Dear Sir,
I have an IFB senator 8kg front load washing machine. It's not working. The digital display keeps flickering. I had taken a AMC. But the technician refused to do the work saying PCB is not working due to cockroach bite. He said PCB board replacement would cost me 8000. Can you please share the exact price ? And what was the point of taking AMC ?

    Dear Sir,

    Our IFB washing machine (5.5kg Eva Aqua VX model) had stopped working recently as the drum was not rotating and we raised a ticket with IFB customer care requesting them to repair the machine. The ticket no. related to this request was [protected]. We specifically mentioned on the call that our washing machine's drum was not rotating and we would need someone to come and repair it. The IFB customer care representative acknowledged this and informed us that the cost for repair would be Rs. 500+tax for minor repairs and Rs.750+tax for major repairs, apart from the cost incurred for any replacements of spare parts.

    Shortly afterwards, a technician had contacted us from the mobile number [protected] and asked us for the details of our location. Once the technician had arrived home, we turned on the washing machine and showed him that the drum was not rotating.

    Without even checking the machine even once, he simply mentioned that the drum will need to be replaced and 2 other parts will also need replacement. We asked him how much it would cost to which he mentioned that it would cost more than Rs.10, 000. He then immediately mentioned that we can get the repair done for free (within 40 days) if we opt for his "AMC plan" and he started literally forcing us to go with the AMC plan. We did not feel comfortable with this as it felt like he was simply trying sell us the AMC for a commission, and so we informed him that we're not interested in the AMC he's offering.

    To this, he simply asked us to pay Rs. 590 for the "visit" he made. We were quite surprised that he was literally charging us for absolutely no work from his end. We tried informing him that the customer care had mentioned the amount is to be paid for 'repair work', to which he simply again reiterated that the payment is for the visit. We felt cheated, however due to the technician threatening tone, we decided to paid him the amount of Rs. 590 via Google Pay.

    I have attached for your reference, both the screenshot of the transaction made, as well as the receipt the technician had given us after the payment was made.

    I implore you to please look into this and refund us the money that was falsely charged from us, at the earliest. Our opinion about IFB has always been really positive till this incident, and we look forward to carrying on with our high regard for IFB. Hoping you will rectify this one blemish at the soonest.

        IFB service engineers not doing any work and taking Rs 650 per visit, hardely coming for 5 minutes, not doing any work .reason giving that they will do when machine will complete broken.

                Hello Sir/Madam,

                We reported an issue in our washing machine on 19th March 2021 and IFB customer care arranged for the service engineer to visit and check the problem.
                The service engineer visited and checked the problem on 19th March 2021.
                They told the door lock is damaged and they do not have parts available in the market for products out of warranty and so the problem cannot be fixed. Instead they suggested us to go for a replacement as the model is very old and they cannot fix the problem for such outdated machines. They charged INR 590/- as the service charge.

                Later I got contact number from my friend who fixed his home washing machine. That 3rd party service engineer asked to send the picture of my washing machine door. He came home on 20th March 2021 and changed the door lock. This fixed the problem and the machine is working now.

                It is very disgusting to see that 3rd party person could fix the problem that IFB customer service engineer could not and they charged INR 590/- to just visit and check the issue but not fix the problem.

                Earlier in Dec 2019 as well we did not get support from IFB for the problem in our washing machine. We BB tried more than 15 to 20 times but no one visited and kept saying the BB model is no outdated and they cannot fix the problem and we have to unnecessarily pay 590/- as busting charges. Whilst we requested them we are ready to pay but we want them to come and check before they can say the problem cannot be fixed. They did not come to check although we requested technical team to visit and check. Agter few days my husband checked and found the drum hook was loose and it dropped down. So he flexed the drum and it started working again.

                My question is why IFB service engineers resist to check and fix the BB problem while others can fix it. Is it the inefficiency of your service engineers or your marketing strategy to force the customers to buy BB new BB models?

                  My fib senorita aqua front loader washing machine was shaking a lot with sound dyring spin cycle. I called customer service and they sent technician. He inspected and said suspension needs to be replaced and it needs to be replaced. I wanted to confirm if that is true but to my surprise the answer from customer service is “what ever technician says is warranty”. They don’t have list of items covered and not covered in warranty. When asked technician why it is not covered, he said plastic and rubber are not covered. This terminology was not in warranty book. It became argument and I had to pay him. If is completely relying on external people to provide warranty services and failing customers

                    I made a complaint this morning to number [protected] at 10.18am Saturday 20th. He said that he would send a tech within 48hours. Tech Pavithran reached my home at 3.40pm. I met him, told him the problem of debris blockage and NO OUT FLOW OF WATER. I had to go out urgently. On my way out, he spoke to me and requested to extend the warranty for 2 years and I agreed and all done. I came to find my machine STILL DOES NOT WORK. He SHOULD have been here to check the machine to work fully as that is his job, but he did not do his duty. When I called him, he said he is on a holiday tomorrow and so he cannot come is his answer.
                    So is this the kind of service techs that IFB employs? Very very disappointed. Let me see what action will be taken. Thankyou.

                      Hi, I purchased IFB washing machine but no one contacted me for installation. I tried to reach IFB but the numbers are not working. They said installation will happen in 72 hours but no one contacted me after 5 days also. Installation request is still pending. If I call to the service customer care they are very rude.                         On Tuesday, 9 March 2021, the IFB technician during service, tried to open the machine, but broke the Smart touch panel. Now the panel is broke and not placed right on the machine and hence the machine is damaged now. The service centre is not providing a replacement and not willing to service the machine. When called the centre over phone, the service office is not having spare parts to service and asking us to pay for the panel. I do not understand why the customer should pay for IFB service technician mistake. I have been following up since 9 March to get this problem solved.

                        The faulty technician (Rajvivegam Authorised IFB Service) did not respond. Neither Rajvivegam did. Lodged a complaint on IFB toll free service. A service personal came today, managed to fix the old panel and made the machine run. Thanks

                          I had purchased an IFB Microwave (23BC4-Black-Floral) on 17th June 2018 from Amazon with 1 year warranty on Product & 3 years’ warranty on Magnetron. There were problems o[censored]nusual sound and ‘no heating’ since a couple of days. I had registered an online complaint with IFB bearing number CB[protected] on 14th March, 2021 Customer Care. Service Engineer of IFB visited the undersigned’s premises and opined that the microwave’s malfunctioning is attributable to a problem with 3 of its components viz. (i) Heating Element; (ii) HV Switch; and (iii) Diode.

                          It is a well appreciated fact that the basic reason of such a type of problem is imputable to non-functioning of ‘magnetron’ which is well under ‘warranty’ as per the terms and conditions of the purchase deal. In the opinion of your service engineer Magnetron is working well, though the heating element along with other components are responsible for non-functioning and informed about an estimate of around Rs.3381/-.

                          This episode is a clear indication of outmaneuvering of the ‘3 years’ warranty clause on magnetron’ and shirking away with the responsibility of fulfilling the corporate promises to its customers.

                              Washing machine is under warranty, there are flakes(Dirt sticking to cloths) in the washing machine, raised a complaint on 7 th of march 2021,

                              Every day since then following up wit customer care for service, assigned technicians are 3, not even one is responding and even telling lie that they visited the apartment n we dint received there call(fake guy).

                              I’m wondering like company like IFB are giving so pathetic after purchase service, its a mental harassment at this time to covid to follow up.

                              I have 2weeks of cloths to wash does IFB get this laundry done for me.???????

                                I logged a complaint against ifb 9.5 top load washing machine on 27 feb 2021. It's tub changed by your company after 4 or 5 days but after 10 days it is in same condition before repairing. This machine is repaired many times but now I don't want it repaired. I want you to replace it .

                                        IFB washing machine front load 5.5 kg (ELENA DX ) is having more sound from the motar bering during operation. I had AMC/EW NO[protected]. Rs 2478 was paid for AMC on 5/3/2021. Still no one is attending the complaint. 0
