Complaint 1:
I have Recharge with Rs.497 for 3G data usage. They have not Included 3g data from last 1 month. This Amount will be valid for 3 months and they are unable to solve the issue from 1 month. When i call to customer care, they are telling me about their technical problems to resolve the complaint status. Now from last 2 days, they have been avoiding my calls from connecting to the customer care numbers.

Complaint 2:
They are charging amount when i make the calls to the customer care, without connecting customer care executives

Complaint 3:
They have avoided me from connecting to the customer care.

Complaint 4: This is for my another number: [protected]
I have requested for Missed call alerts, but they have not activated this facility. They are charging me for this facility without activating the Missed call alerts. They did not given me refund, as they told i have given the complaint very late.

Please tell me, how can i approach for any kind of resolutions.

    Further to my conversation with Idea representative (Pooja) on 13th /14th Jan that I should wait till my bill gets generated on 15th Jan’12.

    2-3days back when I checked with your CCE then came to know I have been charged approx 5800 rupees for Internet uses (GPRS/Internet access) and uses show that I have used approx 284MB, which is not to acceptable to me at any given situation.

    I need clarification/actionable on the below mentioned points :

    - I didn’t send any request to activate any GPRS or Internet service to my number & have been using this number for last only for 3years calls & SMS services then how come it has got activated.
    - Moreover, I didn’t receive any call/SMS from Idea that these services are active on your number & didn’t use any GPRS/Internet Services but yes, I have changed my handset a month back & was not aware that these kind services has been activated without any intimation.

    Moreover, I called on # 198 and spoke to the Floor Supervisor & request him either help me or register my request but he also denied to take my feedback/complain.

    Hope, my above communication states very clearly that Idea cellular team has distraught me by making unwanted calls about payment to which I have been requesting that please register my complain.

    I really have no idea whether I should continue with Idea services or go for portability subsequently go for legal action.

    Note - Waiting for your revert in writing before you make any call to me.

    Moreover, wanted to inform you that I spoke to one your CCE yesterday and discussing about the bill amount subsequently my phone was deactivated & today when I spoke to CC team, came to know that I have logged a request of lost my hand phone.

    Which is not true, I was expecting important business call and I have lost of revenue 5Mn. Now, If I ask this question to Idea team. Who’ll recover this.

    I need clarification & quick revert on this.

    Today, Idea haven't lost customer but yes, trust.

    This is really pathetic service after being valuable customer of Idea.

    I have been using Idea for last 5years and I was surprised to know that my unbilled amount of this month is approx INR 7000.

    I used to trust Idea and after this its a time to take step to change my service provider. Moreover, Idea customer care service is also not upto the market standard.

    This email is just to inform you as because I know Idea team will not take any action.

      I had a vodafone connection(prepaid) and through mobile number portability I converted my number into IDEA postpaid.It took 20 days to complete the process yet I was given the assurity that it would complete in 7-8 days.After the successful portability,my number's([protected]) outgoing came to a halt because of a shortage of one document.I submitted the precise document to the store and they told me that your outgoing will start after a day.It's been 3 to 4 days there is no response from there side and whenever I tried to contact them they told that it would start by tomorrow and my outgoing is still not working.Please help.

          Please refer to my last complaint against Idea

          Inspite of all efforts, the problem could not be resolved. They simply deactivated the VAS and didn't refund the amount deducted from my account.

          When I tried to PORT OUT of idea applying for PORT IN at Aircel, I got a call from Idea 2 hours after I applied at aircel on 27th january 2012.
          The number from which I received the call was [protected] on 27th Jan 2012 at 12:42PM.
          A female was at the other end, tried to convince me to stay with Idea and cancel the PORT OUT request.
          And convinced me that they will refund all my balance and solve all my problem (if any) within 11 hours, but I'll have to continue with them.
          I had replied "I dont trust anyone if my problem can be solved.So first u solve my problem and then after I'll confirm.!!".

          I was not aware that they are such a big fraud. After 11 hours, I found that no refund was made.
          Only I received a sms with header [protected]@ and text content as "Dear Customer, Your request for promotional pack is closed. SR1-[protected]. Thank You" on 28th Jan 2012 at 07:52 AM.

          I really don't understand that how do they change the status of complaints from "open" to "closed" without the confirmation of customer.
          Really, they play with trust of customers only for few hundred rupees. Shame on them..!!
          I am afraid if they will cancel my PORT OUT request.

          I want to bring all IDEA cellular officials into this matter.
          This is a complete customer harassment and I feel like being cheated with Idea.

          I am still waiting for 7 days to be completed.

          Don't know why such a big brand is playing with the trust of customers.

            sir i am regular user of idea from last 8 months but idea has deducted my re 30 from my balance without any reason(without any service activation from myself).Customer care executive also does not give satisfactory answer.

            WE HAVE APPLIED FOR WEB INTERNET FOR WHICH 10 RUPEES PER DAY MONEY WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM BALANCE WITHOUT GIVING SETTINGS FOR THE WEB CONNECTION THEY START DEDUCTING MONEY FROM OUR ACCOUNT I TRIED TO CONSULT TO IDEA CUSTOMER CARE BUT NO RESPONSE GOT FROM THEM. THEN I SEND MORE THEN 5 SMS TO DEACTIVATE GPRS INTENET CONNECTION BUT THEY HAVE NOT DEACTIVATED THAT THAY KEEP ON DEDUCTING MONEY. SO PLEASE DO SOMETHING QUICKLY AND POSITIVE . I HAVE RS 80 IN MY BALANCE IN PHONE NOW IT IS RS 50 ONLY. WAITING FOR SOME QUICK ACTION AGAINST IT. THANK YOU!
            I received a call from one of the telecallers of IDea regarding some scheme, n when i told her that i am busy n won't b able to talk she activated the scheme in my mobile uselessly and my Rs.49 were deducted.......N when i registered a complain ...later i got call from Mr. Sarang and he told me that i only said yes to the lady to activate the scheme in my mobile which is not True....

            There is no confirmation from my end about the scheme activation.....so I want to take a strict action against it....
            I HAD ACTIVATED GPRS UNLIMITED PLAN ON MY IDEA MOBILE NO- [protected] ON 09/11/2009 ONLY FOR ONE DAY. AFTER MY USE I CALLED TO CUSTOMER CARE AND ASKED HOW TO DEACTIVATE MY SERVICE.SHE TOLD ME TO SEND MESSAGE FRESH TO THEIR TOLL FREE NUMBER. IGOT THE MESSAGE THAT SERVICE WILL BE CHANGED TO OTHER PLAN IN 24 HOURS. AFTER FOUR DAYS ALSO MY DEDUCTION IS ON.WHEN I CALLED AGAIN TO CUSTOMER CARE THEY TOLD ME THAT SERVICE WILL BE DEACTIVATED WITHIN 48 HOURS. TILL NOW MY ACCOUNT IS BEING DEDUCTED RS. 30 EACH DAY THOUGH I DONT WANT THE SERVICE. I WANT MY BALANCE AGAIN. THEY ARE NOT GIVING ANY ATTENTION TO MY COMPLAINT.

            As all customer has right to talk with customer care executive while talking with idea executives they taking money for that for each and every call it is not right they must give even three or foure free call if they are worrying for fake call so please do the need full as soon as possible.
            I have idea sim of student package. on 19 sept,2011 i got the sms form idea regarding expiry of student package. To extend the period of student package they called me to recharge with Rs.33 for another 180 days. They renewed my sim but for jst a week and now they are still deducting extra money for every call and msg. Infact , costumer care has been harrassing me for 5 days. I feel like changing my connection to another. They are not doing anything infact they know this.
            IDEA charging more amount indireactly, , cheating customers...

            I am very sorry to regret for the bad service rendered by your customer care representative MR. Basavaraj at 20.50 hrs. There were wrong deduction of Rs. 30 on my mobile wive idea No. [protected]. Mr. Basavaraj is harping us to contact only after 12 hours since the system is updated is only after 12 hours. We have a great approach for Birla group and I was sadened by the approach of Mr. Basavaraj. Since I am tenaged gilrl I am unable to go out for further recharge of my mobile.

            SUGGESTION : Good customer care training for MR. Basavaraj and improvement in customer care approach specicfically on sundays specifically for girls in age of 21st century.

            I request to credit the sum of Rs. 30 deducted for no fault of me. Hope the suggestion and complaint is taken in the right senes of the prevailing market.

            idea wala chor hai. Sab sa kharab service hai. Main consumer court tak jaunga.
            The sim inside my mobile is of idea company. They had deducted my money without any reason and when i asked about it to their call centre executives they told me that its u only who had done this but i had not pressed any button during that advertisement call..............it cannot even happpen by mistake becoz my mobile is a touchscreen mobile and u can not press any button without opening its lock. The centre executives are telling me that call us after 4 hours becoz our seniours are busy .............each time they are telling this only.
            I WANT THEM TO REFUND MY MONEY.
            IDEA ek dam bakvaas mera 30 rupees cut kar liye or Customer care waale toh thik say baat bhi nhi karte ...
            unko sab pta hota hai faaltu main bolte hai system down hai ...or jab 2 din ho jaate hai tab woh bolte hai ki
            aapne apni taraf say yea activate kiya hai ...itni haraamkhor hai na yea idea waale innka linces cancel
            hona chahiye or Customer Care ko ban kar do bahut kutte kisim hai hai baat sunte nhi hai or call cut kar dete hai ...

            I got this sms on 10/04/2013 from 54300 idea number at 10:39 am,without any keypress,activity,all of a sudden!!!
            idea is eating consumer money without any reason. poor business tactics idea!!!

              My Mob no - [protected] - i already activate your new offer Idea [protected]@ rs 150/- monthly rent ( Unlimited plan ).

              at the time of canvasing, your network has no problem , the sales / marketting execuitves were happy & good response from them at the time of asking doubts before activation ,at that your server has no problem . but after activating the offer ,no proper response from your end. while calling customer care, some body says server down, some body says pls call after 04/05 hrs , others saying lots of reasons...

              i called 05 times today to raise my complaint to customer care office from land phone & mobile .saying that its a technical error. will take 24 hrs.why dont they inform at that time ( befor activation , may be some problem will be faced at the time of activation like that ) very bad

              Your logo - "AN IDEA CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE " but ......................................................?????

              Customer care means - to care / to clear all the doubts & to solve the problems smoothly

              dont think we are fools ..

              pls look into the matter & pls do the needful

                This is most embarassing to inform as IDEA cellular a organisation of Aditya Birla has taken very easy means to earn money from its customers. My SIM([protected]) has been activated with value added services wherein they inform all promotional SMS and calls related to those which has never been activated by self. On noticing these facts had been in contact with customer care and requested to activate complete DND which clearly means only incoming and outgoing calls & SMS should be active. Same was informed to customer care and they confirmed its now deactivated and you would not recieve any calls & SMS also no money would be charged for any value added services.

                Surprisingly the so called organisation of Mr Aditya Birla had employed people of low mentality to disturb customers. But for sure this is benefiting the Company(IDEA) and its employees. IDEA is getting money and customer care department is getting jobs/salary. As both are benefitted mutually its their time. TRAI should enforce rules and regulations as prevailing in US & Europe. wherein the organisation is penalised for each complaints.

                Its high time now to ask these operators to stop this old technique of earning money and be competitive with MNC telecom operators.

                  my name is hiralal . i have applied for post paid connection of idea company.but i havent got my postpaid connection as yet.idea companies emloyers assured me that the connection will be started with in 12 hours but it was week ago matter they are not working properly for the customers.i have paid the required amount which was 250.they have already done the verification but rest of the work still need to be done. i want my postpaid connection get started as soon as possible .my mobile no.[protected].my other no.[protected].

                    Dear All,



                    Myself is Ravi Kant Sharma from New Delhi, using Idea post paid number [protected] from last three months. I have

                    activated E-bill facility. First bill that i received was itemized bill, but second bill was not itemized, so i am

                    not able to validate my bill. I requested to customer care many times to send me itemized bill. But till now i have

                    not received. That's why i was not able to make payment of the bill. Payment due date was 25-Jan-2012 and any time

                    out going services may stopped. Instead of sending my itemized bill, customer care executive sent me another number

                    bill which is attached along with this mail. This is a big example of very bad services provide by Idea. As you all

                    know that bill details are very confidential to any customer and your irresponsible executives sharing one

                    customer’s details to some other customers. I am totally unsatisfied with services.



                    Kindly resolve my problem as soon as possible.

                      I don't know for how many months MITTI KE RANG (VAS service) is activated on Idea Prepaid Number [protected] . I have tried several times to unsubscribe it last month and this month also but it didnt get unsubscribe. I haven't opted for this service, It started it's own and deducting 30 rs every month from my account. Today, 28 Jan'2012 also,30 rs deducted for auto renewal of this same service.
                      Kindly deactivate the service and credit the amount deducted from my account for this service.

                        Idea's customer care service is wurst they were not there to help. They just know that how to deduct unfair amount from customers and don't know that how to refund that. There new way to do business to cheat there clients.

                          sir i purchese idea 3gblade mobilephone on date 14.01.2012 and i recharce rs.259 for ricived benifit but i cannot ricived the facilities of 3g set

                            Every month even after complaining for 4-5 times I am not getting the hard copy of the monthly bill which I need for offcial purpose. Why idea do not realise this message" save paper save tree" while asking customer for zerox copies of papers for verification. The company remember the message when they supposed to deliver the hard copy of the bill. why they are insisting us for ebill if the customer does not have net connection or pc at home just for the sake of bill he/she should go to cybernet pay there and take hardcopy of bill? On complaining to the agents instead of listening the customer they put some hard music tune on the mobile.

                                IDEA has started sending many obscene and sex related SMS to me and my wife both without registering anywhere. It comes as "Service Message" and they create it in such a way that you can not block it also. There is no phone number - just shows as "Service Message" and the only option you get is to either connect on web or delete it.

                                This is highly objectionable - I think I should report to cyber crime cell. My wife's phone is also used by my son sometimes and she has to be very careful to delete them immediately as otherwise pressing a button puts it to SEX website.

                                Complain to IDEA has not even been heard or replied by nodal officers and appalate authority.

                                Not sure but transmitting obscene things on phone is legal crime and there should be a procedure to initiate legal action against IDEA.

                                  This is the regular experience with IDEA prepaid service - my phone and my wife's phone both are on IDEA network from last 5-6 months. With every recharge (either from paytm, freerecharge or bank website or their own website), the recharge is successful but IDEA takes few days to credit the amount. I definitely suspect a big racket to use customer amount for their own purpose - imagine lakhs of customer putting hundreds of recharge amount each day and they get it and not crediting to customer for few days. Very unethical practice.

                                  It creates problems many times - e.g. last time, they took about 5 days - my wife had to bear with 0 balance. My son had to give some exam on IVR with that registered number and he could not give it. Their customer service is CHARGED so I can not even call from my same phone and if you write emails, you dont get response from customer care or nodal officers or appallate authorities.

                                  Worst customer service and you will have to plan for at least 5-10 days / month of downtime recharging your amount (Rather they might be using it for their own business!!).

BEFORE 3 TO 4 WEEKS I HAD RECIVED AN LINK N MSG FROM IDEA CELLULAR CO IN WHICH I BY ACCIDENTELY JOINED THE SERVICE FOR WHICH I WAS CHARGED Rs 20 per week for using website MY TASHAN. . THAN AFTER I WANTED TO WITHDRAW THIS SERVICE I TRIED TO DEACTIVATE THE SERVICE BY GOING THERE SITE AT TASHAN.CO.IN/S.WML?TID=MYTASHAN HAS PER THE MSG FOWARDED TO ME BY THE IDEA CO.
                                    BUT THERE I HAD UNSUSCRIBED IN THE FORM SEVERAL TIMES TO DEACTIVATE MY SERVICE. BUT YET THE CO IS NOT DEACTIVATING THIS SERVICE FROM MY MOBILE NO AND I AM BEEN CHARGED Rs 20 EVERY WEEK. SINCE LAST 3 WEEKS. WHICH SEEMS THE IDEA CO AND THE WEBISITE ARE CHEATING THERE COUSTMERS INSPITE OF OUR REQUEST TO DEACTIVATE SUCH SERVICE, THEY ARE CHARGING US 20 RS EVERY WEEK.
