Sir,
1. I am a customer of IDEA PREPAID with mobile no. [protected] (UP West).
2. On 08 Nov 10 I got a call from +91-[protected] regarding an offer for IDEA post paid which requires a 250 rupees initial deposit and a monthly rental of 299 with which i will be getting 30,000 seconds of talk time, either STD or local. when I asked the individual about the choice of mobile number, he told me that initially i have to get the SIM and then i wil be getting a call from the number allotment department and then an SMS with 20 to 25 mobile numbers to choose from. when i asked him that if i dont get a number of my choice, then I was told that I have an option of converting my existing idea prepaid number to postpaid.
3. Same day I got the SIM (#[protected]) with a receipt on payment of Rs. 250/- and I was waiting for the call from the number department. The next day i.e on 09 Nov 10 in my absence my wife has received a call on my landline number. Inspite of my wife’s request to call when I am there, the executive has told her that [protected] is the new number allotted (without giving a choice of numbers) and that someone will be coming for verification of address on 10 Nov 10. On contacting the customer care, regarding theallotment of number without a choice of selecting a number, I was informed that I have been allotted the number [protected] and not [protected]. I was instructed to contact the nearest my idea shop for further queries. I went to my idea shop at shalimar garden, and raised a complaint for converting my prepaid number to postpaid. (complaint number 1-[protected] dated 09 Nov 10). The next day I got a call from idea customer care regarding verification. I told them that till my complaint is resolved, I will not entertain any verification. Then they promised that if I write down the problem to the person who is coming for verification, my problem will be resolved.
4. On 20th when I contacted the customer care, I was informed that my postpaid scheme has been activated on my existing prepaid number and the SIM number[protected] will be handed over to me which has not been delivered to me till date.
4. Therefore it is requested that the following queries may be resolved at the earliest:
a) SIM number[protected] not being delivered even after being activated.
b) Disposal of the SIM sold to me (#[protected])
c) Why such false promises are given to an existing customer who is in a long time association with your company regarding choice of mobile numbers and then reverting back.
5. Awaiting for an earliest solution.

Prepaid Service From Idea — Deduction Of Balance
Sub- This Mail for Idea services(Deduction Of Balance)I am noticed that from past few days my balance is being deducted continously, I asked about it to customer care Mr.Abhishek and Supervisor Mr Pawan, they repeatedly said that they had no information ragard the deduction and said that we are not able to give u information and cut the phone the are working in Idea office A-30, mohan Coperative industrial estate, New delhi .I again called there at 22:00 but got the same answer from customer care side.The same things is happening regularly and also asking about deduction in customer care i get same answer that "we are not getting this information right now"
If this compaint is read by any IDEA CELLULAR Executive, I want to suggest them that instead of promoting "idea" by any Celebrities, please take care to improve there customer care service.I also want to tell them that my many friend had change to other Cellular company.Really I am so upset that type of behaviour from customer care of IDEA.
