Hi,

I have got an offer in website that bagittoday are giving Provougue sunglass worth
Rs 3999 for Rs 999 only, I placed order for the same and paid Rs.999 through netbanking, but they have delivered different product to me.So I want to complain against them, they are really cheated me.Please refer the URL, you can get their offer details http://www.bagittoday.com/itbc/c1479/landing.jsp , Please take necessary steps against them.Please call me @[protected] for any queries. I have uploaded the picture of sunglass which I have received from them. And you can see that picture of actual sunglass in their website ,which I have ordered.

I am talking about the model of that sunglass, why it is different one.How can it vary from advertised product? then what is the use of your offer? you are just doing copy and paste the response, that same response I got by mail from [protected]@bagittoday.com .Are you kidding with these kind of complaints?
I have received that amount and promised that I will not buy anything from, I am really wasted my time for dealing with you.

    This is case of Online Purchase

    I am surprised Rather shocked that such an reputed organisation - India Today Book Club has to use malpratices to sell its products

    Their executive called on my mobile & informed me that I have been one among 3 persons selected by India Today Book Club & that I would be a certain winner of Rs.1lakh to 8 lakh & for this India Today Book Club is also offering 10.1 Phillips DVD player worth Rs.46000 in just Rs. 15000 . Although I was not interested as I already owned phillips DVD player .but the executive insisted on with variety of new added qualities of the product offered .After much insistence I agreed to his request . And from here cheating started - following is the detail

    1 he said that I have to use my card twice for Rs. 7598 each time to get Locking booking ID & claiming booking ID

    2. and that after today my name would be blocked & no call would be made from India Today Book Club for this matter

    3. I would receive A form with in 7 days which would need to be sent to Banglore office duly filled in along with certain documents

    4. many other such cheating / absurd talks ( which I understood lateron)

    Complaints:

    1. two DVD players 5.1 were sent intead of one 10.1 & that too of very old model without any latest features as described by the
    executive
    2. no form is recd even after 1 month & Now ,I think It is only a hoax with no truth in it
    3. in the meantime I was insisted by the other exexcutives also regularly to purchase other items & that I am certain winner of a big amt & So ON but I flatly refused as I Don't want to keep any relationship with such cheats
    EVEN in the last call on 30.01.11 their executive
    again tried to sell any product , but on refusal he challenged me get any refund
    Now , I want such bogus material should be got lifted from my residence by India Today Book Club & return my money back with damages immediately

      Hope this will be read by one sincere employee of Bag It Today. I would like to mention that I have really lost faith with your organisation as a whole. I am writing this after my 150th mail and innumerable ph calls to your customer care numbers. I am briefing out the issue.

      On 26th of October 2010, I received a call stating I will be receiving the following items:
      1. ONE pack of diamond (7 to 10 pieces)
      2. A Magpie tea set
      3. REEBOK KIT (BAG, TSHRT, SHOES, TOWEL and WRIST WATCH). I even provided the size of the show, the colur of the towel and tshrt.
      Because of this offer I applied for the product which was promised to me to be delivered within 10 working days. After innumerable phone calls and persuasion I received HALF OF THE PRODUCTS after nearly 1.5 months. The whole REEBOK KIT WAS MISSING.

      I was told by the customer care representative that they will verify the tape that had called me. After verification also they confirmed me that they will look into the matter and will provide me my REEBOK KIT. But till date I am waiting for the justice.

      Bag It Today... Please dont be a cheater organisation as 1000 others out there. This is a request from one of your faithful customer. This is my second purchase from you. Its already 6months over till the date I have placed my order. Please do justice to me.

      Wireless Optical Mouse — No delivery yet after one month

      I purchased and ordered a optical mouse from rediffshopping last month. the transaction immedietly done and i received reply that Order is Recieved and u get your product in 3-4 days.
      But after one month 15 days still i have not received my ordered product.
      Please send me my money back to me otherwise i have to take further try..

      Sir I have booked 1 Reebok watch worth Rs. 299 /- on Bag it today online on date 21/08/2010. But till date 26/10/2010, I have called at least 8 times to their customer service department inquiring about my product. My Billing ID for this shopping is[protected]. All the time Bag it Today customer service told me that you get your product within 7-8 days. Now I am frustrated complaining their customer service department. Please let me help either to get my money back or my product.

      Bag It Today — Product not Working

      The company - BAG IT TODAY is BIG Thieves. They sell the THIRD GRADE products saying the big brand names. After registering the compaint to them their Executives says that " WE CANT DO ANYTHING"
      I would suggest all the peopoles who are thinking to buy the products from Bag It Today - A India Today Company, PLease dont Buy..YOU WILL GET INTO A BID MESS....THEY ARE THE BIG FRAUDS.
      i order MTV sunglasses on 26-10-10, i was told that i'll get this with in 2-3 weeks, but i didn't received the same even after 1 months. my order id is[protected], every time when i call customer care they assured me that it will delivered with in 7days. but it never ever happened. if requested them to refund my money which they denied. i cant wait any more solve my problem or i'll file a case against bag it today in court.

      I placed the very first order with BAg it today for Sunglasses & paid via credit card. This was a test run for future orders. Till date i HAVE NOT received my order. I have communicated a lot with all their representatives & even the supervisor. EVery time i have the same reply that they are tracing. Then once the supervisor promises to give me the result within a week & bear with them but till date i am waiting for the call from her side to come. Then they even told me that my money would be refunded & within 24 hrs i will get a mail wrt same. This was latest by them on May 9,2011. but till date the 24 hrs have not been arrived at. Today also they had the same answer dated back 3 months ago.

      BAG IT TODAY IS TRUE TO ITS NAME BUT IN OPPOSITE SENSE> MEANING " BAG IT TODAY ( CUSTOMER'S MONEY)
      bag it today name should be fraud it today / cheat it today.
      As order is cancelled by bag it today team and receive a call about the order and I asked for product availability they told that the same is available and upon request that I want the product and not refund. I receive call from bag it today on 17/05/2011 for re-ordering and amount is paid through credit card again.

        hi,
        I booked a holiday trip by paying 7000/- by credit card but after payment they have not responded my calls.
        they have not sent me the welcome kit and referal gift also.
        As i thought it a good deal i refered it to my freind Ashutosh Kumar who also bought it.
        And he also did not get any response.


        what to do now?
        should i consult some law firms, is it a cheating on the name of India Today or what?

          I had paid for purchasing a watch on Bagittoday.com on the 2nd of February 2011 and as i write this complaint, it is the 18th of April and they not only have yet not delivered the product but also made false promises of a refund to me last month. I have not received any refund for the item I have purchased. This fraudulent practices of these e-commerces enterprises should be taken seriously amongst us customers. I hope the necassary actions are taken against the agency to provide me and the other victims of such incidents

              I have booked Reebok shoes, Reebok watch, Foldabale school bag, Reebok T Shirt and MTV Aviator cool glass by going through advertisement in Vijaya Karnataaka news paper. I have booked the order on 24.02.2011 woth order no. 28995. They have told that I will receive it with in 20 days from date of booking. But surprisingly I have received the parcel by making payment of Rs. 3568/- on 13.04.2011. To my surprise when I opened the parcel, I found only Reebok watch and foldable bag. Other items were not there in the parcel. Foldable bag was of inferior quality and not similar as shown in the advertisement. Immediateley I contacted Bag it today office and they have advised me to send complaint to their mail ([protected]@bagittoday.com) by quoting my customer complaint no.[protected]. That mail was not found and I received the message the mail id is not working. I tried to contact once again, but they are not giving suitable reply and try to avoid me.

              I once again request you to provide my justice and teach a lesson to the lair company.

                I have ordered this product on 25th of March, 2011 and has been informed that, I will receive the consignment within 10 to 15 days. I have enquired about the consignment thrice, but have received three different communication that I will receive my product within 4 to 5 working days, " We are running shortage of stock, and will provide you with the stock within 7 working days" and I'll have to wait for the product for another 10 to 12 days. I've also received a complain number in my last call with id- 116007. I am filled dissatisfaction and cheat, my order even has not been dispatched. The last communication which I've received is that I should take the dispatch details for the order on 11th of April, 2011 after 4:00 pm . I have still not received any consignment details yet, the customer support is just apologizing for non- availability of stock . My money is with them from the past 21 days, for which I'll not be paid any interest. They have even not communicated their address on their website.                 I've received a call today from bag it today regarding my complaint on this portal. The girl named Neha, informed me that, She had a chat with her seniors and they confirmed her that the stock has not been replenished yet and will not be replenished for 2 more weeks. The contact no, from which I received this communication was[protected]. The comment which I have received on this website, regarding my complaint is that the stock has been replenished. I don't understand, how openly the forgery is being done on this portal, and no body is able to take any severe actions against them. They even hide their address and don't communicate it to the customer. As per their written communication, If their stock has been replenished, Why will it take 12-15 days in the delivery of the product, If treated seriously.

I don't want to disclose any thing at this time but the conversation with Telephone No. [protected] has been recorded in my mobile for further action against you. it is sure if my order No.-[protected] item Re-Bock wrist watch in good condition didn't reach to my given correspondence within 10 days from receipt of this mail then your coy. will be faced huge problem and will suffer lot and you will also know the value of customers because I am well aware about procedure of law.You should identify customer respect otherwise you will be dealt accordingly.                   I have email your team thorugh my external id. I think they cant understand what am going through. I need compensation for the harrasment and for the delay infact for cancleling the order and getting the refund.. It's simple i had to chop my plans which was based on the vouchers which your company was suppose to send me. Please dont ask any one to call on that number JUST UNHELPFULL PEOPLE OUT THERE.                   Bag it today is very very cheater coy. They often call to the innocent person and ask their identity and their bank account referring India today group. I think some scandal is also there in India today. CBI may en quire into the matter for tracing out the big scam.
                  I think CBI official will pay attention.
                  Bagittoday is one of the most careless company I have faced so far. Probably mismanagement at there level making them worst. I have ordered the first item (one blue tooth speaker)on March 5th 2014. Till after one month it is still showing processing (see below). Don not purchase from this organization unless you have years on your hand to get the goods. Regards.Prasenjit

                    I had ordered Silverleaf ornaments (attached image) through Bag It today order no [protected] / [protected]. What i have received is "First Look" brand ornaments (attached image) instead of SILVERLEAF, as depicted. THIS IS ABSOLUTE CHEATING FROM BAG IT TODAY. I have written them email 2 days back but got no reply. I had pre-paid for the product through internet banking. I want to file a consumer court case against BAG IT Today and India Today Group for cheating and sending a sub-standard product.

                        I had ordered a product from Bag it Today in October 2010.
                        Order number is OGA[protected]
                        Reference id no[protected] for Rs 1398
                        At first they send the product in Cash on Deliver Mode. and the customer care told me there was a mistake from their part and they will re ship the item in prepaid mode. Since there was unnecessary delays in getting the order, i cancelled the order in December 2010.
                        The customer executive who contacted me had told money will be refunded in 21 days.
                        After that i have contacted the customer care in january, feb and march, the are constantly repeating same message,
                        we will refund in 3 weeks time.
                        It is now more than 4 months and till now no money has been refunded.
                        It is a shame for a well known company like India Today Group for playing games with their privileged customers.
                        So i am expecting necessary Action from Bag it Today.

                          NEW DELHI-110068.

                          I received a parcel ON 17.03.2011
                          from them.I got stunned on opening this parcel,a SUNGLASS was in it,which was ordered by MR.VISHAL VERMA,ROOM NO.102,KAMAL BOYS HOSTEL,NEAR
                          SPRING DALE SCHOOL ,PUNE.MAHARASHTRA-411041.Its order no is [protected].
                          I returned the parcel on the same day for replacement.Amount Rs.499 has been paid to the delivery man.
                          Now about 25 days have been passed but they have not sent my order of NUMURO UNO Watch.I have wriiten many e-mails to [protected]@bagittoday.com &
                          Dominic.[protected]@intoday.com but they are not responding properly.

                          Kindly help me to resolve the issue.

                            My name is Sumanta Das and i am a member of Bag it today Online shopping. I have purchased a Mtv Roadies sunglass worth Rs399 using my debit card on 2nd March. On 21st March they told me that i will receive the order within 7 days. Then on 25th march they told me that my order has been returned due to wrong address. But during the form fillup in online I have provided the correct address. However I again gave them the correct address and I was told that the product will be delivered in the address within 7-8 days. But on today, 7th april, 2011 i called the customer care and then told me that my address is not updated and they did not redispatch the order. They are accusing me for the delay. This company is harrasing me too much for this product and they don't know how to behave with a customer. In future i will not purchase anything from this company. It's a horrible experience to deal with them. For reference the order id is [protected].

                              Hi , I got a mail from Bag it today that i have been declared winner for a Mystery bag full of ethinic jeweller with limited edition of worth 3999 , But to be paid 399 only for handlng charge to get it. The product what i receive from them will not be cost more than 30 rupees & that too in a damaged condition . Next day I got a call from bag it today that I have won prize worth 75,000/- So they need 23,999/- Rs. to be paid, then I will get a blackberry mobile with WiFi facility.. I said OK then transaction happened.. I received the mobile after one month from the booking date... Received mobile is not working well...I just lost my money by doing this transaction..
                                If any one want to buy any thing please don't go online purchasing in India...The material is always fake and quality reject...Enjoy your money with your personal choose material.

                                  Bag It Today — Not receive order after payment

                                  Hi,

                                  I have claimed for free reebok watch on 02-Dec-09 and I have paid all sum by credit card.mu billing number is[protected]
                                  Until, Ihave not got any package or response from your side.
                                  I also got for the same mail of Reebok products, thank to get such fraud via consumercomplaints.
                                  I was trying to place an online order for Reebok track suit online on 03/02/10 which was aborted by me . However within half hour of the same, I got a call from india today book club who told me that since my order did not go though online, i can place my order on the phone.
                                  The staff had solicited an order through phone and I had placed an order through my credit card for a Reebok track suit, size Small on 03/02/2010. Since it is my first order on the site, I had also been promised the free Reebok Watch. I was given the order no.[protected]. I was also informed that the order will be delivered within 15 days and that i will receive a confirmation of my order placement on sms as well as in my e-mail.
                                  However no confirmation happened either on mail or phone. I phoned the so called customer care helpline on 09/02/2010 where i was told that "my order is not punched in the system" . However, my credit card was debited on 03/02/2010!! On not receiving any satisfactory reply on phone, I emailed them immediately with all details. i got a reply the next day, hwoever i was told that i will not be getting the promised free watch as the order was not online.
                                  following this, I asked them to cancel my order immediately to which i was told that my order is already "completely processed" so it cannot be cancelled . however i can "refuse to accept the parcel" when it arrives.(!!) However. i am told that the parcel will arrive in 21 days!!

                                  The cheating/ fraud is evident besides the following issues :
                                  1. the wrong information provided to me at the time of placing the order
                                  2. Why is my online order/information being tracked by someone else (presumably their telesales Department) who called me within half hour of my incomplete online transaction and had access to all the information like my address etc. which I had provided online. Since the scheme applicable is not the same they should have provided me the full information instead of providing wrong information.
                                  3. Refusing to cancel the order forthwith when it is not despatched.
                                  4. No mechanism of cancelling the order.
                                  5. The telephone call on 3/2/10 when the original order was solicited should be traced and analysed for all the false satements given by their staff.

                                  Following my experience, I would also like to warn everyone from making any purchases from this site for the major reason that they risk divulging all their personal information to strangers which was strangely available to their arbitrary sales staff.
                                  2.Also there is no clear mechanism of order tracking/ cancelling the order.
                                  3. The staff is adept at giving wrong information just to grab orders.
                                  4. The problems will never be redressed satisfactorily.
                                  This is the worst and most hellish experience of online shopping that i had.

                                  I have called them more than 10 time, initially they responded that "wait for few days" and we are processing the refund. Now they put my call on hold and don't respond at all.

                                  I have mailed them 4-5 times but they respond with the standard reply

                                  "With reference to your mail we would like to inform you that we are forwarding your cancel as refund request to our concern department. We request you that kindly wait for some days."

                                  I am really frustrated from their behavior. Can you please suggest me how to get the refund back.

                                  Please also suggest how we can take such companies to consumer court.

                                  I would like the share the pain and trauma I am under goiing as I am being fooled by a well known Publishing company (Living Media-India Today Book Club-Bagittoday) and how they trapped me and made me to part my hard earned money in return for false promises.

                                  In April I got a call from India Today book club for free Reebok watch with Delivery charges of Rs 299. I went ahead for the same.

                                  Subsequently I got a call on 30th May from them giving details of my previous order and gave me spot offer whereby they offered

                                  1. Aipek Wireless Projector of Rs 70000

                                  2. Philips Home theatre of Rs 25000

                                  3. Gold Jewellery voucher of Rs 50000(all can be used in single transaction or multiple transaction as per my choice without any condition)

                                  4. Return Air ticket for any sector in India

                                  5. Payment in 15 interest free EMI starting after 2 months from the date of purchase

                                  6. Felivery in 3-4 days with Gold jewellery vouchers code will be given immediately

                                  Trusting the name and previous experience, I placed the order online by membership no. ITBC10389938.

                                  However after few days when I didn't received the product I called up their helpline. They were ready rude asked me to give credit card transaction reference number. When I gave the same they asked me to give credit card statement with assurance that the same will not be misused and the product will be delivered immediately. When I gave them the card statement now they are not confirming any time schedule

                                  I am already under pressure to pay amount to card company which I have not provided for and under going the mental trauma. How come a well known publishing company like INDIA Today book club can do thing like this?

On 14th of April 2010 i recieved a call from India today bookclub saying that i am the lucky winner of some contest and if i purchase products from India Today book club i will recieve Cash price Rs.30000/- along with the booked product. So i booked two products
                                  1. Samsung Super mobile (Rs.12498/-) booking I.D.[protected]
                                  and 2. Phillips Home Theatre (Rs.5198/-) booking I.D.[protected]
                                  by making the payment through credit card.
                                  After two days when i called to customer care, i understood that there is no such cash price award along with the booked product. I rejected the Parcel of 1st product as told by the customer executive for refund. The parcel was recieved by India today back on 25th may 2010, today is 26th July 2010, but still i have not recieved the refund of the 1st product after several follow ups through mail or by phone. Now since 2 weeks i am getting no reply to mails.
                                  When i enquire about the 2nd product (Phillips Home Theatre) which i have still not recieved while my money was deducted on 15th April 2010, the regular reply that i am getting is that your order is not punched in our database. Does it takes to 4 months to punch a order?

                                  I got an SMS from Bag It Today stating that there is some special offer wherein I can get a Bata Bag for Rs 1300 odd and was also mentioned that I'll get Vouchers worth Rs 7000 which I can redeem to buy Air Tickets so I replied to that message. About 2 weeks later they sent a Parcel to my House without even calling or confirming about the Offer. Since I was not at Home at that time and my friend was there at Home he accepted the Parcel and paid the money. When I came home he informed me about this so I opened the Parcel and found a Book and a Bag for which they charged me Rs1300 whereas it is hardly worth Rs 200 - 300 and there was an Invoice on which it was mentioned that to claim my free air tickets I need to go to a particular website so I logged on to the website and registered here and then they asked me to call on a number to claim the Tickets. I called that number and I was asked to pay Rs 7000 to claim my free Air Tickets worth Rs 7000. I seriously fail to understan that what kind of free tickets are these and why do they give misleading information. After that I called them on the Customer Care Number and they asked me to send an email for returning that and geting my money back so I snet that email but have not heard anything from them after that.

                                  I would request you to look into this at the earliest as it seems they are running some kind of Scam and I'm still getting those SMS and Emails which are very misleading.

                                  01.I would like to intimate you that i purchased LCD B450(samsung) in the month of JULY-22-2010 through telesales of you organisation against which i have been promised to send the Gold vouchers worth Rs.120, 000/-(ONE LAKH TWENTY THOUSAND ONLY)with the delivery of the product.But its been three months and i havn't got any vchrs. yet.After contacting your customer care they always make their commitments(it wil be delivered to me in a weeks time/vchrs are finished in the stock/it will be sent to your e-mail id etc.)You staff is totally mannerless and not at all co-operative.Your staff always give fake commitment and are not ready to give their seniors no's as well na matter if their customers are facing trouble because of them.

                                  02. I made a transaction on the same day 22, july2010 from your organisation worth Rs.19498(Sony ericsson phone)+2398(handling charges), which i have been told that it be delivered to me in a weeks time but later i got a call from your org. stating that the phone is not in the stock so i can go for some other option or can apply for the refund, so the reason i opted for the refund.The executive told me it will be credited in my credit card a/c within 30-40 days.But when i called at your customer care no.[protected]they always have one statement that it will be sorted out next week.
                                  My refund reference no. is generated on[protected], and generrally it takes 21 working days to refund the amount(as stated by you customer care staff)but its been more than 30 days and still the case is pending.
                                  It's my sincere request to you to kindly refund the amount and send the vouchers to avoid further inconvinience to me and to your organisation as well coz i don't want to bring this thing in the public.

                                  My name is Sombit Bose( ID ITBC[protected] and I am new member of Bag It Today and also referred my friends about this website but after the experience I had I think I did injustice to them.. After I became member of Bag It today I was told that I will get a free Reebok watch as a welcome gift along with my first purchase.. anyways I was not bothered about that, I did purchase some nobles and a Numero Uno wrist watch and I opted for Cash on delivery option. then from the next day onwards I started getting calls from Bag It today saying that I will have to place the order again and place it on my Credit card.. and I started getting these calls everyday at least 3-4 calls each day.. I told them that I opted for cash on delivery and I denied to pay by credit card, then I representative said then your order will be cancelled.. so I said ok.. then Cancel my order.. then suddenly after few days I got a call from courier company that they had a package for me from Bag it today.. so I said that I already cancelled that but still I accepted it and paid for it.. Then when I opened the package I got everything but not the free Reebok watch which I was suppose to get.. ok I thought that not a big deal I will call them and sort things out.. I also got some free coupons on the package saying that I have won some prizes and I need to log into the link which I was given there and claim it.. so I logged into the link but after I put my unique authorization code it does not accept that.. I call customer care on 21st October, the rep said that it will be done by 24hrs.. I said ok not an issue it might happen.

                                  Then today I again tried to log in it still didn't work.. and I called back the customer care.. then it was really heights I spoke to the rep and I gave him the details about the issue first he placed me on hold.. ok no issues it was fine till then he told me that it will again take 24hrs more from tomorrow i.e. 25th of October that was also ok with me but then I thought I must raise a concern for this so I asked the rep to give his senior who is available first he said " No one is available since today is Sunday" but when I told him that I also work for a multinational company and I also handle team of my own and there is no company that will allow only representatives to take calls without any team lead then he said" My senior is busy it will take long time" I told him I will wait then he said " no you cannot wait", I told him that he cannot deny a escalation if a customer is asking for.. he said no he can't let me talk to his team lead or senior.. then I told him ok then I think I need to take some action and need to raise an alarm and will even force me to go to Consumer Forum this time his response was " ok no issues .. call us anytime and thank you for calling .. hung up"
                                  This was really a worst experience of my life I never had any issues with eBay or my telephone company, they are much more courteous that Bag It Today Service.

                                  It is extremely surprising that no criminal prosecution could have been launched against the scammers so far. It is due to the negligence and unawareness of the complainants. They are, however, making endless efforts in complaining against the scammers in various forums those have no statutory forces or punitive powers. Why don't you file First Information Reports in respective Police Stations under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code ( in above noted cases Sec. 420, 467, 468, 471, read with Sec. 34 of IPC are relevant sections). Respective Police Station is duty bound to entertain and lodge your FIR and initiate investigation, arrest the wrongdoers/offenders followed by chargesheet under relevant charges. The offence committed of this nature is liable to conviction for 7 years of regorous imprisonment, extendable to life imprisionment.
                                  Don't weep or cry like a child. Be brave and dare to file criminal FIR against such scammers.

                                  I had ordered for a reebok sun glass through on line shopping from Bag It Today Group vide Billing Id[protected] dated 26 May 10. I was intimated that the ordered was returned back due to wrong address on 11 Jun 10. Whereas the address given by me is 100% correct and also I was not contacted over telephone/mobile before returning the order. Further on 14 Jun 10, I contacted customer care regarding the same and was assured that the order will be re-despatched within 10 days. After a week again I contacted and got the same answer. Again after 10 days I contacted to customer care and got the same answer stating that the order is in re-processing mode and will be despached within 10 days. Such type of replies are continueing till date and I have not received the item. In between I contacted customer care at[protected] so many times and also sent e-mail regarding this. But each time I get the answer that the item will be dispatched soon.

                                  I received a call from Bag It Today Tel no - [protected] stating that i was one of the 15 people to be selected today for either a cash back of Rs.30,000 or 8-10 diamonds. I ordered a product samsung handy cam worth Rs.11398/- under booking id no[protected] & duly paid shipping cost of Rs.899 vide booking id no.[protected]. i was later informed that i was successfully eligible for (a)cash back of Rs.1 lakh payable by Demand draft & (b) 28-40 diamonds by the computer draw & there would be no further requirements needed to be fulfilled excepting purchase of any one pack from your end .I made my calculations along with the executive that i will only have to spend around Rs.49000 while i am getting back Rs.1,00,000 along with diamonds and I chose the Samsung TV pack costing Rs.32900 under booking id[protected] & paid the shipping cost of Rs.1750 under booking id no.[protected]. After these formalities I got a call from an executive named deepa that after putting my booking id no.[protected] i was eligible for 8 diamond pieces worth Rs.5000. I was shocked . I am not a fool to pay Rs.50,000 for getting free gift worth Rs.5000. I informed her that i already had won a cash back of Rs.1 lakh then why the draw again? She started to evade my questions & told me that she would get back to me. I have not yet got any reply back so far.
                                  I am shocked as to why do companies of your reputation stoop down to such gutter level and resort to day light cheating of people for some few thousands of rupees & lose your reputation. I am a regular subscriber of many India Today publications & just cannot believe that India Today has become so cheap for sake of some little money.
                                  You are requested to cancel my orders & refund the amount to my credit card account immediately else i shall be forced to take legal action against your company for cheating innocent people like me by giving misleading facts & promises.

                                  I am Xavier.K.Thomas, from Chandigarh, an ill fated customer as the many others who have placed order for the products which you never had in stock. I had placed an order for one Sony Ericsson mobile phone. Along with the phone, I was told that I will be given some diamonds free. Just because of the diamonds, I placed the order for the phone!!!. Exactly the way you wanted the people like me to be trapped. On 2nd of November an amount of Rs. 15699 was transferred from my account through my Credit Card. My Order no. Is TELESALES/0GA[protected]and my booking ID is[protected]. After 15 days casually I rang up the customer care to find out the status of my order, I GOT SHOCKED “Sir, you have not placed any order with us. Will you please ring up our customer care please?” To my surprise I was talking to the customer care only. Anyhow I rang up again and gave my details. I was told that my order stood cancelled. Reason that my money was transferred to some other department. So you have to wait for 21 days from today to get your money back. They neither informed the concerned department nor the customer till I rang up. The most efficient staff. Since I made the call, at least they came to know that my order is cancelled. And given an assurance that I will be informed about the reason why the order was cancelled. Till then that money is with great people.
                                  So please don’t cheat people like this. I was a reader of yours’. Now after this experience and going through the Consumer Complaints, I really feel pity for your organisation. This is not a decent way to make money.                                   This is a one more cheating complaint against Bag it today , I have paid 2098/- (Booking ID :[protected] from my credit card through IVR system on 29/09/2010 but still I have not received my products .

                                  I am sorry to say but Bag it today services is really need the big improvements, after registering more then 20 complaints through Email , Phone and on web site , I have not received a single response from Bag it today. Every day I am receiving many calls from marketing team for sales offers but no one is ready to give me a satisfactory answer regarding my previous order .
                                  On 28/09/10 I was trying to make the payment through net banking, but to some problem in Bag it today web site, I could not make the payments. On 29/09/10 one of bag it todays tale executive has called me and take payments of Rs. 2098/- through phone banking payment system by my credit card , against Sansui DVD Player + pen worth 2999/- (offer on order before 31st october2010) + Holi day package + Reebok Sipper . After payment executive had confirmed me these 4 products.

                                  Bag It Today — Order not received even after 45 days

                                  I placed the order on Nov 21, 2010, order ID: [protected]. It has been over a month and the order is yet to be delivered. On top of it I have called 6 times, of which,

                                  3 times your systems were not working so the executive could not give me the status.
                                  2 times the executive could not trace the order in systems
                                  Once the executive asked me to get the transaction code from my credit card company.

                                  This was after he had my order number, name, e-mail address and phone number. This is the worst experience ever and the most disgusting and pathetic service
                                  Yes, I agree to this. Bagittoday is in the business of cheating and acting fraud. By taking orders online, getting the amount collected and then not despatching the article is their USP. They must have collected millions of rupees in this manner. Very few guys are able to contact them once the amount is debited in their bank or credit card as no one from Bagittoday is accessible on mail or phone. They have provided a call centre's number which also they keep on changing. Some influential person must be behind this show. According to my estimate, they must have made more than Rs 1000 crore in last few months by such cheating mechanism. In my case, an order was placed on 29th Nov 2010 and till today no result. Mails sent tp Koel Puri and other senior management personnel of India Today Group are returned as they have placed wrong e mail ids on India Today Site. I really wonder that a India Today group which has renowned channel Aaj Tak and a renowned weekly India Today is involved in such cheating business. But the courier service with which they have the tie up is the worst ever courier service (ARAMEX)... They do not even call people if the delivery is with them... They don, t even call once...when we ask any information, there ARAMEX people do not have any and they hang up the call on customer's face.                                   I tried to book a MP3 player from Bag it today website, but the transaction didnt go through, then i got a call from the customer care that these was some issue in the site( How on earth did they get to know that i tried to book an order?? ), they told me to finish the order through phone, IVR option.                                   I thought I am the only victim of the bagittoday. But I surprised to know that many peoples have been cheated.
                                  On 01.12.2010 somebody called my phone number at around 4 pm and told that he was not sales department and pleased to annouce that I got a prize of Rs 55000/- one of only 3 persons in India. So I eagerly started conversation. That person asked me to pay Rs 5799/- only to buy a pack of some items. He assured me that this was only payment. So I agreed and paid by credit card. ID[protected]
                                  Immedeately after payment another person, started talk to me. He told me that I have to Rs 14998/- to buy a mobile phone. I refused to take. Even I told him that my credit card limit was over. Still that person requested me to pay and on payment only he will generate an Id. After the Id generation, I'll be able to get the prize money. After conversation of more than 45 mins, at last I agreed and paid the amount. He also assured me that this was the last payment. ID[protected]
                                  Again immedeately another person Mr. Nadeem started talking to me and asked me to pay 1799/- for delivery and shipment. Again I refused and told him to cancelled all the order. I didnt need more payment. Then he reduced the amount to Rs 899/-. Again after an argument of 1 hr, finally I paid. ID[protected]
                                  Again after payment some other guy started ofering Reebok Shoe. But he told me that it is not mandatory. I got to know from him that I can cancell the order at the time of confirmation. Thank God. In the very next day around 1 pm one lady called me to confirm the order. I immedeately requested her to cancell ID[protected]. If my prize money will be cancelled in 1 cancellation, then she may cancell whole orders and refund my money. She told me that the money will be refunded only in 21 days time.
                                  Then started my agony. By today I have already cxalled 20-30 times and spend more than Rs 500/- just to get back my money. But everytime these ediot peoples only assuring in 21 days I will get the refund.
                                  Not only that adding to it on 3rd Jan 2011 one guy Mr. Mithlesh from dispatch department again asked me to pay 4100/- to make the delivery and refund faster.
                                  On 13th Jan 2011 I talked to another senior executive Mr Vijay Kumar. He given me again some complain numbers. I given him ultimatum till 30th Jan. If before 30th Jan he / his company bagittoday is not refunding my money then I'll pull the company to the court. Thats it. Today only I saw so many peoples have been victimised. Sure I'll pull them to court. I have all the transaction Ids / order Ids / Auth code of the payments, complain numbers, they have generated. I'll produce at the court. Let the world know these Indiatoday buggers.

                                  Dear SIr / Madam

                                  BAGITTODAY.com regularly sent me e-mails offering various products under huge discounts. Being a shopping website of INDIA TODAY GROUP, I tried to place an order for Luxury Premium Bag on 23rd or 24th December 2010. However, at that time the product was out of stock and subsequently, I received a call from Bag It today on 27th December 2010 asking me to purchase the said bag, if I am interested. Accordingly, they had booked my order for the said bag, made the online payment of Rs. 798/- through my credit card and given my address for delivery. They had given me the order ID no.[protected]. The said order was booked by Ms. Neelam and given me her office number as[protected] for inquiry etc. The delivery was promised to me was 10-12 days time.

                                  However, when the said bag was not deleivered, I started contacting Ms. Neelam at telephone no.[protected]. I have tried to contact her at least for 15 times, out of which I was succeeded only for 3 -4 times and she informed me that the product was despatched, however, she could not procide me the details fof despatch. I have sent 5 emails at cutomer care of bag it today through my yahoo ID as well as through their portal, but they did not care to respond my mail. 2 times their executive also asked me to contact on phone no.[protected] for exact status of my order. During the conversation on the said phone number, I was informed that my said order has not been booked at all and informed me that since I have paid the amount of Rs. 798/-, they will update the same in their database and will despatch the bag in next 10 days time. While Ms. Neelam narrated me some different story about the status of my order.

                                  The apathetic and callous approach of customer care executive of India today, which is known for great customer service in its integral part and commitment, is a matter of serious concern. I failed to understand why the customer is receiving different types of responses from your different executives, while the factual information is available on your database..? and why the despatch of Premium Leather Bag is not happening eventhough the payment of Rs. 798/- had already been done from my credit card on 27th December 2010...? Please note that apart from mental agony, i have also suffered a financial loss of Rs. 798/- and I cannot continue to wait till indefinite period.

                                  I am seeking your help to get my problem resolved by either delivery of the product or refund of my hard earned money.

                                  I HAD ORDERED SOME CHILDREN'S CLOTHING FROM BAG IT TODAY.
                                  THEY ACKNOWLEDGED THE ORDER. THROUGH AN EMAIL.
                                  MY ORDER ID WAS [protected], AMOUNT 1014.00 DATED[protected].
                                  THEY INFORMED DELIVERY IN 2-3 WEEKS AND PROMISED TO INTIMATE ME ABOUT THE DELIVERY.
                                  TO THIS DATE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ITEMS. MY BANK STATEMENT SHOWS THAT MONEY HAS BEEN CREDITED TO THEM. REPEATED PHONE CALLS AND MESSAGES POSTED ON THEIR SITE HAVE NOT LEAD TO ANY FRUITFUL RESULTS.
                                  I REQUEST ALL TO AVOID DEALING WITH THIS BOGUS COMPANY.
                                  I HAVE ORDERED STUFF ONLINE THROUGH SITES LIKE FLIPKART. THEY ARE GENUINE. THIS ONE DOESN'T SEEM TO BE SO.
                                  SHAME ON INDIA TODAY, A REPUTED COMPANY BUT NOW PERPETRATING A FRAUD THROUGH BAG IT TODAY.

                                  Bag It Today / Telemarketing — No Refund on cancellation of Order from Vendor side

                                  Please refere to tele sales order no. order no TELESALES/0GA[protected] Dtd. 08/11/2010 placed on Indiatoday book club. This order was cancelled by vendor due to non availability of goods. Payment was made trough credit card. On cancellation indiatoday book club has to repay this money but till 12.02.2011 the amount of Rs 15699.00 was not refunded. Some fake mails about refund of money was also sent to me but after inquiry with bank it was found that Bag it today has not refunded the amount.

                                  I ordered for a product with order No.[protected]. I have sent several mails and have called their helpline several times. They have not responded the mail and the call center executive has the same answer every time.

                                  They are not delivering the product nor they are returning my money.

                                  This was my first experience with Bag it Today.
                                  I had face the same problem. they insisted me to go for order and IVR payment.

                                  i have made the payment on 9th Feb11 but the bag for my orders, i made close to 15 calls but everyime they said that your order is not yet update.

                                  miscommunication and not giving clear update of order to customer.

                                  I am registering police complain against Pinkesh jain and giving the all ther record the media.

                                  Bag It Today — Product not received after 45 days

                                  I booked my order on bag it today on 5th Jan, 2011 for worth Rs. 548/- I was trying to buy it online and the executive call me on my mobile said the system has problem and enter your credit card details on phone. I followed the instructions and then he gave me the order id as[protected]. After that they said it will take at least 22 days to process the order. After 25 days I have 5-6 times on customer care, they keep telling me that we have rcvd your payment but system has some problem call after 2 days and we will get back to you.
                                  Another day a executive called me and said you order id has won any draw and you get the diamonds for rs 900 of rs 50000 something something. I said I dont want this offer and asked him about my order he said it has been dispatched. Till date it has not received. Their system has been totally made to cheat people and take the money from their pocket and nothing else. This is complete fraud website.

                                  A lot of people have experienced this kind of treatment from Bag It Today. The only possible solution is not to make any online purchase through credit card, instead ask for "Pay ON Delivery". This way you dont lose your money or peace of mind. Make the payment only when you receive the product. Let them feel the heat...

                                    Today I received my gift ( so called)
                                    I was surprised to see the contents of this pack......
                                    The things are noway of the so claimed worth Rs 3999/- . I feel I have been cheated as I was asked to shell out Rs 399 as handling and transport charges. which I am very sure that includes the cost of substandard jewelry. I was told that if I pay by credit card I will be give an extra gift which was never there in the packet .
                                    I know legally you are on strong footing that I cant claim any thing from you as you have provided me free gift.
                                    Dear sir this is a pure cheating which is never expected from India Today group, I doubt if this organization belongs to such a prestigious group. if it really belongs to this group then it is really shame for this organization

                                    I hope that you will stop these malpractices in future. I am sure that I will stop everyone from indulging in shopping from India Today Group. I will keep writing about your organization in different blogs

                                      I have ordered for purchasing the Blackberry Storm 9530 on 24 march2011 via billing id [protected] for total amount Rs 12,298. The delivery period was scheduled within 2 weeks. however when i called up bag it today on 2 April 2011 for knowing the status of my product, to my dismay and surprise their representative told us that the product is not in stock and will take another 21 days. Getting annoyed by the reply and their poor services i asked them to cancel my order and refund the money via complaint No. 109301. Also i mailed my grievance to [protected]@bagittoday on 1.04.2011 for redressing the problem.

                                      But no reply or updation has been received so far. Also no refund has been made. there were several confirmation and promotional calls were coming from bag it today till the time i did not cancelled my order, but since i hav cancelled my order, no mail or call has been received.

                                      I understand that this is a fraud company, cheating its customer by using such false website links nad false promotional products. If they dont have product in stock then why do they take the order and deduct the hard earned money of customers.

                                      Looking forward for the early redressal of my grievance.

                                      I received my Numero Uno watch via order no. 428964 dated[protected] for Rs 399/- (paid via credit card). The delivery was made within 7 days without any follow-up.
                                      They claim that the original price is Rs.2750/-. The box says so too. However, the quality of the product is really bad. The material used for the case, dial, strap, the key used to adjust the hands, all seem to be very cheap quality. The movement also seems to be noisy and not of good quality. It is just as good as a watch bought from foot-path. Not sure if bag-it-today shipped a duplicate/counterfeit watch or the product from the company itself is so bad.

                                        I have made a purchase online with Bagit today on 23feb 2011 for JPearls Jessy Set and made a payment of INR 1529 through my credit card for which i am yet to get delivery. Whenever i call to check status they have provided a complaint number every time and a deadline of 48 hours. No change in status till date. As i have read in other complaints initially they said it was not updated in he system but later said they have marked for express delivery within a week (told to me on 21-mar-2011 complaint ref 92296)

                                        Order booked and payment made - Order cancellation :
                                        Oder number 619354 Booking mail extract below
                                        "Thank you for your order. We wish to inform you that your order has been put under
                                        process with order no TRNPL/DLI/10-11/307635. The order value is Rs. 23999 Order Date is 26-FEB-11 and Activity is TELESALES. You will receive an email and a sms with your despatch details soon."

                                        I had proveded them the authentication code as they were not able to see payment. Based on that they had proceeded with the order . Same day,I had cancelled this order on 23Feb11 during verification call itself looking at the number of complaints filed against Bagit today.
                                        I have checked with my credit card bank they said the Bagit has claimed payment. It has been more than a month no update on the refund and i have even paid my credit card due for this amount.

                                        I have been mailing and calling them for these order numbers and wasting a lot of productive time and money on this. I wold be happy if any solution is provided to me at the earliest.
