Hello,

I have placed my Order No: [protected] for a Homeopathy medicine on 8th Jan and delivery date was given as 16th Jan 2014.

and on 14th Jan without informing they change the delivery date to 18th Jan 2014 and give wrong courier details in my account.They provided two courier companies names: DTDC and bluedart (Do not know which courier is shipping my details!)

DTDC (Tracking No: bluedart[protected]) ----

and on going to bluedart tracking, this courier number is already delivered on 13th Jan.


This ambiguous behavior is not accepted from the website.

    Dear Sir/Mam, I did order MMX 353g data card online from Indiatimes shopping. My Order Id is [protected] & Case Id 1225945. I received wrong /defective product. I did call him for replacement. On 31 December 2013 they called me back & said we 'll send someone(courier) to replace it before 3 January 2014. but now they are saying that we can;t replace / cancel it. Kindly solve it ASAP Thanks

      Dear Sir/Mam, I have ordered an item from your website on Dec 28, 2013, 08:58 PM. Item details :- Order No: [protected] Item Name : Philips Induction Cooktop - HD4941 Today, I received a call from your helpdesk saying that incorrect item has been ordered. And further she said that this is not an induction cooktop rather its only utensils for it. On further questioning, I got to know that this is a technical glitch on your website. Although i have ordered correct item only. but customer care executive insists on cancellation. Reason for cancellation of order has been mentioned as “WRONG PRODUCT UPDATE WEBSITE”. How come a national level reputed shopping website has not able to find the technical glitch before deducting the payment from customer. Why the item has been booked and then cancelled without any satisfactory reason ? Why the indiatimes.shopping is not able to convince the customer about the mistake they have done? Had I have been informed that day, I could have bought it from some other reliable website. This is my first purchase from this website and I must tell that this is horrible experience for me. Request you to look into it and please revert back with satisfactory reason for cancellation of this product. I had ordered correct item and i want my item to be delivered otherwise i will go to consumer court.

        I had ordered a Samsung Galaxy S3 (Pebble Blue color) via order number [protected] from Indiatimes online shoppingon 23rd Dec '13 using a flash promo code offering flat 12% off. The order was sucessfully booked and confirmed. The order status showed Verified and mentioned an expected delivery date of 30th Dec '13. Also, SMS was received from the credit card company that your transaction has been converted into EMI scheme with 13% interest with effect from 24th Dec'13. Today, I got a call from Indiatimes shopping call centre telling me that the product is out of stock and they wanted to confirm with me if white color with do instead of the pebble blue color I had ordered. However, my contention to them was that why was the product available for online shopping when the product was out of stock? Why was the order booked? Why was an ecpected dated told to me? Why was the EMI transaction arranged with the Bank by Indiatimes? If the product was out of stock. From this event it seems that Indiatimes Shopping goes overboard if giving out offers which they cannot fulfill snd so they need to depend on all such excuses of "product out of stock" and their other terms & conditions which are forced on consumers to save their interests. Finally, they offer you a cheaper alternative or a different color variant without compensating the consumer for their loss of another opportunity to buy the same color product at cheaper rates than the current rates they offer. Worst, when you wish to speak to their customer care before confirming on order cancellation, they go ahead and cancel your order and then tell you to rebook at the current rate which is definately highet. What more you loose out on the other online offers during the period uou are expecting you delivery from Indiatimes to face the agony of your order cancellation later. It has been a really bad experience wonder whether Galaxy S3 is really out of market. Can see them in all stores selling mobile phones in the vicinity of my residence, then why can't Indiatimes source one from them and save having a dissatissfied customer? Regards, Jayesh Gulani

          Indiatimes cheaters, frauds, stupid people .I have ordered Reebok Shoes on 24th November and my order id is [protected].My product was to be delivered on 4th december, they delivered the product on 9th th december that too of wrong colour ...On call representative told me to send screenshots by email for the wrong colour of shoes...New case1197036 was created...They told me that person for reverse pickup will come on 17 dec...No one came...When i called them again their manager told me no one is able for reverse pick up, so I should courier the product on my refund of money for and they dont have the product available with you..If they dont have product why did you deliver wrong product...Money for courier and product will be returned, this is what their manager told on call .Their manager was to send an e-mail...Not even a single e-mail has been received...Seriously these people are the real cheaters and frauds...People like them should be taught a good lesson...They just cheat and steal people money... .People like them should be thrown out of online shopping business...What is the guarantee they will return my money and that too on time...Really shame on indiatimes shopping...Cheaters, Frauds, Stupids, Thieves, Lootere Manu Mahajan [protected]@gmail.com

            I have purchase Gas Cooktop(Padmini CS 4GT Jalwa-Order No:[protected])(Invoice No:Til0156 dt:12/11/13) It had Offer of "Free Gifts hampers {2 assured gifts worth Rs. 3960 - Revlon Beauty Hamper worth Rs. 1080 & Arrow Gift Hamper worth Rs. 2880} with the above said product, which were not delivered to us at the time of delivery of the above said product. We have taken this delivery after talking to Mr. Saizan from customer care of M/s. Shopping.Indiatimes.com and our discussion ID given was 1168471 as per their records. He assured us that the free gifts will be delivered to us within 5-7 days.But till 17/12/13 we had not received our free gift hampers. We had written several mail and talked to the customer care of Indiatimes Shopping people to deliver us free gifts as assured by them; but they are not paying any attention to our request.                 To start with I am not at all a happy customer of Indiatimes. After doing extensive online/ offline research, I zeroed down to this washing machine Godrej 6.5kg Fully Automatic Washing Machine - WT 650 CF (Carmine Red) with order number [protected] on 11th November for my mom this winter.I was confident of both the Product and Service that I was going to get as indatimes being a TOI initiative. Alas now i believe I was totally wrong. Anyways i will illustrate the course of events that followed after my purchase. I followed up after 6, 7 days about shipping with Customer Care as i wanted earlier delivery (delivery date being 28th nov) and was informed that they will try their level best to deliver it before 28th Nov. Again I called up on 21st nov and was informed it was due for shipping on 20th Nov itself but it couldn't somehow. On 21st it will be shipped for sure. But then on the same date i got the intimation that suddenly the product has gone out of stock and it can't be delivered. The mail even gave the false impression too as in i cancelled the order myself. Content of the mail from indiatimes said "Sorry to hear that you want to cancel your order". What an irony and what a false claim. The best part is consistently from that day i can see the product listing in the indiatimes website available for purchase to this very moment as well while submitting my complaint. Please find below the URL http://shopping.indiatimes.com/electronics/top-loading-fully-automatic/godrej-6-... and check it out yourself. Now i have too many serious accusations for this company. I never requested for order cancellation sohow could someone give this false impression in mail. If the product was out of stock when i placed the order then why the same was not updated in their web site. Was their inventory management system that bad? And if it was in stock that time then why they didn't deliver it to me. What took them 11 days to check their stock? Why even after intimation to me by indiatimes on 21st nov still the product is listed in their website(today being 26th nov). Is it some kind of a scam where customers pay good amount for a product then they earn the interest component for 15 20 days and then inform the customer that product is out of stock and return the principal amount paid. Good way of earning interest without even doing any work. Kudos to this way of generating profit. It is a nice business proposal and it should be taken up by other online sellers as well. This looks a big online scam to me. I would like to hear back from you. I guess i shouldn't leave any stone unturned for justice to prevail. I tried to follow up with their customer care many a times after that mail but mostly informed that they are escalating the matter and they will get back to me but they never did even till today. I even sent few mails even to their operations head. See i bought this product for my mom especially for this winter season and indiatimes ruined her excitement completely. Thanks. According to me even after all that hassles i had to go through i said the least indiatimes can do is to provide options for similar product with same delivery date and similar configuration i was getting when i got the product. I asked them to arrange a w/m of similar configuration and similar other attributes including discount(15%), gift items as was applicable while i placed the order and deliver it before 28th nov. But they are not at all bothered about customers’ concerns caused by them. They want to pocket in the interest and return the principal sum by 5th december. Just returning the full money after 20 days looks a bigger conspiracy to me and i will be completely vocal about it. I have few more concerns to state here: - I was getting good offers both offline and online at the time I placed this order which I have missed out on now. What about my sunk cost, opportunity cost and all the mental agony, follow up calls, efforts i had put in, hassles that I am going through even now. - If the product was out of stock, what took Indiatimes 12 days to realize that (without any intimation to me on delay) even after following up with them regularly proactively? - What is the value of all the inconvenience indiatimes has caused to me in terms of holding up my money for a long period as well as now when I am having to wait for the refund so I can restart my hunt for a good deal on the product? - Given that I needed this product for my mom especially for this winter season and they ruined everything completely. Of course they owe me the money I paid, there is nothing special they are doing to refund my own money back after eating out all the interest earned on it. Few information i would like to share with you in addition is that the product is still shown in the website (http://shopping.indiatimes.com/electronics/top-loading-fully-automatic/godrej-6... and customers can buy the same though the discount offered is not INR 2504 but only INR 1335. So either they are lying that the product is out of stock else indiatimes wants to earn interest in the same way from many other customers via same vicious cycle. FRAUD. Also I opened a case with indiatimes but the same was closed (case no# 1174486) without any remarks and without even consulting me. I guess i would like to inform that they have lost one customer for lifetime and i would share this information to as many potential customers as i can and i will post to all the online consumer forums. What bugs me is that nobody even cared to empathize with customer from their business front. I have lost all my faith in them. Also I have snapshot of the product availability on their website.                 I got to know another version from Indiatimes today (27th nov). I got a call from their social escalation desk and they asked me about my concerns. I was informed this time that the product is in stock but the delivery area is not serviceable by the concerned vendor. I am totally stunned by this new piece of information. This is becoming more and more filmy with ever changing twists and turns. Still in their website the product is being shown as it can be serviced to my pincode. I don’t think they can shy away from their blunders in any way. How many blunders will they make.
                To this date I was aware that the product was out of stock and all of my earlier follow ups with them the same was told to me several times. Their customer care representatives and few escalation managers all had the same version of story that the product is out of stock. But I never thought that all of them would tell me a lie so bluntly to hide another gaffe up. But now that I have voiced my complaint against Indiatimes and raised a concerned regarding such illegal practice they have changed their stance. But still the million dollar question remains as it is. It was being shown in their website that the product can be delivered to the address I mention. Even to this moment it is being shown in their website that the particular product Godrej 6.5kg Fully Automatic Washing Machine - WT 650 CF (Carmine Red) is serviceable to my pincode 834008. Please check it out yourself. I don’t how come such online e-commerce company (Indiatimes) change its version so many times for a simple order. I don’t know what to believe and what not to believe. I still haven’t heard back from their business front as such cases can be fixed only by people who has decision taking power who can make some exception if needed not by any escalation manager or something of that sort. This is really very sad.
                I have still given them time till tomorrow EOD(28th nov) that the least they can do is to arrange a w/m of similar configuration and similar other attributes including discount (15%), gift items as was applicable while I placed the order and deliver it within 3, 4 days. The earlier delivery date was 28th nov as mentioned already. Let’s see what happens. Good or bad whatever it is I will definitely update and post here.

                  I ordered a samsung galaxy core worth rs 11660 on 10 th of November, 2013.But when the item is not delivered till 19 th of November, i called to their customer care.They told me that the product is RTO ie return to origin.But the sad thing is that the tracking id which they provide is wrong and without any of my knowledge the item is RTO.When i requested them to reshipped my order, they told me that the new order will be generated in2 or 3 days then reshipped my product.But now it has been more than 80 hours, they neither shipped my order nor informed me about any update.When i call them 2day(22/11/2013), they said they will need another 2 or 3 days.My question is that if you cannot satisfied your customer then close your business.I need my item any how india times shopping.You were really third class site.

                    Hi, I purchased a Samsung Grand Quattro for RS 14, 000/- from the indiatimes shopping website www.shopping.indiatimes.com Order ID: [protected] and it was shipped to me on the 12th Nov 2013. On opening the mobile I realized the back cover of the phone damaged from which it looks like the phone is either damaged or refurbished. Hence I immediately raised a complian for replacement as below and called indiatimes. They informed me in 2 days someone will pickup the phone and give replacement. Only after 10 days on the 22nd Nov I receive a call that they need photo of the mobile to take this any further. Because of this delay and frustration now I have asked for a refund but when they take 10 days to reply on a complian I doubt these people will refund the money and if they do god knows how much time it will take for a refund. Is this acceptable that 1st of all after taking RS 14, 000/- from me they send a damaged phone and now are troubling me. This is pure cheating people and no one should do shopping from this website. This is the worst online shopping experience I have faced and would like to take these guys to consumer court and claim refund and damage.                       I had place an order for a mobile Nokia Lumia 520 (Order#: [protected]) on the 3rd of November 2013 from India Times Shopping. On the 9th of November the people from India Times Shopping came back saying that the mobile is currently not available and they will ship the order in next 3-4 days. But when i checked the mobile was still available on their site. I repeatedly called them up after 3-4 days and they kept on saying we have raised a Case Id (Case Id# 1164541) and forwarded it to the concerned department. On the 15th of November I called up the service desk nearly 4 to 5 times and spoke to Mr. Bhanwar Sahu and some other people. They were not able to provide me with any resolution and only told me repeatedly to wait for some more days. I was not willing to wait for some more time as it was already 12 to 13 days from the date of placing the order and wanted an instant resolution as was in urgent need off the mobile as I had to gift it to some. After so many times contacting them and each time their harsh behavior ultimately Mr. Shams Siddhique contacted me and told me that they will not be able to ship the item in the given shipping address as it was a non serviceable area and they will require to cancel the order. I told him not to cancel the order and to ship it to some other address but after repeatedly telling him he cancelled the order. I have below concerns and complains against the India Times Shopping network and want to get it answered and some resolution for the wait: 1. Shouldn't I be informed right after placing the order or within 1-2 days for the service not available problem? 2. Why did they give me wrong information that the item was not available when i could see it was available in their website? 2. Was it right to cancel the order after waiting for so long time and why could they not take a change in shipping address request? 3. The customer service representatives were also not providing me correct information and one of them even shut down the phone while I was speaking. 4. Shouldn't they provide me with some compensation for this kind of service and the time and money both spent in getting the updates?
                      I too faced Similar kind of problem while buying a Samsung S3.
                      The service is very poor and also the discounts shown on the website are just to divert once attention with the the ordered product not getting shipped.
                      Not at all expected for a network like indiatimes which is such renowned.
                      Me three, I also have Faced similar problems with the site.They have the worst customer service.I bought an xperia z.i requested them for address change.Next morning i got an email that my order was cancelled.They don't even call customer or even enquire.

                        I purchased Samsung galaxy core mobile phone from the online shopping website (www.shopping.indiatimes.com) indiatimes shopping on 27th October, 2013. After that on 2 November, 2013 I got Wrong delivered mobile phone which is Karbon Titanium s9. indiatimes shopping made wrong phone delivered to me. After that I request for canceled that order (order no. [protected]) but they are still irresponsible to me and they are not giving any response me. i call them many times and sent E-mails daily but they are not made any action regarding cancellation my order. and said that just Wait and Watch. they could not made refund till today. they informed me on the call that they arranged to take away wrong delivered phone return to them but till today they can't made any action regarding to this.

Since Time of India news paper is standard, I thought the product also wound be good. But all my opinion had gone vain. So I would suggest you all, before you are going to order think twice and order it.

                            Hi Team I bought a wireless mouse from shopping.indiatimes.com for about Rs 450/- The product that they sent was not the same as displayed and had less items as mentioned on the product page. Also, the outer packing was fine but the inner packing was tampered and put in place with cello tape. On complaining they took a lot of time to give a response. They agreed to replace the product and their courier person took the product.For one and a half months, neither did they replaced the product nor refunded my amount. I have sent repeated reminders to them and even escalated the case. I have order# [protected] and complaint# 1095184 with them Please help to get my money back with the interest and the money spent on the telephone calls. Thanks Najam

                              BE AWARE FROM ONLINE SHOPPING SITES LIKE INDIATIMES SHOPPING.

                              THEY ARE NOT RETURNING MY MONEY WHICH IS STUCK BECAUSE OF SMALL MISTAKE WHILE PAYMENT OPTION.

                              NEITHER GOODS RECEIVED, NOR MONEY.

                              The customer care are saying sorry we are unable to refund you. your money/voucher is expired (in few hours)

                              Be careful if you are shopping with INDIATIMES SHOPPING...Don't waste your money.

                                Hi, I placed the an order for Lava Iris 458Q phone on[protected] st shopping.indiatimes.com with Order No. [protected].The order was supposed to deliver on 03rd October. But it was not delivered even after 3 weeks. I raised the issue with them and was assigned case Id : 1114400. I was contacted by the courier company who told me that they could not deliver the order due to some problem at their end. I then requested indiatimes to cancel the order and issue refund. They told me that refund could be issued only after they receive the product back from their courier company which may take time. I asked them to issue the refund immediately without waiting for the courier company to send back the product but they declined saying that it is their due procedure. I have been suffering due to sheer negligence and refusal to issue immediate refund. All my queries are replied to by generic messages saying that case manager assigned to this complaint is diligently working with the respective departments. I request you to take up the issue with shopping.indiatimes.com and ask them to issue immediate refund to me. I am attaching my complaint page with case details for your consideration.                                   I ordered Coloressence Compac (Ivory) from Indiatimes Shopping online; however, the delivered product (Coloressence Compac (Ivory Biege)) was wrong. I contacted Customer care to replace the same but they didnt change it & after that i got a confirmation call from Customer care that the money for the product will be refunded as they dont have Coloressence Compac (Ivory) in their stock. Again after that day the customer care called me & said that there is no policy of replace & refund of product in their company which was not communicated to me at the time of initial complaint.                                       I have ordered a Samsung Galaxy Core I8262 (Metallic Blue) phone vide order no [protected] on 2nd september 2013 and date of delivery was 10th sept 2013. But i never received the product and lodge a complaint to india times shopping on 11th september vide complaint no 1078962. But no resolution of complaint was made and was never informed from indiatimes shopping about status of my order. On giving call to india times every day i was told to just wait 48 hours every times and lastly informed that my product had returned back to indiatimes again. So, i have given a cancellation request on 19th septmenber 2013 and was informed that order will be cancelled within 48 hours but its 4 days no information regarding cancellation is given to me. India times is just informing that your complaint have been forwaded every time. Kindly help me in getting my hard earned money back
