I purchased the machine 3 and half years back on 20th of may i had complaint with the machine (Huge sound) the complaint number is[protected] and customer id is 3846399. 2 days later a service person came and verified it and said drum complaint and it has to be changed. But till this time no response on it. When i call the service centre that is in kerala trivandrum the number [protected] the response is very poor. They are telling it will be cleared soon. I purchased the machine of its quality but service is very poor. I wont be able to reconmend a person of your product

    I purchased a cooker hood ifbgs90tpl (Serial number 002410) from m/s maruti homeappliances 38/243 madhyam marg, near rajat path, mansarovar, jaipur on december 20, 2016 against the invoice number 359 dated december 20, 216. When this appliance was installed in the third week of january 2017, the touch pad of it did not work properly (It was very erratic, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not). The mechanic mr trilok singh, who attended the installation job, tried several times but he failed to make the touch pad of the appliance effective. He told that there was some problem in the part itself and left. He also added that sometimes the appliance gets damaged in transit and in this case, he added that machine had got damaged during the transportation. Next day he again came and tried but the same story. Moreover, he opened the device several times and because of that the screw became loose and after putting a cotton thread around it (Just jugad), he closed the device and left. But he could not make the device in perfect condition. Third time he came, again tried and failed. Naturally, i became furious and asked him to leave my house. He then called his senior fellows from local ifb. Some person named mr alok came and they again tried. Mr alok agreed that there was some problem with the part and left. Fourth time the mechanic again came and did something but the issue remained at the same position.

    Next time i contacted the local dealer m/s maruti homeappliances, who supplied this appliance to me and he came to my house. He checked the appliance and told that yes there was a problem in the same and they could replace the defective part.

    Since the appliance did not work at the time of its installation, i requested them to replace it. Had it worked perfectly even for a single day, i could have asked them to replace the defective part. If an appliance, which was defective right from the beginning, nobody would accept it.

          Washing machine, tl-sdr 6.5kg aqua - defect with hardware

          Hi,

          I got the delivery of ifb - washing machine on 15th april 2017. Next day after demo/installation, when i used to product first time, it gave some weird sound. So i powered off the washing machine and call the customer care for technical support.

          Exact issue - during the spinning process (Last stage of washing), something is hitting inside the washing machine and making loud noise and i feel that vibration...

          I am an army officer and i own a ifb senator 6 kg front loading washing machine (Customer id 3163286). I have been robbed of my hard earned money by fraudulent agents who were sent by your employees under what seems to be an organised racket. I have been posted in punjab, rajasthan and haryana but never did i face this type of rip off from ifb employees.
          The washing machine was working fine in my previous residence here in pune. When i shifted to the new residence i tried calling ifb for installation since the machine was not taking in water. The toll free number given in my booklet was not working. We called on the new number from your website (#[protected] on 3 may 2017. The customer care executive assured we will get a call from technical team within 24 hours. We received a call from technician (His mob# [protected]) who took our address and said he would come within 24 hours. He called up two days later saying he cannot come himself but will be sending another member from their maintenance partner. We received a call that day from mr anwar (Mob # [protected]) who confirmed he will be coming to our place. Mr anwar and his assistance came and checked the machine saying the inlet water panel had to be changed.., that he will have to get it from company and it costs rs4000/-.
          When we said how come a small part for rs4000/- for a machine with total cost of 25-30k he said he will get some discount from the company.
          He came back after two days with the spare part when my wife and aged parents were alone and replaced the part with some other part. He filled the drum and switched on and told my wife to let it run full cycle to drain the dirty water and it will function. They left with the original part with them with the machine running. As soon as the wash cycle ended the machine stopped and did not start again. Anwar stopped taking calls and the actual maintenance technician also avoids taking calls but whenever he does pick up he says he had been out he is coming back and will check. Till today he has neither been able to come back to pune (It seems) nor has he been able to check.
          In the meantime repeated calls to the customer care made them send another technician (Complaint no [protected]) who demanded another set of rs4000/- for changing the same part saying it is not original and he does not know about the earlier visit. Customer care also says they will check but has not been able to do so in 10 days time. Their inability or unwillingness to act makes me believe the tacit understanding of this fraudulent arrangement is institutionalised and being supported by employees within your call centres.
          I have been robbed by persons with assistance from your people. More than the money it is the faith in ifb as an international serious brand (Which had made me choose it's products) which has been shaken. The idea of getting ripped off sitting at home is unnerving.

          I had asked my wife to take a proper bill and the fraudulent bill which they gave to my wife is attached for reference.

          I have sent similar posts to IFB through a number of consumer portals as IFB does not seem to have a direct complaint id ( I did not find it) thinking maybe they have not received it since Ai have still not received a reply.
          Since this message now had been acknowledged finally. I hope to get some response now

          Status wrong. .. the complaint was never resolved😦😠
          I have bought a IFB maxidry dryer with warranty of 4 years, in siliguri. and on transfer to manipur, i got my things shifted. However, the dryer was working fine initially and finally was not working. i raised a customer complaint ticket no: [protected] on dated 16/06/2017.
          However after repeated try with service provider guy he everytime says out of station and will attend ur case tomo. i dont know when his tomo might actually come.
          Very poor response.

              I called customer service for my washing machine repair in hyderabad. The peraon from IFB team came and he's seen the machine and didn't check it. He said that timer has spoiled. And you wont get timer if available i will be back and the timer cost is rs.3000. For this information he has taken rs 400 has service charge even if repaired or not repaired. I demand expalnation how can one take money without proper invistigation and without service. And also demand why there is no receipt against the charge of rs 400.

                I bought a washing machine a week before. It is repaired as soon as i buy. After one week a service man came and repaired. When he holding the wire it will work it was done for two times then the third time it was work automatically. But after forty mts when i wash my clothes machine was under same problem. What to do and where to talk i donot know. Kindly arrange another machine for me. Thank you. Pls. Reply me.

                    Hi i bought ifb senorita vx washing machine worked fine for four years. Started giving problems right after completing warranty. Shows taco error. I called customer care they replaced motor. I am sure this not the case of motor. The problem still exists. Now they need to change pcb? What do i do? Already paid 7000 for motor. Please help

                        I called ifb customer care., spoke with Naveen Rai and he gave me another number and he disconnected.
                        I called him back to ask why he disconnected, and he started shouting and being rude.
                        I want this to be investigated and taken action.
                        Secondly, was waiting for the service person to come for my IfB washing machine servicing and its been a week i am waiting for the same.

                        Need an action otherwise will take legal action.

                          Hi Team,

                          I purchased IFB fully automatic washing machine top loaded in the month of April'17 and for that engineer came for installation on 4th April 2017. After installation he suggested me to take water softener (INR 1800) which will help to enhance the life of washing machine.
                          We have taken the same as he was mentioning that it is approved by IFB only. After 2-3 days I have done the testing of the same and found that softener is not even working, because hard level of water is same as always.
                          Later I have raised the complaint to IFB customer care, but all were in vain, It's been since long I am waiting for the solution. I have raised 3 complaints but all got closed with out solving the issue.
                          Customer executive has asked me to approach directly to service center (RP services Bangalore) on following numbers:
                          +91-[protected] (Prabhu)- Never picked up the call
                          +91-[protected] (Manjunath)- Initially he told that we will resolve but now not picking up the call.
                          Complaint ID's:

                          Initially RP service guy agreed to refund the money with in 2 working days, but all became false. My major concern is how IFB is agreeing in closing the complaints without checking the status with the customer and what is the procedure of escalation, what is the feedback mechanism?
                          I lost my whole trust from that service station, I hope IFB will take some action on it and will resolve it as early as possible.

                              I had purchased a IFB microwave oven 1.5 years ago. It was working fine until two days ago. Suddenly there was a problem in turntable motor, so i requested a visitation of technician. While filing complaint i asked the call centre person that whether there a will be a visiting charge and he said that as the warranty of microwave is 3 years hence there will be no visiting charge.
                              Now coming to the next part, when the engineer came to inspect what the problem was he demanded visiting charges of rs 350. He told me to replace the motor and it would cost me 780 rs. To confirm the charges for service and parts i checked IFB website and there was no mention of either service charge or the prices of parts to be replaced. I was out of options so i agreed upon the charges told to me by technician.
                              After service he handed me a bill of 350 + 780 rs i.e. total of 1130. I have used various products of various other companies and none of them takes service charge if the parts to be replaced are bought directly from company. He took 350 rs, only for opening two screws. This is just height of atrocity.
                              After visitation, a message came from the company to pay 345 rs and no spare part was replaced. To this i called call centre and asked them what were the exact service charges, he answered me 355 rs. Then i asked him to differentiate between the following
                              a message of total bill was received and it said 345 rs
                              i was charged 350 rs
                              and you are saying 355 rs.
                              And i asked him further that why message says that the no spare part was replaced.
                              He was just clueless regarding my questions so he told me that his senior will contact me within 1 hr and requested me to cut the call. After waiting for 1 hr my patience worn out so i looked at the bill properly.
                              This type of bill could have been made by anyone, there was no mention of exact amount of tax included, neither the value of spare part was mentioned properly.
                              I am highly dissatisfied by the customer service of the IFB. At least they should have cleared the doubts regarding bill and proper mention of spare part should have been given in the message.
                              I just wanted to ensure that the money paid by me going into legitimate hands, but due to their improper billing i think that this is just a way to make black money for them.
                              After this service, i highly discourage anyone to further buy IFB appliances

                                For our ifb w/m elena sx 6kg f/l purchased on 5/8/2012, door lock, self timer and 300v mcb has been replaced by authorised service persons from Karunagapally. For the service and replacement they charged a total of Rs.5700/-. But we feel that it is on higherside. The bill is also attached. Being a most popular brand like ifb, we expect genuinity in billing. Kindly verify the bill and let us know whether the amount is reasonable and that we are not cheated.

                                  I own a senorita vx model for last 5 year.
                                  The washing machine mode knob was found to work properly. On complained the ifb engineer visited and told me the mother board has got damaged. As i have renewed the amc a year back they told me that will considered in amc.
                                  Along with that he told me the door lock also need to be changed along with this which he said it a practice to change both and i need to bore the cost of 1000rs. But in amc only excluded parts are cabinet, aesthetic material and rubber material and plastic pipe. This is really looting of people after paying amc. Ticket no. Is [protected]

                                    I am calling to schedule a visit under an existing AMC. I cannot do that if no one answers my call. I have called multiple times and stayed on hold for as long as 20 minutes with no response. Is there a way for you to please call me back?

                                    The AMC expires in a little over a month and if there is no action, there wont b much point to your offering the product in the first place. Why boast of a 24/7 service if you dont honour it?

                                      Sir, we brought ifb dishwasher in march 2017. Since April there's been some issues caused with the machine. We tried all the customer care possible but nothing helped us. Soon after the service man leaves, machine starts showing f5 or f9 errors. very first service man said that this error is not a big issue just need to clean the pipes and all should work fine.. but as soon as he left same error repeats.. then we called the same guy again for reporting the issue, since he had some personal problems so he didn't showed up.. then we called customer service this time they send this service man who checked the washer and informed us that during installation on first day there has been some damage to the pipe under. Also he informed us that the first service man who came to demonstrate has given us the non ifb stand for the machine which would have caused the damage. And he said he will fix that soon but it's been more then 10 days he didn't showed up yet.. so my request to you to solve our problem at the earliest. It's not even been a month since we purchased and it's started troubling us ever since.. so please look into our problem and solve it at the earliest possible
