Respecte Sir / Madam,

I am really very unhappy by the way you provide service as well as the way you work. I have booked holiday package from you & paid Rs.7000. My order id is [protected]. Now, when I am going for booking the holiday, you are saying the terms & conditions that you have to book atleast 1 month before & now your booking is expired. This is really frustrating. I will try my level best to fight for this in consumer complains & the other ways I can.

Either you should entend my holiday package or should refund my money with required deductions if any.

If I can't do anything, then also god will punish you for the same. Also keep in mind, that you make fool of people like us but will repent for the same.

    Hello,

    I bought a 6N 7 days travel package from BagIt Today who promised that using the same I could book 2 rooms and stay for 6nights and 7 days at any of the locations mentioned by them i.e. 4star & 5 star properties. The list shared had only 3 star properties. Also while buying I was offered quite a few freebies but till date I haven't received the same it's been almost a year now.

    Can someone please help me to cancel the order as they are not sharing details of cancellation? During the initial call I was told that I can cancel and get full refund during the 1st year if I am not happy.

      I had purchased four vouchers for Rs. 5998 each from bagittoday.com (India today group) My booking id is [protected], [protected], [protected] & [protected]. The sales person named "Sachin" (cell no. [protected]) promised with bundle of gifts if I book it now like Dell laptop, Blackberry Curve, Apple I phone & Samsung LED TV with the Holiday vouchers.

      But after a week I received only holiday vouchers and there is no gifts like promised

      I need refund of my full amount, please see into the matter seriously or otherwise I will be compelled to go in consumer court for the harassment and 420.

      I have ordered a wrist watch worth Rs. 2750/- through internet. after few days bag it today (A venture India Today Group) book club contacted me over phone and confirmed my order.

      after 1 month I got a parcel from the Bag It Today By VPP. I have paid Rs. 524 and collect the parcel. But the parcel was full of Hard Board only. but the Invoice and warranty card of the watch are there in side the box. While unpacking I have noticed the parcel was sealed. and the weight of the parcel was the same as mentioned as above the parcel.

      After that I have tried to call the Bag it today Book Club (Ph. No.[protected] several times and also e-mailed them several times but I do not get any response from their side.

      I do not know who have cheated me the postal department or the India Today Group.

      Bag it Today (India Today Group) — Old Product Sent

      I,Sushant Sarin,had bought a deal for two Swatch watches for Rs.3698 (Reference Booking ID # [protected],Order # 264793) from Bag It Today (India Today Group) but got a new watch and an OLD USED watch.

      I received my courier yesterday from Blue dart for the two watches but to my utter shock and disbelief,I saw a new watch and a USED OLD watch with scratches all over.This was the least I expected from a brand as reputed as the India Today Group that these people have stooped as low as CHEATING the clients.I have been DISGUSTED to see the utter LACK of INTEGRITY,ETHICS and PROFESSIONALISM that when I called the Customer Care,the apathetic attitude of the company was APPALLING.Instead of apologizing for the fraud,the operator asked me to courier back the two watches,so that I lose the money that I have paid these THIEVES as well as the watches.He didn't even register a complaint on my behalf.

      I have already logded a complaint on their website but am yet to receive a response.It has been the worst online shopping experience for me.

      Bag It Today — Cheating Clients with OLD USED products

      I had bought a deal for two Swatch watches for Rs.3698 (Reference Booking ID # [protected],Order # 264793) but got a new watch and an OLD USED watch with scratches all over.After repeated pleas and mails,the BAG IT TODAY (a part of India Today Group) got my watch picked up from my house,assuring me of getting it REPLACED by a NEW one.My courier # is[protected]AFL couriers,reference #[protected] and the OLD watch that this fraudulent company had sent was DELIVERED BACK on 29th September.It has been four months and I haven't received my watch,for which I was charged.This was the least I expected from a brand as reputed as the India Today Group that you people have stooped as low as CHEATING your clients.I have been DISGUSTED to see the utter LACK of INTEGRITY,ETHICS and PROFESSIONALISM that when I called the Customer Care,the apathetic attitude of your company was APPALLING.
      I feel pathetic to have interacted with a company as unprofessional as yours who have the AUDACITY to cheat their customers and then are SHAMELESS enough to try the customers patience by sending frivolous mails again and again reassuring the customer that their product would be replaced soon,though it has not been done for the last FIVE months.

      yes i agree with the gentleman, india today book club which runs this firm bag it today is filthy and so very non cooperative and cheats each and evry customer, i was also duped and inspite of my repeated requests and posting them on various sites like yours, my grievance has not resolved so far. i gave up
      so it is not to throw good money over lost money

      that is my advice to this gentleman and similar people who have gone through experience

        Order no. [protected]

        The above referred order was place on 03rd July 2012 by me on thee certain assurances by Mr. Raj Malhotra of your Company.

        At thee time of confirmation of Order by your Company, it was told to me theat, theese promises are not true and theen I told thee Caller theat if theose are not true, I need to cancel thee Order. it was sometime on 05the/ 06the July. and I was assured you theat it will be canceled in 2/3 days and confirmation will be provided by way of Email.

        after theat somewhere on 09the/ 10 thee July ai was contacted by Mr. Chandrasen from your office and he has assured to me theat he will do thee necessary procedure internally and cancel thee order and will arrange for refund of my money in next 5 working days.

        However theere was no response by your side and I was contacting Customer care dept almost daily bu no satisfactory answers came to me.

        Today I called up your customer care dept and one Ms Ankita, told me theat thee Order is under process and I will receive thee Product in 2/3 Working days and NO way I will be able to cancel;l thee Order nor I will receive refund of thee amount I paid.

        It is Frustrating experience to deal withe your Company and theere is no way possible to contact thee persons who has dealt withe me in initial stages or it is impossible to contact any senior Office.

        I do not know, whetheer, I will be able to get my money?

              Diamonds supplied were found worthless so all orders were cancelled but company is not refunding my money.
              I have provided them datewise transactions by their sales department.

                Hi,

                This is Munisankara.M,They called me from BagItToday, they told, I got selected to get platinum ID.Then I paid 53498/- for Diamonds pack on 17th july 2012 through credit card.The amount went from my account, it went to "LIVING MEDIA INDIA LTD DELHIIN"

                He told me to convert the amount in to 24 months EMI from their side(not my side). But still I didn't get any conformation on that.

                The pack includes

                1. 2packs of diamonds
                2. Panasonic home theater
                3. Panasonic DVD player
                4. Carry bag
                5. Penasonic digital camera 14.1 mega pixels
                6. puja thali
                7.2pieces Spice mobiles 2G and 3G.

                I paid total 53498/-(opening 29999+closing 23499). Find the below trasanction id's.
                Below are the information got from Executive.

                I got a call yesterday for conformation,But still I didn't get any emails or messages from u today, details like Order Id, transaction Id's and Platinum id and password etc.
                Please reply me back, with all details.

                I called to customer care, thay are telling, the amount is not updated.

                  I have booked the holiday package from bag it today in which I was promised to give two free gift, a Reebok duffel bag and a dell mini laptop.

                  My Order ID is [protected] and received the confirmation mail from your side on 06:20 Pm 27th July 2012.

                  On 26th June 2012 I received a call from a Senior Executive Mr. Ravi, He elaborated me about the holiday package saying that this package has around 4500 4star and 5star hotels in India in every part of country where as only few resorts are listed on website to give you the idea that which types of hotels are included and their details will be received with voucher. And also on booking this holiday package I will receive a Reebok duffel bag and a dell mini laptop as free gift.

                  On inquiring how you can give me dell laptop which costs around 20000/- with just holiday package of 5998/- rs, He said that I have done my last purchase from bag it today in their happy hour and I have been chosen in a lucky draw and this laptop is being given to only 22 customers as promotional gift and Iam one of them.

                  The deal seemed to be genuine one as I trust Bag it Today and India today group being the regular customer. And then on 27th June I was asked to do the payment with the promise that I will receive my voucher with free gifts with in 2-7 working days.

                  Before doing payment I was not informed that gift and voucher both will come from different depts. but Next day I received a call saying that I will get a call from verification department for voucher but In that call they wont be mentioning anything about free gifts, as gifts comes directly from gift section and I was asked to call them back after I receive verification call so that you can give me courier tracking number for gifts and voucher.

                  Same day I received the verification call and I even confirmed that to their gift section but on asking for tracking number they said the file has not been updated yet and they will give me the same after updating file.

                  After that I kept on following up for the gifts and voucher but they did not respond properly and kept on saying that file has not been updated yet.

                  After 4-5 days, I received the voucher but only 19-20 destinations were included in that voucher and also no gift was received.

                  Even after that I tried to contact customer care, but there was no positive response from customer executive side and they kept on saying that I will be receiving my gifts soon.

                  I have wasted lot of time following up with customer Care, Moreover there is no attempt by company’s executives to resolve the issue even after regular mails

                  I have also found many such complaints on net,similar to mine but I have got all the call recordings for the conversation done. I have been cheated both the ways,niether I have received the complete voucher as promised nor the free gifts.

                  I won’t hesitate to take this consumer court if I don’t get my voucher and gifts at earliest.

                  I had registered for Rs.60 lacs sweepstake entry through envelope
                  Thereafter I got a phone call from ITBC offering pack of Sur Saaz aur Taal CD's @Rs.2599. In return they have informed the following free gifts worth Rs.14000/- would be provided alogwith the CD's :

                  1. Voucher worth Rs.7000 for air travel in India.
                  2. Wrishwatch from United Color of Benneton.
                  3. Holiday voucher for Rs.5000
                  4. 1 key chain
                  5. 1 leather purse.

                  I have received vide their invoice no.ORAO90009534 dated 07.02.09 only the CD's, whereas all other things as above have not been received.

                  On speaking to at the call centre no. they have informed to log on their website bookstoday.in/promos.htm and claim free gifts by mentioning the unique identification number.

                  Unfortunately after trying several times it is not being logged and shows error in the identification number.

                  ITBC have failed in their commitments and have failed to deliver the freebies and now are giving excuse of logging on their sites for claiming the gifts. It is misleading and people are fooled after they have made the payment.

                  India Today Book Club — Gifts not received

                  0gb[protected] , ordered thru phone as usual for 5698 to receive camera, reebok glasses, jewellery voucher for 5000 and holiday for couple for 5000.

                  Recd camera in 3 weeks, the links dint work and neither voucher nor reebok sunglasses received, so for a scheme worth 20,000 as offered i paid 5698 for just a camera c180 which already costs 4999 in mkt and not what i paid..

                  I want my gifts ASAP else i will escalate matter. Also your executve KAPIL was rude on phone..He simply said site is down , call in 3 days, same answer i got from executve when i had called earlier..

                  I booked the package offered after talking to Mr Rohit and Kabir, as detailed below:

                  I was told that the voucher will be posted within 7 (seven) days.
                  But, till so far, I have not received the vouchers. Moreover, sent several email reminders but no response from them.

                  In addition to the above:

                  Someday, I got call from India Today confirming the address and telling that, another voucher is lying unpaid in addition to paid one. If you will not pay the amount, unable to send the first one also as courier cost will be more. ha ha, poor india today!!!!
                  First of all, who booked the other package? If it is booked the payment was also to be made as the first one. I have ordered one package, paid for one package, I should get one package.
                  It is requested to take up this matter and brought the appropriate authority to take necessary action for cheating.

                  I am surprised to receive this courier as i have neither contacted any of your offices nor
                  i have received any calls from your side regarding confirmation of the booking.

                  Please let me know how it happened that without my consent. I have not opened the cover.

After going through internet I understand that this is all fraudulent and diamond are not worth Rs. 60,000/- as claimed by you. Several people have lodged complaint against it. I am therefore cancelling the order. You are advised to refund amount of Rs. 29,999/-

                    On 2nd of July first Mr Jiendra talk to me regarding My Platinum Id generation and I need to transect Rs. 5999/- for which Bagitoday is going to give me products worth 15xxx/- and Platinum ID which he was suppose provide me on phone only but we could not manage to complete transaction at first instance with he help of your payment team took my details they had transected the some from my debit card I got confirmation from My bank 5:49 PM same day. 2nd July only. ext Day Mr Jitendra and also his senior Mr Anil talk to me after I made call to your No [protected]
                    But I didn't got any confirmation from Bagittoday till Date. Till toady no products no Membership ID

                      Dear Sirs,

                      I need help have made one order to Bagit today have not been cleared and was waiting till one week then when i asked for details they said it is out of stock and then i asked for my refund.

                      Since last one month they are playing with the order and no refund is processed and now they say there is no policy on refund and will give me only gift vouchers that two separate which I cannot use on one purchase.

                      Same is also pending since one week

                      Need help how to put a complaint against them in consumer court

                        I have ordered for a mobile sent vide id. no[protected] dated 06.07.2012 to Bagittoday. But they are telling only when the product will be available they will furnish the same. But I could not understand why did they advertise the product which is not available and after lapse of so many days I have not received the Product. They are also not giving me any specific date when I will receive the product. I have paid Rs.1999/- through online .

                        BagItToday — non receipt of product ordered

                        I had placed order for rebok sunglasses on 17.03.2010 and made payment through internet banking. I have not received the product till date. When contacted I was told that the product was despatched through Blue dart Courier & it was returned as they could not locate my address. Incidentally I had not received any phone call asking for my address. Later after I complained over phone & mail I was twice asked to give confirm my address with landmar and I confirmed my address over phone and also sent detailed address by mail on did that also 09.04.10. After a few days when I enquired about the status of my order, they again asked me to confirm my address. I was fed up and told them to stop asking to for confirmation of address and despatch the product immediately. I also sent a mail on 24.05.10 asking them to either despatch the product immediately within a week, or refund the amount paid. I received a regret message on the same day informing me to give some more time. But after that neither have I received the product nor any communication from them on this.

                          India Today — article not received after payment

                          I had booked Encylopedia on line with India Today Book Club(ITBC) by paying Rs.574/-(Order no 0GA[protected], Membership no:ITBC[protected]
                          Initially after almost 1 month I got a parcel from Post office, but Postman asked for money of Rs.699+35 to release the VPP. When I contacted on tel 40502424, I have been told that not to accept the same, ITBC will send new article by EPP. More than 20 times I had called, but nobody is ready to give confirmatation of expected schedule of dispatch of the article. Ms.Baljeet is not ready to give Mr.Vivek Gaur's tel no. Customer care executive has no infomation about the dispatch. So its Indicates that ITBC is a FRAUD organisation just collection money from customer and not delivering the books.

                                I've purchased a PERFUME from BAGITTODAY.com on May 21st with Order ID- [protected] and Paying Rs. 2038.00.
                                Till date, whenever I contact them, they ask for 5-6 more working days to dispatch the order and are pathetic in their responses.

                                The Customer executives, copy and paste the same content as a reply and i've have around 20 e-mails of communication and they are unrelenting ans utter shameless.

                                I've been left high and dry with this company and seriously warn anyone even trying to go near them.

                                  I wish to complain about online purchase of Sun glass Police – 2932 , Order ID is: [protected] from Bag it today, which I have ordered on 21.06.2012 and made a successful credit card payment for an amount of Rs 3549.00.
                                  I am complaining because the item which I have received on 27.06.2012 against the above order was a different one, a Donnakaran make. To resolve this problem I would like to request you to take necessary action to replace the item.
                                  When I first observed this problem, I have send e mail to Bag it today , first e mail on 28.06.2012 and three more I send also subsequent discussion I had with their customer relation ship officers on different dates
                                  Ms. Sandhya on 30.06.2012 at 1.35 pm ,Mr. Ashish on 02.07.2012 at 4.00 pm &Mr. Bhagat on 03.07.2012 at 2.50
                                  As per the advice from Ms. Sandhya, I have send the images of the received product on 01.07.2012 after there was no responses from them. Then I contacted Mr. Ashish and I have been told that I would get a replay on 02.07 or 03.07.12.pm.There was no replay from Bag it today, again I contacted Mr. Bhagat. His response was totally unprofessional and not interested to answer me.
                                  I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible to resolve this problem.

                                    I have purchased a holiday package of 7n/8d for rs. 7000/- + 750/- = Rs.7750/-
                                    Rs. 750 is DD , paid by me later by sending courier including filled form

                                    I filled the form for goa tour.
                                    And after asking for goa hotel they replied me below mail:-

                                    "on thu, dec 1, 2011 at 2:02 pm, book my holiday wrote:

                                    dear mr rahul,

                                    we thank you for contacting us.

                                    With reference to your telephonic conversation with one of our executive we would like to inform you that we are available with resort village [protected]@ goa from the dt: 22/01/2012 for 4 for 5d/4n.

                                    After this reservation your membership will get expired further to this reservation is non transfer able, non cancel able and non reschedule able at any circumstance.

                                    Request you to please cross check the same and revert back to us if you would like to book the same with us since all bookings are subject to promotional availability.

                                    As another days are not available, on behalf of that we will pay to the resort the cost o[censored]tility, government taxes and luxury taxes.
                                    Looking forward to hear from you soon."

                                    And I replied by mail :- "yes I agree with it"

                                    after above confirmation they called me and said that above resort (resort village [protected]@ goa) is presently not available and they send me another mail for confirmation that is :-

                                    but they didn't send me voucher , so I called them and ask for voucher , finally they send me voucher for palmarihna resort @ goa on 22nd jan 2012

                                    I printout that voucher and went for my trip
                                    when I reached to palmarihna resort @ goa reception said your booking is cancelled. I shocked how it happened? I called to bookmyholiday they told me your booking is changed from palmarihna resort @ goa to hotel bellarosa @ goa
                                    that hotel is so far from palmarihna resort. I was unhappy with this type of inconvenience of bookmyholiday group.
                                    I want to refund my money for this inconvenience.

                                      With due respect it is informed to you that vide order No. [protected] dt.[protected]:16:17.0 I have placed a order for I ball Mobile ANDi # Black + Silver online which payment was confirmed. Online payment was made for through debit card i.e. Rs.4949.00+250 credit redeemed=5199/-.

                                      I have not received the ordered product as yet. On my personal enquiry made on telephone it has come to my notice that the consignment was handedover by the Bagittoday to ffc at Gurgaon. Further Gurgaon sent it to Raipur on 03/06/12 & one 04/06/12 they sent it to Bilaspur of Chhatisgarh. Till 15/06/12 it was being shown lying with ffc at Bilaspur of Chhatisgarh as "pending-misroute" and therefore "pending misroute" has been removed and being shown despatched from hub on 04/06/2012, whereas I belongs to Bilaspur of Himachal Pradesh. My address in the account registered with Bagittoday is very much clear. I have incurred huge amount on telephonic conversation with the BagitToday as well as firsflight courier but they have failed badly to deliver my consignment.

                                      It is therefore requested to kindly give me relief as per provisions of law as this is case of cheating the consumer and misusing his money and power and doing mental harassment.

                                        It is informed that encyclopedia CDS were purchased from ITBC now call BagitToday vide consignmentno.627285,invoice no. ORA[protected],order No.OGA[protected] dt.10/08/2009 which were received scratched on27/08/2009 and were sent back through registered post on 28/08/2009. For refund huge e-mails sent and even huge amount spent by making conact with your customer representative .On16/8/2011 a cheque No.270962 dt.5/1/11 i.e. lapsed cheque was received and was sent back to send me validated cheque. But uptill now refund has not been sent to me. Thereafter I have made so many requests through e-mail and telephone but only assurances are given to wait and wait. Now I have left noremedy except to seek redressal of Hon'ble Consumer Court therefore thsis complaint is filed to interfere and humble request is made kindly resolve the issue and get my refund along-with charges minimum of Rs.5000/- from the company.
