I had port my idea no to other, This no is deactivated by idea on 12 may 2018. Ipaid all bill in advance, But Idea charged me data proration charges after deactivation, for the period 15 may to 14 june 2018. How it is possible, why not charged in the bill previous. It is harassment of customer. TRIE should look into such matters.

    Hi, This is P K Sharma, idea network user since last 8-9 yrs. We were pleased with idea network coverage & were satisfied. But, now since last 2-3 months there is no network coming inside my house. Being esteemed customer to this company & staying in one of the most popular society having this issue. We have called countless number of times on customer care, but no improvement. Every body just passing the baby. So, now I am feeling cheated by idea company & is compelled to go to file a complaint in consumer court .

          I'm idea user since 8 years. 2 years before I converted my other number too to idea. Story started from last Nov-2017. I started facing network issue. Complained several times to idea, but as usual they denied that it is their fault. And repeated the same answer that, if you have 2 lines in range, it means range is excellent.

          It is laughable that 2 lines means excellent range.

          Today received call from Idea social media front. Your response as below ... I'm not buying explanation given. You just working to close the complaints without resolving it.

          "Dear Customer, your concern on Coverage has been addressed through communication ID[protected]. We are having best possible coverage at the address mentioned by you. In case if there is any further upgradation planned, we will inform you. You may call 198 and select option of APPEAL on the IVR within 30 days of complaint closure in case of any dispute. We thank you for preferring Idea and look forward to servicing you."

            My internet doesn't work a lot of times, there is always an exclamation mark, also under my pack I get 100 msgs a day, which I can never send, when I'm in hostel(Chandigarh).
            My message pack never works, internet doesn't work. I switched from Airtel because idea was a promising connection, even my Airtel connections had issues, but it seems like idea is no better.
            Poor customer service, I can not connect to the customer executive.
            What is use of buying such pack when it doesn't work, waste of money.

                  Hi, I had one idea no [protected], was using for one year . The network's was very very poor and I spoke to customer care about this but no use came out of that . later I spoke to their customer care and told them to cancel the no since I was only paying the monthly bill but no usage was happenings due to very poor network .

                  The customer care told me to visit the local outlet and proceed to cancel. I visited Vidyaranyapura outlet for cancelling and they told me to clear the bill . I had paid that month bill due to Idea.

                  After 30 days again someone from Idea called me that still my mobile bill is pending . I was surprised even after telling them to cancel they didn't . Their customer care team continuously calling me to pay the next bill though I told them over phone that I would not need this number any more, and in the mean time my mobile got stolen and I gave a police complaint about it .

                  Even after telling them all these also they continued asking payments . Reluctantly again I went ahead paying the two months bill of almost Rs 900/- plus approximately and requested them to cancel, but they didn't .

                  Most unfortunately even now, almost after 4 months also, they are calling me to pay the bill and visit their outlet . It is so frustrating to see that still Idea Cellular harassment towards the client .

                  I humbly request the concerned to solve this issue and stop the harassment towards the client.

                    It os very awful that idea is not providing better network in our area even though we complained more than 5 times. Each time they are saying we will close the issue and the status remains same.

                    As a customer idea is not fulfilling the promises and even they are hiding the facts with beautiful interaction by some customer care agents.

                      Idea has become a company of scammers. I want to opt out of its services but they are not generating a UPC code. I have sent the PORT 96******** message several times to 1900 but still there has been no reply. Please resolve this issue. The network of idea is very bad where I live. Also they do not give as near good offer as jio does.
                      This is a serious disregard of laws put forth by TRAI and hence this should be resolved.
                      While scrolling through the website I saw various other complaints on the same issue. IDEA should be penalized for this.

                        I am an idea postpaid user my no is [protected]. I got a call for Portable no. Into idea postpaid they told me about plane, they told your plane wil be 249 rs per month after tax you have to pay 299 rs approx I told her to give connection.buy one day another executive call to take new another no. Of idea and told me your running plane is 389 rs per month after tax you have to pay 430 rs approx..if you will take new connection you only have to pay 400 rs only. I think this is not ligle to sell your product to custmer. You are providing wrong information and giving connection to user..now I am can't pay this much of amount when I am getting all this type of facility in only rs 150 approx is prepaid. I am also giving the no. Of executive who called me.

                          Very horrible service. My idea number is [protected]. I received a surprise msg from idea saying that: "Dear customer, you have been charged Rs. 3.00 and your current balance is 9.09." at 20:15hrs on 10 Jul 18. Another surprise msg within few seconds: "Husband: Raja Dasrath ki 3 Raniya thi. Wife: To kya hua? Husband: To main 2 Shadiya aur kar sakta hu. Wife: Dropadi ka naam suna hai? Husband: Tu bhi pagli DIL pe leti hai."

                          What the hell it is? Without dialing any number or request code, how can you simply impose such kind of nonsense deductions? I never ever done this type of request for service activation in my usage history of any mobile. Why don't you have a pot and sit on the road for begging 3 Rs? Is this the way you earn from the users who doesnt pay you a lot on recharges?

                          Then, I called customer care on 12345 and by pressing some numbers on my basic phone and it said that you will be charged 0.50Rs for a minute for talking to customer care! Okay, no problem! The issue is not for mere 3.00 Rs. Its the issue about your forcefully imposed service activation on a customer without any request by customer and without any consent by customer and even, without dialling any request code at his end! And forget about internet web clicking as I am in defence and use a very basic Samsung mobile phone without camera and internet, strictly meant to talk officially to my co-workers. Any way, the customer care picked the call, i told about the problem.
                          To, my next surprise, he said that you have dialled *111# from your mobile!!! What the hell this was again? I said him politely that i never did this and also, i don't have any child in my family who could do with this basic phone! And, even i don't let anyone use my phone! And the last surprise was disconnection of support call from Customer Care end!! And again I got notification for deduction of 1 Rs, by the way, i didn't bothered about it because i had already accepted that and that was pre-known to me by a formal computerised warning just before connecting to the customer care representative!
                          So this was whole case!
                          I again say that this is not mere a case of 3.00 Rs, but this is a case of why they forcefully imposed a service to a customer like me who NEVER EVER did this type of Joke-Service activation request.
                          Now I want following action required to be completed from Idea Cellular Legal Office:

                          1. Provided me full explanation with proof (so that if i take up the case forward then I can use that as authority) why this happened, was there any technical fault or this is your new policy? And if this is your new policy of automatic deductions, then do you include this on your new Terms & Conditions?
                          2. Why your customer care refused to even listen my problem clearly? And why did he disconnected my call? I am paying service tax and per minute charge for getting customer service.
                          3. Refund me a compassionate amount for wasting my time, efforts and denial of customer service from your end including the original deduction of 3 Rs.

                          Sorry for my harsh language but there was no alternative option as i totally tired by your support and service.

                            otp messages from banks & other sites

                            I have been trying to resolve this matter since 5 days. In this day and age I'm not sure how a company like this is surviving with such sub-par services.
                            I am unable to receive OTP's or messages from any website. All I get are IDEA offer SMS'.
                            I'm not getting SMS messages for Courier tracking, Banks, Google verification, App verifications etc. I'm able to get them on my good old BSNL number.
                            My ticket raised on 5th July...

                            I also have idea mobile sim but since I moved into Palsana, Surat, I have encountered problems.

                            I have had no Mobile Voice Service for almost 4 months and made several complaints via email and on their website. My complaints were met with a standard response that there is good network in my area. So why is it that my family and friends cannot get through to me at my home nor can I make any calls for the past 4 months? The signal is zero and zero bars yet I have been paying the monthly prepaid recharge but not getting any service.

                            All I want is a Tower nearby or something idea can do to enable to make calls to my family and friends from home. Thank You

                            Update on 29 July 2018. Idea Cellular has no respect for customers. I am still not able to call or receive calls within my own home...ZERO SIGNAL BARS. My relatives and family are worried about me as they cannot reach me inside my home. They simply have to improve the tower strength to cover my home or install another Tower nearby. Okay so to teach them a lesson I have taken renewed my monthly prepaid plan. If they look after customers, I don't mind going back to them. They simply have to sort out my problem. I just need to make and receive calls from my home. It certainly doesn't make sense why I carry on paying the prepaid amount each month without having decent service.

                            Thank for your swift message. The reason why you cannot get hold of me is that there are no signal bars whatsoever in my home and surrounding area. Please ask the head of your Dept to add a Mobile Tower near my Area so that it can cover both my home and surrounding area. You can check my location as per your mobile systems. Thank you

                            Why must an Aam Admi suffer like this? We pay for a service but never get what we pay for. Thanks for abusing your customers Idea

                              I m from jharkhand. I called 198 IDEA network to solve a issue regarding network. The operator named Jitendra was rude. He don’t know how to talk to customers. He tried to demoralize by changing his language but when I replied the same he returned to previous one. When i called to transfer call to senior, he denied. This is my worst experience. Though his communication skill is weak he tried to speak in english, when I replied in English he returned to hindi. He thought that someone is calling from Bihar or jharkhand don’t knows English.                                 Mobile [protected], conversion requested from postpaid to prepaid through idea store. Request no. C[protected].7.18 and again C[protected].7.18. Both time request cancelled by company saying that your no. Is not connected. On contacting customer care they are telling to contact idea store. On contacting idea store they are telling that this is done by back end team. Also conversion fees of 520 is taken by idea company.

                                  Balance have been cut from my idea prepaid account without my knowledge and when i called customer care for help they just told me that isd message have been sent from my number which i have not sent.
                                  customer care executive have not listen to my complaint and have repeatedly told me that isd message have been sent

                                  i figured the problem on my own
                                  apparently iphone sends a sms to its servers in UK to register the mobile number
                                  most of the indian cellular companies have made this numbers toll free but " Idea cellular " did not,
                                  I would suggest you to contact apple about the numbers and make them toll free since most the consumers have started using iphones in india

                                    Currently I located in Trichy, Tamil nadu.
                                    Here network coverage is too bad for data plan.now i recharge for rupees 398 data plan.but, I can able to use 50 mb per day.it is too as to connect internet and searching something in browser.they won't ready to pay back my money or added to my main balance.

                                    Definitely I have a bad impression on idea network.they didn't provide good customer support.my 400 rupees is lostby putting this plan
