Happened in May 2020. IFB service person arrived after complaining about 'Conn' Error. He did not identify the cause for this error, just ran the machine and told to check with some clothes. The 'Conn' error did not appear again but there was water leakage from the bottom of the machine, so raised complaint again. Now the service person came. He took some pictures of the washing machine, asked which detergent we are using (which is not IFB's detergent by the way) and told us that since we are not using IFB detergent and stand they cannot service the machine. I could not understand that what kind of cheap tactics are these?

I called IFB multiple times regarding the same issue and no body at IFB responded on the cheap tactics used by IFB service person. All they could say was IFB detergent and stand are recommended, but there is no such thing that only IFB detergent or stand are to be used to provide service.

What actions are you going to take to curb these kind of cheap tactics being played by the service/sales executives?

I am still waiting for a proper response on the question, that while using IFB trolley (stand) if the machine is damaged due to fault in the trolley, the warranty is valid or not?

      Looting the customer in the name of service

      We have lodged a complaint on 7/6/2020 via ticket number [protected] as front door of the washing Machine is not getting locked properly. So it's showing some error and it's not starting. The service personal visited the house today and he charged Rs.3195/- (please verify the bill attached) for changing the gasket for the door.       ifb washing machine escalation about service

      I am complaining about my washing machine service for the past 3 months without proper response from ifb customer care till today. Whenever i raised a complaint after 1 week the ticket is getting closed and asking for the feedback for the service not provided from ifb.       Dear sirs
      I am sick and tired to get the service from you even with n number of follow-ups and mail. I am totally fade up and regarding your service. I bought ifb micro oven for about a year back
      With an extended warranty of 3 years. Last three weeks i am trying your service department, but could not resolve it. I received an sms from the service desk and deputed your service engineer says"dear customer, jeeves engineer adam ali n [protected] will call you to fix an appointment. To reschedule your service kindly click on www.jeeves.co.in/track/0E30EWCHSC[protected] if satisfied with service, enter at time of case closure else enter"0""
      I called him and asked him about the visit. He asked me about the problem and i told him oven tripped the main breaker within a minute or two. He suspects door switch and magnetron
      And that spares are not available at chennai office and place order for the above and expected on monday. But there is no response from him. I called him and asked about the spares. He doesn't know the status and there is no commitment from him.
      In this situation what can i do? Can i wait for another year to resolve the problem? Or you need to follow up every day. Please let me know the timeline.

        Don't go for ifb company products. They have the worst service. No one from the top management to the technicians will listen to your complaint. It will just ruin your peace of mind. They will just consume all your energies and finally, you will have to give in and call the local technician to do the job.
        I have tried for 20 days to get my washing machine repaired but to no avail. I gave up and had to get it repaired by the local technician.
        Won't even suggest the enemy buy it.

          The machine is not working for last 3 months and i have been raising complaints for one or the other issue continuously from the date of purchase. It is getting corroded and rusted. I have filed numerous complaints since the purchase date wrt machine having technical issues every now and then. Now this new defect has come up.

          This washing machine i had bought on september 02, 2019 and since the beginning of time, i can say that, i have spent more time getting in touch with you and your technicians for the defects (Technical and physical as captioned above), than washing clothes in this machine.

          Since this defective machine is under warranty and it hasn't even completed a year from the date of purchase, i have continuously requested you to replace the defective piece. Even one of the company's representative had taken pictures which indicate the machine is operated in suitable conditions and should not have corroded and rusted this soon.

          Please find attached pictures of the washing machine for your perusal.

            Hi,

            The machine is still not working. It is getting corroded and rusted. I have filed numerous complaints since the purchase date wrt machine having technical issues every now and then. Now this new defect has come up.

            This washing machine i had bought on september 02, 2019 from vatanakool dealer for ifb machines and since the beginning of time, i can say that, i have more spent more time getting in touch with you and your technicians for the defects (Technical and physical as captioned above), than washing clothes in this machine.

            Since, this defective machine is under 10 years warranty and it hasn't even completed a year from the date of purchase, i request you to replace the same or refund the price paid for this defected piece.

            The local centre is not responding to calls and seems useless.

              I have raised txt-[protected] ticket on may 25th 2020 and the technician came on 29th 2020 and inspected the ifb washing machine but saying that there is a problem with the board which we have raised ticket ([protected]) 3 months back (Pfa) paid 2175 and the board got changed now again he is saying an internal circuit wire connection is faulty and must be replaced. We supposed pay 2000 + rupees for replacing that, which is already under amc coverage. Technician says as per the terms the wire cables inside the ifb machine is not covered under warranty, please confirm the same.

              We bought the machine almost 10 years ago and i would like to know why in recent years (Every 6 months) the machine keep on getting into this kind of trouble often, every time a technician comes and advice us to replace something in the machine which costs at least[protected] rupees despite being under amc coverage (I have attached the bill copy of issue occurred 3 months before and previous issue bill copies. If needed i will search and add all the bill copies previous we had)

              I have been calling and following up with customer care support and send email to [protected]@ifbglobal.com address. But no cares sincerely. They said the issue will be escalated to next but nobody called till now. Can anyone please address this issue. I would request someone from the escalation point to explain to me why the ifb machine is keep on ran into problems very frequently? Is there any other alternate permanent solution for the same? Would you recommend to replace/buy a new one? Because we already spent more or near the amount we spent for purchasing the machine 10 years back. Please provide clear explanation on this issue.

                  Dear Sir,

                  I own an IFB Washing Machine (Eva Aqua VX, Machine Serial Number:[protected] for which I had purchased an AMC on 13 Aug 2019 and which is valid until 12 Aug 2021.

                  For the past 2 weeks the washing machine's door does not shut because of which I am unable to use the machine. I had lodged a complaint about this ten days ago (Complaint No: [protected]). I was promised that a technician would be sent within 4 days.

                  Unfortunately, till date no one has come. Upon contacting the service center again, I was told that since I am not in a "Green Zone", it would not be possible to send a technician.

                  I find this reason given by them to be absolutely baffling. On the same day when I called their customer support to order their liquid detergent, their salesman happily came the next day with a dozen detergent bottles which I purchased. If my area is safe for their salesman to make a sale, it is surely also safe for their technician to come and provide repairs.

                  Further, technicians of ALL other vendors including Airtel, Tata Sky, Vodafone, Eureka Forbes, etc, are regularly coming to our building without any complaint. Hence I fail to understand why IFB would not send their technician.

                  Our building follows strict coronavirus safety protocols including the compulsory wearing of face masks, use of hand sanitizers, etc. There has not been a single coronavirus case in the building (and even in the neighborhood). There is absolutely NO threat in visiting our building.

                  I can only imagine that the coronavirus is being used as an excuse to delay service to a customer who has already paid for an AMC and has nowhere else to go in order to divert resources to other customers who would be paying for one-off service requests.

                  After getting no response from their customer support, I sent an email complaint to "[protected]@ifbglobal.com". I was told someone will get back to me on the same day. Again that was 3 days ago. No one has contacted me.

                  I would now like to know where do I complain against the Complaint Center?

                    I had booked a neptune dishwasher sx1 on 19 may 2020 from ifb point at vajarahalli, kanakapura main road, bengaluru 560062 order cum receipt no.: 1018450/rec/app/000067dt: 19 may 2020.

                    Mr. Hidayat shariff who was in charge of this ifb point assured us of delivery on 23 may 2020 the commitment date with his contact details was personally marked by him. To date i have not received the machine though promised by your outlet.

                    After many personal visits, i was told that the ordered machine neptune sx1 is discontinued and in place of that neptune, vx plus can be delivered immediately. But in vain. Until today i have not got any update nor calls from the ifb point.

                    I went to ifb point thinking that their services would be better as they are the company's direct outlet. However, i am saddened to note that such a popular brand ifb has had no responsibility to confirm the status of my delivery until today though i have paid the full amount.

                    I do agree that these days the common reason seem to be the pandemic and having consideration i have waited for a long period of time considering the present situation due to covid19, my request to receive a mail from your end on this issue on the status of my order has not been addressed. Infact, i really had to work a lot to get through a contact point where i could complain.

                    I would like to know as to when i will be receiving the dishwasher from your end
