I has been already talk with anupama ( bagittoday assistant ) from last 14-55 day's against this matter by no - [protected] . i talked with senior executive of yatra.com through anupama ( bagittoday executive ). It says me that please agree all term and conditions . I am making plan for 9 feb 2013 , i had been booked my bus ticket for this date for manali ,This all plane has been conseren with yatra.com senior executive , it was say to me purchase this voucher your date will be confirmed . But now When I am making payment 499 & filling form Then that time manali is not selecting on date 9 feb 2013 . plzzz solved this problem .

    I was totally conned by around 20-30 calls to buy a voucher for a holiday through this http://www.bagittoday.com/faces/bcode/4751/index.jsp

    The customer care promised me list of 8 hotels saying that I can use the voucher against this. When I kept on asking him whether can he provide any document which provides all these hotels he said that that will be mailed after I make the payment.
    I refused initially but around 20-30 calls were made from them convincing me to make the payment. After I made the payment I got the booking id. Now when the executive called up for confirming she said that only 2 hotels are covered, which are the cheapest accomodation available and other 8 hotels are not covered.
    Whenever I call up their customer care they give a different std number and say that they are not responsible.
    After calling the alternate number for 4 times 15minutes each the call gets cut after playing music for the entire duration.
    This is the biggest scam where they are making money through the deal and the phone calls.

    Can somebody guide me how can I sue this company?

      Recently i ordered a product(shoes & Sunglass) in Bagittoday.But the product was not delevired on time .When i contacted the customer care over phone n mail ,they said that the product was out-of-stock and would be delivered once stock arrives.But even after a month they never delivere or gave any excuse response also.Then i cancelled the product and asked for refund.they assured that the amount would be refunded but even after a month never refunded nor replied about their status still now.

        I was contacted on my cell no by bagit today telling me that i had won two free gift by india today group as a customer of bagit today. Tjey told me that thes free gift consists a dell laptop and a black berry mobile and i can only retain them if i buy 3 tour packages of Rs 7000 each. I booked these packages but neither have I recieved the gifts nor the package. There helpdesk numbers have changed and ther are also not replying to my mails. Please help me getting my money back(Rs 21000) .

        Bagittoday (India Today Group) — Payment taken by False/Half Information

        I got a call from Mt Vineet of Bag It Today(India Today Grp) that I will get 20000 worth diamond if puchase a camcod by paying 11399(including insurance and courier charges)Then I said yes and he trasnferred the call to Mr Raj kumar and he asked me to pay 11399 thru credit card.After the payment he told me to pay another 899 and he informed I will get diamond woth 8500. but i said it was not informed so you please check the call recordings.The he said sorry and told after discussing his seniros that I will get 20000 worth diamond bt i have to pay another 3694.I refused again and again the he told you can get back yuor money after completing your full payment and two call will be come to you.He asked me to say yes to 1st call and no to 2nd.I paid the 2nd amount .Afetr dat 1st call came bot 2nd call didnt came.Then I complained to cancel my order.after 2/3 day Mr Prasant call me and told sorry and previous order has been cancelled.He told me now u can get diamond worth 120000 and other reebok offers i[censored] pay 14000.He told the order cost is 28000 but due to previous mis communication i will give it only on 14000.I paid 14000 thru credit card and he said this transaction is cancelled again u make paymet of 14000.I thought he is telling truth and i pid 14000 but after checking my credit card i found 28000 has been debited.then I refused to accept their orders from courier but they are not paying back my total amount(11399+3694+14000+14000).Another thing I asked Mr Prsant that I will take the 2nd order if your diamonds are salebale in Market.He said yes but wrongly 20000 worth diamond came by courier I thought its the 2nd order and I received it.I show those diamond in all branded shops but no one wants to pay a single penny against these diamonds.

        Today another person Mr Gaurav called and telling me that generate OPT no for 35000 so that i can get back my whole amount bt I have nt done dis.He aid without this u cant get back the money.

        Please help me.

        I got a call from sales and promotion department of BagitToday. He told me that I was selected among the 5 lucky customers and if I will buy Rs 15, 999 Gift hamper from them, I will get this amount in 7 days refunded, I was bye that offer. after first payment they again asked me to pay an amount of Rs 29, 999 for LCD tv and it?s holding amount it will refund in your account in 24 to 45 days. if I fail to pay, then they will not process my first payment (ie. Of 15, 999) and I will not be given any benefit and I was forced to pay Second payment of Rs 29, 999 again. I placed an order on[protected] on 3:00pm and I was check revives of bag it today and After 2 hour I call bag it today call center & cancelled my orders and requested for refund. But they said as per our company rules it not refund it will convert in bag it today points. After that I was got call from conformation department & he was conforming my address & tell me your product will . But I want to cancel this order & my money wail refunded. What I can do for it ..

          I have booked a mobile through BAG IT TODAY, even though I have paid the money, even after months of paying the full amount the company( BAG IT TODAY) failed to deliver the goods. The worst was their customer care, I might have spent atleast some thousands of rupees on STD calls to their Delhi office. Now finally I have given up. I request all you people to stay away from this CHEATERS, BAG IT TODAY is full of cheaters, please never buy from them. Its better we go to our nearest shop and buy the things of our chice. I have to go through all the suffering. Please never never never never guy anything from GAG IT TODAY, they are cheeeeters.

            I have received an email from indiatodaybookclub.co.in tomy mail id stating I have been selected to receive `Samsung' products worth Rs2,20,296/- and I need to pay 10% of the cost towards tax, handling charges etc. Further I have got telephone calls from No [protected] regarding the same giving details about the products and clarifying the details of the terms & conditions.             I have paid Rs.2249/- by Credit Card on[protected] for India Today's Offer For Reebok Shoes & Air Tickets, instead I got Devotional Bhajan's Audio CDs for Rs.100/- each, that is not worth as I am working in Rhythm House, Asia's No.1 grand CD shop I know the value of CD's very well.
            I have been cheated by not sending Reebok Shoes & Air Tickets along with the CD's as Promised by you.

              I received a call from bagittoday stating that I've been chosen as a winner for a promotional offer which includes anaira diamonds with Rs.50000 + other stuffs only for Rs.26999/-. The executive committed me that I can resell these diamonds and I'LL get the exact worth of that. Also, I can convert my purchase to emi as he will provide the details to my bank for the same of r.1800 for 12 months.And also that there is a moneyback guarantee for this offer, in case I dont get the full value of those diamonds. Looking at the options, I chose to go for this offer and I purchased it for rs.26999/-

              And, when I spoke to their customer care, they informed me that there is no emi option available. Also, I cannot sell the diamonds in the market as they are not worth Rs.50000 as said by bagittoday. I asked to cancel my order, but executive had refused to do so.

              I returned several mails on [protected]@bagittoday.com, [protected]@bagittoday.com, [protected]@bagittoday.com, But i didnt received any reply.

              Due to some personal emergency, I went out of town for a month, the delivery was taken by my dad and when I returned back, i saw the stuff and I called again to customer care, i simply told that we have delivered the order and nothing can be cancelled.

              This is sheer cheating and fraudulent activities carried out by this company to lure consumers in a fake offer.

              I have checked the value with local diamond vendors, as per them diamonds worth not more than Rs 5000/-

              I also searched the internet for this type of fraud and have found that there are several incidents lodged by other victims on consumercourt.In and econsumercomplaints.Com

              I think strict action should be taken against such a fraud company and it should be shut down completely so that it doesn't loot more consumers.

              Now, I want my money back


              Please do the needful to stop such fraudulent activities of misinformation and cheating.

              Bag it Today (India Today) — Delay in the processing

              I ordered for a travel voucher from the above mentioned group and after receiving the voucher i filled the form and have sent it but there is no reply from them. According to there booklet they are suppose to call within 3 days but when they didn't call I had to call them and ask them and they replied saying that the booking is under process. I have been calling them since more than 15 days and receiving the same reply. Few of my friends and relatives have booked for the voucher and are facing similar problem. I even registered a complaint regarding this on their site but they haven't reply yet. Kindly help regarding this matter.

                A call was received[protected] from mr sachin who introduced himself as a sales manager from bagittoday. He informed me that since I have bought few items in the past from bagitoday, I won a dell laptop and a blackberry phone and what I have to do it just pay rs.12000. This I will also get two holiday vouchers each for 4 days & 5 nights which I can use it anytime in a year. He also informed me to go through the website of bagittoday.Com which shows the winners. He guided me to log the details of my name, address, etc in a page in their website. Since the payment option is only for rs.6000/- He asked me to do twice as this is the process. As I am convinced, I DID as per his instructions. He instructed me to confirm when a confirmatory call is received and not to mention about the free gift as this is from a marketing department and within 7 days, the free gifts will be delivered. I confirmed the confirmatory call as all the questions/Information is just about the holiday package. Since I have not received the free gifts, I tried calling him several times and still he promised to deliver. After about a month, no response from him nor received the gift nor he picked the calls. I sent several emails to [protected]@bagittoday.Com but they neither committed about the staff mr. Sachin & his telephone number nor agreed to either refund the money or send the gifts. Inspite of several emails, I have not got any positive response. Now I tried to book the holidays as per their dates, that website is not working..

                please some one help me in getting back my hard earned money.

                  Sub:- Compliant with respect to fraudulent means adopted to by Bag It today and withdrawing a sum of Rs.1,69,494/= from two of my Credit Cards.


                  Dear Sir,

                  I am Mr. D. Jagannath, aged about 72 years,residing at Beach Road, Chennai. I have been cheated to the tune of Rs. 1,69,494/- while purchasing an item worth Rs.1,399/- by ‘Bag IT Today’, an e-commerce website run by India Today magazine. I narrate below the sequence of events that have resulted in a loss to me and I request you to help me recover the said amounts.

                  I saw an advertisement in the “India Today” magazine during Diwali, for the sale of Table and Floor Lamps at discounted prices. There was a Terracotta Table Lamp which I liked, but was sold out. I enquired as to if the lamp gets damaged in transit , what is the procedure, I was told that they will have the damaged item taken back and replace with a fresh item. I placed an order for the purchase of a “Wooden Floor Lamp” for Rs.1,399/- on the web site of “Bag IT Today” on the 7th of Nov ’12, and paid for it with my Visa Credit Card issued by HDFC Bank, through the e-commerce website of ‘Bag IT Today’. The purchase and payment receipt are attached in Annexure 1.

                  I had given my Address in Bangalore for delivery, where I was going there for about 12 days. I told them that I would be in Bangalore from the 17th of Nov till the 29th of Nov, and had requested that the lamp to be delivered there after the 17th Nov. I had provided them with my Bangalore cell phone number ([protected]) and my Chennai cell phone number ([protected]). I got a call from Bag It Today’s Delhi office on Saturday the 17th of Nov in the evening (on my Chennai cell phone number) to inform me that the Lamp had reached Bangalore. I was asked to contact “Quantium Couriers” in Bangalore on Monday the 19th of Nov, and when I did that, they asked me to call their delivery centre person, Mr.Govindaraj. When I called Mr. Govindaraj on the 19th Nov, he told me that he would have the same delivered between 2pm and 6pm. Since the delivery did not take place in this time, I called him the next day, he told that he was sorry he could not come as it was late, but would deliver in the evening. There was no sign of any one. I called him once again on the 20th Nov and was told that the parcel was sent back to Delhi on the 17th November itself, as they had tried to contact me on the 16th of Nov and there was no response, and I should contact Bag It Delhi for re-dispatch. When I called Delhi Office I was told that the parcel had not reached them and that I should contact after a few days. I called them on the 22nd of Nov and was told that the Lamp will be in Bangalore in 2 days. On the 25th of Nov I called and was told that the Lamp was still in Delhi. I told them that I was going back to Chennai my place of permanent residence on the 29th of Nov and should deliver it there. I gave them the Chennai Address and my cell phone number ([protected]).

                  I got an E-mail from ‘Bag It Today’ on the 1st of Dec, to say that the Lamp has been sent to Chennai. Their local courier delivered the lamp on the 5th of Dec. On opening the parcel, I found that the item was badly damaged. I immediately called the courier company who delivered the Lamp to me and informed of the damaged lamp, they asked me to call Bag It Today and it will be replaced. Accordingly I called Bag It Today on the 6th of Dec and complained about this. Mr. Rahul of the Company who attended to my call, registered my complaint and allotted a complaint number 1026183, and told me that somebody will contact me in 2 to 7 days. I confirmed my Chennai residential address and my cell phone number as [protected]. I left for Kerala on the 8th of Dec leaving the parcel for return with the House Keeper. I contacted ‘Bag IT Today’ again on the 13th of Dec and was told by a Mr.Rahul that they were not able to reach me on my Mobile, so again a fresh complaint was registered and a new compliant number 1034032 was allotted.

                  I received a phone call from Bag It Today on the of 14th Dec to say that they will instruct their local Courier company to have the Lamp picked up and I should provide the Invoice of purchase and a covering letter. The Lamp has been packed in its original packing and the Invoice and covering letter attached and is still waiting for collection. I contacted ‘Bag IT Today’ on the 17th of Dec and was told by one Mr. Bhupinder that my complaint was being processed and that since the complaint was registered on the 13th of Dec there was still time.

                  On the 17th of Dec I got a call on my Chennai cell phone number around 5.30 PM from a Mr.Dinesh Sharma and claimed to be from the Head Office of ‘Bag IT Today’. Since I was driving he was asked to call back. He called back around 6.15 pm , He said that I am one of 5 persons selected for special discounts and free gifts and various offers , and offered a Platinum Membership and started telling me all the advantages and special offers, like 80% discount on all future purchases form ‘Bag IT Today’ and Diamonds worth Rs1,50,000/= for about Rs.30,000/= . I told him that I was not interested, as I am retired person and cannot afford this. I was so stressed out because of all the phone calls and E-mails I was sending regarding my Lamp, and was never permitted to speak to the Manager or Supervisor. So when Mr.Dinesh Sharma said that he was from the Head Office, I told him that I am having a problem with the Lamp, for which he said he would check and call back after 5 minutes. He promptly did, so I thought he was genuinely going to help me. He asked me for my address and I gave him my Chennai address, he said the address registered in the Lamp Order was Bangalore address . He asked for my address and cell phone number for verification I gave him my Chennai address and my cell phone number as [protected], and this I told him that I have mentioned in all my e-mails and to every person I had called and spoken to. For verification of my address and cell phone number, he asked me as to how I paid for the Lamp, and I said with my Credit Card, he asked me which type it was and in his conversation with me due to my vulnerable situation extracted my HDFC Credit Card Number including the CVV number, then it appears he has generated a ‘one time password’, which was sent to me by SMS and he asked me to read it out, I did this without a second thought. Instead of helping me solve the problem of the damaged lamp that I purchased, I realized to my shock and horror that this person has started charging my card huge sums of money without my authorization and I started getting SMS messages from the Bank on the withdrawals of Rs.29,999/- at 18:21:24hrs Rs.17,799/= at 18:23:56hrs and Rs.29,999/= at 18:26:4hrs. I called him and asked him why he did this, he said that since my Lamp problem was solved I would buy this, I categorically told him that I did not want any of the items. He said okay I will get it cancelled, but told me that first I will have to accept the items and then he will get the cancellation. Accordingly he had some some lady who wanted to know if I accepted the offer and after I did as Mr. Dinesh Sharma had advised, he called and said that he has the file with him and will get the cancellation department call me and I should tell them that I cannot afford this large sum of money. Immediately, I got a call from the cancellation department and they wanted to know why I was cancelling this to which I informed them that I could not afford it and they then said okay and promised to return the entire amount of money charged to my credit card within 12 days to 1 month. For my own safety, I called HDFC Bank’s Credit Card division and had the said credit card cancelled and asked them if they could stop payment but they said that as I had given the Card Details and also the one time Password it was not possible to stop payment, but I should request the merchant to return the money.

                  My problem did not stop here. On the 18th of Dec I got a call from Ms. Jyothika from the Accounts Dept of ‘Bag IT Today’ Delhi, and told me that since I had cancelled the credit card that I had used before they will not be able to revert the money and asked if I have any other credit card. I told her that I should not be divulging that information but she said that she was from the accounts department and it is okay, and she will reverse all the amounts deducted so far.

                  Therefore, I gave her the number and CVV number of my other credit card again. Instead of reversing the previous amounts, she has now charged this credit card in the pretext of generating a purchase ID for me and with drew funds of Rs.72,998/= at 19:01:12hrs and Rs.18,699/= at 19:11:08 hrs. She told me that the same procedure will be adopted for cancellation, and made me go through the acceptance and cancellation procedure. However, I have not received any reversal of credits in any of my cards.

                  I realized the gravity of the whole situation when I received E mail from Bag it Today about the various orders and SMS on the 20th of Dec . I have now cancelled my 2nd Credit card also and then have called ‘Bag It Today’ and was asked to send an e-mail about stop supply. I sent a mail and told them that I was tricked into the whole purchase and that they should cancel all the orders immediately. I once again called at 12.30pm to check if any action been taken and I was told by Mr.Rahul that he will generate a complaint number for each order with a remark that I did not want due to a dispute, he told me that all conversations are recorded and they will investigate and reply in about a week. He also told me that 2 or 3 of the items are already with the courier for packing and dispatch, I requested him to get it stopped, he said he cannot he can only generate the complaint I also told that I will not accept any parcel sent by Bag It Toady. I have not received any reply to date.

                  I have been cheated by ‘Bag It Today’ and they have stolen Rs.1,69,494/= from my credit card by using fraudulent methods and I request you to take immediate criminal action against the culprits and help me recover my hard earned money.

                      I have subscribed for INDIA TODAY AT 20% OFF PLUS MOBILE PHONE WORTH RS.3800/- but I am sorry to say that I have not received my mobile (Free Gift) as offered by the company on subscribing for two years. But I am sorry ti say that till date i have not received the same inspite of the fact that every time I am being assured by officials of the company that it will reach you with in 5-6 days.

                      My membership no is 46 ITE 1926807 CPS. Ist issue of ITE was received by me on 30.07.2012 now almost 5 months have passed till date I am expecting my free gift i.e I5 mobile phone. It is strange that such a renowned group is not taking care of its customers specially who are giving advance money for the timely receipt of magzines.


                      Now through this mail, I request you to look into the matter and instruct the company for sending my mobile set as said in the scheme at the time of booking of magzine failing which I will have to move to consumer court.

Regarding this, not less than 20/25 mails have been sent to the company but without result.                       I subscribed for India Today weekly magazine for one year through net banking on the web site of INDIA TODAY Magazine by making a payment of Rs 1300/-(Rupees Thirteen Hundred Only) from my
                      ICICI Bank Account on 27th Sept,2010. Since then I have not received even a single issue of INDIA TODAY despite my repeated complaints to the Customer care service.
                      I have sent numerous E Mails to the customer care service at
                      [protected]@intoday.com with copies to [protected]@intoday.com but the problem
                      remains unresolved. I have also complained at 24x7wecare of the
                      magazine but to no avail so far.
                      The company should arrange for the delivery of the magazines
                      Regularly immediately and extend my subscription accordingly.

                        Dear sir,
                        on 30/12/2012, I received phone call from number +[protected] on my mobile number [protected] at 15.43 hrs claiming that it is a call from 'M/S bag it today'. I was told that, I have been selected lucky customer, I have to pay only rs 2500 and I will get gift of worth rupees more than one lakh from 'bag it today. Then from phone they took my credit card password stating that they will do transaction worth rupees 2500 for the same. But they DID transaction of rupees 54998 without intimating me. When I got the credit card transaction message on mobile, I was stunned. After few minutes, I got another call from the same number. I told the 'bag it today' person that you have cheated me. Then they told me that only the amount transacted has been blocked and not claimed. Only amount 2500 will be claimed and rest will be refunded as pronished. I insisted to refund my money transacted. Then,I was told that for refund also, you have to again give the credit catd one time password once again. I refused to give the one time password. Then they told me that for refund also, you have to do the reverse transaction and so need to follow their instructions. I DID the same thinking that the second is a transaction for reversal of money deducted in the first transaction. But the second transaction was also fraud. A second transaction was made of rs 49998 for debit. I was unable to think what to do.Immediately, I got call from same number and I was told by 'bag it today' person that there is no point of any worry. You will receive the entire amount back deducting 2500/ Within next 48 hours. I had then no option but to follow them. They also told me that, you will receive verification calls now. You must not mention all these during verification, otherwise I will have to pay 30% extra as various charges, and the matter will become complicated. So, during verification calls also, I didnot mention any thin what wrong had happened.
                        Today, I enquired with the bank and came to know that the amound transacted is not blocked but claimed. Sir, I have been cheated by M/S bag it today. They have claimed rs 104996 against rs 2500 what they had promished for the order transaction. Sir, due to this incident, I am very disturbed. I am in deep pain due to this and cannot explain in words.

                        I request you sir to do the needful, so that, I can get my entire money back.

                          I shall be much grateful if you could kindly enquire this matter and do the needful as the money was collected there at Noida.
                          I would like to take the issue to consumer court after hearing from you. However a case for cheating may have to registered to ensure that individuals like me are not cheated by such criminals.

                            On 23rd February 2012 I received a call from Mr.Rohan Singh introduced as executive from bag it today stating that since I have been a regular customer of bag it today and there is scheme of Travel package of 4N5D for one years and it cost Rs.5998 and I can redeem during entire years. I trusted him and purchased Package. Also I paid Rs. 450 for booking confirmation as per their scheme. During that time he also informed that If I will promote more people there is gift scheme on promotion on more people. Then I recommended my friends Amish Patel and Paresh Shah. And I booked the package on these two name. I also sent a number persom list and from that Nirav Shah, Vidit Shah, Pruthvish Patel booked the same package. Rohan told that now you are elegible for free gift. But still I have not received any gift. I did long follow-up-Phone calls, email but lastly frusted to get free gift.
                            Now I decided to travel somewhere to utilize the scheme and sent the filled form with scanned copy of me as well Paresh Shah and Amish Patel to [protected]@affordablesalespromotions.com and [protected]@affordablesalespromotions.com on 2nd November 2012. Then I did long follow up to book my holiday package for any three different location any date starting 1st Feb 2013 to 4th Feb 2013 for Silvassa, Udaipur and Jodhapur. I also contacted many times to their sales executive on phone but they said their server is down or some problem is there in system and not response my request.
                            Now I am frusted and asking to get refund of all my Money which I transferred to Bag It Today for above three booking.
                            Pl. help to get refund as I an now no more trust on Bag It Today or Book my holiday as they are cheater and taking long time for giving answer and mental harassment.

I am in receipt of Diamond and as promised by Bag IT Today that a certificate in regard of originality of Diamond would also be provided but regret to say no certificate received from Bag IT Today. I gone to various reputed Jwellers in Haridwar Like Tanishque, Geetanjali, PC Jwellers to check the quality of Diamiond whether it is original or not. All Jwellers told that this is very poor quality Diamond and its cost maximum up to Rs. 1000.00. The Diamond is from Myra/ Anaira Jewels India Pvt. Ltd..                                 I have been misguided and defrauded by the persons Siddarth and Nikitha ([protected]/115) of your website (bagittoday.com). I'm totally agitated by this... playing with credit card of customers like this…,

                                Do go though the detailed explanation that I furnish you below:-

                                On 21 Dec 2012 morning at around 11 o clock I received a call from bagittoday staff Mr. Siddarth saying that he would refund credit of 400 rs into my credit card, for 398 credit points which I have lost due to the failure of previous transaction which I made in your website. He then added telling that you are selected as one of the luckiest customer to get 80k thousand value products without paying a single penny. He asked me for the credit card details so as to refund 400 rs. I did not agree to give my credit card details but then he started saying that this call is from genuine bagittoday and trapped me, to enhance the belief in his words, saying all my details of email ID, phone no, address which I have given previously on bagittoday website. I suspected him and refused to provide him OTP password which was given by SBI credit card. Then he asked for my debit card details with ATM pin no, so I became conscious and refused for any transaction to be done. Later after a minute or so, I received couple of messages from SBI CC mentioning about the two fraud transactions, followed by a alert mentioning the change of my online SBI Credit card password. How can some one change my password without my notice or information is been puzzled by me. I was totally blank of what happened to me! When he called me back I blasted him of these transactions for which he replied saying that these transactions were not actually done and were being made only for record purpose and the amount will be credited back within 72 hours. The transactions were each of 29,999 & 17,799 rs with order no’s [protected] & [protected] (complaint Nos:- 1044205 & 1044202) . I did not accept this, so he said to talk to his head Nikitha (claimed to be from cancellation department) who was fraud no 2, misleading me for the second time in this way --- she told that she has a cancellation form on her desk and verification number will help me to process for my refund of full amount quickly within 48 hours.Siddarth intervened and frightened me saying that it will cost me 33% of the fraudulent purchase that they have done, if I don’t follow their instructions-
                                1.They asked me to confirm the order (being fraudulently done on my name). They told me that I will receive two calls out of which one is verification call (call one according to Nikitha)
                                2. The second is cancellation call. (Call two according to Nikitha)

                                And asked to confirm the order in the first call, which I did it –even here, initially I told yes to all that the executive told me, but then when she told me that it cant be cancelled again, I BRIEFED HER ABOUT THE FRAUDLENT TRANSACTIONS HAPPENED WITH MY CREDIT CARD, AND ASKED HER IF I CAN GET FULL REFUND IF I CANCEL THE TWO ORDERS NOW, BUT SHE SAID SHE DON’T KNOW?, SHE ALSO HIDED THE INFORMATION FROM ME (CUSTOMER). HOW CAN STAFF CAN HIDE INFORMATION WITH CUSTOMER?
                                So again I said yes doubtfully!!

                                AGAIN, TILL THE VERFICATION CALL IS DONE, I GOT AROUND ~18 CALLS FROM THESE GUYS, AND THEN NONE!

                                Nikitha promised me to follow up on this but then when it came to my friend’s knowledge they educated me on the frauds that had happened to me twice. Immediately I called customer care of bagittoday and the realized that I was completely cheated, so then lodged a complaint against these two fraudulent transactions, complaint no’s – 1044202 & 1044205 on the same day (21 Dec 2012)

                                Let me know if you need any further information, anticipating revert immediately. Please don’t kill the customer’s credibility by placing wrong staff that were fed to play mischief or defraud the customers!

                                Credit Card — my password is changed

                                sir my credit card password is suddenly changed i do my last transaction before a week . i used my my old password . then today when i used my my credit card it indicates that the typed password is incorrect.

                                Hi, I'm Vinay and update to this post is that I got back my money, after almost 1 month of daily followup!

                                I have raised fraudulent transaction complaint with SBI CC support because of whom I was able to get back my money back soon. Trust me! it was an night mare and was not easy with bagittoday to get my money back

                                Special thanks to SBI CC support who advocated for me with Bagittoday and made this possible and I'm sure it would have been seriously tuff without them!

                                From that day, I have never ever even visited bagittoday.com

                                  I am santhakumar.

                                  On the 23rd November, 2012, I was called by one Mr Sachin [protected] (claiming to be the manager) of india today group - bag it today, who had informed me that I am one among 10 people all across country, chosen lot by India Today Group - Bag it Today for the gift of laptop Dell inspiron -15 r and a Mobile phone - Black Berry 9900. This was under the condition that I place two orders in booking of affordable holidays 4 nights & 5 days under scheme of arrangement by making a payment of rs 5998/- Each for the two orders, totaling to an amount of rs 11,996/-. I, as per the instruction of mr sachin swiped my credit card and booked under order ID [protected] & [protected].

                                  On the 26th november, I was called by Sachin at about 10.25 am who had connected the call to the gift department to one ms Siphali (name as I could make it out over mobile) who had confirmed that the gifts would be dispatched within 15 days time after warranty formalities are completed for the gifts. Thereafter there were several calls I made in this regard as there was no mailer, wherein I was assured of the gifts.

                                  On 17th december, 2012 by about 12,20 pm I contacted Mr sachin at +91 [protected] who had assured to get back around 5.00 pm that evening and further informed that the gifts have been processed for delivery which will be confirmed in the evening by his call. So far I have not received any confirmation on the said assured gifts.

                                  I never had any iota of suspicion as the call was from an authenticated group none less than india today. Now my calls to people in the group are being cold shouldered which sets me to a position that I have been set under a trap of deception, fraud, financial loss.

                                  Now I want my hard earned money to be back.

                                  I realise after doing some research through the net that several thousand of individuals like me have been victimised in similar manner. The victims of this systematic fraud will have to escalate this for remedial action to agencies like state police / CBI / Economic offences wing / Finance ministry / Registrar of companies / Media / Etc., As several crores of monies are involved.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I ordered (Order ID-[protected]) a Philips Portable DVD player on 25/11/2012 through Bagittoday.com and I received the same on 4/12/2012. I tried to use this as per the instructions in booklet, but the remote was not working and the player is not giving even one hour battery backup. Same thing I informed through Bagittoday.com as a complaint. Some lady called me from Bagittoday.com and she asked me to purchase a Diamond with Philips home theatre for Rs.17000.00/- which is worth of Rs.30,000/- and immediately I told that I don't want it, then I asked about my complaint against Portable DVD player and then she told me that if you are not satisfied with that player, we will refund the payment and she asked me the credit card (Standard Charted) details including CVV number. I asked her immediately, for what purpose you are asking these details and she told that these are required for refund. I believed her (Bagittoday) and given all the details without 3D password. After some time she asked me about my credit card limit, then I told that the limit is Rs.16,000/- and then I asked her, for what purpose you are asking all these and then she told that it is nothing and she told me thanks.
                                    After one hour the same person called me over phone and she told that we booked an order for a Diamond with Philips Home Theatre on your name.
                                    I Immediately asked her, how you placed the order without my willing and also asked her to cancel the order. Then she told that Order is gone to dispatch and it is not possible to cancel and the payment is over through your credit card. I did not agree with her and again asked he to cancel and she told that it is not possible, payment hochuka hi (in hindi). After some fight between us, she told that OK alright, payment is not done, check your credit card statement.

                                    The same person called me today[protected] afternoon from Bagittoday and she told that your order is in dispatch and asked me to pay the amount Rs.34.000/- for Diamond with Philips Home Theatre after delivery. I asked her that why you people insisting me? on the same day I refused your proposal about the Order on Diamond. If you insist like this, then I will go to Consumer forum.

                                    I have all the phone conversation recordings (voice files).

                                    Please help me and punish the Bagittoday people.

                                      I got a call from Aman [protected] INDIA TODAY Sales & Promotions Team from bagittoday.Com[ on 18 August 2012 ,]

                                      If you purcahse two holiday packages today then I will get a dell laptop or 32" led vierra tv. and two travel bag or two watch.
                                      He told me this offer is valid only today please give me your debit card detail or you can book the package before 6 pm .

                                      If you purchase my holidays package I will dispatch your gift only in two days .
                                      He told me purchase 2 holiday package .we purchased the same having the order number [protected] & [protected] on same day & paid the amount 0f rs. 5998/- For each package, [total rs.11996] .

                                      Then on 20th august 2012 I recieved the confirmation call from bookmyholiday.Com,
                                      in which executive told me that in this package I will get 2 different rooms for 4 person during the stay & denied
                                      about the free gifts so I told her to cancel the order .Then same day Aman (sales executive ) called me and told that this is confirmation call for holiday package only after this confirmation u will recieve a confirmation call from gift department and even if I am giving any wrong statement my call is getting recorded and anyways you can raise complain if anything wrong goes on So you can believe me as I am representing INDIA TODAY .

                                      so please confirm this, so I confirmed the package, but after that day I didnt recieved anycall from them .

                                      I M trying to call that sales person he is not even receiving the call instead somebody else replies That he is in meeting , having lunch ,absent and left the job .

                                      So I called the bagittoday customercare & raised the complaint. I ask them to cancel my order and refund me my money but they told to send mail for the same to [protected]@bagittoday.com .And I have already received holiday package (without the gifts that has been promised ) and still waiting for free gift.
                                      I M helpless & cant do anything, please help me to get my money back,
                                      because of all this I have already faced a lot of trouble & spent a lot of time on it,
                                      this is my hard earned money, which I think I have lost it,

                                      I have sent the complaint to bagittoday customer care also but didnt get a positive reply .They are saying that we used to arrange a confirm call regarding the same so You should deny at that time only . Executives told that you will get two calls from holiday team and gifts department as gifts are not regular shemes it comes under daily scheme .We havent got the second call from the gift department .I have recorded the call once we got cheated . That will directly tell how they cheat customers .Infact we even denied from getting the holiday package too....

                                      Kindly do the needful .Thanks in Advance .

                                        Kottayam 686011 was purely cheated by the tele callers of Bagittoday.
                                        I was first called by a tele caller and he said that iam one among the
                                        five lucky winners who have won the following
                                        1) Black berry mobile worth rs 27000
                                        2) Dell Laptop

                                        To get the above i need to buy two holiday packages worth rs 12000,
                                        i asked him to send the details via mail and he said that the offer is
                                        only till 2pm today nothing to worry kindly book it sir.

                                        He took my icici credit card information and redeemed the value of rs 12000.
                                        Now atlast i have received only the holiday packages.
                                        i was purely cheated in the day light

                                        Kindly provide justice and compensation for this cheat.
