I am having IDEA mobile Prepaid connection no. [protected] at Jaipur. At present I am operating only on Wifi connection of BSNL at my residence. I am not using any Data of IDEA. My data connection of IDEA mobile always remains off. Still almost every day I am receiving message regarding consuming data worth few paisa without using the same. Statement of Data usage from 13 to 20th of Sept. is showing consumption of 319 kb data.
How the company is charging for Data without using the same?
Please ensure that no such charges are recovered from my balance of TALK TIME.

          I was using idea post paid connection for few months, 2 months back i ported the sim to vodafone using mnp facility, as the process took time it got ported after 2 days of my billing cycle.

          That month end i got a bill from idea 765.90 rs. when i asked for clarification they told i used 2 days of the plan so i have to pay full month amount for it.
          This is not fair. i am ready to pay that 2 days sum to them.

          Please help me with this situation

            Hi,

            I want to say that i am connected with idea before 3 months ago but now the kind of services you provided are very poor, now i want to port out from idea. Every time idea charge me 50-100 rs. Extra in my bill payments. After that i am not going to pay my bill due to this extra charges and after 15 days idea apply 50 rs late payment charges and block my calls and internet services. This is totally bs and very ambressing. Why should idea block my services because incorrect charges are apply by idea and why should am suffering from this bs process. I am attaching current bill summary file which contains extra charges. So please if you want your customer link with you in future then please resolve this issue and keep in mind this issue will not come again in future.

              On rechargeitnow showing idea will be giving 1 gb 3g data with 28 days validity for rs 52. However after actual recharge on 10 sept 2016 i got only 300 mb 2g data with 6 day validity. Idea must give me the 1gb data or block such site to recharge the idea voice or data pack.

                When trying to recharge, when we reach a page for mode and bank deatils, I am using DEBIT CARD +ATM option, then while choosing bank as canara bank, the next page is showing as

                So I couldnt recharge for several details. This problem exit only for Debit card+ATM -Canara bank .

                  Please don't go for it.. if you really don't want to waste your precious time and money. I usually don't recharge Idea number but when I top up it they charge 30-50 rs each time for a service for which I don't have an Idea!!!

                  Last time they charged 40 rs for a caller tune which I dint choose, I got a ivr call for a caller tune i dint selected any and disconnect the call yet they charged for it. I called customer service and requested to refund the charge.

                  After so many calls I was able to convince them to refund the charges.

                  Today I top up again and in a few hours they deduct 20 rs.

                  I call customer care to know the reason for this transaction. The reason he told is strange.. the charges are for downloading games in non-internet gprs phone.

                  Now I understand What's an IDEA SIR JI! to cheat people..

                      Idea 4G gives 1 GB data on upgrading 2G/3G sim to 4G sim but it works only on 4G network. If it connected to 3G/2G main balance is gone. In all mobiles network tower is oscillating how can I keep balance by using that network internet

                              I am following up this IDEA Refund case from past one year till today no action has taken. I am calling to Idea Broandband customer care every time they raise new ticket no( eg. TCT[protected]) like this after that no update.

                              Below are the details of the case.

                              On 27 Sep2015 IDEA executive(Kishore -pune-mobile no: [protected]) has taken the documents and filled application form and cash RS. 2736.00 for the New IDEA Broadband connection - Vishrantawadi - pune area.

                              IDEA engineer visited my house on 30 Sep and no idea Broadband signals properly they are unable to give the connection.
                              From that time I am following up with your executive to get the amount back. Till today he did not refund the amount.He is not picking my phone even.

                                  I purchased a 4G Idea datacard on April 29th from the idea customer care which located in our company campus( i.e. HCL Technologies SEZ, Sholiganallur)

                                  While taking the data card offer was if you paid 3 months bill together you will get 20 GB Data for first 3 months and device free of cost.

                                  As per the offer i paid (950 x 3) Rs 2850 to idea representative and he given me the device. the end of the first month itself i got a message i want to pay due amount. when i call back to customer care they told you want to get back to representative who took the connection. when i asked him, he told me to use connection there is no such issue. by July 18 (after 2 months, 18 days) my connection get disconnected by telling that i want to pay 728Rs.

                                  when i call customer care they are telling that they again repeat the same, get back to representative. by that time the representative in hcl left the campus. i leave the connection as it. i never used( i cant use due to disconnection).

                                  now i am getting message telling that i want to pay 3020 RS. feeling that you are asking the customer to pay without giving services.

                                  As a proof you can check my device usage.

                                  i want a immediate resolution for this issue, i don;t know why a reputed company like you doing this kind of fraud thinks.

                                  Please give a reason for wrong billing, and give me a official details of my data usage.

                                    Yesterday i did two 50rs from my idea cellular app for which i didn't recieve the balance and yet the money was deducted from my bank acount. So i would like to have a refund or a balance of 100rs on my idea no. I dont have any details regarding the first recharge except the msg from bank about the amount debit but when the second recharge also didn't happen i took a screenshot of transaction id which is GHMP[protected] dated 15th Sept 2016. I would also like to direct your attention to my other troubles that idea has caused me which are from the past 7-8 months my 3g is not working i have called the company executive 3 times and even went to the idea office twice near my house at 1-2, jai jawan colony, tonk road, jaipur but they were unable to solve my problem and said that i would receive a call from the company in two days who will be able to solve my problem but still i haven't received any such call and it was around 2 months ago. My 3 recharge of 249rs for 1gb net pack had gone totally a waste in these last 7 months as instead of 3g speed they gave 2g and 2g speed is like making a fool out of the customer as the net hardly works in 2g. Another issue is that my number is not registered under my name even though i did provided all my documents needed while purchasing the sim but i don't know how the name on which my sim is registered is wrong, this totally absurd and ridiculous as it shows the company does not verify the name written on the ID and the form while uploading the user data, so when i asked the executive at the office to change the details as i was providing the details again on the spot she said that it would take atleast 10-15 days to make that change and in this transitional period the sim wont be working which is unacceptable to me because why should i be paying for the company's mistake. Also i have activated DND on my number but still i have to listen to those annoying ads before every call that i make everyday and still recieve msgs from the company, i dont understand what is the purpose of activating DND if i still have to hear those ads. Please review my problem and resolve as soon as possible as now i'm fed up of this connection and especially the services that idea has provided me.

                                    Hi my problem is still not solved and now i am really pissed at you guys. I received a call from you guys on 25sept informing me that my 3g problem is solved but when i did the recharge its still not working and i also asked you guys to stop that pre call anouncement or ads that i have to hear before every call even though my DND is activated, looks like you guys are not taking me seriously so either solve my problem or refund me the money for my recharges and then m going to throw away this sim as i dont want to use such a bad network that i have ever seen in my life.

                                      I have paid bill of my previous operator airtel on 12th sept, and sended payment receipts to idea([protected]@idea.adityabirla.com) on 12 september, and idea acknowledge that i have done payment for airtel bills, and they have received the payment bill details, and they forwarded to concern department on 13 sept, but still they barred ouygoing calls of [protected], on 15th sept 2016, worst guys, and i called 198 customer care
                                      5 to 6 times they did not given any resolution even they are not ready to accept that they have got bill receipts from me worst guys, they are telling lie
                                      wasted my 2 hours with idea customer care but with no solution
                                      they told they cant rectify issue visit idea show room, i visited in marunji,
                                      idea showroom, they told it will take 2 days to resolve issue, But i sended bill payment details on 12 sept, so 2 days alrready over that is 14 sept, so its better to close idea connection worst service, can anyone suggest, i will move to consumer court for this worst services.
