Idea Prepaid — forgery by deducting balance

i have recharged my mobile no.[protected] with the vouchar of Rs 50/- on 21.08.09 in the evening the balance was Rs. 8.15/-On inqury computer informs that amont was deducted on 14/8, 15/8 &16/8 when my cell was not in operation even.matter may pleased be inquired and remit me the balance amount which wrongly deducted

Idea Prepaid — value added service added without any request

a few days ago i recieved a message along with account balance information to dial one certain number(the message cant be saved).there was no addendum like conditions apply or call charges apply etc.it seemed as if by dialling we could get information about this contest.within a minute they charged rs 5.so i called back customer care to stop this service.. balance was reduced by rs 5 but the service was discontinued. today without any provocation they resumed this service again.on enquiry i was told taht someone had called me up from idea and got it activated today.on further enquiry as to who called me and wat were the call details i was put on hold for full 11 minutes and then disconnected.since morning i had not received any such call or even missed call.and now they will charge rs 5 everyday though i m not participating nor am i interested. i am sure they must have charged such money from several customers but not many bother for 5rs,hence lot of free revenue for the company.its no use swicthing over other companies as everyone is like that.

Idea Cellular Prepaid — balance deduction reg.

sir/madam,
I am idea cellular prepaid connection holder. My cell phone no.[protected]. A call received from idea call centre and asked me, "your cell phone no. has randomly choosed for free "e net" facility. will you accept this facility ?" I refuged after that said facility activated without my permission and knowledge and Rs. 40.00 deducted from my balance. even I didn't see any single site during this period. when this forgery came in my knowledge. I contected idea call centre and explain my complaint but call centre didn't accept my complaint. call cenre replied me, "This facility accepted from by your side then this facility activated on your phone."
Kindly credit above deducted amount immediatly in my balance through idea. I have many other example for this type of forgery.

I am facing the same problem and I think the only solution to this problem is just stop using the that number and take another one, because they wont stop this deduction.

mai idea prepaid service se bada peresan hu. ye apne aap hi koi bhi value added service activate kar dete hai or fir balance deduct kar dete hai.
or complaint karne pe kahte hai ki ye service to aapne hi activate karai hai, but aisa nahi hai, DND activate hone ke bad bhi promo sms ate hai or value added service activate kar dete hai comp. karne pe kehte hai humne activate nahi ki aapne reqst ki thi, , , , , , , , , , , , , mai 3 times apn ph, recharge kara chuka hu or mera 3 time balance diduct ho kar 0 ho gaya due to value added service, , , , , , , , like vaishno devi service, , , , , , , , , , , criket pak, , , , , , , , , , news, , , , etc. nd on this no. [protected], , , , , , , , , , , ,
pls take the action against idea cellular post paid.

Idea — Balance deduction without activation of any package.

Deducting balance without activation of any package
Idea Cellular (prepaid) started started sending some useless sms (like JOKES, CRICKET, GANESHA, SAIBABA, MONSOON BONANZA CONTEST etc). Number being used for official purpose. All of sudden we started getting some jokes and cricket updates without activating any service. Since we are heavy users we never use to check balance.This went on for 3-4 months when I realized that they have been deducting 10 rs per day for some stupid daily pack of theirs. Immediately I called up their service centre had a heated discussion and got all EXTRA services dis-continued. I got an email containing details of those service start & end dates. I realised idea has done theft of Rs.775/- from my prepaid a/c. YES MY MONEY HAS STOLEN.... This left me furious at no end. Its not about money, but the trust that I have in a big company.

Are these people STANDARD THIEVES? Just because we don't want to change the number, they are literally stealing the money. Customer care is so pathetic that they keep on repeating same lines which is utter non-sense.

I think and hope that a big brand like IDEA doesn't need to retort to these sort of things to earn money. Else they should declare themselves as thieves as first place.

BE AWARE..CHECK YOUR ACCOUNTS...I WILL RECOMMEND TO QUIT THIS FRAUD....Just imagine huge database of its users only deduction of single rupee per day can give million rupees revenue.

THEN CALCULATE RS. 10 PER DAY MULTIPLY BY BILLION USERS...!

idea cellular service — prepaid balance

i rechareged for Rs. 350. Rs. 30 is getting deducted since two months. customer care service providers are not giving proper reason for that.

i had taken idea cellular data card from the idea outlet in the last week, from the date of purchase to till now we are unable to get the signals of our datacard in our residence situated at Moosapet Y Junction.

IDEA DATA CARD — Pathetic Connectivity

To whomsoever it may concern,

This is with regards to the Idea datacard I purchased three weeks ago. The connection speed and the overall connectivity is pathetic to the core. It is very much sad to realize that I spent Rs. 2650 as a donation to your company which actually does not need any. I would strongly suggest that you should re-think of your business plans in this particular territory as even a dial-up network in some remote village would out-perform your offering. It surprises me that a company like Aditya Birla works on such pathetic quality principles. Had really not anticipated this kind of a mental torture using your datacard. I was strongly recommended by family and friends to invest in a Tata or Reliance datacard but I went ahead with Idea thinking I would get value for money.

Extremely disappointing specially coz Rs. 2650 is no small amount and in fact a rupee is also important when there is hard work gone into earning the same. I hope you do realize the same and look in to the matter. If you cannot assure good connectivity, then please do follow some good business ethics and refund my money.

always check network in ur area before purchasing wireless network data cards. there is a notice written on every datacard/simcard for internet product that speed is dependant on signal which cannot be provided equally in all areas. i[censored] want quality, u shud have gone for vodafone or mtnl, the latter which im using in marol and is working like a charm

better would be to crack/unlock ur data card and use any other sim in it..

Idea Cellular — Plan change with out my notification

I had been using idea postaid connection since 2 years.when i checked my last months bill, my bill plan got changed.I had never requested for a bill plan change.when i enquired with idea customer care, he told me some one from componay had requested to change the bill plan, and he was not in a position to give me the persons name who had requested.
how can idea change my bill plan without my consent?The executive was very rude as if I was using their service free of charge(i can post the recording of coversation if an one need).
No i have decided to move on to Vodafone..

I am using idea gang card. The old scheme. My land land line call charge is Rs 1.20. I called Idea customer care for change of plan to general plan. But that fellow told he has no idea about plan change. And ask your friends. Very poor customer care. So i threw away idea sim and took Cellone connection.

Samething happened to me on a new sim card. they deducted rs. 5 daily without any gprs usage. When I called customer care, they told my mobile is connected 2-3 times per day. But I never used my mobile to connect gprs or to make any calls... it was kept in my cupboard.
Later on I charged rs. 97 to activate gprs for 1 month and charged for 555. I got message immediately says Idea Fresh for 1 month is activated. After 1-2 hrs I used internet and my balance is reduced from 555. I called customer care and they told it will be activated after 4 hours. Again I used internet and again they deducted the charge from talk time. Again I called customer care and another guy told it will be activated by 11pm...
