sHello, myideaname is vijay godhania and i am from porbandar and i am using idea net setter for last year or so.i have monthly plan of 3 gb for 600 rupees. My last month usage was more than 3 gb so i got sms that you have riched your limit and pay 1680 rupees to continue this service so i went to Idea shop and i gave my net setter number but they said That in our system your outstanding amount is 720 not 1680 so i paid 720. But i saw that still idea service was not started so went back and ask them..so now they are saying you have to pay another 1680 to resume your service. I said i paid 720 so i have to pay remaining 960 but they are not responding and keep saying first pay another 1680 only then we can start your service.     Dear Sir, My name is Shankar from Bangalore from Last 8 months i am Using Idea post paid Connection & i am loyal to pay each month bill as per their billing, till October I don't have any issues on my billing as well as Payment.Oct 10 2013 i bought new Smart phone & start using that but Oct 12, 13, & 14 they activated GPRS & VAS without any intimation & Charged INR 850 for Usage of 568MB.When i asked for the reason they told it will automatically activate we cant do any thing, I agree that its my mistake that i used, still my question is For unlimited plan they charge 199 only for 568 MB why they have to charge 850.In fact in new smart phone package they have mention for Idea Existing customer 500MB 2G data free for 2 months, while sending SMS for each day usage they use to send only usage details but there is no cost for that. For New features they call & update us to use that why they are not intimate us for any automatic activations?They are not providing as on date usage details also.So we don't have any hold on our bill.What ever they send we need to pay.I stopped, making payment now they disconnected my Out going calls.I am really upset of their services & loosing my money, after continuous call also their answer is pay the money & get the service that's all.Please suggest me how to over come with this situation.I don't bather to pay money but without a reason & service i feel its waste. Idea need to change the add we are going to make our consumer Woollu.

      I am subscriber of Aircel i was porting my number from AIRCEL to IDEA on 9/3/2014 i submited my documents on hyderabad i got confirmation SMS to activate sim at 16/3/2014 to make televerification call but still i didn't get signal i am calling idea customer care not responding well..very very very bad service.i recommended dont take idea.You will fall in trouble.

        Hi I was an idea customer and I ported to Airtel. I had made an excess payment of Rs. 500, for which i sent multiple mails(atleast 5 ) to the customer care to return my moey back. All i get is an automated mail or an executive saying we will get back to you. Its been about 3 weeks now but no resolution. Whats going on Idea? Stop Ullu Banoing people. Krishna

          I have properly recharged Rs 99 for 10pis/min (30day validity) calling rate and then recharged Rs. 150 for full talk time. But within 1 day my balanced is over it means either they fraud or there plane not working. I have also talked Idea customer care but from last two day they are given only one answer "SYSTEM IS DOWN CALL AFTER FOR Hr" Please help me

              This is poonam..
              In Oct 2012 I opted to 2G data plan from idea office at thane. and it is mentioned on the form regarding 2G data plan choose by me. They provide me number [protected] and account ID 1.27057254 for the same. After starting Internet connection I recognise speed is good so I go to the customer care and verify it with them and they still told me that its 2G plan.
              After complete of one month they send me bill of 5000 as per 3G usage. On the same day I coordinate with company office and told the situation they will told me that will take action and you have to pay as per your plan.
              But there no response or any action regarding the same, I take follow up 2-3 times with there executive but there is no response.
              On march 14, 2014 one call from [protected], regarding payment of Idea bill and call from delhi court, and my hearing is 3 O'clock. its harassment from the idea for such a fake call.

              I will check this number and found that same kind of complaint for same telephone number.
              I feel i want to go for consumer court.
              and file the case against Idea and the Caller for sharing customer information is illegal and the plan they offered.
              Need suggestion.

                Dear Sir,

                My mobile number - [protected].Today at 10:00 AM, suddenly I got the first screen message that 3 rupees is deducted from my balance and this type of message have only exit option to click. After getting the message this was my first starting mobile operation for the today before that time no outgoing call/message, no incoming call/message.Previous balance was Rs.46.02 and after deducting Rs.3 now it becomes Rs.43.02. After getting balance deduction screen message I called to the complained number of Idea i.e, 198. When I told them all the above situation, they are telling that today at 10:00am I pressed *# with some number. Are they joking with me? I told them after getting sms that was my first mobile handling for the day.Then how can it be possible to use *# with some number before getting sms. At first I used to think at least Idea is good network because I had reliance network they used to deduct money like this.Now idea has become same.This is the first time I am getting fed up on them.

                Please see this matter and try to reback my money into my account.

                    I approached to Nagpur IDEA Manager Mr Ethshyam verbally and also by mail but till date no positive reply, he insists to pay approx 20% of amount which is not justified because i have not used, if you see the bills 100% system fault generated by IDEA.                       Hello Sir/Madam, Myself sachin singh from ahmedabad, i taken an IDEA postpaid connection in Ahmedabad but due to some reasons my no. been used in NCR where roaming was applicable over it, Due to which bill was bit high 1600Rs. for first month and I paid it, I taken another roaming free plan, which consist of free incoming but after that as well bill was 1100. When i complaint of this then nobody helped me regarding this. After few days my number services stopped and even after that they sent me another bill of 1800Rs. and continuously bothering me to pay this amount.                       This issue has been raised again from the IDEA and this time i got an call from which no... He was talking to me in such a way that want to have fight with me to get the bill paid,
                      Moreover i got an another bill of same 1600 by the immediate priority to pay the bill.

                      I would suggest everybody to not to take any connection from IDEA CELLULAR, Either its prepaid or postpaid, Else the threat i am getting for the bill paid, Others can also get.

                        I keep getting annoying internet usage flash messages every few seconds. Please stop them. Calling the customer care informed me they cant stop from their end. I didnt get these when I was on the same number on Vodafone. I will switch back to vodafone if you don't stop them ASAP.

                        Having the same issue with Idea. These flash messages are annoying and spoiling the expereience. Many times, I have to tap 20 times to dismiss all the flash messages. Looks like Idea cannot resolve this. Best would be to opt out of Idea ... still pay the same money, get 3G, but without annoying flash messages.

                            Since November 2013 Idea is add extra amount in my every bill. I tried to port out from Idea to Vodafone since December 2013 but sometime they give false information and some time using false temptation they are not porting my no. I had tried to port out from Idea 6 times from November 2013. 2 times they message that "There are subsisting contractual Obligation" What is this contractual obligation no one giving information about it. I tried Idea customer care number(12345), Idea complaint Service(198), Idea Showroom Gorakhpur and Idea website portal (More than 6 Complaint are still pending to answer) but no one giving information about it and neither they are stoping to add extra Internet charges every time.                               Hi, I had recently ported from Vodafone to Idea. I received a text stating that I had to pay an un-billed amount of Rs.202 to Vodafone. I payed that amount on 18th Feb 2014 at the Vodafone showroom in Thejaswini Building, Technopark, Trivandrum. Then I was asked by Idea customer care to present this bill to Idea showroom. I submitted the bill in Idea showroom at Technopark, Trivandrum the very next day. But on 2nd March 2014, my outgoing was blocked. Customer care informed me that this was because of an outstanding amount of Rs202 with Vodafone. Now I was surprised since I had already paid the amount and submitted the 'original' bill to Idea showroom. The customer care guy said that this would soon be rectified and within a few hours my outgoing would be unblocked. I thought that would be all and my problems would be solved. But that was not to be, on 3rd March my SIM was deactivated!!! Superb right. This is what I get for paying the dues in advance!!! Now I called up the call center guys again and someone again promised me that it was a technical issue and would be rectified soon. I know that it is an issue but how the hell can you deactivate the SIM and take no action for more than 24 hours??? Who should be responsible for all the calls and messages that I have not been able to attend to or make? Now I am wondering why I chose Idea...

                                  Hello, This question is related to IDEA cellular. I have changed the service provider from Airtel to IDEA. After 2 months, I have changed my connection from Prepaid to Post paid. In this process the connection was shifted from to my name to one of my friends name who took a new connection. When I approached the customer care they are asking a fee to change it back to my name. Why should I pay a fee for their mistake? How can a number be changed to someone else with out proper approval.                                     Dear Consumer Complaint forum, I am using my Idea internet on laptop through datacard and my data of internet is still there and it is unlimited. Even then Idea is arguing that client can't use internet on datacard, but can only access it on mobile. They also say that you are not having balance in main account so you can't use internet, but the real thing was that I was still using my internet at that time. Thus it means that they intentionally stop services and ask for recharging main account balance. Cheat date is 2nd March 2014. Best Regards, Manish Saraswat [protected]

                                      I bought a idea 3G smartphone on 3rd november 2013 which I found to be defective the next day itself. The dealer told me to visit the authorized service center to get it repair. the phone even after servicing does not work and the people in service center people want me to give it for repair again. I want a replacement as the product was defect even at the time of its sale and I complained the next day of purchase itself. I do not deserve to keep running for the damage that was not caused by me, even after paying the full amount for it.
