I purchased a cooker hood ifbgs90tpl (Serial number 002410) from m/s maruti homeappliances 38/243 madhyam marg, near rajat path, mansarovar, jaipur on december 20, 2016 against the invoice number 359 dated december 20, 216. When this appliance was installed in the third week of january 2017, the touch pad of it did not work properly (It was very erratic, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not). The mechanic mr trilok singh, who attended the installation job, tried several times but he failed to make the touch pad of the appliance effective. He told that there was some problem in the part itself and left. He also added that sometimes the appliance gets damaged in transit and in this case, he added that machine had got damaged during the transportation. Next day he again came and tried but the same story. Moreover, he opened the device several times and because of that the screw became loose and after putting a cotton thread around it (Just jugad), he closed the device and left. But he could not make the device in perfect condition. Third time he came, again tried and failed. Naturally, i became furious and asked him to leave my house. He then called his senior fellows from local ifb. Some person named mr alok came and they again tried. Mr alok agreed that there was some problem with the part and left. Fourth time the mechanic again came and did something but the issue remained at the same position.
Next time i contacted the local dealer m/s maruti homeappliances, who supplied this appliance to me and he came to my house. He checked the appliance and told that yes there was a problem in the same and they could replace the defective part.
Since the appliance did not work at the time of its installation, i requested them to replace it. Had it worked perfectly even for a single day, i could have asked them to replace the defective part. If an appliance, which was defective right from the beginning, nobody would accept it.

However after repeated try with service provider guy he everytime says out of station and will attend ur case tomo. i dont know when his tomo might actually come.
