My family has been using below two IDEA numbers for past few months
# ******5433 - Rs.30 has been deducted twice (on 18-Oct-2015, 25-Oct-2015)
# ******5453 - Rs.21 has been deducted thrice (on 13-Oct-2015, 20-Oct-2015, 27-Oct-2015)
Complaint Number : Q1-[protected] - Not sure where to track the current status of this complaint.
Our accounts are charged for the some marketing schemes which we do not selected/agreed & does not even know about it basically.
We have called up your customer care number to deactivate the same, they confirmed that they will stop/deactivate for us.
Even after that above said amount is deducted from both mobile numbers stating as scheme is renewed again.
We again called customer care on Oct 27 2015, they replied that for some reason & system fault it was not deactivated properly. Customer care executive says..We cant help you for this to refund the money deducted.
Do we have to pay for the mistake/issues done by IDEA service?
They also told us that we selected OK in some flash messages or clicked some buttons. However, that doesn't mean that the user has given a consent to opt for the scheme.
They requested to disable the same from mobile phone, but SIM's are kept in old NOKIA model & GFIVE mobile phone which does not have such options to disable the same. Moreover my parents does not understand the ENGLISH messages & the steps.
With such kind of activation messages which we do not opted, losing money frequently from the main balance. how does uneducated people knows this kind of messages and act accordingly?
Really disappointing to use the network.
Idea Cellular customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
