Hello, Idea cellular has deducted 132 Rs. and is not writing complaint even after calling 3 executives.
I was using Idea cellular SIM and activated 8 rs. plan (after activation my balance was 136 Rs. ) that offers 20 minutes free internet. After 18 minutes the network gone so i disconnected modem and after 2 hours when network came again, i checked my balance and found 4 rs. only.

I called three times customer care. 2 times they disconnected call and third time after issuing them matter they transferred my call to senior executive and the customer care executive refused to write any complaint as they think like i am telling a lie, because there system is showing that i have used internet for 132 rs. But in reality i had NO NETWORK so i could not use any internet.

These are not believing the fact and refused to refund my balance or write any complain, following the system, I need to investigate this matter.
Using this way Idea cellular can make fool many customer like me, so i need my refund and request to correct their faulty system that deducts balance..

Idea telecom — Erroneous deduction of money

Dear Sir/ Madam,

An amount of Rs.70 was debited from my account towards Cricket updates for which I hadn't subscribed at all. It is purely an error from service providers end.

I have registered a complaint THRICE but in vain. Everytime they promise to rectify the problem within 24hrs but forget 24hrs even after 20 days nothing has been done about it. I requested them to deactivate the service immediately and although they told me that it has been deactivated, I continue to get cricket updates through sms.

Kindly make a note of the Idea complaint number 1-[protected] given on 16.04.2011.

Dear Sir,

I have lodge a complain in idea customer care that some days ago a radio station activate in my mobile without my concern and deducted amount from my ph no.Then next day i complain customer care for deactivate some one of them said that this will be deactivate within 48 hours.i call customer care again and again but they did not deactivate the same.
I want to know that are you work in manual basis?I thing you should terminated those guys who does not know about there job or else take step against them.I want to return this amount asap.

    I , dr.murali babu belonging to Vijayawada ,own a idea sim bearing the number [protected](sim number-[protected]). i bought this from a small retail shop approximately two months back .i submitted my address proof at local idea customer care centre (acknowledgement number-AD0632906 dated 23 august , 2012 .Unfortunately , i lost my mobile containing the above mentioned sim . i immediately approached the local customer care and appealed for a new sim with same number . they informed me that since the sim is not registered in my particular name, it is impossible to get the same number on my new sim . But this sim number has a lot of importance . i have my contacts , bank connections and money bills connected to the number . when i told the customer care people about this . they asked me to send a mail to your address.

    So , at any cost , i request you to reconnect my old number. i hereby submit my details to you .

    Idea — retrieval of sim number

    my name is vijay from dehradun.i am facing a very rigid prob of my sim number mentioned at the back of the sim card.which has somehow got erased off it..moreover am getting frequent messages regarding sumbission of my documents at the nearest idea office..bt the retailer is asking for the sim number.

      my no [protected] has been offered if i transfer it from voda to idea 125tt for rs 111 but after port out they refuse to give 125 and told that u ll be given only 111 for 111 for next 3 months then after 2 months only 90 balance is being given for 111 . i told this matter to customer care 198 they told that now 110 for 110. they should inform me about this scheme change or not to change this scheme as per commitment . they did not informed me due to this i lost around 5*20=100 rs tt.

        I am Vijay Chawda , having Idea Prepaid SIM using from more than 5 yr.

        Sir , On 24/10/2012 (3:19 pm) I Got SMS from IDEA that "We have Received your Request fro MOBILE TV CHANNEL Activation"

        But I had not Sent any such Request nor use Internet. Just after One Minute I had received SMS that "Your Request processed & Mobile TV Channel Activated & Rs. 50/- has been Charged" On 24/10/2012 (3:20 pm)

        I called to Customer Care & Said that I have not SENT such request & I Dont Want this Service & requested to Refund Back. They heard it & deactivated & refunded. But Just after 1-2 Hour again same thing Happened & again I said to disable all such services i dont want this on my mobile. This time also they deactivated and refunded Back.

        But Againg on 25/10/2012 (3:46 pm) same thing happened & after just one minute money is deducted for this Service. Again I called to Customer Care but this time they deactivated Service but does not refunded back.

        Again After 4-5 hours , Service is Activated & again Rs. 50/- is Deducted.

        I have Lossed 100/- & Mentally harrased by this Matter & request to forum to please help me.

        Idea Cellular India Ltd. — automatic activation of additional VAS and non deactivation after continuous reminder

        I made a request for deactivation of voice chat service (which was activated on 14-02-11 without any instruction or request from my side) by calling idea customer care on 12-03-11 and got a confirmation message from IZ-SIVR that the same will be deactivated by[protected]SR no. of the request is 1-[protected]).
        I made a further call on 15-03-11 to idea customer care when Rs 30 was deducted from my balance and the executive assured me that the balance will be refunded to my account within 24 hours but no action on the same has been taken yet.

          Hi Friends

          Idea post paid is fully cheated . I faced network problem number [protected] ,problem around 7 month at Jayanagar Bangalore , I given complaint many times no response from Idea. After 7 month not getting incoming call if called my number switched off , so again i given complaint to idea customer care , i waited 1 month every time answer from idea tomorrow u r problem will solve like that. Finally i port idea number to Aritel. I paid postpaid amount clearance. I deposited 400 Rs when i purchased Idea sim. Porting time idea care told me u will get deposit 400 Rs with 40 days. I called many times to Idea customer care. I dint get amount till now 8 month ago i dint get 400 Rs. Idea cheated me 400 Rs . Idea is fully cheated company.

            I bought an Idea Net Setter with a corporate connection with mobile no : [protected] from Idea center New Sanghvi on 31st March 2012. They promised me that on payment of Rs.2500 device will given free of cost and data usage of 5GB will be given free for every 3 months. As per their promise i got the usage limit but they charged me Rs.600 approx in the last month (July 2012) and on being asked they said that I have exceeded the limit of 5GB for that month thats why I was charged. I lodged a complaint in this regard. My point was that " I have always checked my usage before and after using device, and i knew that i have not exceeded any limit. I used to check my IdeaNetSetter application where it was showing just 3.35 GB o[censored]sage on 15th July".
            They said that on 15th July 2012 my total usgae was some where around 7.2GB . They said that my billing cycle is on 15th of every month. So my point was that when they reset the data on every last day of the month then how will I be able to track my usage, as I was of the view that since they reset my data on 30th or 31st of every month so that is how my usage is calculated. This was the reason for which I refused to pay the bill for which they offered me a discount of Rs.250 making it a total of Rs 400 approx. I paid that amount as I was in urgent need of internet and my connection was again started on 1st Aug 2012. Now the next bill that they generated till 15th Aug 2012 was Rs.2157 approx. Now for just 15 days they have charged me for this huge amount. I have also kept a screen shot with me in which it is clearly shown that I have used only 1.67GB till 8th Aug 2012 . For that I again lodged a complaint , for which they replied that u have a plan of Rs.750 for which u just get 2.5 GB and you have exceeded the limit once again. I was promised that for the same plan I will get 5GB but now what have they done I am not aware.
            This is something intolerable , they too are not aware of what they are doing.
            I haven't paid the bill so far as I am being charged for the usage that I haven't done.
            This is for the second time that I have been trapped in this case. They always charge whatever they feel like without any prior information.
            I request you to kindly take some action in this regard.

              God Afternoon Sir/Madam,

              I am Zameer Aalam , around year 2006-07 I take two Idea Connection [protected] & [protected] , under scheme of LIFETIME FREE INCOMING CALLS (without recharging even by Rs. 1) But in the begining of 2012 company send me a message to re-submit my documents , when I do the same they changed my scheme (unlimited incoming calls for LIFE TIME), and also issue my second number i.e. [protected] some other one else when I approaches to IDEA office they told me that this number is still issued on my document.
              Sir please help me as that number is given to many companies while applying via CV (RESUME).

                  I just wants a solution for my problem, that i joined idea on 18/10/12 through MNP.
                  After that I recharge my no. for Rs.38 for activation of per sec. calling pack & I got a confirmation message regarding the activation & validity Rs.38 calling pack.

                  Now what is happening that I am being charged at 40 paise/min.

                  For this I tried to register my complaint at 198, there Idea care executive Shalini told me that this 40 paise/min pack is a promotion from idea for MNP customers & it can't be removed.

                  Then she transfer my call to her senior Prerna regarding the same but she also refused to entertain my problem & said the same wordings as Shalini said.

                  I just wants to ask that where is my Rs.38 recharge with its activation & validity.
                  Why I am being charged at 40 paise/min, when my pack of Rs.38 was activated.

                      I am writing to you after waiting for three days under hope that it is a temporary problem of connectivity with signals, but it appears as routine to your services.

                      This is to inform you that there are almost no signals or weak signals when ever i enter in my area of Langer House, I am facing problem from[protected]evening) as a result there is a message displayed always that says "not registered on the network" "selected network 40407 not available" same about GPRS connectivity also. The information displayed is as under:

                      Network : Unknown
                      Signal strength : -75dBm 24 asu
                      Mobile network type : Edge
                      Mobile network state : Disconnected
                      Service state : Out of Service

                      In fact the same problem occurred last month also from 20th September to 2nd October 2012, for more than a week. Now again the same problem cropped up with your services.

                      I draw your attention to the same and request you to look into the issue and see that the problem is solved permanently.

                        I was using an Idea post paid connection which was disconnected due to non payment on August. Last Thursday, i got a call from a customer care executive asking me if i would make the payment to which i replied, "Ofcourse, i need to start the number again." When asked about the exact day i intend to pay, i said i would in a couple of days. Later the same executive called me on Saturday and asked why haven't i paid the due amount yet, to which i said that as i have been busy and i couldn't afford the time to physically go to an Idea outlet and pay the bill. I asked her if it was possible online, which would be easier for me, and she said No.

                        Today, i.e on the 22nd of October, i got a string of calls from +91 [protected], atleast 10-15 of them, with the same executive on the other end, who started ABUSING me as i told her i would do it on the first week of November, as soon as my salary comes. I was offended and asked her politely to behave properly and that she has no right to talk to a customer like that. To this she retaliated by hurling a torrent of disrespectful remarks and going as far as to THREATEN me that i would have to face "brutal" consequences if i do not make the payment by the evening today.

                        I am absolutely offended by the derogatory attitude of this executive and would like to demand an apology from the company on behalf of this lady.

                          I want to convert my idea postpaid number [protected] in to prepaid,i have visited 3 different MY IDEA shops,Navi Sangvi,Pune Camp,and Hadpsar more than 4 times in last two months,at every time i got the reason that SIM Card is not available.I called the customer care thrice,they registered the complaint every time and promised me that i will get call in next two days regarding SIM card availability.I am paying the bill unnecessary.and not getting the response from Customer Care.If we are not paying bills,we got the call every day from company,but company not providing the service to the customers.

                          I m very old consumer of idea, my # is [protected]. i hv taken corporate connection, , n my call charges is higher than other network, , i hv deposited my one n half yr. advance rentle, , whn i called custome care to change my plan n adjust my advance rentle in bills, , the denied, , now cannot chance my # so plz suggest me wht to do, , , i m really pissed off this service..
                          I have given application for converting my idea postpaid connection to prepaid 6 days back and since then I am waiting. Now my postpaid sim has been inactivated and I have been told that it wil take48 hrs time now its almost 150 hrs gone and still it is not working. I have lost so many important calls.so now the situation is that they deactivated my postpaid connection without activated prepaid connection so now i am without any phone.
                          Sir my number [protected] sir I transfered to post paid to prepaid on 5/10/2014 sir it transfered from postpaid but it has not entered to prepaid the i visited idea office they r telling tommorow daily sir please note this complaint [protected]

                          i given a request for migration from postpaid to prepaid for my 2 numbers ([protected] and [protected]) still now there is no response if i call to that office they are saying we given wrong sims and it will take more time.i clearly ask them, , , is it must to complete within 4 days of time, they said yes, but till now there is no response for my request. please take action on them.

                          i am unable to do transaction with OTP because my phone is deactivated. i lost my valueble calls and time. even money for calling them and customer care also.

                          i cleared pending bills also.

                            In utter disgust and disappointment I am forwarding the complaint against IDEA and their service.

                            IDEA had a plan for GPRS usage : 50 MB free Usage for Rs 5/- per day. Any additional usage will be charged Rs0.05/- for 10 KB.

                            On[protected] Yesterday) night between 8 pm - 9.30 pm I had used 52.45 MB. ( ie additional usage of 2.45MB) ie 2.45 MB = 2445KB. As per tariff additional usage should be charges as 2445/10*.05 = Rs 12.25/- appx. Insted they had charged me Rs 66/- for addition usage as mentioned as 2.45 MB.

                            I had contacted Customer care and they had given me a vague reply . I had gone in person to Idea Service center Palakkad today morning[protected] but of no use. They told me again to contact customer care. I had lost my valuable time in contacting customer care and Service centers. Customer care people to be customer friendly

                            I dont know on what basis they are charging customers . . When I asked for Statement o[censored]sage they told me that they will again charge Rs 50/- for statement. I told them I am ready to bare Rs 50/- and asked for statement in Service center ( Palakkad Idea service center), they told me they don't have any accessibility and asked me to call again to 198( customer care) . I had already registered complaint with idea mentioning the said issues ,complaint Ref No:SR NO. 1-[protected], but of no use.

                            Dear Sir/Mam

                            I am writing to you from Daulatpur Chowk, dist. Una, Himachal Pradesh.
                            I have a complain for my mother's telecommunication network provider. During my visit to her I was using her cell phone for some days. (20Th August, 2011 - 27Th August, 2011) During this period of time I noticed that after every other day there would be a charge from her cell phone that stated last call time 3.60 minutes and charges Rs27.__(eg. from 1 instance)

                            When I called IDEA to confirm the charges, they said you have been charged for listening to dial tunes. However, which I am sure I never did. However, even this was also possible after a very long struggle after going through numerous executive who said the charge is not updated. Finally after the information, I had to struggle a lot to have a word with a supervisor, when I actually had a word with one of them, he disconnected the call. Since then this has been happening on and off. They have been charging for calling up there hugely paid services like "Ganesha calling" "Dial-er tones" and I am a working professional and very sure of not making those calls, as I was solely using the cell.
                            I was also given the some high authority in Himachal pradesh for IDEA who would take care her name is Anuradha sood, the number that I was given was: [protected], and you can try any time either the call is cancelled or not picked, but never answered.
                            Then since that time I started noticing the cellphone charges after every call. There have been times I see a charge after a call received, when asked they said some roaming charge. So a roaming is charged sitting in my home in interiors of Himachal Pradesh.
                            I am writing this huge letter only to inform about the tactics of this company. And when novice people of a adult age use it I feel bad for all of them who are victim of such wrongful charges.

                            These service providers are debiting my money by activating one or the other nonsense service inspite of requeting the customer care not to do so again and again. My number is [protected]. I can not tolerate their non sense any more. Out of frustration I may throw their sim in the dust bin.Sometime back I had to fight with their customer care executive ( one Manjunath) who was behaving very rudely with me. Inspite of requesting them to deactivate their voice chat service which is being activated without my knowledge, they have not done so till now and in fact as soon as I recharged my accout three days back , these rascal have again cut my Rs. 30 for the said service. When I spoke to the customer care people, after some argument they have done something wherein my calls are not going to them..........so cheap of them.

                            IDEA MOBILE — Wrong call charges being levied

                            Problem – Wrong charges are being levied on most calls made. Four complaints to this effect in almost a month, March-April 2012. Four complaint numbers- 1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1-[protected] & 1-[protected]. Spoken to two floor managers & umpteen customer care executive.
                            Idea Mobile Solution-Two stereotypical messages- Your problem could not be resolved, please contact customer care & the charges being charged are correct & hence we will not be able to refund your money.
                            Current tariff card applicable—60paisa/ min—Local & STD mobile. 90paisa/min—Local & STD landline.
                            As the list is exhaustive, all call details cannot be provided.
                            Thus, details of false charges for only a few calls are as follows.
                            25/03/2012—[protected]—std mobile- 23:03min—Rs 21.75?
                            28/03/2012—[protected]—std mobile—3:18min – Rs 3.75?
                            29/03/2012—[protected]—std mobile—4:38min—Rs 4.65?

                              hi my number [protected] I was charged wrong by idea cellular for my no [protected] i activated
                              a 3g plan worth 200 inr and deactivated in in 2 day caus i was told by
                              idea customer care that no matter you use it for 1 day or a month you
                              would be charged the rental which is 200 hence using approx 450 mb
                              and not more than 500mb my plan limit they charged me a bill of three
                              thousand some rupees hence next day i wrote a mail to idea stating
                              that
                              Later On 28th or 29th I get a call on my dads no which is [protected]
                              from idea legal advisor sonal that pay the bill or meet up in court in
                              bandra and pay 7000 fine aproxx so i wanted my number back so sonal
                              told will take confirmation from delhi and you can get your number
                              hence she send a agent called Sandeep He Called His Sir Sachin Cell No
                              --[protected] confirmed with him that he told he will start my cell no
                              [protected] in 30 mins then called him back told wait till today
                              midnight n till today its not started hence he had done a fraud i
                              confirmed with idea gallery and idea nodal officer they told me i cant
                              get my no back hence wrong way of doing business idea callular and i
                              am uploading two recordings in this mail as a proof as well as the
                              receipt no of the bill for 2000 inr which is 159387...i need my number
                              back.

                                Hi,

                                I am using Idea postpaid mobile [protected] (Delhi-NCR Circle) and using "New Combo-249" bill plan. Idea has blocked by outgoing call and GPRS facility twice on the pretext of high unbilled usage. As per their billing practice, if i want to use this plan up to Freebies level only (400 calling minutes, 400 SMS and 1GB data on 2G), then I have to make my credit limit as Rs. 21000/-.


                                This is pure cheating by Idea that you present the unbilled amount on irrational basis and force the subscriber to pay very heavy amount every day saying that your unbilled usage is high. I have complained to them on various occassions and the same stereotype reply has been given by them.


                                Please help me out

                                  I got a call yesterday asking if I have paid the bill for my Idea Number. I get such calls every bill cycle.


                                  Lets start the story:-

                                  My Problem:
                                  My House is a 3 story building. I live on 1st floor
                                  To get a call I have to rush to the roof of my house,
                                  I have been doing so for the last 7 months.

                                  I being an employee at Sasken, took the Idea Connection ( Mobile No: [protected])

                                  They didnot check for the feasibility in my registered address and activated my Number.

                                  Next I lodged a complain for feasiblity 3months back, They said they will solve it in 2 Months. (Really it takes 2 months to get a problem solved.......)


                                  Ok even if it takes 2 months, What happened. Its more than 3 months.

                                  I got a call for bill payment from the below mentioned number and when I asked her about my problem, she hung up. How Rude is this.

                                    On dated 22/9/2012. I talk with idea customer care on the no. [protected] with my mobile no. vikas shah - [protected]. At that time the executive told me if you recharge with 97 rs. Then you will get roaming benefits like 70 pies for all incoming and local outgoing for 3 months, but when i came mumbai on the 1st day the service provider charge me as a offer. but after one day they charge me as a regular normal charge which is not according to the offer.

                                    Before recharge i confirm twise with customer care exicutive on the same phone on 22/10/2012 around 11 am mrng. and after she give confirmation then and only i done the same recharge on my mobile.

                                    And here,i complain again for the same, they just mislead me every time and cut my phone, and miss call me every time or call me. which i have to pay 1.50 rs for outgoing for call center and 1 rs. incoming from there.

                                    I am very much harrash by this company.

                                    Please take action as soon as possible. and please make available my losses.

                                        i recharge my mobile for rs 100 on 08-10-12,at 1:23 pm,the amount was debited from the retailer mobile,and i revive the message stating that recharge was successfully done,but however the money was not credited in my account,i contact idea customer care for the issue,they are not responded properly and they replied that the recharge was not happened,and i contact the retailer shop,he also contact the retailer customer care,they replied they have the transaction number,but the recharge was not done,they also not responding properly, kindly take this issue and take necessary action,since if the recharge was filed,the customer should received the message like,recharge not successful,they not cheated my money,,kindly take action
