fraudulenly by nazara and idea. I would like to request idea to takestrict actions against nazara fir misuse of customrr information and kindly reverse Rs 200 from mycurrent bill.

                            I got this notice from irshad ahmed. I am using this number since long around 2 years. But still getting bills. I have asked idea to close this number and i have paid 4400 inr last year as well asked them to close this no.

                            Every year idea is asking money for not using their services. Total 4400+2185 = 6585 given to idea company for not using their services.

                            Subject: - outstanding amount due and payable by you to idea cellular limited (Mpcg) under a/c no.[protected] and mobile number [protected].
                            Our client: - idea cellular limited (Mpcg) 139-140, electronic complex pardeshipura, indore-452010
                            Sir / madam,

                            Under instructions from and on behalf of our client above named, we address you as under: -

                            That our client have provided the data/internet/voice services at your (“service”) request after receiving your duly completed customer application form (“caf”).

                            As per the terms contained in the caf, you are liable to pay the various dues, charges as are applicable for availing, retaining and using the said service. As per the terms in the caf, read with the monthly statements issued by our clients for said service, our clients have regularly billed you. Despite our clients repeated requests and reminders from time to time, you have intentionally delayed and defaulted in making the payments.
                            By agreeing and accepting the terms and conditions of service as well as of the caf, you, inter alia, agreed to pay to our clients such dues and charges as detailed in the monthly statement/s of our clients. Further, you continue to remain liable for the late payments and such other charges as have been specified in the monthly statements issued by our client for the amount of such charges and fees not paid in time, up to the date of their payments. We state that a sum of rs. 2185/- is due and recoverable from you as on date.
                            We further state that, you have, despite regular requests and reminders of our clients failed and neglected to comply with the demands of our clients and clear the said dues as required.in fact, not only you have failed to make payments of the dues (Charges and fees) but also the reminders of our clients have elicited no response from you. Our client therefore states that in the circumstances stated herein before, you have become liable to forthwith pay to our clients an aggregate sum of rs. 2185/- along with the interest and charges that accrues till final payment, under the said agreement.
                            Though our client would have been justified in taking criminal proceedings against you directly, in the interest of justice and to give you a fair opportunity, we hereby finally call upon you to carry out and comply with the requisition contained in this notice within 2 days of the date of this notice, failing which our client will have no alternative but to institute appropriate legal proceedings (Civil and criminal) for the offences of cheating, fraud, misappropriation of funds, criminal breach of trust and conspiracy for recovery and strict punishment thereof entirely at your risk as to costs and consequences which please note.

                            This notice is sent to you without prejudice to my client’s other rights, claims, actions, interests and contentions or any action or police complaint already initiated or likely to be initiated against you under the aforesaid agreement.

                            Few days i have raised the request to port my no. to VODA PHONE request successfully raised because of Poor services provided by Local vendor and customer care team. after raising request immediately i have received the call from IDEA that why you are porting your no. to voda phone you are very valuable customer for us we will offer you the best services in future and will give you the best plans compare to VODA, instantly i have denied and asked to process my request for PORT after that receive msg that your request will be actioned till 27 oct.

                            Next day i have received the msg that idea has reject the port request mentioning bill out standing as i am using POST paid no. i immediately paid showing un-billed amount showing in my login. my bill cycle is 7th of every month & accordingly i have paid my bill but as per mgs i have advance paid my bill more than average bill amount of every month having receipts of same.

                            Again raised the request for PORT again received the call from another no same speech BLA-BLA i have denied and asked to port my no. again they have reject my request mention bill outstanding. till date they have reject my request 4 times even after paid advance bill.

                            This is something disgusting which i feel from IDEA, i have also marked a complained in TRAI mentioning nos where i have receive the call fro retention.

                            Immediately process my request for port in VODA PHONE other wise i will take further law of action.

                                In July I got the wrongly charged bill, I raised the complaint on the same day but they haven't resolved that and again I raise the complaint in August even They said we will process. so I haven.t paid that and again I raised the complaint on that without any intimation Idea disconnected my no. I am using that no. from past 10 Years I need that back. I went to Idea store they were telling that we won't give u back.

                                    My complaint :-
                                    I beg to submit that idea co. Persons are misreporting, harasshing & want to cheat the customers as under :
                                    1. I had applied for port [protected] on 8th oct. 2016 with an extra deposit of rs. 170.00 (In advance), rs. 100.00 on 15.10.2017, rs.50.00 on 19.10.2017 & rs. 50.00 on 22.10.2017.
                                    2. Upc code was iy 473582 valid up to 23.10.2017.
                                    That on 15th the application was rejected for a non payment of rs. 2.44
                                    3. That on 19th & on 22nd the port out request has been rejected as "i had requested not to port" which is totally false as i am continuously sending emails for port out & making complaint of harassment.

                                      I'm idea user and my no. Is [protected] my balance have been deduced from 180 to 0. Without informing me and without my permission my balance got transfered to cg_payp_timwemmoney and to cg_payp_fortumopayments.
                                      This have happened on 22 oct 2017 11:30 am. I have tried to call customer care about this issue within one hour i have called nearly 40 times but people from idea always said that all customer executives are busy call later. I don't know why idea has deducted my 180 rupees but i want my money back on the same number. Please give my money back and pick up calls.
                                      While filling complain i saw many complains similar to mine. Please stop playing such cheap tricks and kindly give my acccount balance back on my idea number[protected].

                                      I have received one sms which says "thank you for using your idea mobile number [protected] for rs.30.00 towards fortumo payments app on 27/10/2017 11:28 am. Txn id :48290339. Please contact [protected]@iappsgames.com for any queries along your txn id."

                                      Therefore i request you to please look into the matter and give my money back.

                                        I m registering complaint against idea cellular, they have deducted my balance 5 time without any reason, i called them twice to deactivate all the services & for dnd option activation, but they did not do that, in a daily bases i m getting msg that "you subscribe xyz services", i did not activate any service or any facility, even i asked them to return my balance amount which was up to 70rs, but they denied to return it, customer care executive was very rude & said we can not help you, we wont refund your amount. This is not the first time that they deducted my balance, from last 4 to 5 months the same thing is hipping with me, even they said you can to consumer forum, we can assist you,
