I Generally Buy things online and i was very satisfied with the experience of buying things online till the time i ordered this thing from Bag It Today website.
It was the worst expereince till now. I booked a Blackberry 8830 Mobile through the website on 29th March 2011. The amount was charged in my credit card on the same day within 5 minutes of the Order. It was said that i will receive a confirmation SMS or a mail which i had not received. I called the customer care number which is [protected] and i told them about the same. They said that your request is in Process you will receive the details in 48 Hours. I called them after 3 Days becuase till then i had not erceive any details about it. They again asked me to wait for 2-3 Days. They also asked me to send a Scan copy of the Bill. I had sent almost 5 Mails and then I received the Booking Id(11th April) after 12 Days, then they said in total it takes 21 Days for the delivery, 9 Days were left so they said you just have to wait for 9 Days. I called on 18th Day and asked if the Mobile is dispatched. It was still not dispatched becuase of some reason. It was the worst senario because even they were not aware why its not Dispatched?????????

I called again after 5 Days(25th April) this was almost 15th call in 27 Days and they still asked me to wait for 2 days for the confirmation. After waiting for 30 Days they Mailed me that your Booking is confirmed and we will dispatch the mobile in ASAP. After waiting for such a long time I received a message on 36th Day that the mobile is dispacthed. And here is the best thing I expected since 40 Days. Wowwww!!!! I received a Second Hand Mobile!!!! Bloody Hell.... This is the worst thing I would ever expect from anyone. Then AGain I spoke to the cust care. They said "I am sorry about this, please send the mobile back to delhi, we will send a new peace when we receive the mobile. What the ****????


When I asked him when will I receive my New Mobile they said it will take 21 Days from the time we receive the Second hand Mobile which I received!!! Belive me if that person would be next to me I would have ******!!! I dont want the mobile Anymore. I want the Money and the Corrier Charges as well. Now Finally today(11th May) I have sent the Mobile back to Delhi.
Where am I right now? Square 1??? How pathetic. Please dont buy anything from this website and this compnay.

i had made purchase of on 1st April of Rs 559. as per their portal i had waited for 3 to 4 weeks, and i had called on 4th may 2011 and talked with shrita and logged a complaint no 162312. and was being told me that in next 4 to 5 days i will receive my ordered item. after 5 days i had again called on 9th may and talked with Manish Giri and he was told me that stock was not available and its available now and it will received in next 10 to 5 days still i have talked with Mr. Vikas Chaudhari and taken mail id of response team. i had mailed them on the same day but i haven't got revert. complaint no on 9th May was 171321. again today on 10th may i had called with manish and pavan kumar but still i have not getting any revert on mail or not getting any commitment from Bag IT Today..

Hi Friends,
This is Shashank Agarwal ([protected]). The only reason to post this is to make you guys aware about this fraudulent company "Bag It Today (subsidiary of India Today)" and don't suffer the way I did. I initially purchased a Reebok Hexride shoes from the website, after which I started getting calls from them stating that it was company's anniversary celebration going on when I made the purchase, and in the same I have been selected as one of the 5 lucky winners to receive a Blackberry Storm 9530 mobile phone and Anaira Diamonds worth Rs.60,000 for making payment of just Rs.24,999 (against the insurance of the diamonds since they were required to be sent through courier), and this would also qualify me to receive a sure cash prize of minimum of Rs.1,75,000 and maximum of Rs.20,00,000. Initially, I neglected their calls and the offer and wasn't interested at all. So, they gave me option of making the payment, which later within 24 hours they themselves will get it converted into 0% 12months EMI option. So, I made the payment (order number for which is [protected]), and after making the payment I didn't received any calls from them for 3-4 days, and one fine day I again got a call from them stating that I have qualified for the final rounds of lucky draw for which I have to make a payment of Rs.56,999 against Anaira Diamonds worth Rs.90,000 and a Sony Ericsson X8 mobile phone. This time I didn't made any payment and forced them to convert my previous payment of Rs.24,999 into 12months EMI option, which they couldn't and promising to call back again, disconnected. There was no other way to reach out to them than to drop them a mail, I did that, and after 7-8 days of sending them a mail, I got a call from their side enquiring on the issue, and later on came to know that they don't offer any 0% 12months EMI option, and promised me to terminate all the executives involved in passing on this information, and since then I never recieved any reply from them, except one mail saying that "it has been confirmed from your end that you have declined the request (you have opted out) of converting the payment into EMI option". After all this happened, I doubted the authenticity of the Diamonds sent by them, and my fear turned out to be true, those were fake diamonds.
Guys please I would request you all to never shop from "BagItToday website", the fraudest of all.

We have booked 4 (four) holiday packages with "Bag It Today" Holiday
Packages Group. We have booked 2 (two) packages on 11th April 2011 and
the order id's are [protected] & [protected]. Our booking id's for the
same are[protected] &[protected] respectively. The respected bookings
are made in the name of Prakash Mulchandani and Adv. Dilip Dani.
Our next booking was made on 12th April 2011 and order id's are
[protected] & [protected]. Whereas booking id's for the same are
[protected] &[protected] repectively. These two id's were also made in
the name of Prakash Mulchandani and Adv. Dilip Dani.
As such we are facing multiple problems after making booking in your
department. Previously before booking we were getting many calls from
you for doing booking from your different executives like Rajat, Diya,
Gupta, Sikendar, etc and we were offered the gifts of Reebok Traveller
Bags, UCB's Sport's Bags, etc.
We having made booking after all the committments that you will
provide us accomadation in 5star hotels at Manali and Dalhousie from
20th May 2011 to 30th May 2011. Till date we are regulary following
all formalities. We have also send the Fill up forms which were
recieved by us. We have send the said 4(four) forms on 25th April 2011
by Overnite Express with 4(Four) Demand Drafts also, each, of Rs. 750
(Seven hundred and fifty only) in the name of Affordable Sales
Promotions Pvt. Ltd.
Till date we have not recieved any complimentary gifts. Moreover we
have not recieved any confirmation regarding that you have recieved
our forms whereas it was clearly written on form that we will recieve
call within 3-4 days after sending forms.
We have tried to contact your executives many times on the numbers
which they have given us while making booking, but we are not getting
any response from them, infact many times they are not picking phones,
and if we contact them they are just giving false assurance to contact
us soon and not contacting.
Now we are so much harrased by your executives that we are now
thinking of lodging a Consumer Complaint as well as Criminal Complaint
of Cheating and Fraud in Courts at Nagpur, if we do not get any
response in two days.
We have relied upon the name of India Today and hence we have done the
booking. We hope that our trust will not be broken and the name of
India Today will not be spoiled.

Dear Sir,

On[protected], i purchased two items worth Rs 45,999/- from bag it today and the details are:

1. Order no-TRNP/DLI/10-11/337797 and value is Rs23999/-
2.Order no-TRNP/DLI/10-11/337807 and value is Rs 21500/-
Both orders are booked in the name of M.Sai Prasanthi.

Bag It Today customer care told me that the order will delivered with in 15-20 days. But, i didn't get anything from bag it today.Even they didn't inform anything regarding this product. On[protected],i called to customer care and they told me that my order has been can celled because of non accessibility of courier service.My order was can celled on[protected]. But I didn't get my refund amount till now. Later i called to them and they told that My refunding process was started on[protected]. But i didnt get that why they took this long process almost one month for starting refunding.After that, i repeatedly called to them and they were telling that It will take 21 days for refunding .Till today,they were telling that i will take 21 days from today onwards.I didn't understand why they are doing like that.On[protected], i called to them regarding my refund status, again they were telling that it will take 1-2 weeks for refunding and refund id numbers are 2123 and 2112 and corresponding complaint number was 163563.

Please help me regarding this issue. I almost lost interest on 45499 INR for last 2 months.At least if my actual amount returns to me,that is more than enough.

India Today is having very good reputation in Indian market, then why they are doing like this, testing customers patience .Why Government is not looking after these many complaints?

Please sir, Because of this, i m not showing my face to my father from last two months. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.

I have ordered for Bata purse and north star watch combo offer on 11 Apr 2011 by billing id [protected] by credit card payment but till date it has not been received by me. I called three times customer care and came to know this order has not been punched. Every time I call them, they make a complain and give me one complain number. I am unable to understand what these people are doing.

this is regarding my bag it today order no 19709 . i had ordered for a converse kit that included a converse wrist watch, converse laptop back pack and converse sunglass and m tv sling bag... but i did not get the converse laptop back pack but a lotto bag... which is not even a laptop bag... bag it today should make it clear what they are offering rather than cheating upon the customers

Sir/Madam, I have booked KARBONN MOBILE from BAGITTODAY on 18th March 2011 by paying Rs.2298/- online thru my Credit Card. I received the confirmation from them stating that "ORDER NO.[protected], Kindly give us 2-3 weeks for processing of your order. You will receive an email and a sms with your dispatch details soon". After one month when I telephoned them on[protected], i got a shocking reply that my house is under non-serviceable...

I recieved a numerouno watch for which I paid cash on delivery around 500 rs!

Not even a month and the watch stopped responding.It does not show the right time it stops and once we push the button hard to set the time it starts working I called up bagitotday. They said it's a free gift and they ask me to show it to a local store and I replaced the battery with new one.

Still the watch do not work.

I had booked a Blackberry 9350 phone on BAG IT TODAY , website for approximately 12,298/- with order number [protected] on . The delivery period committed on the site was 2-3 weeks while as i got the same after almost two months. I though i tried in between many times to get the status of my order via mail and phone but never got a proper update. Now when I have got it , to my surprise the mobile handset was not a new one but a second hand with damaged screen. I connected the customer care center again but they simply refused to help and told me to send the set back to the address mentioned on the invoice where they will check and then send the other one. My problem is that when they have already taken almost 2 months to get this order delivered how much time are they going to take to return the new set back.

Also there was a cash back scheme of 5% against online/ net banking & credit card payment , which was supposed to be be credited in my account with 3-4 days and that too has not been done yet. Their customer care team seems to be totally clueless whenever i ask about this cash back. (See the offer as aatched)

If a group like india today is going to cheat people like this , then they should be punished more than others.

I had a call from the executive Raj[protected],[protected] of Bag it Today on 16 april 2011 that i have wined cash prize of 10 lakhs against my previous puchase of Rs.25000.Claim can be possible only when i place another order of Rs.34999 for taxation.After that they will send me mail containing my cash prize information,they wll take my interiew which will show on AAJTAK. RAJ also give me mobile no. of his senior AMITKUMAR ([protected]) which i tried several times but no use this person never attend the call.I am now helpless

I got a mail from BAGITTODAY (INDIA GROUP) stating that I won a Reebok Watch for free and I just need to pay delivery charges of Rs.399 which I did.
Order Placed on Feb 6, 2011 and they promised to deliver the product to my doorstep with in 14 Days. After a month on March 11, 2011 I enquired for non delivery of the product, they replied me on March 16, 2011 stating that product is not delivered due to "Payment Declined by Customer as per courier department". This is fraud because I was not supposed to make any payment to the courier dept. because I already paid the amount online and I have receipt for the same. I informed them about mistake happened at their end. Again I got a mail on March 24 from BagItToday that they will redispatch the order and assuring me delivery of the product with in 14 days. After waiting for more than a month I mailed them again on April 26, 2011 and asked them to refund my amount i.e. Rs. 399. In respose to the mail they told me that they will not able to refund the amount in any condition and they told me to wait for the product.Please find below the contact details of the company from whom I purchased the product:

I had made a payment of Rs24999/- by debit card for the order no[protected] dated 28/3/2011 for online purchasing of some products due to some false commitments were made over phone to me by sales department regarding shortlisting for some contest to be held in Delhi between April05-04,2011 for which I will surely get a prize of not less than 5 lakhs. For this I will receive call from the indiatoday on March 31,2011.But their order processing/order confirmation department on the same day told that there is no such offer.Immediately I cancelled the order.But even then they processed the order as per the sms I received.I had filed a complaint for cancellation of order at customercare phone[protected] Later , I filed further complaint on 23.04.2011 for cancellation of order. On 27.4.2011 I received a sms on mobile that your order has been processed and you will get your product by Bluedat courier.Then on 27.4.2011 I filed another complaint over phone . After so many complaints the company response is very poor. They are just cheating the people over phone and creating a big doubt in the minds of people for online purchasing. Kindly take some appropriate action in this regard so that I can get my refund on time and a strong action should be taken against such companies and their employees who just to secure their commission or targets fooling the people and hurting the sentiments of buyers

PLease refer to my complaint No. 13916 submitted online to you regarding cheating by ITBC & Aone Foundation Trust, Delhi, both these organisations have cheated me and took a substantial amonut.

In this connection I received a phone call from you (Ph. no. [protected]) enquiring about the incident. After listning to my complaint, your representative informed me that he will look into my complaint and call me back soon, but after 4 long days have passed and I have no more communication with him or any other representative of yours. Moreover when I tried to contact on above number I am unable to do so, as it is not responding.

Please look into the matter and cummunicate to me.

bag it today is a fraud -cheating people
I'm a literate and know difference between original n duplicate products. All the stuff in the summer kit which includes reebok- shoe, bag, t-shirt, watch and mtv aviator goggles are duplicate . I payed rupz 3500 and the stuff i not even of rupz 1500

i want them to refund at least half off my money back my Order ID[protected]

I've placed an order with Bag it today & I got the delivery of numero uno wrist watch-white dial within a week or two which is said to cost rs 2750.It was said that i will get it free of cost as a promo purpose.But when i got it by post i was asked to pay rs 524 as delivery charge.I payed the money and received the product.But when inspected by a professional watch repairer it was found to be of very poor quality and will cost no more than rs 100.I there for want refund of my money.
