I was communicated to get the installation withing 2 days after payment receipt from Idea Sales guy (nithin – [protected]).This is to inform you that i need to cancel the connections which we have taken on Sep 23th 2016 and amount paid was Rs 8100.

Reason: From the day it is activated it was working for 1 hr and after that it was not working and its been i am calling Idea tech guys to come and check they have not come and fixed the issue, so i want to cancel this connection and i need my money to be refund I will get my money.Its really a horrible experience and service from brand like Idea I have called customer care 10-20 times and they are yet to take my refund request.Everyday they told the same lie, request has been taken and I will be getting my money in 48 hours.
After 48 hours, they say no refund request has been initiated.

My number is [protected] (Kerala circle) and it is an add-on connection of [protected] (Both are postpaid connection). After upgradation to 4g, we are facing lot of problems regarding the net setter like without the usage of the net, consumption message is coming as "10 mb data usage consumed during the period". This was previously addressed in a complaint during april 2016.

But still the problem exists and morevoer, in the last month bill some amount approximately 280 inr was included, moreover i was forced to activate the boost pack worth 350 inr. (Bill number[protected] and the total bill came around 2153 inr-which is unacceptable.

Please note that during my office hours mysel[censored]sing the wi-fi connection of my company's connection only

So please do the needful for the rectification immediately by deducting the amount approximately 800 inr (Including the tax), otherwise i won't pay the bill for the month and moreover i will escalate to the next level for the action.

I had a sim on of idea no.[protected] i have broke it 2 years ago. I had never used this sim number for using what'sapp. But when i see what app with any other number i have seen any other person in whatapps with that idea number [protected] using it. This is was having some other persons pic.
So now i am very concerned to know that if this number [protected] has been allowed to other person or some one is using my number if someone is using it please block it

I have informed idea on 7 th of JUNE 2016 for disconnecting my net setter with immediate effect . I got a message by email on 9th June 2016 that Same request will be effected by 11th June 12 .23 00 pm.
Message is reproduced bellow.

On 10 th June I got message

On 7th July 2016 I got my tel.bill for month of June 16 as Rs 348.18. Copy attached as annexure 2 l
I was surprised to see the amount immediately contacted customer care by e mail to check the bill.I got standard reply that As per system bill amount is correct. I tried to convince them by no of follow ups mails . I have askerd them to check the bill . But I was not satisfied with the responces.
If you see the front page of bill you will see graphical representation showing that I have not used at all my net setter in that month. On page 5 they have given details of date 25 th June showing over usage in the month as ( - ). But while calculating it is taken as (+) and charged me accordingly.
I Here by request you to kindly consider my case and give me justice.
I am ready to pay your pro rata bill from 7th June 2016 to 10 June 2016.

2. The subscriber can pay at any of the Authorised Idea outlets through Cash, Cheque (Crossed cheques / draft drawn in favour of IDEA Cellular Limited or by opting
ECS /Credit Card Standing instructions
a. Cash payments SHOULD NOT be sent by mail or dropped in the cheque collection boxes. Please make the cash payments at any of our Company Retail Stores or
IDEA Showroom or nearby VTOP retail outlets.
b. Fill in complete details including Cheque / Draft Number, drawee bank and branch on the remittance slip and write your Account number, cellular phone number
and name on the reverse of the Cheque / Draft.
c. Drop your cheques ONLY at our designated cheque collection drop boxes or at MI or CRS. Post-dated or otherwise invalid / non-bankable/ outstation
cheques are not acceptable.
d. You can also pay by logging on to our website www.ideacellular.com or by giving standing instructions with your bank account/credit card.
e. To build a good credit history, pay on time and avoid late payment fees of Rs. 50/- or 2% of the total outstanding whichever is higher. Idea Cellular Ltd
reserves the right to apply the penalty charges of Rs.200 + tax per instrument towards cheque return and Rs.100 + Tax per ECS/ credit card decline.
f. IDEA Cellular Limited reserves the right to vary the rates of the penal charges from time to time with due intimation.
3. IDEA Cellular Limited may take recourse to any other course of action as available and considered appropriate, subject to TRAI Regulations.
4. In case of delay in receipt of the call details from our roaming partners, the associated charges will get reflected in your subsequent bill.
5. No Migration fee is chargeable to any tariff plan change
6. No increase in rates is permissible in any item of tariff for the next period of six months from date of enrolment.
7. No charge is levied for any service without explicit consent of the consumer.
8. Any security deposit paid by you, is refundable within 60 days of disconnection after adjustment of any dues. In case of any delay, you shall be eligible for
interest on the "due amount" @ 10% per annum.
9. IDEA Cellular Limited will address all statements and notices under customer services application form to the billing address given overleaf. Any statement or
notice will be deemed served within 72 hours of posting by mail or courier.
10. Web based Request & Complaint Monitoring System You can view status of your request/complaint or register the same online through our website
www.ideacellular.com. You have to do one-time registration (if not registered) and then login to my account under Customer Care Section

I, Shivani Agrawal, have lost my idea sim card on 20th September 2016 ([protected]). I have tried calling 12345 and I am unable to connect with the idea customer care who may help me block the sim.

I asked to activate international roaming on my idea number and they told me that i can activate it for free if I pay a security deposit of rs 2000.
I paid a security deposit of rs 2000 to activate international roaming. Now they are charging me an additional amount of rs 87 every month since I activated international roaming which was told to me as free . They should not charge this amount in my bill. I want my bill to be corrected by removing this amount. They cannot charge customer for services which they should receive for free

I have taken a Postpaid number from Idea and immediately there was some dispute in the bill as first bill raised for 4200 after discussions with your outlet the same has been reduced cleared out for actual 1235 but after 2 months o[censored]sage again Idea has tried to over charged me

I have requested them to convert my number into prepaid, But they said it can be done after 3 months only, Now your idea store in my area has closed where I could conveniently approach and pay, I want to pay my outstanding when it can be converted into prepaid immediately, else again they start their billing and my number shall not get converted into prepaid till next billing cycle. But now Idea has crossed all limits as your one of the collection agency lady calling from Mobile No : [protected] this morning spoke to me first confirmed my address and everything, But after that surprisingly reported by some of my Friends, Relatives & in-Laws that she's been calling to them as well, Idea agency has misused my numbers from my call details of an itemized bill by making false statement that she's being calling from First Flight Courier and Some Enterprises of Connaught Place has sent me a courier so she wanted to verify my address. I have also checked with First Flight & That enterprises Connaught Place they have nothing for me to send and they said they will also file FIR for misusing their Company Name.
HOW CAN IDEA OR ITS AGENCY MISUSE COMPANIES NAME & MY CONFIDENTIAL CONTACT NUMBERS.
This is a cheap strategy & not expected from anybody calling on behalf of idea - The Aditya Birla Group and I am your customer on same number & address & not a absconding criminal to whom you have to inquire from my relatives & friends. I have never refused for the payment Just requested to convert my sim to Prepaid at the time of payment only so I can avoid over expenses. I have tried to file FIR Against them but police said it is a regular complaint to them for Idea Customers.

This is the 2nd incident of same kind. I am getting charged Rs. 75 for an useless service which I didn't request for.

I have already raised a complaint still the problem is repeating. This is very much unsatisfying experience. I, being a valued customer as idea quotes; loyally pay bills without any delay since last 4+ yrs. Still customer care wish to just register my feedback instead of taking any further action. This is not expected from idea.

Need a strong action this time with waving off the charges.

My bill shows charges of Internet 801/- for changing plan. I have received call from customer care that it will be waived but now customer care telling that it will be not waived. Also on phone customer care is not lodging my request. I am your valuable customer. If complaint not resolved i have to switch idea to another network

I did MNP from cognizant cdc pune MH. The sales executive told me that the roaming would be free as it is a corporate connection . I came to karnataka used the same number . I never got any message from idea regarding roaming . So for me roaming was free but later bill generated was full of roaming charges . It is not my fault at all. I ask them to waive of the charges .and also my number is barred as this is my primary number it is given in all bank account and professional usage . I have been using Idea Internet for a long time now and have been quite satisfied with it, I used to recharge with 201 Rs for 1 GB 2G unlimited plan with 40 KB/ps after exhaust of 1 GB, but recently they made a huge change by reducing speed to 10 KB/ps after exhaust. This speed is too bad which makes it almost impossible to use apps like facebook, WhatsApp, and other shopping apps...I feel cheated after being a loyal customer for so long. 10 KB/ps is useless, its better to switch to another network which is more economical, Please solve the issue as there are lots of students like me who depended on this 2G unlimited offer, this change has adversely affected us, expecting your help as soon as possible, my phone number : [protected]

I have been using this network to make STD calls since past 4 years. But of late I face huge issues to make any calls STD and even local. There is no instance where I can get connected easily at one go. It wouldn't be able to connect before minimum 5 call drop issues for a single call. Even alter the getting connected there would be frequent disconnections or disturbances.

I'm Using i-399 Plan, I activated Internet Booster in the mid of the month and i have consumed full 1GB data before 25th of the month, so i deactivated i-Booster before 30th in the same month as i don't want to continue in the next bill cycle. But they have charged for internet usage. Not for I-booster. Instead of 250rs they charged 1400Rs for Internet.

Worst idea in my life ever is buying IDEA dongle.

3 weeks back i bought IDEA Dongle. (7/9/2016)

For the past 7 days it is not working.

After my complaint via mail as well phone IDEA executive told it will be sorted out in 2 days. He told it is a signal problem after sometimeo another executive from IDEA told it is Software problem. IDEA team itself doesnt know what is the problem .. Finally i conclude it is the problem of IDEA to recruit a those guys.

Till now no response from them
