This is for your kind information that I have purchased an air conditioner from Indiatimes Shopping on April, 28th, 2013against order id-[protected]. To my utmost surprise on the very next day i.e. on 29th of April the order has been cancelled by the site for the reason not known to me and I had been intimated about that and furthermore I was assured by their executive that the full refund of the same will be credited to my credit card account in two days. It is very unfortunate to say that the same has not yet been credited to my credit card account. When I contacted the customer care I was not given satisfactory answer about the refund which is but obvious mandate in these cases when the company is not able to dispatch the stuff , they should have done the same immediately without harassing the customers. Moreover if they are not having sufficient inventory , why do they confirm the orders and take the payment online. Some action in form of penalty should be initiate against the online shopping company in favor of the customers. Waiting an early and favorable response from your side regarding refund of full amount and compensation there off.

    INDIATIMES SHOPPING FRAUD WEBSITE! CHEAT ALERT!!

    It is with utmost regret after purchasing from Indiatimes shopping, that I would like to give in my complaint.

    I purchased "O General 1.5 Ton Window AC - AXGT18AATH", Order no: [protected], from Indiatimes shopping on March 25, 2013. I received the product on April 05, 2013 via FEDEX /[protected]. Upon opening the package I found the product to be damaged.

    Damage details and problems:
    1. Severely damaged AC housing/frame, which is dented.
    2. Cracked and broken AC front cover/grill.
    3. Manufacturing defect in AC front cover/grill. (pics sent for proof)
    4. O General people say that this product does not hold national warranty (the dealer bill is from Kanpur, UP and I stay in Gurgaon, Haryana)

    So I registered a case no. 788210 the very next morning, with the hope that they will cancel my order. But till date there has been NO RESPONSE from their side, inspite of multiple follow-up calls.

    The summers are here, and I dont have an AC. My hard earned money is stuck with this fraud E-Commerce webiste Indiatimes. The customer care people just make false claims and so does the company shopping.indiatimes.com. Complete cheaters. No one listens, once they have got the amount. I did not negotiate on the payment, so why should I be made to suffer for the services. Please help me get my money back

    Dear Sir,

    I had placed an order from an advertisement in the Times of India from the india times shop online. They processed a payment on the 21st June and the product was supposed to shipped within 5 days now to my surprise they are telling me that this will take atleast 15 days. I feel cheated. Please help me.

    i ordered one product on 9th dec, but till now( 28/12/2010) I am yet to receive the product, I have called their help line at least 4 times and wasted my time and more money on phone calls talking to their so called customer executives.If they had to tell me they have looted me when I called them first time, then I would have saved money on my next 3 calls.

      Dear Sir,
      I had purchased Godreg Direct Cool Refrigerator for 14,399/- (Excluding Discounts) from Shopping.indiatimes.com on 31 March 2013 (ORDER NUMBER [protected]). Till today, product is not delivered by the company. They given me Shipment Details of Some HCR Courier. Such details can't help in tracking consignment online. Most probably Indiatimes given me fake Shipment Details...

      Till today i have not receipt the product. I complaint to Indiatimes on 17 April 2013, Till today, they failed to reply and also to resolve the matter.

      This is open market cheating. They eated my hard earned money.

      Please help me in getting my product or refund with interest.

      Indiatimes is 100% a Fraud company. When they not delivered item, I complaint them. But after not getting product for a huge time, I complaint in this forum. Now they saying they move my complaint to their desk, when my complaint already on their desk. They are fraud. I did not receive product till date and now they stopped replying to my email...

        I bought a shirt from shopping.indiatimes.com on 24 march.I pid total 624/-(300 by coupon and 324 by debit card).As soon as i bought after 5 min.i canceled the order,and they told me within 7 days they going to refund my money.But after i days i got a mail that my product has delivered.So i called customer care services and solution that i got is not received the shirt and your money will be refunded.I did everything.But after that i got only 70/- rupees refunded into my account.Since now i already called minimum 50 times they just hold my phone and aso not returning my money.

        India Times Shopping — Not refunding of money

        I have booked a Samsung Top Loader Fully Automatic WA82TANEC Washing Machine worth Rs 14480 vide order no.[protected] through 6 months EMI from my credit Card from India Times Shopping on 30/06/09. But on 03..07.09 they have informed me that due to due to non serviceable area, they are cancelling my order and assured me my money back within 6 working days. But till date after 6 or 7 communication they are not refunding my money. More over as the electronic transaction was over during order booking, they have deducted my two months installment. Now they are simply passing the ball from one leg to another and harass me.

          Hello,

          I had ordered a cash on delivery product with Indiatimesshopping. This product was looking brilliant online with high quality images and when actually I received my order it was completely different. Quality was extremely poor and color was completely different. I have been chasing these guys from past 10 days and they have always been informing us for return. They kept on making me fool all the time by explaining that delivery boys will pick up your order and they will be replacing it very soon. This was continuously for 10 days and after 10 days they came back by giving me an excuse that "actual product may vary from the image". I have received product in pink color and actual product was red. Now they are being very rude to me and they have refused to replace this product.

          These guys are big time cheaters. Please help me to resolve this problem.

            Dear sir,

            I, Mr.Soumyadip Ghosh, am being cheated by The Times of India for shopping from their "Reader's offer" column. I placed an telephonic( from my mobile:[protected]) order for "Celestial Homez 3pcs. Lunch Box(B1571583)" with the order number [protected] on 23rd February, 2013. I received a defective product on 1st March, 2013 through COD(cash on delivery) and i paid Rs 498. On opening the article of which i sent across the required snap shots very next day to (through an email to [protected]@indiatimes.com on 2nd March, 2013) their back end support team. They acknowledged and agreed to replace the product and sent ARAMEX courier to my doorstep for collection. Aramex came and collected the article on 16th March, with the docket number [protected] and shipper's account number: 50613679.
            Their back end team confirmed on 21st March that they have received the defective product and gave 5 to 7 working days for processing the request
            for sending the fresh product. Since 27th March i have been calling the two support number [protected] or [protected] and registered a complaint with reference number 716204. Everytime their customer support saying Mr. Sailendra is going to call me within 48 hrs.
            Today(25th April,2013) again i called them and i spoke to Ritika and she told me the same 48 hrs time frame.


            This is a serious scam. In the name of www.shopping.indiatimescom/deals they are sending damaged product and collected money. They again picked up damaged product,and now when they collected both money and product , they are not sending you the actual product to your door step. I want to accuse them for collecting money without delivery, cheating in business and defraud the customer with clear intent of harassment.

            I want justice for this and want full refund of my money.

                  I purchased a product 'Creative Inspire T3130 2.1 Speaker' from 'https://shopping.indiatimes.com' on 10th Feb 2013.
                  Product was damaged and I requested for the refund.
                  According to indiatimes policy, I had to send back the damaged product on my cost. In lieu of courier charges, I was supposed to redeem a maximum of rs. 250 in the form of gift coupon which has to be again used in purchasing another product on indiatimes.

                  Fortunately, I got the money back for the product on 25th March. I'm still waiting for courier charges(rs 148). It's been almost 1 month and each time I try to contact the customer care of indiatimes I'm being told to wait for 24-48 hours.

                    I had oredered for a baby career from indiatimes online shopping. My order number[protected],.Ther are saying your order has been shipped from our end (Shipped Dated - 28.04.11), via (Aramex Courier) (AWB Number - [protected]) and the order will be delivered within 3-4 working days from the date of shipment.

                    It already more than 20 days I did not receive my product and when I contact the courier service they said there is no such order on this oreder number.

                    Then I contact to indiatimes custoemr care to enquiry but they said it will take again another 10 working days.But after waiting 10 working days the issue is not yet resolved. And I said them to cancel my order and refund the money.Still they are not refunding my money also.

                    Please help me to get my mon ey back.

                    I ordered toolkit through India times shopping and the drill machine I received has sparks when started. I am very disappointed as it it was my first order from them. The consumer wing has just given me contact number of seller which is not helpful and same thing happened to one of my relatives with amazon.com and the site had immediately apologized and replaced the product. India times has to learn a lot in terms of consumer satisfaction.

                      My name is Rajesh. I have selected product online (http://shopping.indiatimes.com/) on 18 march 2013.
                      They have sent wrong product to me. I sent back wrong delivered product to them for right product.

                      Now almost one month over they are saying ..."Sir .your complaint ID (752478) is under process .
                      We will sent you your selected product as soon as possible . "

                      But till now i did not get my product.
                      Please take action to get my selected product or my money (product price) + courier charges for returning product.

                      I have jpg file related to mail communication with vendor.

                        I booked a Nokia Lumia 620 from them on 6th April which was supposed to be delivered to me by 16th April, 2013. Current status is that they have not even shipped the product yet. Upon frequent follow ups from them, all they provided me was a case id. Also, told that the case has been escalated. Some case manager called my yesterday and assured me about the shipment of the order by evening but as usual they are not true to their words. The chat support executive Komal Khatri was arrogant & insensitive enough to ask me cancel the order. I think this was height o[censored]nprofessionalism. All I am asking is about the order for which I have already made the payment. They provide no concrete answers and repeat their standard replies. The experience has been very pathetic. You can follow the hashtag #FraudShoppingIndiaTimes on twitter to know who all faced the same problem.

                        I would sincerely request to refrain buy anything from them.

                            Sir/Madam,

                            I had purchased a Sony Xperia Go from India times Shopping (Oder Id [protected]) and specifically selected the color White as a Wedding Anniversary gift for my wife. I called customer service and confirmed that the White variant of Sony Xperia Go will be sent to me within 11 business days and was instructed to make a payment in full for the same. I received a call today from India-times stating that the White variant is not available and that they will be sending a Yellow variant instead. I feel particularly cheated as the White variant was the sole reason that i made the purchase at India-times shopping. When i refused to agree with the replacement, I ve been told that my order will be cancelled and that I will receive my refund in 5-10 business days. Why should I have to wait 5-10 business days when an order is being cancelled due to the supplier's inefficiency to complete the transaction? They should be penalized firstly for not being able to honor the order and secondly be liable to pay damages on the amount paid to them, INR 13,330/-. Since, I ve already made the payment, I'm in no position to make an alternate arrangment of a gift

                              I made an order to buy a T shirt(Yepme Denver Rich Sky Blue Polo T-Shirt (1)) with Indiatimes online shopping website ( Order No. [protected] )
                              and made a payment of Rs.399.00 - RS. 300 By Gift certificate No.SR[protected]V09Q96QOU, and RS. 99.00 By netbanking. The Order was cancelled by the Indiatimes , the reason for cancellation as they told me was the item was out of stock... The amount I paid using netbanking was refunded promptly, But the gift certificate was not replaced. I sent them email on the 24th december 2012. I also made a call to the customer service. I was told that a new gift voucher would be sent to me by email. But up to now I haven't received any from them. I have attached the screen shot of the order details.

                                and in this order there are 2 suborders one is SanDisk pendrive 4GB and the other is Parker Pen.

                                i have received the Parker Pen in time.
                                but they have not shipped the suborder 2 yet[protected].

                                i have called their customer care and got fedup with their answers.
                                every time i call them they say that it will be shipped tommorow.

                                plz help me in this regard.

                                  I have purchase a laptop on 18/03/2013 from shopping.indiatimes.com. At the time of purchase date of delivery was 01/04/2013. But till date I have not got it. Moreover they are not providing any assurance/regarding the date of delivery.They even do not reply to e-mails also. Don't know how such a reputed company can take such a callous approach.                                     I am writing to this complaint against www,indiatimes.com webportal. I ordered one whirlpool refrigrator from this website on dated 24th march 2013 and ordered time delievery date mentioned on my receipt till 10th April 2013. From last week i am regular calling to indiatimes customer care [protected] number for confirm my order status so just they give me only one answer it will deliever soon. Today on 11th April 2013 i called same customer care number so for complaint the product not delievered so their executive said from ourside its shipped now you have any option to wait. Regarding the same issued i try to contacted with this website email services but they have also replied the same . Now at last i am writing here so kindly look into this matter and try to ressolve.

                                    I have ordered 4 soaps as per the scheme advertise on the site, screenshot attached and paid rs 87 for 4 soaps

                                    But to my surprise , i received only 1 soap out of 4, this was really disguisting and unfaithful on their part . I think this site is just for fooling and cheating puropse and make money from it.

                                      This complaint is written with utmost anger and displeasure.
                                      I am in New zealand and wanted to gift my cousin a Xbox 360 kinect bundle console.So i went on-line and orderd the same form Indiatimes shopping on 19th of March 2013 with a value of Rs 26990.My order number is [protected] and was promised delivery in 10 days.The delivery was done on 8th of April 2013 and the delivered product was not what i had orderd and paid for.They had send me an xbox 360 without the kinet bundle and game cds which is worth Rs 15000 only.Now I have been told that the product would be picked up from my house sent back to indiatimes ware house,checked and then a new product would be sent and deliverd to me by 2 May 2013.That is nearly 45 days from my purchase date and this is an estimate if every thing goes smoothly without any hickups.WOW what an experience.Customer service comprise of those people who do not have a clue what they r doing and want to finish the call asap and dont bother abt any commitments they give which r based only on imagination.When i asked about the compensation for the dely in product delivery ,i was offerd a verbal apology in the most rudest fashion.This experince has made a anti indiatimes advocate,preacher,guide and so on for my life and i will make it shure that i would propagate these sentiments to the fullest to every person i know in my family and friend.I assume that this action would hardly have any effect on the cruel intentions of Indiatimes but this is the best that i can do.I have lost all hope of ghetting this product to me in recent time and tinking of ordering the same produt from other provider.But this experince has completly shaken my morale and trust in online shopping in india and would refrain for my life from buying anything online.

                                        Hi, I made a purchase via an online shopping from Indiatimes Shopping, using an HDFC Bank discount voucher (Coupon code - SR210113K1A1Q1QDCMUP7) on 26th of March 2013 for which the order ID is [protected]. The payment was made through Net banking of HDFC Bank. Initially, the people at Indiatimes shopping told me that they have not received the payment(Case ID: 777209), but after 10 days of the purchase, they informed me that the payment has been received. Now, after that a person from Indiatimes called me and told me that the discount coupon I used was invalid, though the coupon was valid till 31st March 2013 and also told me that I will not have to call them again and again, they themselves will call me and update. They gave me a new Case ID(789276) on the 6th of March 2013 and since then, I've not received any update or information from them.
