Require AMC spare part coverage and cost details

Hi,
I have IFB washing machine senorita aqua sx 1000 rpm.
I have annual AMC coverage without without Rubber and Plastic parts.

My machine faced problems so I called customer care.
Technician visited and asked shock absorber is not working and need to replace.
He asked me to provide 2200 for shock absorber. It will not come under AMC.

Could you please provide me spare parts details...

I have purchased a washing machine of IFB EVA AQUA SX 6KG 800 RPM on 12/12/2017 from M/S ganesham electrotech malviyanagar jaipur vide invoice no GT 2644/2017-18, I had misplaced the invoice, the machine is under warranty but the are not repairing my machine under warranty they are demanding invoice, my complaint is registered with reference number [protected]

    I own a IFB senorita front load washing machine, recently I observed unusual sound/vibration from my machine and lodged a complaint vide ticket no. [protected] on 05.02.21, the service engineer checked the machine on 06.02.21 and said it's ok. After a couple of days, while washing the machine the drum got locked, hence I again lodged a complaint vide ticket no. [protected] on 10.02.21, this time service engineer visited on 11.02.21 and said there's a problem with the machine front rubber sleeve & to be replaced and it will cost rs.1000, I agreed and he changed it. After changing, I had noticed that drum is still rubbing with rubber, while highlighting it he said it is ok, .then very next wash itself I faced issue of vibration/ sound, then even after repeated calling no one turned up on 12.02.21, again after highlighting the issue to customer care & repeated calling one service engineer checked the machine today (13.02.21) and said that drum needs to be changed and since they don't have stock at hand it will take around 10 days.
    My concern is just to identify the problem it took around 10 days (that too after my repeated calls) and for attention it may take another 10 days, that means it may take 20 days for repair attention of a machine, just think from a customer point of view whether it is acceptable or not. Also while highlighting this issue, the local service dealer responded that it is quite natural. They dont have any guilty or remorse aginst it. I never expected this kind of attitude from the well established & leading brand IFB.
    My second concern is I have paid an amount of rs. 1000 towards rubber sleeve, first of all the root cause of the problem is not with that of rubber, it might have got damaged due to rubbing of drum ( may be due to delayed & improper attention also) but no one is ready to accept it and simply says that rubber parts are not covered in warranty. Just think that you own a car and due to some vibration they are changing the engine under warranty and claiming the cost for all accessory fittings from you, is it acceptable? As an Electrical Engineer I had also dealt so many such cases with various firms and in general, while claiming the warranty the root cause of the failure would be analysed and if it is related to material defect the entire component with all its accessories would be covered under warranty, the warranty will be exempted only if it's an external damage. So please clarify whether the amount paid towards the rubber sleeve is stands good or can it be refunded..
    Also while going through warranty terms and conditions, I had not noticed any such wordings like rubber parts are not covered under warranty, it only says that all parts are covered under warranty for 48 months (attached the user manual). Hoping a positive and early reply from your end .

    2 days back I have recieved various calls from IFB team & they had assured that my issues will be solved in 2 days, as said today have changed the drum and refunded the money collected towards rubber sleeve, very satisfied with the way the complaint has been handled.

      Since my IFB Chimney (Cooker Hood GL 12TS 90 cm) was giving trouble( oil leaking) i constrained to lodge my first complaint to set right the problem on 23.01.21 followed by second complaint on 29.01.21 at the customer care as my first complaint was not heard / attended to. Despite my repeated requests to depute technician to set right the problem the staff at the service centre at Siliguri did not bother to apprise about the free service or it would be paid service. Had they apprise about paid service I would not have shown interested to do the job. So it should have been clearly apprised by the staff about paid service or not. They hide the matter. Today I.e on 11.2.21 the technician visited my residence at about 1900 hrs. Before touching the Chimney he also never bother to apprise about the paid service. In order to clean the Chimney he asked for KEROSINE and I obliged him with the same and he cleaned my Chimney . It is pertinent to mention here that I used to clean same way as did by the Technician. Its not a big job After completion of the work said technician asked for bill and seeing the date of purchase he said that the Warranty of the machine has already been over for which free service will not be permissible. On being asking the service charge Rs 250 I strongly denied to pay as it was not apprised me by the staff at Siliguri before deputing technician. As soon as I denied to pay Rs 250 then he talked with the staff who in turn loudly directed him to dismantled the parts and bring the same. For your kind information no any parts fitted by the Technician. How that lady staff order him to bring the parts. Now analyze who is at fault am I or yr staff. Definitely your staff because she did not bother to apprise the charge. It was her duty to apprise the customer and it is the customer to decide to accept the call or not. So the staff at Siliguri should be penalized for the same. When I have purchased costly Chimney I can easily make the payment. But the way the Lady staff involved in this matter she is very much accountable for the same.
      In view of above I would request the authority to Waive the first service charge of Rs 250 which occurred only due to the fault I repeat FAULT of the lady staff at Siliguri service centre . Hope my genuine urge will be heard . and solved.

        Dear Team,

        This is to complain about the worst service that I received from IFB.

        I have purchased IFB 6 kg 5 star fully automatic front loading washing machine (Diva Aqua BX, White|Black matte, In-built heater) through Amazon shopping website on 23 Jan, 2021. Product was delivered on 26 Jan, 2021. Product has 4 years super warranty and 10 years spares support.

        IFB service engineer had come on 28 Jan, 2021 for the installation of the machine. He wantedly made us buy all the unnecessary products worth Rs. 9945/- such as stabilizers, aqua, stand, fluffs and descal. I insisted all these products as these weren’t mentioned at the time of purchase and it is not mandatory to buy them.

        Service engineer had warned us stating that if we don’t buy these products, the warranty will not be applicable and the machine will be damaged if we don’t install stabilizer and aqua etc.. If we have to install all these, this has to be mentioned at the time of purchase and we would have clarity on whether to buy the product or not,

        Is IFB doing a business of selling washing machine or working for a commissions that are gained by selling this side products??

        And the service engineer and his supervisor is very rude during the installation because only women are available at the time of installation he made us bluff and sold this products

        Now I request the IFB higher level to take an action on them and take back all the products and refund our money else this will lead to the escalation till forum and court of law.

        I expected a much higher level of service from your company and I am quite disappointed. We are really sorry for that.

          I had raised a complaint through IFB customer care since my washing machine was not working. The service engineer from Vishaka Enterprises, Selaiyur, Chennai visited on Mon 8th Feb and initially reported a door lock issue but later he said it was a motherboard issue. Wed 10th Feb he again visited and changed both door lock and PCB along with an additional Service Charge of 590, totally he has charged me Rs.4855. He was very suspicious in the way he communicated and I doubt the real cost of the spares and its genuity as he did not even give me the box in which it came, even after insisting. I need help to understand the real spares & services price.

          Dear IFB,
          IfB washing machine had issues of non draining water.Lodged complaint on your customer care.Service technician came and replaced Power sensor and a pair of shock absorbers.Along with 2 packs of Fabo and 4 packs of decade he made a bill of whopping 7750 Rs which was paid.
          As I could not find genuine spare price list I checked websites where Power supply sensor is priced around 600 Rs. ( It was Rs.2500 on bill for me) and pair of shock absorbers also around Rs.600 ( my charge was Rs.2830).This is nothing but daylight robbery by IFB Authorised service centre at Mysore.p

            We got door error message in washing machine display and we contact your technician they came and told that bold issue we will change but it take Rs. 4000 including service charge. and they did not repair it properly and fixed it again and went now if we called they say door issue once if you change the door it will be perfectly running... I'm experiencing the poor service I will definetly not going encourage to other peoples near by to my neighbours...

              I had an issue with my IFB Microwave and I booked a service request in Nov 2019. In 2 days a person came to house and finished his overview, nicely said we need to change a part and collected Rs. 360 as service charge ( 2 min job).

              Now it is more than 2 months. I called the service center ( Trivandrum, Kerala) minimum 50 times during this time. Every time they say, the person will be coming in 2 days, he is coming tomorrow, he is coming today) and no one came so far.

              So overall IFB service center is keen to collect the service charges upfront for their visit to home, then neglect the further follow-ups or proceedings.

              Finally they came after my long calls and follow-ups for 2.5 months and they concluded this machine to be taken to their service center. They did not take it up. Now I need to take it up to their service center. So when I do that, I may need to wait another 6 months or so. Such a bad service.

                This is the I guess n+1th time that I have complained against the service center at Hyderabad regarding the general service which has not been provided to us for almost 1week to 10 days now.

                Even after escalating this issue with the customer care department the senior management of IFB seems to be ignorant of the entire escalation process that is being followed. I am given to understand that IFB is only to make/ chase money but do not want to provide proper service even though we have taken the AMC for 2 years.

                Till we took the AMC the service center people were literally harassing us by calling us 3 months in advance stating that we could renew our AMC but the moment we paid and took the AMC for 2 years, the entire attitude of your people changed, which is THEY STARTED IGNORING US and as I mentioned above, I guess your company only provides service to the customers who have either purchased the washing machine or those who have not taken the AMC.

                I have called the service center Branch Manager Mr. Kishore (+[protected] several times and even on Saturday had called him and stated that one of the technician who called me on Saturday in the morning (Mr. Sudhakar Reddy - +[protected] was very rude when he said that he can come only after 4PM or so even telling Mr. Kishore that I will not be available after 2PM. Mr. Sudhakar also gave me an impression that he is going to provide the service FREE OF COST and that he can dictate terms and conditions to us.

                I even sent whatsapp messages to both Mr. Kishore and the Area Manager Mr. Prem (+[protected] on Saturday stating the kind of attitude Mr. Sudhakar has and I was told by Mr. Kishore that he would initiate some action against him and also, stated that on Monday (today 8-Feb-2021) he would send a technician between 11AM and 12 noon and it is so sad that even after 12:30 PM no one is ready to attend to our request.

                Even today I was called from the same service center and was asked if they can send the technician after 4PM. I do not understand as to why they behave and harass me in this manner as this seems to be AN INTENTIONAL CALL THAT WAS MADE EXACTLY AT 12 NOON.

                I have requested for the last almost 10 days now that as I too work and have to go to the office the service center staff including the Branch Manager Mr. Kishore feels that he is providing this service to me free of cost and that ONLY HE AND IFB STAFF IN THIS ENTIRE WORLD ARE WORKING AND others like me are at home and do not work.

                That said I wanted your senior management to call me anytime and discuss about this issue and wanted to ensure that either the service center has to be closed permanently or you could appoint some other Branch Manager so that customers like me can be given proper respect and treatment.

                      Dear sir, my microwave oven is not working properly since January 2021 I complained to dealer ‘Hind Collection Pilibhit by pass road Bareilly' he gave me a customer care no. then i complained, after some time a person came to my house after examining the oven he said magneto is not working asked for guarantee card which I showed to him then he asked for cash memo which is not available with me. Today he contacted me saying company has given this part but i will not deliver to you because you have no cash memo, then i contact to dealer then he contact to service centre he says I can not help you without cash memo.

                        Its a shame on the part of IFB that despite my two complaints over customer care to set right my gadgets Chimney and washing machine. I lodged my ist complaint on 23.01.21 and 2nd one was lodged most probably on 29.1.21 . I lodged my 2nd as no technician turned up. Despite my personal call at Siliguri service centre no any action has taken by them. This type of attitude and silent behavior is beyond imagination n unjustified. Its a harredment on the part of valued customer. Further, after directing by the customer executive one representative from Service centre at Siliguri agreed to send the technician on Sunday as we will be not available on Monday. So I contacted concerned technician on his phone no [protected] who agreed to visit my house on Sunday at 1400 or 1500 hrs but I am very upset and anguish that said technician did not visit my house/flat so far. Therefore I would urge before the IFV authority at highest level to take suitable action against the service centre incharge as well as the technician who failed to visit my house . Action taken report be apprised to me. Otherwise I shall constraint to apprise about the bad and poor service to all. Hope suitable action against erring staff will be taken immediately for failing to depute technician.

                          It is highly regretted to state that despite my two complaints lodged before customer care is one was on 23.01.21 n 2nd one was probably on 29.1.21 . Despite my two complaints the action taken by the two service center at Siliguri are very un-attentive/slow which is not at all appreciable on the part IFB. After my concerted efforts one service center has agreed to deputes technician on Sunday I.e on 31.1.21. But not sure whether the technician will reach my residence or otherwise. So please take action against the Manager of Service Centre of IFB for failing to send technician to my house in time. Action should be taken against the erring staff for lackadaisical attitude so reputation of the Co. In the market remain intact.

                              It is regret to inform that despite cleaning the Casstte filters of above brand Chimney the oil is still seeping gradually drop by drop for which I hv lodged first complaint on customer care on 23.01.21 to set right the fault. Since no technician visited my house then I ring to local service center at Siliguri but so far no technician turned up. Again I requested yr customer care to send the technician on top priority but till no techniacian received so far. I am very much surprised to not heed customer complaint by local service center. So I would request the authority to enquire about the matter and the person at fault should be brought to book to avoid recurrence and direct suitable man to attend the job immediately.

                                IFB has failed to provide either service or spare part for a washing machine that is 2 years old whereas their commitment is 4 years support and 10 years warranty which has turned up to be a BIG LIE.
                                IFB has taken 2 weeks but unable to arrange a spare part in a metro city like Mumbai, what would be status in smaller towns.

                                IFB Washing Machine has become a box which is wasting space in my house. I have asked company for full refund as they have failed on their promise, but there is no response either on email or call center.

                                Detail Narration of event to prove the above statements

                                Washing Machine did not power up and complain was logged with Ticket Number - [protected]. Technician visited and said that the power board is damaged due to hard water. He tried to hard sell IFB Liquid wash else it will damage machine in place like Mumbai where we get soft water.

                                There were several calls and follow-up but was told that the part is coming from Goa and delayed. Finally the technician came on 25th Jan to install an old part which did not have any bill or packaging. It was also missing a cushion at the back. Technician installed it in hurry and ran off without checking. Machine did start but got stuck confirming that the part is faulty.

                                I escalated to the call center and came to know that my old ticket is cancelled saying no-one was responding though the fact is that the technician was waiting for the part.

                                New Ticket was opened on 25th Jan and technician sent on 27th Jan who had no clue about the problem and said that the power board is faulty. Machine is 2 years old and they are unable to get a replacement though IFB promises supply of spare parts for 10 years.

                                Call center keeps connecting with the service provider which is full of false commitments and lies. They have no visibility on whether the part has come and if it is old or new.

                                I still have broken machine and only get new Tickets assigned every time. New ticket has come today. IFB has totally failed on Service, new part was provided last Saturday which turned out to be incorrect.

                                This raises doubts whether IFB really manufactures washing machines in India or gets it from someone and does not know the exact part numbers. Enough of this faulty machine and pathetic service, I need full refund of my money wasted on IFB Washing Machine

                                  I have an IFB washing machine which is under AMC had a minor problem with the handle of the machine was replaced with the new one but not fixed properly by technician Narendra (Mob: [protected]) from Uppal branch, Hyderabad whose manager is Mr. Sukur (Mob: [protected]) with Ticket# [protected] dated August 19th 2020. We faced issues since then regarding the door lock and on repeated follow-up with the manager was not addressed and was given temporary solution for it.

                                  Later raised a new Ticket# [protected] on Jan 17th 2021 which was assigned to Safilguda branch and upon analysis by the technician found that the door lock issue was due to bypass to run the machine by Narender and had to replace the entire door frame which incurred me the cost of Rs. 1400 and mental agony.

                                  I request the IFB management to take stringent action against the Authorized Uppal branch team and compensate me accordingly.

                                      We had bought a IFB washing machine front loading on the 14th July
                                      2020. Till date no servicing has been done. We get phone calls informing us that they would be sending the service engineer for the servicing but no one attends.
