ON 18TH OF MARCH 11 I PLACED ORDER FOR DIAMONDS ON LINE WITH BAG IT TODAY AFTER SEEING THEIR MAIL ON MY MAIL ID [protected]@yahoo.com. I MADE PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD AND LATER ON PAID IT TO CITY BANK. ON 25TH I GOT A SMS TELLING THAT THE TRANSACTION HAD FAILED WITHOUT MENTIONING ANY REASON. I SENT MAIL TO THEIR MAIL ADDRESS BUT HAVE GOT NO REPLY. MY MOBILE NUMBER IS [protected] AND ORDER REF. IS [protected]. REQ. TO RETURN MY MONEY. WHY A COMPANY OF INDIA TODAY REPUTE INDULGE IN SUCH THUGGIES.

    BAGITTODAY sales executives are cheating customers with fault information about offers , confirmed prizes etc. which should be stopped and the Fraud-group should be punished as per the legal act.

    I sent frequent follow up mails to Bagittoday ([protected]@bagittoday.com) for the issues which I have faced due to the Bagittoday executives who said that I got a confirmed prizes (1.) 2.55 lakhs & 2.) Car) from computerized random selection list and forced me to purchase 38,000 rupees worth of orders (1. order no. [protected], 2. Order no. [protected] to improve my score so that I would be getting better prizes than mentioned above. All these two orders were purchased on 17th Mar, 2011 on the name of Balachander


    I requested them to cancel these orders and send money back to my account if these offers are not valid.
    No response from [protected]@bagittoday.com since two weeks.


    When I called up customer care, they are saying that they don’t have these offers, but when I contacted the sales persons (Abhimanyu, Nikhil) they said that these information will not available with Customer and BAGITTODAY will be sending order and confirmed prize details to email id which was provided.

    But even after two weeks, I did not get my mail with the same.


    I am summarizing my conversation details which I had with Bagittoday Executive since last Monday (14th Mar 2011).

    1. Abhimanyu from Bagittoday called me on 14th Mar 2011from ( [protected],[protected] and he informed that I am one of the top 5 shortlisted candidates in the Financial Year-end closing contest. And there are only 5 candidates, every candidate will get confirmed get .

    He informed that the draw will be held before mid of April and I will be definitely getting minimum amount of 20,000 or max of 25 lakhs amount.

    But he informed me to purchase 24,999 rupees worth of diamonds (gift -Black berry storm) to improve my score, so that I will be definitely getting 4th prize (Car) at least and max of 25 lakhs.

    He called me 4 to 5 times and mentioned the same thing repeatedly, as I believe Bagittoday I purchased order worth 24,999 amount using my debit card ( saving money).

    After completing the above transaction, I got call from Abhimanyu about order details and contest confirmation details. He transferred his call to Nikhil to explain one more offer. It is a confirmed prize of 2.55 lakhs rupees which is reserved for me.

    He informed me to pay 49,998 rupees towards taxation and flight charges to receive the confirmed prize amount.
    When I asked them to send a mail with the same details they said that computer will send automatic mail once I purchase three product id's.

    As I already purchased 1 order, he informed to to purchase 2 more orders worth 49,998 Rs. And he forced me to arrange entire amount in a single day. I struggled alot to arrange this amount. I purchased one more order worth Rs. 12999 /- (Order ID:[protected] and I was not able to arrange remaining money.

    Again he said that , no need to pay 49,998 now , just pay 10,000 Rs more to purchase one more amount so that I will get confirmed prize of 2.55 lakhs , then I no need to pay any tax for my cash gifts which I will get it in April month.

    But by this time, I did not have any amount left with my Debit and Credit card, I also requested this Bagittoday executive to send my order details and confirmed gift details through mail.
    Nikhil confirmed once again that it will be sent automatically after purchasing 3 orders.

    He provided 3 days more to pay the remaining amount.
    After few hours, he said that As I am not able to purchase another order on the same day , not eligible for 2.55 lakhs cash prize.

    It is just like a preplanned fraud activity done by BAGITTODAY Sales Executives

    There are no word to express how much I struggled because of the above mentioned instances.
    As got call from Bagittoday , I believed these offers.

    Kindly help me out to get my money back.

    BagItToday — Not sending product or money back

    Dear Sir,
    I had placed an order with Bagittoday on 31st may 2010 till now they have not sent my item or money back moreover they are not responding to the mails too and when ever i call to customer care simply they say it is under process soon it will be resolved but no solution if i ask managers or superior number no response so kindly do the needful .

    There is no change in my contact no. it is working fine.

    I was receiving blank calls from Bagittoday.

    Sometimes they are not resposding even after receiving the call.

      Its been more than 2 months, i have submitted their camera at there warehouse in Neb Sarai and as per their representative they will sent my money through DD within 2 weeks but i have not received any thing yet!

      I am keep sending emails to them and also trying to call them but no body is replying. Below is the Email conversation as a proof for my refund.

        I have Ordered MTV Sunglasses on 9th March and filled all the credentials , such as Address, mobile no. etc... after 1 week i called the call center they have given me the Shipment no (Aramex Courier). To my surprise, i found that shipment is delivered to Johrat Assam, while i stay in Mumbai Maharastra, i have clewarly mentioned the address and Mobile no. I called up again they said that , we will resend back to you in proper address and ask to mail to [protected]@bagittoday.com. i have mailed , once, twice.....atleast 5 times to '[protected]@bagittoday.com'; '[protected]@bagittoday.com'; '[protected]@bagittoday.com'; '[protected]@bagittoday.com' ,, but no reply at all.. Call center says they have updated the record and someone will call, but till today one has called or replied......

        Pathetic response from BagitToday... I guess its a fraud... thinking of going to Consumer Court will all the details i have...

        I called up the call center and found that with the shipment, the order is again shipped to Johrat Assam, while i stay in Mumbai. Again, dispatch has gone to wrong address... Very Very Bad... instead of clear communication, it has happened twice...there is no coordination between Customer care and Mail team. i receive the mail from response team, they have assured me that, they will ship it to proper address, but again the same old story !!!

          My name is Mitesh Nandu, resident of Mumbai.

          I was referred about Book My Holidays (Bag It Today) by a friend of mine.

          My friend had suggested my name to become a member of Book My Holidays (Bag It Today).

          I received a call from them & they explained me about their membership & benefits.

          I was happy with the scheme & registered myself being a member with them by paying Rs. 7000 by my Credit Card.

          I suggested around 5 more friends to become a member with them & all of them ended up paying Rs. 7000/ each for becoming the member.

          The scheme was : All booking request made has to be 30 - 45 days in advance (30 Days of
          Advance Notice when booking within India and 45 Days of Advance Notice when
          booking abroad.

          We did the same & now we have no reply from them till date about the confirmation. We tried calling Manish who had offered us the scheme is not coming on Phone & answering the call. ( booking date : 19th March, 2011)

          We called so many times on Customer Services: +[protected], but every time we get a different answer & till date we don’t have any answer on our request.

          We emailed them so many times & also complained about the same, but there is no proper reply from their end.

          Somehow we got Manish on phone & informed that you are not fulfilling your commitments which you had committed & mentioned on email also.

          We also told him that we shall be filing case against you & take your company to consumer court, but he sounded arrogant & challenged us to do whatever you want.

          I am really frustrated calling & emailing them, with no response from their end. I would request you to please take strict action against them & see to it that they do not make other innocent citizens of India fall prey to their devious methods of cheating people with false information.

          I look forward for to your support in solving this issue.

          Book My Holidays (Bag It Today). — They have been cheating customers by wrong information

          Dear Salil Kumar,

          My name is Mitesh Nandu, resident of Mumbai

          I am one of the customer of Book My Holidays (Bag It Today).

          Recently, I really had a bad experience & have been cheated by your Marketing team.

          As per the scheme offered we get a confirmed booking of any of the hotel mentioned in the package if we book 30 days in prior for India & 45 days for International booking.

          We had sent the request 40 days prior to be safe for getting confirmed booking within India.

          Till almost 7 - 8 days there was no response from reservation team. We tried contacting the Marketing person Mr. Manish through whom we had taken our package. He said he will check n get back to us. Still no reply from him.

          We almost called so many times at your customer service ,Marketing team but there was no proper reply from any one.

          Later, I got really angry & yelled on the customer service & Marketing team.

          Finally I got a call from reservation team saying the hotel mentioned by you are full & there is only one option available that is : Royal Palms.

          I informed that we are suppose to choose the hotel we want to stay & we are suppose to get confirm booking anywhere we want to stay if we book before 30 days.

          They informed that the package doesn’t allow you to select the hotel, it’s we who decide where you will stay.

          I really got angry n tried to explain her that the package is we choose the hotel & I also confirmed the same later with the Marketing team.

          Again, reservation team is not agreeing what we are saying & informed that please confirm where we are offering or else you won’t even get booking there.

          I called Manish who gave us package & got wild on him, he said no point talking with me, as you have already paid & if you don’t even choose what we are offering, you shall be losing the same.

          Not only this, I tried to learn the package from several other marketing person, everyone mentioned that you shall get confirm booking as mentioned above.

          This clearly means that your team has been cheating people with wrong information.

          I am already a member & 5 more friends are member with you. I want we get Refund as I am not interested in the package.

          Please be informed that I shall be filling a complaint in CONSUMER COURT for sure if I don’t get my money back, as I really wasted my time n money behind this.

          THis is a complaint about the bag it holidays offered by BOOK MY HOLIDAYS "BAG IT TODAY" .



          1) The time i recived a call i was been told by the sales executive Mr Pradeep that it is not necessary to utilise the voucher at one go . I can have 2 seprate holidays by paying a mere 250 rupees.



          Now that i have recieved the booklet its says that i have to use it at one go only.



          2) Second complaint is that i had been told by him that this voucher is for 4 adults and that i would get 2 rooms or 1 big room which can accomodate 4 adults .



          Now the bookelt that i have recieved mentions that its for 2 adults and 2 chilrens below the age of 18.



          We had kept huge trust on you by paying Rs 7000/- and now i realised its a sales gimmik.


          PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM IT.

            I got a call from Bag it today , saying I have been short listed for New year gift. And I was told that I had to pay Rs 23,9999 and I will be getting Anaira's Diamonds worth 50,000 and a Black Berry storm 2(9520).
            I was made to do a online debit card transaction of Rs 23,999.
            I was told i would be getting these diamonds with GCI certification. I was informed that I would be getting this in 2-3 weeks of time.
            After 4 weeks I got the order,To my surprise i found that diamonds were fake(not worth even 500Rs) with JM logo and [url=http://www.jkmsjewellery.com]Jai Kishan Madhu Sudan Jewellers[/url] that didnt even exist.
            The Black berry mobile was not 9520 and but 9530 outdated model. And the cel was not even getting switched On.

              How about buying a Blackberry phone worth Rs 13K for Rs 6K only? Quite a mouth-watering proposition right?? Well, I had my doubts that the offer is too good to be true, but when a company like India Today was giving me this offer, I blindly went ahead with the offer, only to find out, that indeed, the offer was far from being TRUE.

              To share my grievances in a nut-shell, I ordered for a BLACKBERRY 8830 from BagItToday.com, a shopping portal run by none other than India Today Group on the 4th of March (order no TRNPL/DLI/10-11/342555). When the phone finally came in my hands on the 16th of March, to my UTTER DISBELIEF, I was handed over a phone which didnt have a camera or any ear-phones and a Phone which was totally outdated in nature (this model was released in 2007, which I realised only later)!

              I called up the company's service centre and they have asked me to courier the phone back and have promised to reimburse the money in 21days. But this is just a oral committment and they havent been acknowledging the same through a mail, despite me writing to them multiple times until now. Also, only Blue Dart has agreed to ship a mobile phone for which, they are charging as much as Rs 2200, this is something the Online portal is not ready to bear. Which means, I have to bear shipping charges, which are almost 40% of the cost of the phone! (I'd paid Rs 300 while ordering the phone).

              With the Blackberry-rage around, this company is really going all-out to mislead people in buying an out-dated piece (who's value in today's time would not be more than a couple of grands). I have other business commitments too and I am sick and tired of writing mails and making calls to these lousy people. I not only seek justice, but I also want thousands of naive online customers like me to NOT BE CHEATED by yet another online-scam.

              Looks like India Today's Aaj Tak should consider doing a segment on this. I m wondering if they'll keep looping it as they do it when its bout Kareena and Saif.. May be they should start asking for funds directly instead of duping customers into such gimmick.

              Dude, I would clearly like to disagree with your point here. They clearly mentioned that they are giving away a blackberry 8830. If you had made an ounce of effort to check out the review for it before hand, you would have known its a business phone and therefore no camera. And also they do not disagree with the fact that its a 2007 model. Do your homework before you step out to complain!
              Abhay, I have clearly mentioned in my message that the ad was MISLEADING.. by saying that its a phone is worth Rs 13K, they are suggesting that its a phone that has the features that a 13K phone offers. And who says business phone doesnt come with cameras??? My brother recently bought a Blackberry Curve for Rs 12K, which has a very good camera and is superb in terms of functionality. This phone comes no where near it.. its a bloody piece of junk and I feel duped.

              Ofcourse I will check 10 times, next time I make an online purchase.. but its important for me to raise the voice coz I can lay a bet, 99 out of 100 customers are bound to feel cheated after buying this phone. And that doesnt mean that those 99% customers deserved to be fooled as they didnt check. There has been a breach of trust.

              Bag It Today - India Today Group — Misguide, fake offers

              I had placed an order on 9th April 2011 for a Blackberry Storm 9530 (mobile phone). I received a confirmation call the next morning, promising me that I will receive the product within 2-3 weeks. When I started following up with the BAG IT TODAY telecaller executives, every time I was told with a new story. They finally confirmed the product to be out of stock, also every time I call they say that their senior is out and not in office.
              I have a bad experience from these cheats! I believed their ad in the paper for BB handset 8830, and ordered against credit card payment. They send me a phone in an unsealed box, no papers, and I realized that it was a used, second-hand set! It even had the earlier numbers and sms' in it! Then the same story - I send it back, at my cost, and they didn't accept it!

              It came back, and they promised a pick-up. Then called to tell me, they can't! I am still waiting for a solution.

              Mails to higher authorities, Ms.Sangha and Mr.Chawla have bounced back!

              Utter crooks, lying in their ads, to cheat honest customers. Spread the word - to avoid at all costs!

              I was in the same boat as you but I didnt courier back the phone and instead, kept mailing the higher authorities, media portals, consumer forums, etc. Coz Blue Dart was the only courier ready to ship the phone and that too for Rs 2200. Eventually, des guys buckled under pressure and got the phone shipped from my place to their Delhi office, thru Blue Dart but via their own account. And also credit me the whole amount.

              U can contact Sachit Mehta from Akosha (www.akosha.com) on [protected]. They will send a legal notice on your behalf and try and get you your money back asap.

              Bag It Today - India Today Group — Refund

              Bag It Today is the most fraud online shopping portal. On ordering a product, firstly they will not make timely delivery. After delivery, if the product is not working well, they will get the reverse pickup and not refund the money.
              Customer care executives like Mr.Gautam have not manners and he believes in disconnecting the call rather than solving the complaint.
              Despite of my several reminders and requests, Bag It Today has not yet refunded my money.

              Bag It Today are all a cheaters, I have ordered BB 8830 and the packet I got, didn't had any headset, this is the first time I saw a mobile without headphones. The battery within the mobile is a GREEN COLOR local battery, a big JOKE on blackberry... Are you making fun of customers, making them fool...Trackball stopped working after 1 month, now after talking to customer care they are again making all fun of me, said within 12 days they will replace it, I talked three times within 11 days and every time I was given the same answer, that a person will come to your address and replace it, today is 12th day and they are now saying that it will again take 21 days...

                I had booked 2 holiday packages form India Today Book My Holiday on 20.12.10.

                I have got written mails confirming the payment & booking of 2 holiday packages.

                I received 1 more mail from there wherein they had given details of a referal scheme.

                Accrdingly, through my referances some 14-15 of my friends have also taken the holiday package.

                It has been more than 45 days but I have neither got the gift as per their scheme worst nor is anyone responding to my mails.

                On their board numbers the calss automatically gets disconnected after 2 minutes. If your are lucky to get some one on line he/she will not give you the name or number of seniors.



                This definitely is not expected from an organisation like India Today

                I agree with you. Same thing happend with me also.

                I had requested for booking in last week of march - totally lean season as exams are on for klokata or Raichuk & I DID NOT GET THE BOOKING.

                I ama time share owner for the ast 20 years & I know that 1st March to 10th april is the lowest demand becaus eof exams.

                Now if they cannot give booking for this period then I wonder when they can give.

                i took this offer because it was from India Today group.

                But they are alos treating its customers very shabbily which definitely erodes their goodwill in the market & I will for sure not take up any of their future offers

                      I am receiving spam mails from Bagittoday. I have unsubscribed it many times. I also replied to them saying to stop these emails. But they continue to send those email... How can I stop it.

                      I do not know who owns this company. and every time these emails comes from a different domain. sometimes it is from timesjobs.com and sometimes simplymarry.com and somtimes somethng else....

                      I want to register a complaint and sue this compony in the High court. Is there anyone who can help... I am really tired of this Bagittoday thing....

                          Ordered a pair of Sunglass on the 26/05/2010 from BAG IT TODAY with order no[protected].

                          Payment was confirmed and mail recd stating that the product to be delivered by 4 weeks approx 23rd June 2010.

                          When contacted they told that the product could not be delivered as courier is not able to find the address. This is hard to believe as I have done transactions through companies like Indiatimes, Tradus, Rediff but none came up with this complaint.

                          Secondly the company is taking Rs 299 as delivery charge so I expect that the courier will be a national level courier.

                          Again when contacted, the product was re-dispatched, I asked for the courier name and consignment no, till today they are not able to confirm the same.

                          Now today when I asked for a redund, they denied the request telling that orders cannot be cancelled and I should have patience and wait for some more time.

                          I have seen many people raising questions against this company, a stern action has to be taken against them to stop the customer harassment.

                          Anybody with any IDs or contact no where I can reach for help.

                          I had as back as 1st Dec2010, booked things based on a phone call recd from your end various items for which an amount of Rs. 15499.00 was paid and debited to my credit card also.

                          I recd a SMS on 16th dec 2010 intimating that there is some delay and the order shall be processed in the next 10 days. I rang around 21st Dec wanting to know the status and was informed it may take some more time and by 27th or latest by end of Dec the order shall be processed and delievery effected.

                          Again I checked the status on 30th dec and no positive reply was given. On Sunday 2nd Jan2011 when I called ( around 11am ) I was informed that it may take a further 7 days. This period has since been increasing and since already 33 days had elapsed since making payment, I advised the person to process for cancellation. I asked him as to the no. of days it will take to refund and he mentioned 3 to 4 working days.

                          On 3rd I again wanted to know the status, since on 2nd the person mentioned no senior was available. This time I spoke ( around 1130 hrs ) to the senior person and never mentioned of cancellation. The person first said since the system is down, he cannot tell me the status and shall revert after sometime.

                          No call was recd and again today 4th I called ( around 1130 hrs ) and after not receiving a satisfactory reply from the floor person asked him to put me onto the Senior ( Vijay Kumar ). He mentioned that it will take 7 days to know the status of supply. When I asked him why will it take 7 days he mentioned that this is the time it takes for a mail to go and receive a reply. I asked him regarding refund and he said it takes 21 days to refund.

                          When I have paid in advance then why so much time . He had no answer. Normally when we book tickets and cancel it takes not more than 2 to 3 days for the refund to get credited. Also, no mail has been recd or sent from your end regarding this action and confirming that the refund is being processed.

                          Since I do want the goods the refund should be processed and confirmed by mail at the mail id <[protected]@rediffmail.com> of the amount of Rs. 15499.00 plus interest at 2.5% monthly.
                          I had Purchased a Beverly Hills Polo Club Sunglasses from Bag It Today on 12th December 2010. It has been more than a month and I have not yet received it till now. I have sent them so many emails with the title Online Complaints but have never received a reply. My Billing Id: [protected]. I will be going ahead and giving a police complaint as they seem to be a fraud site.

                          On 15th July 2013, I bought one shoe from Bagittoday, Order No.33103030, for which they said delivery would be done within 5 to 7 days. I made the payment on 15th July through SBI net banking but till today they have not delivered the product nor responded to my request for refund of the money paid to them. Kindly help me to teach this rascals a lesson and let us WARN everybody to STAY AWAY from cheating company like BAGITTODAY, who are cheating people in the name of INDIA TODAY.
                          BEWARE OF BAGITTODAY, BAGITTODAY is a fraud company.

                            it's almost 2 months (28th Jan 2011)since BAGIT today telessales team has called up and informed me that I have been nominated for a freegift of a diamond set, samsung camcorder and philips mp3 player. for which they said that i have to bear only insurance cost of Rs 21300. I had paid Rs.19,199/- by my credit card. due to shortage of funds in my credit card I informed them that I would be making the rest of payment in a couple of days. just a day later I got a call that this diamond pack is just 6 diamonds of 10 cents each and the weight certificate provided by them would be in cents and not in carats, so it is not beneficial and I should go for one more pack to get the actual benefit and the ordered one will hardly attract any value on sale. Sensing some mallicious intention by them, I immediately stopped further payment and cancelled the order and asked for refund.
                            It's almost 50 days since i cancelled the order, every time there are telling 8-9 days for the process. Till date i have not recieved the refund despite repeated requests and reminders for each month i am loosing 1000 Rs to my credit card charges. already 2 months have passed. there seems to be no sign of refund so far.
                            I am appending you the mails i have sent to them for cancellation and refund for your perusal and reference. request you to pls. take this up withem and help me.

                              I have been offered a FREE watch & upon selecting I was asked to pay Rs.399
                              as "handling charges" .Once I paid the money online, I got message
                              saying "You had tried to make a credit card payment for an amount of
                              Rs 399. However, the transaction was unsuccessful". But money has been
                              taken from my account instantly. And no replies for the mail I sent to
                              the IDs mentioned in the site. call center gives another email ID.

                              they dont even have an auto response. finally I mailed complaint to the india today group and some one finally replied saying they will revert in 24hrs...after 3 days they again send a mail saying they need another 14days to refund the money they took from me.

                              The free item with handling charge for Rs.399 is available in other sites for as little as Rs.180.

                                  The ITBC offered Jeeves and Wooster DVDs in their August 2008 issue.
                                  I placed an order for eleven DVDs and my credit card was charged Rs 2640 for the items on 6-Sep-2008.
                                  I did not receive the material. On enquiry in end September and again early October I was promised delivery 'in two weeks' each time. On enquiry on Nov 10 I was informed that the items were out of stock.
                                  Yet in the Nov 10 and 17 issues of India Today the same Group is advertising for the same products!
                                  I am yet to get refund of the amount illegally charged to my Credit card.

                                  I got an email from India today book club on 20 Feb, 2009, wherein they mentioned that I have won a PRIVILEGE Voucher worth Rs 3000 in our computerised system of nomination through e-mail ids.

                                  So I got a bit selfish and one of my friend pampered me to buy that. So I finally made a payment of rupees 2150 on 20th Feb to Living Media India Ltd. DELHI whose online reference no. is 74477489053009381698084.

                                  Now after I booked it, The page which displayed the confirmation was not having the OrderID on it and neither the amount I have paid. And since then I am trying to contact those guys but no one is responing. I tried calling their phone nos. numerous times but either they dont pick up or they put me on hold for 10-15 mins. And then they. "Sorry Sir, we are not able to find your reference".

                                  I have given them my credit card statement which clearly says the money debited into their account. but there is literally no response from those guys.

                                  So I will really suggest that you should never ever take anything from such guys, and if someone has got it I will consider them as Lucky, but remember everyone who is born, is not born with golden spoon. So this can happen to anyone.

                                  I made an online purchase of Rs. 200 in the mid of february month of the last year but i never get its delivery. I contacted this company and their representatives also. But unfortunately i did not get any satisfactory reply. They kept on saying that we have delivered but no body collected the product and hence it was taken back. I requested them that it is not possible. I asked this organization if they ahve any proofs of the same. I wen to local post office and inquired from there also but they said me that there is no such delivery at their side. And even they did not have any receipt also for the same. I called the customer care for number of times and i kept getting reply that they/ concern dept will get back to me which never happened. I wasted lot of time and money. I went to their Delhi office as well but there is nobody to listen to me. I also asked them if they can return my money and again i got the same reply that they will get back to me.                                   I am also the same victim as like you. In my case I was compelled by the ITDC customer care two use my credit card twice for the same booking as because the first transac was not succesful mentioned by the executive of ITDC; Finally ITBC places two orders for the same cutomer name (Ph no also same)!!!. Just simply cheating!!! I made a complain to cancell the lsecond order at the same day (My bank informed me that the transaction was done twice) to ITDC by phone call as well as email also. After few days, passing several mail to them, they adviced to refuse the parcell at the doorstep and after getting the parcell they will make the refund.

                                  Almost 45 day's is over, now they are telling that the parcell yet not rerturned to them!!! Strage!!! It's their duty to find out the matter. Simply they are not refunding the money!!!

                                  Now I have discussed with my lawyer reagrding the matter. I have accumaled all the doccuments and I will send a legal notice to them. Rs.2298 is not a big matter. But I want to see the end. I will claim the amount as well as a compensation of my mental disturbance.

                                  Myself Varsha Rani, got SMSes from ITBC for having a chance to buy Kodak-C-180 on lower price. SMS was then followed by several calls on 30 th September 2009 from thier call center and they pursuaded me to buy this camera. I asked them several times the reason for low price- if it has any defect or reduced features or something else missing but they said,"everything is alright we are just selling it in promotional activity along with some gift vouchers worth Rs. 17000/-" But on delivery of product i got only the camera- with no battery, no charger, no memory card, no gift vouchers, nothing. It's inbuilt memory was not more than 4 snaps. After discussing with them, they agreed to take it back, once they returned the parcel when i dispatched at Neb Sarai office on 28/10/09 and did not accept, then again i sent it to their CP office where the parcel was accepted through a seal(Stamp) on 24th December 2009. Since then i have been just wating my time and phone calls on following them up for my refund but they have been making false commitments telling me some or the other reason for delay. Whevever i call up they will say it will take some more time.

                                      I got an offer by email for a "Gift" , that is the sunglasses at the payment of Rs 399. I made the payment online using my debit card and the Order ID is: [protected]

                                      I did receive a package however the glasses were NOT the one they showed in the offer. It was an entirely different thing.

                                      I spoke to the customer service from Bagittoday and to my horror, was informed there can be nothing that he could do.

                                        I have been writing to india today book club since past one year, but i think its a usual practice with india today book club to cheat and fool peoples, after lodging twice complaint in your website also no action has been taken, it makes me feel that there is no perfect forum wherein the consumer complaints can be resolved, i have been taking this issue since a long time but neither you have interfered nor i have received any satisfactory response from india today book club. they have taken a money from me and sent an empty box, eithet they should refund my money or compenate for the same, if this website is not an effective tool, please suggest an alternate measure.
