In brief - I recently bought a Phillips Food Processor from IndiaTimes shopping (Order:[protected]). Prompt delivery within 10 days or so... however, when I opened the pack, I see a June 2007 model shipped !! Raised a complaint at Customer Service (#1027336).. and, later escalated to Operation Head <[protected]@indiatimes.co.in>. They apologized for the inconvenience, gave all (false) promises that the product will be replaced with a new model immediately etc.. Finally, nothing happens !! Stuck with a 7 year old good !!!

Please can you help. Thanks.

    I have placed order for Nokia 105 mobile phone via order [protected] on 30th June 2013. I received parcel from Safex courier on July 5. The parcel looked good condition.After opening the nokia cartoon box seal., I found Inside there was no mobile and charger. Only manual kept inside the box. I got shocked and contacted the indiatimes. They told they will send the product soon and asked to send the photos of the parcel. I have sent the photos on the same day and lodged complaint. My case id is 962064. The expected reolution date of the case was Ju;y 18 2013. But even after 3 months it is not yet resolved. I have enclosed the the screnn shot of case status. The cost of of phone is 850 rupees, but I have spent more than 200 rupeees fo telephone regarding case. My case poition is stell pending.
    They are not interested to solve the case.

      I had ordered a Note 2 Mobile from IndiaTimeshopping website on 20 Aug 2013 with shipping 500 Rs shipping charges. I had to gift this mobile to my father on 25th Aug on his birthday. I called on indiatimes help no. and they said they will try to deliver by 25th Aug. I use to check the status of my order daily. On 24th August I called them and informed them that still the status of the product is showing as verification mode although amount is already deducted from my account. They said we will try to deliver it as soon as possible or else your order will be shipped by 27th Aug max. I checked on 27th and status was still under verification. I called them and they said, they dont have my order in there stock. I asked then y u deducted the amount i[censored] don't have the product in your stock, y u allowed me to buy ? Then they said we will ship by 28 , then on 28 they said 29 and then on 29 they 30th. Now when I checked the status, it finally changed. It is now packed but shipping will happen on 2nd September. Can u imagine, a product readily available in market is delivered after 12 days of booking. I am saying 12 days, assuming that they will deliver this order in 2nd September. I am really frustrated with this and want to initiate a legal case against this unprofessional company, causing mental harassment to me. Please help

        i had ordered some bedsheets from indiatimes shopping.com from mumbai mirror newspaper about a month ago. i received the order through aramex delivery service. but i did not like the product as it did not turn out to be as expected from the advertisement. so i decided to cancel the order. then i got a call from indiatimes saying that they had cancelled my order and i was asked to return the goods to them in some days, their representative came from the courier service and took away the goods, though i have till now not received the refund as they had claimed they would. this is the excerpt of the mail i received from them. they even wrongly mentioned my gender as in the opening line Dear Mr. Nair, Thank you for contacting Indiatimes Shopping E-mail Support with reference to complaint ID – 979303. We regret the inconvenience caused to you regarding this concern. I understand that you have not received refund till yet.             Worst customer service i have seen in my life I lost almost~ Rs 10000 with Indiatimes shopping Last Diwali i have send sweet to several friend and relatives in india and they did not do all delivery and took money and later I cancelled 4 order for which they say refund is in process still 4 orders their refund is not done after 10 months and their costmoer service close they case without resolving.I would advise all indian never use this site for shopping otherwise you will be also victims like me .

            Indiatimes Shopping — non-refund of money -order cancellation

            with reference to 31st March, times of india paper ad (Readers offer), I had called and booked the order over phone referring the Times ad, and concerned executive as confirmed whatever committed items (free items) in the paper shall be received along with ordered item. I have made the payment immediately thru credit card for Rs.2149/- on 31.03.2010.

            On 2nd april, 2010, i have received confirmation of order No.[protected] and order is being processed and confirmed the along with ordered item, i will be getting only tiffin box, but other items (trend watch free for every purchase) is not mentioned in confirmation order. I have immediatley called their customer care over phone and referred the confirmed order and readers offer, he has admitted that i should be getting trendy watch as per but, the payment released on 2nd april, the offer was valid only 31st march, but surprisingly, they have made breach of contract by telling that i don't get the items other than Tiffin box.

            I have called customer care on 4.04.2010 and cancelled my ordered item and told them that breach of contract and not to take customer for granted. I have requested for request no. 203347 dt. 4.4.2010 and he assured that after 5 days i will be getting my money back and same has been confirmed.

            Till date i have not received my money back I have made calls & begging my money back and still I have neither got the money nor getting any confirmation from Times ad.

            Request kindly help in getting money with interest and Penalise the times shopping for doing wrong with consumers. I am the live example.

              I have ordered on shopping.indiatimes.com on[protected] for a mobile note 2 back case (case-mate) brand.


              On 22 or 23 I have searched on their site ie: indiatimes but on that day it is showing that the product is out of stock any their is a option to enter our mail id so that they can inform us when it will available so i have done the same.


              On[protected] around 11 Pm I have received a main from indiatimes they are saying that we would like to inform you this product is now available and you can order the same. On next day morning around 8 am[protected] i have ordered the product and paid full amount through credit card and received payment and order confirmation and maximum delivery time[protected].


              But till[protected] I have not received a single call or mail confirmation from their side after that I tried to call then as well as tried to contact then through mail but all the stupid fraud executives are saying that the maximum delivery time is 12 Aug and I have to wait till 12 Aug. Ok after 12 Aug I call then and mail then but again all fraud executives are saying to wait.


              After my several calls and mails to that bu s they are saying that they can’t ship the material because it is not in stock. You b y r s dint you see your fraud website that till now[protected] Pm the product is still showing it is in stock. (snap shot attached)


              So i ask them to return my money (The card from which I have paid the money to them is blocked for some security reason, just because their is small renovation going on in my house so unfortunately my card is misplaced and I asked HDFC to block it to avoid any misuse) but that bu s are saying they cant return the money to any other option.


              We are running our own industry and we have our own advocate, this is not a question of a small amount this is a question of fraud advertisment, fake mails and they are using crores of rs to simple peoples.


              So dear all I personally suggest you not to order any single order to this fraud company. That is my mistake also because I have to search on net before order to this fake site. You can see oround 1 Crore complaints similar to my complaint cheating customers using their money.

              The ICANN is the controlling authority for domain registrars, if you have been promised something and not delivered by a domain registrar you can always make a complaint with them, that should be the wake up call for your current domain registrar. Always remember to go with a domain registrar with international presence as they are more professional, not that the Indian companies are not professional, just that their staff is sometimes very callous and takes every customer to be a novice.

                I had placed an order for Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562 Mobile Phone from http://shopping.indiatimes.com on dated 29 July 2013 and I made the credit card payment for it.

                On 7th August 2013 as soon as I have received the parcel and opened I was shock because inside the box only accessories were there. I don't know where the mobile phone gone/missed. That's the reason I raised the complaint through their customer care executive. Complaint No.1019052. for further investigation.

                  Indiatimes shopping making me fool for more than two months, first of all when i purchased product it was not dispatched within the TAT, than when i called they told that item has been sold out; but my order was for the same day when their promotional scheme was applicable, so they dispatched product. When i received product it was Damaged inside same day i informed at Indiatimes customer care, they asked to send photos of the damaged product which also i sent. But still my product has not been replaced and all the executives only apologize only. They don't give me contact number of higher officials and each time they ask me to wait for 24-48 hrs and as soon as TAT passed again they ask me to wait. Even i told them that all leading courier provider companies are providing their services at my area but they always says that they can't arrange reverse pick-up, even i gave them option that i will send you item from here if they provide me Gift Coupon against whatever would be the amount charged by courier company, but in that also they are putting condition on me that we can't give you Gift Coupon for more than rs. 250.

                  My money has been used by company for more than 20 days before my product dispatched, than product was found damaged and even raising complaint on May 30, 2013 7:19 PM my product has not been replaced in more than 60 days. They are providing very poor services and they are doing false advertising, it is an mental harassment for customer. please do helpful

                  Indiatimes Shopping — Not replacing damaged product

                  I had ordered a mini refrigetator from inidatimes shopping site. When i recieved the product it was damaged and not working. I requested Indiatimes to replace my order. They asked me to get in touch with their courier partner for picking up the damaged product. I struggled for 5 days and their courier partner did not pick up the product stating that they cannot carry electronic goods. After juggling between the courier company and indiatimes for nearly a week, Indaitimes gave me the contact number of the vendor from whom the product was shipped. The vendor i.e. Alfa Radios is as fraudulent as Indiatimes, its been more than a month now and the vendor just keeps on promising me the replacement, but i am still holding onto the damaged refrigerator.

                    this is with regard to my order no. [protected] with Indiatimes.com for a pair of Skechers shoes size UK 10/US 11 as a birthday gift for my brother. However, when I gifted the package to my brother, he opened it only to discover that it was the wrong size (US 10.5) not UK10/US 11 as i had ordered! The very next day i called the indiatimes customer care where one nishant kumar took my call and when i brought my problem to his notice and he curtly told me that i should have intimated indiatimes within 72 hours and nothing can be done now. i repeatedly requested him to try to accommodate me but he was in no mood to listen or help. I then wrote an email to the operation head at indiatimes explaining the situation to him and asking him to arrange for an exchange of the wrongfully sent item but they too refused saying the 72 hours were over.
                    i would like to repeat that
                    1. This entire problem arose because indiatimes sent me the wrong size, its their fault and not mine and they should fix it at the earliest.
                    2. please consider this a special request since the package was addressed to my brother and was meant as a gift for him so i wanted him to open it on his birthday which was yesterday. I am only asking for an exchange not a refund!
                    i had to buy my brother an alternative gift since this one doesnt fit him, so i spent Rs 5000 on a new pair of shoes and also i have paid indiatimes almost Rs 3000 for a pir of shoes which are the wrong size!

                        I ordered "Vinod 3 Ltr Induction Friendly Pressure Cooker with Lid" from Indiatimesshopping.com with Order ID - [protected].

                        That was broken and I sent that back to indiatimes shopping with Overnite Express Courier (AWB No -[protected]).
                        That was delivered to them on 3-Jun-2013.

                        Then I logged a complaint with them for the refund with case id -893774. But nothing happens and I followed up with them .everytime they say you will get refund in next 48 hrs but those 48 hrs has not come yet.

                        Then they closed this complaint id and opnened a new complaint case id - 974053 (with comment as -- Order has been cancelled for refund but refund in not processed or refund not received by the customer in his account.)


                        I am fed up with followups and want to file a case against them for non refund.

                          I bought a Philips Induction cooktop from Indiatimes and it is not working.
                          Indiatimes insists that I provide a DOA (Dead On Arrival) Letter from Philips Service Center, otherwise they will not replace the piece.
                          Philips Service Center says that the lights are glowing and It is not dead, so DOA will not be provided.
                          I have send the case sheet issued from Philips technician saying the PCB needs to be replaced to indiatimes and Indiatimes says the case sheet is not valid as If I fabricated it, saying that the case sheet did not contain a seal.
                          Philips technician does not carry around a seal with himself, when he is on the field.
                          Philips customer care team now wants me to carry this unit to them for them to see it again, but even if it is not working, they will not issue me a DOA.
                          What is the point !!. I have already lost my money. Now I dont want to take it to philips people just to win their sympathy!!
                          All I am left now is a 'not dead induction cooktop' which does not cook.

                          I paid for a brand new product and by all means, I would expect it work and I am asking indiatimes to give me a working product.
                          Indiatimes pushes it to service center saying 'DOA is required', Service center says it is not dead.

                          i an middle class individual, purchased the above mentioned headset at a MRP 1150, from Reliance digital store, the box of the product mentions RICH BASS, but even my cheap Rs.100 headphones give way better Bass, and the Philips fails to deliver even the minimal BASS... i have the orignal box and the bill, either the product is faulty or the Reliance digital store has some scam upto its sleve.........

                          Order a perfume against order #[protected] on the 14th Nov - Recvd a wrong product thru courier on the 20th Nov - Have been chasing Indiatimes for replacment since then - Very pathetic attitude & commitment on behalf of the company - Already made 4 telecon complaints, 1 sms complaint & 1 on the email.
                          The whole process is anyway so long to get a replacment & they have already taken 18 days for the STEP 1 - It seems they will take another month to complete this whole cycle.

                          i have ordered for a CD of Need for Speed ( a xbox game CD) through indiatimes.com i ordered that in march-2012 and received it in approx 25 days at my address. ( Indiatimes order No: - 300​1016125)

                              Case no. - 955940 - Case registered withing 24 hours of receiving defective product. Its is defective has been confirmed by HCL service center as well.

                              Brief issue details -
                              1. I was delivered DEFECTIVE item (HCL ME1 tablet with iProf)
                              2. I registered complaint withing 24 hours of receiving this defective item.
                              3. I was told to visit HCL service center, which lead to my 5000+ expenses (leave + fuel) as Indiatimes executive told me, that refund will be done only after receiving DOA from HCL center.
                              4. HCL service center admitted that its defective item, gave it in writing, which was scanned and shared with Indiatimes shopping. I even arranged a call from HCL service center and Indiatimes call center executive.
                              5. Now HCL service center is not ready to issue DOA (as per their changed process)
                              6. India times executive tells me that it is my right and I should get it from HCL service center.
                              7. Till now that defective item is with me and I have not got any refund till now.
                              8. HCL service center tried to resolve issue by re-installing software, which did not resolve the issue, But in the process they have un-installed iPROF software as well.

                              Indiatimes Shopping — wrong , defective and incomplete delivery

                              I have booked a 4 in 1 treadmill from www.shopping.indiatimes.com on 29 Nov 2009. on the site they promise the delivery within 8 days after order. They have provied me the wrong information on their website regarding delivery. Finally we got the delivery on 17 dec 2009 after many complaints on customer care by phone and by mail but in broken condition. Half part of the order is still undelivered. I am complaining again and again to indiatimes shopping through phone and by mail . everytime they are committing the response within 24 hour but still there is no response and now they are saying that I have to contact with the manufecturer directly.

                                India times shopping fraud — Cheating case

                                Recently I order one book from Indiatimes shopping and made payment thru credit card, I was told that book will reach in 15 days.

                                However to my shock I found that instaed of returning my money back, they gave me gif voucher and told me that I can utilize this gift voucehr to purchase someother product.This was shocking from company like INDIATimes shopping.

                                If a consumer is asking for shroud for dead man and he paid for that, India times will say we donot have stock of shroud but we will not return ur money back instead u prucahse oxygen cylinder for dead man.

                                ITS really shame.
                                Hi, I ordered a product through India times ...I received a bluetooth headset which does not work.. I tried calling customer care and found the the number does not exists ( Karnataka [protected] )... Please dont get cheated.

                                I had placed an odder with indiatimes my oder No[protected] which was never dileverd after repeted mails and phone calls my money was retrund to my account i think these pepole are cheating and using the money of public free of intrest they dont have any thing to sell they have just advertised so you get tempted and pay them money they use the money and you chase them they say they are investegating and one fine day they retrun the money depend how you are taking action is there any way to save the public from such online shoping companys
                                This happened with me 3 times. They persuaded me to buy their book club membership. After that I ordered for books for 3 times. And every time each book was out of stock. They are giving me Gift Certificates and not returning my money.

                                India Times Shopping — Cheating by providing wrong information

                                I have raised an order :[protected] and received the product. After placing the order one of the India times shopping executive called me and offered me for a member ship card, with which I will get discount on India times product and Rs:500/-- discount coupon,which I can use in Big Bazaar shopping mall and one more supermarket(I think Vishal super market ) . and said there is no other hidden condition. so I provided the credit card details and they deducted Rs 525/,, from my account.
                                And told me like,he hill send the coupon in the same shipment what I have order[protected].

                                But till now I did n't received the Rs.500/-- coupon and When I called customer care helpline number their executive told that there is no coupon like that in this offer.

                                Hey it happened with me also. But my case is little better. The executive called me and told that they are giving indiatimes membership to there existing customers and they will get upto 40% discount on indiatimes shopping and for membership a subscription fees of Rs 525 will be charged and I will also get a Gift voucher redeemable at Vishal, big bazar and indiatimes + 1 gift worth Rs. 125. So I place a order for the membership with them.

                                When I received the order from Indiatimes I was shocked. It turned out the the membership was a "book club membership" and will get discounts only on books and also received a B grade movie CD with it. and there was no Gift voucher"

                                I called indiatimes asking for the gift voucher. They said it would me Emailed to you. Even my continuous asking about the voucher and usual replies from them telling the server is down the server is doen from indiatimes it took them 4 months to get the voucher and they said it will only be redeemable at indiatimes shopping.

                                Dear Sai Chand Uppala I think you should call there call centre numbers and tell them that you ordered a "Book club membership" because my case is also same like yours and if you are lucky you might get a Gift Certificate from them...
                                I agree !! I also received a call 'but i m not going to accept their cousrier now..as you all have make awared me about the cheating of india shopping ..thanks all..

                                My case is not resolved actually. You just turned it to another case which is still going on. Check your records properly if you are having them!!!...

                                Not Me alone!!... All here are complaining same !!!.. This is the tagline for indiatimes..

                                "Once you give money to indiatimes, You will never get it back!!... You will never get the thing of your choice and your money will always bring you worthless thing!!...".

                                You gave gift coupons not full refund!!!... & I hardly found the thing worth buying from indiatimes using gift coupons. When I bought something again they said it is out of stock!!!.. I again trapped in the process!!...

                                Believe me, Indiatimes is totally crap!!!... There is no shop actually it's cheating business only!!!... Not only me, Every voice in the review is telling the same!!...

                                Buy from your local market but don't go for Indiatimes!!!... Even for Indiatimes employee, just leave this cheating company. It will not give you any good future!!...

                                  I have requested indiatimes team to deliver this order urgently and this is the first time i am asking for the support. I follow up with the team on daily basis but there is no positive revert from their end.

                                  I am requesting if you can help in urgent delivery of this order as i need to go abroad becuase of some emergency as someone in my family is not well and i am just stucked here because of this order. I would be greatful if this order can be delivered today itself so that i can board my flight tomorrow. In case you cannot help please escalate my case to the concerned team.

                                    I placed the order for double bedsheet in indiatimes shopping, Order ID [protected].. I received the product with damaged pieces since then i am trying to reach indiatime for refund & return of the product. I am unsuccessful in getting this issue resolved thanks to bad service by Indiatimes customer service. They were also hostile in their response to resolve my issue. It look they were intent to do this business of cheating the customer by giving damaged product & make customer run around untill he quits. This is their modus of operndi in making the money.

                                      The item (Philips mobile E122 black) supplied was different from the item (Red colour) advertised and the quality also not satisfactory. hence I requested replacement of model or refund of amount. But I was told that only black models are available. And no replacement or refund was allowed.

                                        I've ordered Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 on 2Jun using my credit Card, but it was not delivered to me( it should reach on or before 10th Jun) so i've Cancelled my order due to NON DELIVERY on 25th Jun, but as of now i've not received my Money back to credit card company, nearly 5 times i contacted shopping.indiatimes.com but they always saying we are working on compliant, but i've not get money back, my credit card bill is generated, i need to Pay the amount to card,even though i've not received that product, this is most worst service from shopping.indiatimes.com , here after i wouldn't recommend this company to friends and relative
