Unilateral deduction towards subscription to Ram Baan -monthly renewal without asking for the month of Jan and Feb 2012 by deducting Rs 30 per month from my prepaid idea connection no [protected], inspite of our deactivation on toll free no 155223.( keyword OMRB)
Also we are unable to contact the idea customer care number, despite calling on numerous times.

Idea Cellular — Subscription of service

I got the automated call from idea cellular on 9th april regarding the sms pack of 79.I had just listned to the call and even i had not pressed any button for subcription even that service was activated to my account.Accordingly my balance has been deducted from my account.I had talked to customer care they said you had subscribed for that service.These cellular companies are making fool of consumersMy mobile number is [protected].
my no is [protected]. They even carge for the activation & deactivation through sms though we are paying monthy rentals for the sms, gprs packs..

    Sir, since 3-4 months my balance is getting deducted for incoming calls from land line numbers @ Rs 1-Rs 7. The number from which I receive calls everyday is [protected]. Even if I don't answer my balance gets deducted by Rs 4- Rs 7 per call. Another problem is for the calls I make where the time and therefore the amount deducted are double the time spent by me. I complained to customer service at Habsiguda, Hyderabad. about 3 months ago. The problem was resolved but since January 2012 it started again. I already lost hundreds of rupees because of these deductions. Please resolve the problem at the earliest and compensate my balance for the lost amount. My No is [protected].       I have been facing connection and network problem with Idea services from past 6 months. Idea cellular services with blackberry is so bad that it doesn't provide connectivity and services efficiently.when the things went worse i told the customer care of idea to stop bb services on my number and also wave off the bb monthly Charges from 20-Oct[protected]Nov-2011 & 20-Nov[protected]Dec-2011 bill as their was connectivity issue all the time . The agent told me that she will look into this. I asked to send me revised bill and i will make the payment. no communication from their end till Jan end . Recently my family and friends started receiving fake call stating that i met with accident, i m admitted in hospital etc. I called the number and spoke to the person who called, his name was Rahul from Idea and he was asked to do such calls as permitted by IDEA. He used Abusive language and was threatening me to make payment. I explained him the complete issue and asked to send me the bill so that i can tell him to amount Idea suppose to wave off. The next day he called and made me speak to his bill collection manager. The manager told me that he will look into this and get back.
      on 13th Feb2012 i received a call saying that " i m calling from safdurjang Police station and their is a case filed against you for forgery by Idea, u have to come to teeshazaari court ". I called him again so found that it was not from police station, it was again a fake and threat call from Idea.

      I would like to file a complaint against IDEA Cellular services for mentally torcher, female harassment , and loss i incurred on my business due to their ineffective and bad services

      Idea Cellular — False commitment & mental torcher

      Sir/Ma'am,
      I have taken a new connection on 6th May 09. The sim number was[protected]. The plan explained to me was- NEPAL CALL at Rs.2.00 per Minute. Rest 275 monthly rent & Rs. 84 extra for the ISD services to make the call from 9.19 to 2.00. Specifically I asked for the SAARC countries & specifially for NEPAL only. This was the commitment & the sim will get activated in 24 Hrs. But the next day the guy came for collection of data & form fill up. he asked for Rs. 500 & photographs & documents. he gave me the plan sheet where in through phone one of their executive named Mr. Gaurav explined me the same plan but again change in plan from 2.00 for ISD to nepal to 2.40. Now everything was finalised & I made the payment. My verification was over. But till 12th of May the phone was not activated. Again during these days I tried to contact the person concerned through the numbers in the receipt but all in vain. Either the phone was switched off or was disconnected. people who picked the phone addressed rudely using slang languages. under such conditions what was the mentel pressure for me cannot be explained. By profession I am from Marketing background. I have floted the numbers among all the customers with the commitments of those people. people kept on calling me in this number but all in vain. I suffered a loss of more than 2 lacs as my order was cancelled. Now under such situation I called the Nodal office. even they don't picked the phone. Then I mailed the Nodal Office. someone responded & took 3 days to update & activate the issue. During these days I tried & some time the phone was connected but the people from the Live wire from where I took the sim tried to play with me. Everyone who picked the phone told me that they are the TL. But non resolved the problem rather told be when you have purchased the same you have to take this connection & anything can't be done to resolve the same.

      Now under such senario the phone got activated from the Nodal office. But the plan for ISD was not there. When I called the Live Wire people they straight away denied that they have explained the plan to me. Now again the sales person called me and asked for forgiveness. But still others like the one Gaurav, Kiran, anil no one had any sort of regret to what they have done. they told me that when the plan was explained we did explaed you everything for a small mistake we cannot do any thing you have to satisfy with this.

      But why??????? Why should I satisfy with this. If I could do anything is to complain. But none is listening to me. Even the Nodal officer inspite of calling & mailing several times does not have the courtsy to call me back to resolve the problem. Now I want to sue them. I want them to pay for all the time that I spent on 12th of May for discussing the same among with them. The whole day was wasted. I could not do any thing. who will pay for the time loss on this particular day.

      Pls advice.

        Dear sir/Madam

        I have been using idea service from past 7-8 years and had not faced problem, but since last 4-5 months, I have shifted from pre-paid services to post-paid services and have been using internet under these service. I was informed that I would be provided 512 mb free under my 249 combo plan for postpaid. But for the bill of january, I was charged an amount of 2613.05 rs. Just for the sake o[censored]sing my free internet of 467.896 mb, and the nodal officer states that I have used 3g services and for that reason I have been charged this amount.

        There is no mention of my 2g usage under my bill and the only thing that is mentioned is gprs usage 467.896 mb and the charge of rs. 2613.05, where is my free usage.

        I would like to get a brief clarification on this matter as soon as possible.

        I am ready to pay my bill amount excluding the gprs usage charges.

        I am using these type of services since september and have never been charged for internet usage till 512 mb and why this time I was been charged the amount.

        When I called and complained regarding these wrong charges the nodal officer stated that these were the 3g data usage charges, where as, I was informed by the nodal office before I activated my 3g services that first of all 512 mb that I have for free would be utilized and there after I would be charged extra if my usage exceeded. But in my bill of 8th january till 8th feb 2012, there is nothing mentioned differently regarding my 2g usage and 3g usage and have not been provided with any free gprs usage.

        I was even receiving sms that your internet pack usage is 457 mb till this date and time, so there is no question that I should be charged these gprs usage amount.

        These shows clearly how idea cellular is cheating upon the customers and dumping wrong charges on to the customers.

        I am using these service from last 5 months and have never
        been asked to pay the amount of 3g usage since I had 512 mb free and why this time I have been asked to pay these amount, moreover I have not been provided with the free gprs usage of 512 mb.

        I would like to receive the solution to these problem in bloody written and would like idea to compensate and apologize for this kind of mistake.

          Hi,

          I have purchased one New IDEA Connection having mobile no. [protected] and activated the Internet Trial Pack offered with the new prepaid connection. I just used 1 MB data and but got charged with Rs. 30.19 while 100 MB Free data usage was given to me with 7 days validity.

          I recharged that coupon with Serial No.[protected] and it was recharged successfully but I was charged with Rs. 30.19 for internet usage while it should be free under the offered plan. Then I contacted to Idea customer care and spoke with Mr. Baljit Singh who informed me that my mobile no. details has not updated on their portal so he refused to help in that case.

          So I just want to refund the amount deducted from my account for this internet usage as I used it only after successfull recharge of this internet trial pack offered with new connection.

            idea cellular says says to give up to 200 kbps of speed on 2g network. i have recharged my prepaid account by rs 600. that is for unlimited 2g/edge for 2 months. company says speed of more than 200 kbps. but it gives average 15 kbps speed. which is to less to log in for gmail account. speed variation is also too much. so many times it gives 0kbps also. idea is really bluffing the customers. it is wastage of time and money. i want atleast 125 kbps speed. as per money i paid.

              I am an idea customer having mobile number [protected].

              I received the call on 3rd January 2012 @ 12.04 pm about the change in plan Rs. 399/- monthly rental as Idea Promotional call, I was not given a time and in hurry, I told them to revise my plan to Rs. 399/- but later on I realized that the same plan is not suitable for me.

              On the same day @12.45pm , I had written mail to Idea customer care that i don't want the same plan and i want to continue with the old plan that is Rs. 149/-

              On January 04, 2012, I received call from their customer care executive about my complaint, I told him the above concern, he assured me that my concern will be solved and i will get my old plan only. (I.e. Rs. 149), He wrote the confirmation mail about the same on the same day @ 2.24pm.

              On 10th February 2012, when I received the bill, I was in a big surprise that my plan is not retained to Rs.149/- whereas it is revised to Rs. 399/-. As a result my bill amount is extensively increased.

              I rushed in to idea customer care at law college road Pune, on 10th February 2012 and told them my complaint again. (With the mail Copy)

              Today in the afternoon I received a call from Idea Executive that my bill will not be revised, I feel cheated. My concern is when I was so clear in my communication about the above subject; Idea is not ready to revise my Bill. I want Justice to this, I feel so cheated.

                I posses idea mobile number [protected] for the last four years. during december 2011 a facility to hear devotional song activated in my set with Rs.3 per day. I had several times to deactivate the same by SMS.but all time it responded your request is invalid. Then I had personally contacted the Idea cellular franchise at MATTANNUR and repeated the request to the man there. After contacting some were replied the devotional song will be disconnected by next day. Nothing happened .I had repeated sending SMS to No 155223 for deactivation.But not accepted. As such I had personally visited to the franchise at V.K.Complex Kannur ans repeated the request. The lady replied your request will be done and devotional song deactivated by 5 pm next day. Nothing happened .Still deducting Rs.3 per day .I had lost more than 300/- without considering my request and now stopeed the practice of recharging. Noe this is not a request by letter extending thank to service given to me for the last four years before selecting an alternate provider.

                i shashikala, has prepaid connection with idea. From about two weeks, there is a deduction of Rs 5 towards the full song, which is activated automatically by idea people, without my knowledge.

                i have been complaining to call centre, and asking them to deactivate it. Still nothing has been done. Talk to customre care,they are saying only for waiting upto 2-3 days but there are no results of it after talking 3-4 times.

                i have already wasted more then Rs 70 for this hello song activated on my number [protected].

                hope the people of idea, take customers complaints seriously and resolve it,rather making it verse
                what about the money i have lost, there is no clarification by idea cellular regarding this

                  I have been an IDEA user for the last 5 years. Last week, I activated
                  a 98Rs Data Usage Plan. Upon receiving a SMS confirmation that the
                  plan is activated, I started using internet and was deducted Rs 300
                  for data usage. When I called customer care, they agreed to give
                  refund within 48 Hrs. When I asked for a complaint number, I was told
                  that I will get an SMS when I disconnect the call.

                  I waited for 3 days but did not get refund nor SMS of complaint
                  number. I called up again and I was told that the refund is "in
                  process" and I will get the same in 24 Hours.

                  I again waited for 2 days and called up and to my shock, I was
                  informed the following

                  a) No complaint has been registered by me
                  b) I am not eligible for refund

                  This is pure cheating and breach by IDEA.

                  I am surprised that for Rs 300, the IDEA management is burying alive
                  the glory of the Birla family !!

                      I have a IDEA prepaid connection (number [protected]) Which got activated with proper documentation i recharged with 147 recharge vouchers.
                      Suddenly it got deactivated and incoming/outgoing not working.

                      Again i re-submited verification documents 3 more times to ayappa communications (yousufguda). Still Idea customer care dont have any solutions .
                      I am afraid i have to live like that with recharge money gone with all my efforts .

                      Please help.

                        For the past few days I have been receiving calls from an unknown caller from these numbers.... [protected], [protected], [protected]
                        He called for nearly 20 times in a day and as a result I removed my sim for that day. The next morning immediately after I kept the sim back in, I got a call from him. I would request to block these numbers or take some appropriate action.

                        i m getting lots of blank calls from one IDEA number. Whenever i tried to call back to find th person no one answers. also this is really shameful for idea that their customers are doing such kind of thing. and this is onl because any one can buy a sim of idea with fake document and idea company has no prob.

                        i fear it could lead a serious bussiness.

                        i m providing one such number who always use to call in nights only and this unknown caller knows that idea is not comingback to him. The number is [protected].

                        If Idea company has some values it should maintain that. hope a positive response from idea company against this number [protected]

I would immensely appriciate if you could look into this issue and catch hold of the person, whom so ever playing around and challenging law & order in city. I believe there are number of people getting similar calls and messages. pls consider it urgent and probe into this matter on high priority.

                        i have idea connection and i am getting calls and texts from unknown caller from ph number:[protected].when searched on net its from punjab abd service provider is tataindicom. Getting calls late nights nd texts also i am just irritated and annoyed from this caller as he is trying to get in my personal life.please take some action as soon as possible and if possible let me know the details of this caller as my father is in police ,i need to inform him if nothing happenned.

                          we had taken Idea cellular connection ( number[protected] to[protected] - total 6 sims. in October 2010.
                          Since the quality of service was bad, we kept complaining. Since there was no improvement in services,
                          we decided to surrender the connections in June 2011. We submitted fax to service provider for withdrawing the
                          services, However we were told to clear the bill and after which they will do. We did clear our monthly bill.

                          However, we recd., bill again in July. After which we faxed letter to service provider and again same reply.
                          we did clear our bills for July. Similar matter happened in aug 2011

                          In september 2011, we clearly mentioned that we will not clear any bills after sept 2011. However even
                          in October 2011 we have recd. monthly bills for services not availed by us. This matter has been
                          going on for few months,.

                          Pl. help us to sort out this issue

                            Iam a idea service mobile holder since 2007,and submitted my proof /kyc thrice and recently receiving calls from the service provider to bar services.
                            Latest I have submitted KYC at SVU complex,Kurnool on 4/2/12 with the S.No.U 0457969 .Inspite of the the same Iam receiving the calls from the Idea Service for barring services.

                            Domalguda,Himayatnagar,Hyderebad-500029
                            I went to Himayathnagar Idea service on 03/02/2012 with Stamp size photo and KYC but they did
                            I went to Himayathnagar Idea service on 03/02/2012 with Stamp size photo and KYC but they didnot tell any thing please get passport size photo then only we can take the KYC, but I have to go to Kurnool for urgent work on 04/2/12 where I have produced the Latest Photo at 8.00pm.It was an embarassing situation .THE SERVICE PROVIDER SHOULD HAVE COMMUNICATDBY SMS TO MY MOBILE [protected] INSTEAD OF EVERY TIME SETTING TUNE OF BARRING SERVICES TO MOBILE EVERY TIME I MADE CALL TO SOME ONE. After submitting KYC details I have called IDEA Service [protected] thrice for having submitted the same.Still Iam getting the same tune from IDEA. Iam generating atleat Rs 500/ revenue and maintaing prepaid balance morethan Rs 1000/, I pity myself at this juncture .

                              Dear Sir,
                              It is being from the time of my connection I have not received not even single copy of printed copy of bill. From since past one year I am raising the complaint with Idea approximately every month, but idea has no concern in resolving the issue. Recently they taken the complaint again but sent a delivery note (SMS) indicating it has been delivered to someone GEETHA, which is wrong person. How can Idea so negligent to deliver to wrong person and address of valuable info (call details etc.) to some strangers.
                              I request the consumer division to take suitable action against the service provider and resolve the issue. It is no improvement in contacting costumer center because I have made my effort in contacting them, mailing them etc.

                              Dear Sir/Mam,

                              There was an issue with my Postpaid bill for Februrary Month(15th Jan to 14th Feb 2013). I raised the concern with customer care 3 times and the issue is still not resolved.
                              They told me to either go to MyIdea Shop or drop a mail. I went to the store and they told me to drop a mail.
                              The issue is as follows:-
                              1) In my bill plan, I have been provided 512 MB data usage. I got a mail on 15th Feb(16:09 p.m) saying that I have used 521.33 MB Data Usage till 14th Feb 2013.
                              2) The bill which I got, in that the charges are applied for 541 MB approx.
                              So, there are discrepanices in your system only and I have to pay extra for it.

                              I am using post paid no. of Idea [protected] and since last 6 months i am paying Rs 3000 aprox every month out of which Rs 75 is for free incoming in roaming and Rs 1299 monthly rental which include 1000 roaming minutes free of cost.

                              But every month i am not getting any benefit and they are charging me for roaming extra apart from my regular bill. which is aprox 1500 extra apart from my regular bill.

                              Please help since i already paid Rs 6000 extra till date.

                              This is to inform you that as u commited my june bill amount 743 because of the net and your company asked they Refund that amount but they not Refund the amount again and again my mobile bill amount is exceed.

                              i am using idea number [protected] and I want to change my idea plan as my net uses was increased, i called idea customer care and the attender whose name is bhakti activate the plan of 549/- on 1st March 2015, however i am not aware of the bill cycle and some toyota (soo called) plan, and even bhakti didn't given any information about it, My bill boost up to 3500/- within 2- 3 days i am shocked and called customer care, they as always making fool to customer we did we will do and all and didnt take any action finally i fedup and stop calling them.

                              Now the bill amount is ard 7200/- however my calling is around 1500 for the month of feb and march .

                                I am customer of Idea cellular. My idea mobile number is [protected]. I have been charged for ISD calls for the bill generated in month of January, 2012. I have been told by Customer Service Representative as my account being a privileged account ISD services have been activated for free Rental.To activate the ISD services on Idea mobile number, the customer has to pay Rs. 1000/- in advance which is refundable. I have not paid Rs.1000/- rental in advance nor I have requested to activate the ISD service on my Idea mobile number i.e. [protected]. So, it should not have been activated.In the month of January, 2012 though the ISD calls were made from my Idea mobile number, it should not have been made as the service for the activation was not requested. The service was activated by Idea Cellular on my Idea mobile number for FREE Rental.And they have charged me for the ISD calls for the month of January, 2012. My services on Idea mobile number have been barred as payment of the bill for month of January has not been done.I request you to consider the matter to be serious one as I have to bear the consequences of the ISD services for which I have not requested.

                                Looking for the reply ASAP.

                                  I recharged my prepaid mobile no.[protected] on 28-January-2012 after 7.30pm at Rs.30/- & i will get the amount within one hour but after two days all the amount will be deducted without any information. So please refund my amount within 24 hrs. otherwise i will go to portability or given a complaint in to station because it is not a one time, it starts from 3 months. From past 3 months i call to customer care but they are not respond. So I requested to you refund my amount else i will take action after 24 hrs.

                                        Hello Idea Team,

                                        Further to my conversation with Idea representative (Pooja) on 13th /14th Jan that I should wait till my bill gets generated on 15th Jan’12.

                                        2-3days back when I checked with your CCE then came to know I have been charged approx 5800 rupees for Internet uses (GPRS/Internet access) and uses show that I have used approx 284MB, which is not to acceptable to me at any given situation.

                                        I need clarification/actionable on the below mentioned points :

                                        - I didn’t send any request to activate any GPRS or Internet service to my number & have been using this number for last only for 3years calls & SMS services then how come it has got activated.
                                        - Moreover, I didn’t receive any call/SMS from Idea that these services are active on your number & didn’t use any GPRS/Internet Services but yes, I have changed my handset a month back & was not aware that these kind services has been activated without any intimation.

                                        Moreover, I called on # 198 and spoke to the Floor Supervisor & request him either help me or register my request but he also denied to take my feedback/complain.

                                        Hope, my above communication states very clearly that Idea cellular team has distraught me by making unwanted calls about payment to which I have been requesting that please register my complain.

                                        I really have no idea whether I should continue with Idea services or go for portability subsequently go for legal action.

                                        Note - Waiting for your revert in writing before you make any call to me.

                                        Which is not true, I was expecting important business call and I have lost of revenue 5Mn. Now, If I ask this question to Idea team. Who’ll recover this.

                                        This is really pathetic service after being valuable customer of Idea.

                                        I have been using Idea for last 5years and I was surprised to know that my unbilled amount of this month is approx INR 7000.

                                        I used to trust Idea and after this its a time to take step to change my service provider. Moreover, Idea customer care service is also not upto the market standard.

                                        This email is just to inform you as because I know Idea team will not take any action.
