This is my story & experience with bag it today (India Today Group)
I have attached the photograph of the shoes shown in ad & the ones delivered .The one the paper cutting is the shoes advertised by bagittoday & the brown color ones are the delivered shoes.
Please do not purchase anything from bag it today. They cheat people by giving ads on net & news papers. They deliver the product that's entirely different from the one they show in the advertisement.They do not even have the courtesy to reply to the mails leave alone calling the customer back. I have been cheated by them & I have mailed the photo graph of shoes they advertised & they finally delivered. I have sent the shoes back & I was promised replacement when I spoke to them but nothing materialized. If the space permits I will post everything here.

Subject: Delivery of different Reebok shoes as compared to the advertisement Regarding.
I had booked bag it today’s Reebok kit by seeing the advertisement in the Kannada daily Sanyukta Karnataka. I have received the kit on[protected] against VPP for Rs3443/-. But I found that the shoes delivered to me are completely different from the ones shown in the advertisement. While taking the order I was told that the shoes delivered would be the same as the ones shown in the advertisement. I am shocked to see this & really surprised that a sister concern of India Today can do like this. This kind of treatment is bound to harm your company’s reputation as well as that of Reebok & India Today (Who claim to uphold the ethics & values of business & that of our great Country India).
Subsequently I talked to your office[protected] with your customer care representative on[protected].I was told to send these shoes back & these shoes would be replaced with the ones shown in the advertisement. I was also assured that the amount I spend on sending these shoes would be reimbursed. I requested for change of shoe size as I require 8 No shoes now & this request was acceded to.
What worries me more is that “Can a company like Bag It Today do like this?” If this is the case then people will stop buying products from such companies & also people will loose trust in the brand “Today”. This affects the very sanctity of India Today Group & could damage its reputation due to negative publicity & negative feedback of customers. This should not be allowed to happen.
This is the concern of a common man like me who is a regular reader of India Today.
I am sending the shoes through professional courier & it costs me Rs200/- I hope you stick to your promise & send me the new shoes shown in the advertisement of 8 number size. Also you will reimburse the cost incurred on sending the shoes back.
Hence do the needful.

The first mail that I sent regarding this was on[protected].
I got confirmation of shoes being received by Bag it Today by calling to[protected]Bag It Today.
So far I have not received the replacement for the shoes that I have sent & nor have I received any communication.
I was provided the complaint number, when I insisted for one (when I called your office) Complaint No:681418. This was given by one Mr:Vikram who also confirmed the receipt of shoes.
Also, only I had to make a call to your office number...[protected] & each time I was made to wait for at least 15 minutes where as you take order through toll free number. It should have been otherway around. The onus of responding to the customer lies with you.
You should at least have had the courtesy to inform me about the status of my complaint either through telephone or else through e mail, leave alone replacing.
It pains me a lot when I think a company like Bag It Today does like this. I am even mere surprised when none of you (addressed in cc) bothered to reply to my mail. Is it what Shri Prabhu Chawla speaks in "Sidhi Bath" or for that matter "Aaj Tak" the brain child of Shri S P Singh preaches.
I have very high regard for Shri Prabhu Chawala, India Today & "Aaj Tak" but I can not understand why everybody is mum on this matter.
I hope you will reply this time & address my complaint this time in order to keep your promise.

I would initiate my own course of action if you do not reply to this mail & you do not know to what extent I can damage you (bag it today). I will expose you through all possible means (inter net forum & Consumer forums). It seems there is no meaning for the word honesty in your dictionary.
