I asked to activate international roaming on my idea number and they told me that i can activate it for free if i pay a security deposit of rs 2000.
I paid a security deposit of rs 2000 to activate international roaming. Now they are charging me an additional amount of rs 87 every month since i activated international roaming which was told to me as free. They should not charge this amount in my bill. I want my bill to be corrected by removing this amount. They cannot charge customer for services which they should receive for free.
No action is taken on my complaint till now. For what reason an additional amount is charged to me on bill for activating international roaming. I already paid rs 2000 to activate this feature as requested by idea.
All other network providers provide this as a free feature. You are utilizing your customers by charging this additional amount on bill. It is a shame for the company by cheating customers by putting extra amount in their bills. Kindly take action against my complaint by removing the additional money charged to me in the bill..

    I have called idea prepaid customer care regarding 4g offer and they suggested me to recharge with 103. After i have done the recharge i haven't got the 4g benefit as it was not launched in pune yet. I have told the customer care already the city i am residing, but still they haven't provided me the information currently. Kindly advice me on the neccesary action.

      My [protected] no was activated by *150*09# as rate cutter yesterday date 28 September 2016 for reducing the local and STD calls @40 paise per minute for 30 days.But the rate cutter didn't get activated inspire of deduction of rupees 9 from main balance, still the call rate is too high.
      Kindly look into the matter and reverse the excess deducted amount to my main balance. I would be thankful to U.

        I have a connection of NCR/ Delhi, which is in roaming in Bhopal. The connection has suddenly died out, showing no network, while my bill payment was delayed by just one day...bill payment reference- [protected]. I cannot even register a complaint on the site as it requires an sms that can only be sent on my idea cell, which is dead now. The issue worsens as I am out of station, and on a job that doesnt leave me with any time to call the customer care number in working hours. And the system is such that it requires me to have an operational idea cell to be able to register the complaint.

          I have been facing poor network problem of Idea cellular in my area since last 1 year, i had raised complaint about it several times in last 6 months. your customer care support team said in reply that my village is far away from your idea tower & falls in low coverage area. So i have to mange with this problem. If idea cellular is not able to provide a full coverage in that areas then why advertise and open your outlets in that region. At present there are 80-90 post paid/pre paid idea users are in this village & all are facing poor network problem. Hence you are requested to take this issue seriously & do needful as soon- as-possible.

            Dear Sir/Madam,
            I have taken my mobile connection from Idea cellular services coming under Aditya Birla group. My plan is iplan 999 which includes 50 packs of data/ calls/ sms etc. Out of these i have chosen 43 packs for data alone (3g/4g) which was activated on 14/06/2016. 1 pack of data is 135 MB; so 43 packs will be
            43 x 135 =5805 mb ~ 5gb ; But each month i could use only 2GB, over which i will be charged extra money.

            This is happening from July to sept(this month). So i kindly request you to resolve this matter as i have already given complaint more than twice which yielded no results.

              My husband has an idea postpaid connection. He wanted to migrate to idea prepaid connection and applied for the same on 24/09/2016. The connection is supposed to be active within 3 working days . But till the time I write this complaint (29/09/2016, 3:00 pm) it has not become active. We have contacted the customer care service (not mentioning the particular customer service centre) many times to get the status and they randomly tell a date and time but for no use. Now the customer care executives have started responding harshly. Before we finish speaking they are hanging up the phone and not responding to our calls.We have to call from different numbers so as to make them at least pick the calls. I have already had a bad experience from Idea Customer Care last year when I tried to do the same with my mother's number. Please change the name Customer Care Service to Customer harassment service. That suits you well. We should not have made the TERRIBLE mistake of choosing Idea Cellular again, after we had a bad experience.

                Hello, i called customer care today from my idea mobile number as in morning 8 am i did recharge but i did not get its benefits, its been 12 hours now but no solution, i tried calling customer care 5 times but every time their response was very rude and unhelpful, they were not giving proper answers and also did cut my phone twice while i was still talking .

                  I had sent SMS on 1909 about unsolicited message. In reply I got message saying "A unique reference number will be sent to you shortly", which never came. I got a call from them asking details about unsolicited message. I gave details of marketting SMS by reading it completely. Still there is no response from them. Looks like Idea is encouraging telemarketers.

                  I have received total 3 calls from IDEA itself for asking additional sim cards. I reminded them that I am already on DND and how they can call me for their marketting also.

I am having Idea postpaid (+91-[protected]) Maharashtra Circle, I had submitted my documents 2-3 times for address update and many time visited your Idea stores regarding the same and getting the same reply "we will check and get back to you" but till date my address has not updated and never received any call from customer support or any representative from Idea.

                      I reside in Pune at Undri area and I am an Idea Platinum customer, this is really unfortunate that after my repetitive attempt for Address update till date no solution have been provided by Idea.

                      So, it is my sincere request to kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

                      Dear Sir/ Madam,

                      Recently I had purchased new handset which is having Nano SIM slot for that when I contact your Idea store they suggest get it cut from any mobile repair shop. When enquired about new nano-SIM change with same Old no. as provided by other networks i.e. Airtel, Vodafone they informed that Idea is not having such facility. I am bit reluctant to cut my SIM from any shop, if somethings goes wrong and my SIM not work than I have to run from Post to Pillar and as per my experience Idea Service support is worst.
                      Therefore I am humbly requesting you kindly look into the matter and suggest accordingly. Presently I am staying in Pune, Undri area.

When I contacted idea CS, they said that they did not have any info about who was charging. I think this is a scam. I spoke to the complaint cell but got no resolution.                           My idea postpaid cell no. Is [protected].

                          Idea cellular ltd. Is not migrating my postpaid connection into prepaid connection for the last 2 months.

                          My bills are coming wrongly charged everytime and are unnecessarily high bills.

                          I gave request 2 times to sector-64, noida for its migration from postpaid to prepaid, but idea company is not migrating it to prepaid.

                            My name is Manaf Kareem and have been an idea customer for the last 4-5 years. The signal reception at my house is getting poor day by day. We have 3 idea sim at home. All having same issue. Call just won't get connect for both outgoing and incoming calls. My father also had an idea sim but ported out to Airtel because of this issue and is getting good signal for him on Airtel network.                             Tried calling customer care 12 times today. Call got connected but will drop before talking to a customer care executive. At last spoke to one guy and he transferred my call to his supervisor upon my request. He asked me to send a mail to idea customer care requesting to install a signal booster near my location.                             Got a call from idea customer care. the name of the customer care executive is Shajir. He said the issue can be rectified only if they install a new tower near my location, which will not be happening anytime soon. It could be months or even some years to take . He asked if I can wait till that. I said, no thanks I will port this number to Vodafone or Airtel who have good signal strength in my location. He simply said, okay, so he is closing this complaint since they can't solve this issue right now.

                            So I am cancelling all 3 idea connections at home.

                                This is in regards with data pack which i had on my connection, i had called customer care 2 days back asking them to deactivate the internet connection – your re also promised that it would be done within 1hr however he failed to disable feature completely because of which 300mb is used on background – spoke to your representative vinayaka yesterday he confirmed that issue would be escalated further & they would look/listen to previous recording & also promised callback within 24hrs from higher authorities, i also checked with advertising holding in bangalore with 1gb net pack @ rs48/- rep informed that it’s still not launched – if it’s not launched then how could u people even advertise it, i have been using idea connection from last 5years – this is really pathetic service & hope you don’t value customer needs. This is also to let you people know that i am not paying for 300mb net usage which happened because of your rep failure, if any such charges reflect on next bill i would be forced to take action against idea.

                                    Some idea marketing people asking to change prepaid to post paid change. So i was give my details over mail. They are not taking any application signatures. Afters 3 days my prepaid sim service was stopped & i complaint to customer care about this, but they are not resolve. After three days that marketing person came & gave new sim. When i was call for new sim activations he is telling wrong plan details. So i informed in that call to stop sim activation. But he is activated & they are given wrong post paid plan. I realized about idea service & i decided to stop post paid connection. So i sent three times complete mail to customer care. Bit they are not resolved this issue. They are continue with wrong plan & given rs700 bill. I was not paid, so they are stoping service. I was not received even bill copies also. I don't understand rules about activation calls. Idea have any special rules to sim action, because i informed to sim action in activation call. Finally i need idea prepaid service for my sim & explanation about sim activation & wrong plan issue &service delay cause.

                                      I had 2 idea connections more than couple of years ago. I closed my connection with not only due amount but more than that to avoid any differences. They disconnected the phone before requested date. After one year or so I started getting Demand Notice letter asking for money. My brother went to idea office with that email and they informed its a mistake. It happened again after few months e spoke to a lawyer and closed the gap if any. None of the idea support person could explain what I said happening. Last week I get the email again asking for paying money else legal action. Is there any end to it? You can't simple send legal demand notice to customers without justification when contacted. This is ridiculous. I have not even been in Country for more than 2 years now and I get these emails which is lot of inconvenience for me and my family who go to Idea office every time. They never called and keep on mentioning in spite of multiple efforts. Here is the type of email i get with different amounts and accnt

                                      Dear Customer,

                                      Greetings of the Day,

                                      As per agreed terms and conditions of Customer Service Agreement duly signed by you, we have provided cellular services towards your Account No.[protected]

                                      No. We spoke with idea contact assigned to address the issue. A temporary number was assigned to clear the bills and it was paid and acknowledged. And here i am getting emails again. Should i file a legal case now?. This is ridiculously waste of time and kind of harassment asking for money as legal demand. Please respond to my rmail or contact Amit patil as soon as possible
