I had got call from +[protected] asking for my card details, to send a new photo printed credit card and the existing card will be blocked. Even though i refused to provide information, a guy who said himself as manager said its a open data and we are not asking for pin. They said u will get a verification code, plz share it with us. Once i got the code i saw it was for txn. Of 5000 from idea money. Request you to block such numbers before they call many more and cheat others.
Idea money message with otp is as below :
* is the otp for trxn of inr 5000.00 at ideamoney with your sbi card ending *. Otp is valid for 10 mins only. Pls do not share with anyone.

Idea cellular have deducted rs 25 +rs 25 and rs 100 from one of of my mobile and rs 300 from another mobile no. Without any downloading. Directly sms received that thank you for downloading and so much amount deducted.
After contacting with customer care, answer received that we are helpless you used the service. No answer about which service. Check yourself. Nothing observed on mobile.
What to do now.

Dear sir,

I had received a call from [protected] on 01:55pm (Dated 27.10.2017), where she said she was calling from sbi credit card and i have not used the reward points on my credit card and i can get the reimbursement or cash back which can be deducted from my current credit card payment.

I was reluctant to give the card details but she convinced me that the details and the otp was required to proceed with the update and reimbursement of the amount.

My credit card balance was rs. 18104.53 /-, which was all spent on those transactions. The no. Is now not reachable and that was a fraud call, and all those were fraud transactions made to idea cell bill desk.

Please, i request idea cellular bill desk to help me and get back the amount.

Mean while I expect a support from Ideamoney, as per details received from SBI Card customer care, I can get an reimbursement if the merchant does not claim the amount. I have also lodged a complaint with IdeaMoney customer care.

Please cooperate to help me get the cash back of that fraud transaction.

I, vinayak medhi paid rs.300/- on 13.10.17 to idea dsa - karvewnagar, pune... Their representative got filled in form and submitted to idea office on 16.10.17.. I got msg. From idea about receipt of my application.. Then again on 21.10.17 kyc confirmation was done. Again for the same work i completed the formalities for kyc again on 25.10.17... Mean while i was interacting with idea cces and supervisor (Suhail sayyed)... I was promised connectivity on 22.10.17 first... Then on 27.10.17... Today it 27.10.17... No connectivity... Calling many a times is of no use... No one is interested in my connectivity of no. Including idea's appealiate authority... Mail sent to them on 26.10.17 is also not replied by them... I never knew idea would be having such a worst negligent service and approach towards its 13+ yrs. Old consumer also...[protected] / my present communication alternate no. Is [protected]... I know this writting is also will be useless... Even then i am trying... Dsa also does not give receipt for rs.300/- activation.. They say it is not their practice... This all mess is really troubling small conumer like me.

Updated by vvmedhi All Big companies only ask to talk to call center executives...practically they can do nothing other than Saying " Sorry" And Thank you"..They would never give no. of their bosses..beacuse all bosses at all levels from all departments...want their peace of mind...they are hardly worried about consumers' peace of mind and service...if given to them or not...If you see no personal of even land line nos. of concerned bosses/ Managers are given ob web site...In fact..Govt. should make it compulsory for all companies to display their respective department Managers on their web site.

On 16.10.2017 i am going your idea store for inquire of my migration postpaid to prepaid connection, ms rutavi - front desktop operator told me give your thumb and activated your card, i am give there thumb, after verification she demanding for recharge i have told i have no money now for recharge then she reply give me 20 rs for activation charge, i am also given 20 rs activation charge ms rutavi then after i am demanding of bill rs, 20 she told me there no bill for activation charge and also reply that when you recharge your mobile in prepaid connection there are no bill given

I am very shock and surprise that no bill given your idea store, as instructed by the government of india, it is now mandatory to give bill for activation charge why your idea store located at v v nagar not give me bill

I am requested and requested then after ms. Rutavi - fround desktop operator giving writing that '20 rs. Has been charged for post to prepaid activation on plain paper.

I am once again requested you that still my prepaid connection not started and your good office my idea store has benn charge me rs. 20 without bill.

I am also informed your good office that i have already complain at your idea consumer care but i am un happy with your good office

How can your idea customer care worte lie and wrong you see last 2 days many call received at my mobile and your good office idea company also many call received for scheme also your good office did not tried to content me so contact could not established please investigate in this matter and logged complain also with your good officer ms bhumika rewatkar

I have bought new idea sim [protected] on 18 october 2017 nd in evening i got sms on my alternate number to activate sim by calling 59059. From that time till date i am trying 59059 but it is not connecting.

When call idea support and tell my problem they wouldn't talk logical and keep on saying pls try calling 59059. I think these less skilled resource just work like parrot and only say single line and don't give logical answer nor try to help.

I am every day getting sms on my alternate number to call 59059 and get your connection activated but 59059 is not connecting. Pls provide any other number or activate services of my new idea number [protected].

I am b madhu working as branch manager in sbi, mehdipatnam garrison branch. My official mobile number is [protected]. It is provided under tieup between idea and sbi. Suddenly from 24th of this month, services have been stopped. We are facing a lot of inconvenience as it is official number. When i contacted customer care, they told that some request has been lodged to block the sim as it has been lost. How can you block the sim without verification of the antecedents of the caller who requested to block the sim. Please restore the services immediately.

2. On 8th oct i pay advance paymetn od rs 250 on both no but still my mnp request decline by idea by giving reason bill not clear and i didn't get any mesfage regarding bill clear and what is my due amount

3. Sir i want to switch from idea becouse they are not dealing well when i went to your store for swich to idea prepaid they didn't change my no to prepaid and now i am facing problem in portability

So sir please guide me where to complaint against idea for such a worst services???

Initially, i'm in vodafone network. One fine day, my colleague got a call from idea celluar team (Neha - [protected]) and explained their offers. Since my friend is not able to understand the offers which they are explaining him. I came into the line and inquired the offers. Hence i asked that, if i switch from vodafone to idea, will you provide me a complimentary bag and watch (As there is an offer in idea long back). Immediately she said okay. After the activation, you can avail this offer. Got impressed with the offer and switched from vodafone to idea. After the activation, when i called that lady, she blocked my number. When i called to idea customer care, they said that this offer got expired a long back. We are sorry, anything else i can help you and then disconnected the call. It was very frustrating to me. Then i asked them to allow me to port to other network. Again they said sorry. My frustration into peaks and told them to cancel my number itself. They replied, sir, please don't do that sir. Be with idea. Enjoy idea services.
Although network was very poor. No where i'm getting signal. Very worst service and very worst network. All are false promises.

I request consumer court to take this issue seriously and avoid such type of promises ahead.

I already submitted a complaint earlier, i do got a call from idea celluar and they said, sorry sir that offer is not available and disconnected the call and in consumer complains, they marked my complaint as resolved. This is not at all acceptable. Pakka fruads.

I ported my mobile no. [protected] from idea postpaid to airtel prepaid in the month of august 2017, i talked to idea customer care and asked about porting, my dues and paid all my dues (Rs. 3176) as told by customer care executive. But today i got sms stating that an amount of rs. 872 is still pending for payment for mobile no. [protected]. I have no detail for such a large amount. Please look into the matter and get it solved.

As i had recharged of ₹505 (Pack o[censored]nlimited calls + 1gb 4g/3g data per day for 84 days on this number:[protected]) recharge date : 30th august 2017 and valid till 24th november 2017. But they canceled my plan yesterday (24th october 2017)
They are not giving any satisfactory answer and i complained the same at there customercare but as usual i didn’t got any satisfactory answer. I had a talk with piyush chauhan and he cut off my phone
So please help me out by resolving this query

Am really disappointed by the service provided by idea. My father went to convert his 3g sim to 4g sim few days back in the idea store near palasia idea thana indore. The old sim is no longer working and the new one is not yet started. Its been more than a 9 days that the number is not working. The person at the store are not responding properly, he is not capable to solve the technical problem being faced. This is really vary disappointing. The number is [protected]. Please get this sorted soon. This is really frustrating when your phone is not working, he is missing important calls.

I have been receiving calls from idea collections team from phone number [protected] continously for the last week asking for a payment of rs. 1000 though i never had any idea connection. Despite asking them repeatedly for the idea number that is registered in my name, they are not providing it and are harassing me.
Since today i have received 11 calls from the same number with a lady threatening me of police case if i do not pay the amount. I never had any idea prepaid or postpaid number but they are not willing to listen to me.
