In my idea sim there was approx 4.5gb 4g data on 29 july 2017 with validity till 16 august 2017. I got a message of recharge with rs 52 and get 10gb 4g data with validity of 28 days, i spoke to customer care about the same which he told me that yes this was the offer on my number & i've to recharge on the same day to get the benefit.
I even confirmed from him about the current data i had, to which he told it'll be added. I asked what if i activate the same plan twice, he said i'll get 20gb for 28 days, then i recharged with rs 52 & checked my data balance which showed my new plans data & validity & the previous data was missing.
Then i called them several times to which they received my call after 15 hrs the next day. Very shamelessly the person told me that my data has lapsed, & can't return it. To which i told i had verified from them before activation, to which he said for my recharge of rs 52 i've got the benefit & that's it, now nothing can be done, & they are even denying about the wrong information been given to me. When i told them that i shall now complain to consumer forum, trai, etc. He (Mr. Sanjay kumar) said very shamelessly & freely that "ok, go and complain", & my issue is not been resolved yet. He didn't even allow me to register my complain to them nor transferred the call to his senior. These people don't know how to treat their customers and value them. These cheapsters & fraud people can only loot our money and lapse data balance & cheat us, which they are masters in. They don't know how to be alive in the market with competition. Already half of their customers have left & the rest they have also will be leaving them soon.
Idea Cellular customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
