I had got an offer from this company and they were offering a original rebook watch for Rs. 299. After getting the watch it is clear that it is an imitation of reebok and the not the original,moreover the dial glass of watch popped off when within one day. this company is fooling people by advertising that they are offering branded products at heavy discounts ,however in reality the delivered product is an imitation.

You should inform this to Reebok India and get the bagittoday punished for their activities. I too got frustated with their response. I placed an order on 5th Jan and till now I'm getting the response that it is in process and whenever I make them call I will get a usual answer, it will take 10-15 days.
I too ordered for the free gift from bagittoday which cost 299 rs as delivery charges . The watch they showed in the preview was a round one, whereas i received some crap sqare watch which would be available for 100 rs on the streets . Its really disgusting that India Times group is fooling people like this .
I too had recently placed an order for a watch on bagittoday.com. The watch I received was an original, though damaged. After communicating my grievance to bagittoday.com representatives, the problem was rectified. I have been using the services of bagittoday.com quite frequently and find their product quality satisfactory. I would advise you not to let this one bad experience influence you unfavourably.
Ya, I agree with you guys. I ordered a MTV Sunglasses(1 piece) and I just got it today. When I opened the cheap looking courier pack I found that the sunglasses they delivered at my doorstep for which I paid Rs. 500 is not original. Because every branded sunglasses comes with a duster. But this didnt. Even the quality of the sunglasses looks like its hardly 100rs and easily available with street vendors. So I think that India Today group is fooling around people by offering this type of products. So I request that strict action must be taken against this groups.
The response by the bag it today 2 all there complaints is just copy n paste...with the same reply 2 all the complaints...i received my MTV sunglasses after 6 months & the ones i received are fake & not what was shown on the site n confirmed by the telemarketer.
1. I didn't get any bills or genuine certificate or warranty as claimed.
2. There isn't any engravement on the lens or anywhere on the glasses marking its a MTV product...its just golden shades u find on the streets not worth more than 100 bucks for which i had 2 shell out 499 rs.
Bag it today n India today a big fraudulent company.
I mailed as well as called them many times but their has been no reply to mails n customer care is hopeless...15-30 mins they put u on hold n give out no solutions..they just do tp.
original company never gives like this offers and cheap rates, these products are same available in street/footpaths in abids and koti center, people are using internet browsing simply cliking product and thinking they purchasing original product by sitting (FOOLS OF INDIA), recently i saw same this reebok watch in abids area Rs.150/- each. if you purchase 10 pieces then you will get discount also, so people think, this ONLY ONLINE FRAUD

    I was promised for 3nights/4days holiday package with return Air Tickets, while the gift mentions 2 nights holiday.

    Secondly, during the call, there was no information provided about the payment of Rs. 800/- (The demand draft).

    Also I want a confirmation of child age. The document provides info that child upto five yrs old. is allowed without any additional charges. In my case the child is above 5Yrs. Upon confirmation from the caller, I was told that it could be adjusted & that no charges would be required to be payed.

    Kindly send me info on Air Tickets, if required, for child.

    I have already claimed gift online. However I have not received any documents/forms regarding this.

    India Today Book Club — Wrong selling with me

    On 30.07.2009 I have received a call from India today book club, the number was [protected]. He told me about a tour package offer from India today book club. As per him this tour package is including with round air ticket, accommodation in 3 or more star hotel with breakfast and dinner for 3 days and 2 night in anywhere in India, all in just Rs. 2598. Also 12 English books free on this offer. My membership no is ITBC0981262. But after sometime of booking I have received some English books of Rs. 2598(with extra). After log in for free gift I have received same without air ticket. Now they are saying round air ticket is not available in this offer. I booked this offer only for air ticket. This is false way of selling. I have recording of this conversation.
    Now I am planning to return this offer to India today book club. IN any problem I have to take legal action against India today book club.
    If you have any suggestion please tell me.
    I have check in this websie. Allready more than 3000 complains logged against India today book club. Government should take action against him.

    i had registered for a packge of DVD player,sunglasses and a holiday package worth 3498 and a holiday package worth 3198, but instead i recieved a set of books worth 3198 which i never enrolled for, i tried to call the cstomer call no but nobody picks this number.

        1. I had booked a Kodak Camera ( along with free holiday package and to and fro air ticket) against order no.[protected] and paid Rs.5298.00 thru my credit card over the phone on 31.10.09. Though I have received my camera after a lot of followup, I am not able to claim my free gift. Though I am able to login to the gift claim site all the voucher number that they have given there are fraudlent. Even after several emails and telephonic calls nothing has happened. Every time I am asked to try after two days. Till date that is 4.1.2010 their two days have not come. Please some one help me.
        2. I have booked Philips home theater along with three other free gift against order No.[protected] dated 28,11.09 and made the payment of Rs.15196.00 thru my credit card on the phone which I did not receive so far even after a lot of followup. On 22.12.09 I had sent a mail to them to cancel the order and refund the amount which was replied by them on the same day. But so far I have not received my refund.

        I strongly believe that India Today is operating a big scam in the guise of their name. I request you to guide be on the mater and help me recover my money.

        India Today Book Club — Non Compliance of the order placed

        In Accordance with a scheme launched by the India Book Club, Telephone[protected], Two watches were to be supplied under the Winning Entry (Winning Entry ID- gc.[protected]@gmail.com), Privilege Voucher No. A10000 and at a pre-paid price Rs. 3139/ by a Credit Card ( SBI Card). This happened in March, 2009 somewhere. Despite my repeated emails written and calls made, I am told to supply the data. The data supplied in in their computer mremory. Can ant thing be done about them? This Company does not check it own account and continue to harrase the costumer by asking him to supply all kind of infimation. The dilly dallying tactices followed do not speak well of their intentions.

          Respected sir , i have bought a movie voucher scheme from indiatoday club but now whenever i book a ticket by calling on respective number they have provided to book a ticket they dont book my ticket and give some silly excuses . they tell me that they will going to send confirmation on my mobile but i never receive the confirmation so kindly please help.

          sir i have mailed to them , they don't entertain my queries.

          i have bought this movie voucher scheme from indiatoday

          i cant just waste my money on calling the no. thay have provided and increasing my phone bill,
          as they have charged me Rs 588 for this scheme either u solve my problem

The Group had sent a letter dtd 10.2.09 in which it was mentioned that ""Optima Two tone Pair Watch se" will be sent to me as gift. The weekly was sent to me w.e.f March 2009.But the promise still remain as a dream even after sending mail to wecare group ! Please help me

          Rebok Sunglasses — Order not yet received

          Its very unfortunate for me as a customer to have bought a product from your Todayshop .

          Its more than 50 days even after making the payments i have not received my delivery.

          What is more annoying is when we call your customer care number i have to go through agony of holding for 10-12 mins before someone attends, on one occasion i was made to hold for 38 mins (the no is not toll free) .

          Every time a get a same response that the system is under updation hence we cannot give any details . Your officers have taken down my number but have never bothered to give a call back . I have been directed to your senior officers also but then i between they have always terminated the call.

          If you can help me pls revert asap or i will be forced to take legal action.

            i have ordered a rebook travel bag through INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB. paid the full amount but product noot received till date. I tried coustmur care number so many times in last six month but every time they reply it will reach within 15 days but till date I havn't received the product. I complaint through mail also everytime they reply "With reference to your mail, we would like to inform you that your complaint has already been forwarded to our concerned department for same inform kindly provide us some time.". please help to shourtout my problems

            India Today Book Club — order did not received

            i have placed an order for 5 titles in may 07. the amount has been paid by my creidt card vide tran.date 09072007 for rs.1925.but to my surprise i have received only four titles.one title no r0621 is pending.till date i have not received. i have already send my renewal subscription in august 07 but i have not receive any issue from august 07. though i was doing telephone i was not getting line. irrest you to send my mp3 as early as possible and book club issue from august 07.my sub no is itbc 00086406.

            India Today Book Club — Order not received from India Today

            I have placed two orders to India Today Book Club through web. The order nos. are - MITBC-WEB-0550680 dated 10/11/2007 and MITBC-WEB-1552294 dated 20/11/2007.

            But till date no order is reached to me. According to India Today, the order should reach with in 2-3 weeks. But in this case it is already more than 6 weeks.

            I sent 4/5 mails to [protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com, but no reply was received from them. Then I called their office yesterday and came to know that Ms. Vandana Saluja is handling the order. I also got her email id. Then I sent her a mail with all details. But no reply was received from her.

            Is it a service from a reputed company like India Today. I am planning to file a case in kolkata against India Today.

            India Today Book Club (ITBC) — Oder not received

            I have placed and order for Watch through ITBC worth Rs 3199.00 and payment was done through Credit card. This order was placed in month of december 2008 and order no is [protected]. I have folowed up a number of times on their no [protected]. I get the same reply saying that the courior has been sent to you. But it was returned back.
            i have followed up a number of times . I took the consignment no and enquired with TNT couriors. They said tht it has been returned back to ITBC.

            Its has became a round robin game where no one is ready to take responsibilty and give me proper reply . I have spent more than Rs 500 on calls and other tracking.
            Can any one look into this issue so that i get my order at earliest or any suggestions so that it can be esclated to higher level.

            India Today Book Club — Order not received

            over mobile phone ITBC offer to purchase one watch worth Rs.2500/- (approx.) and I accept & payment was done by me through Credit card. I get the same reply saying that the courior has been sent to you. But it was returned back.

            India Today Club — Not received the Goods till date

            I purchased a Reebok Kit which included track suite, bag, Shoes, Hand towel on 01st March 2009 thru their order ID is: MITBC-WEB[protected]. I received a confirmation on 12th April on writing several times to them about my despatch details and another mail stating that my goods have been delivered on 28th March; which actaully have not been received till date. Then I got a mail about despatch details of speed post and that it wasa ctually sent on 28th March... My wait still continues till date.

            Such a response from India Today is really pathetic
            Similar case is with me my membership no is ITBC08596589.my package is said to be send (consignment number [protected] dated on 13-APR-2009 through the DART MAIL COURIER) but so far i have not received it in AGRA.

            India Today Book Club — Product not received

            It’s very intimidating to see a Group like India Today cheating People with false Promises and I am a victim of such similar false promise. My Membership number ITBC[protected] The order value is Rs.3199 and it is almost a month since I have placed the order. The ordered material has not reached me so far. Their customer service executives say that the material has been sent through some Dartmail courier company, which has been not heard at all. They are so careless as as such high value materials are being sent through some unknown courier company.

            Why can’t we put an end to such open fraud carried out by these type of companies?. Why is the government a silent spectator when this type of fraud is happening so openly? I am finding many people commenting and sharing their frustration in such similar website forum and it is disheartening to see no action is being taken by any legal authority.

            I have placed my order on June 22, 2009 for Reebok FitKit with booking ID [protected]. Payment of the order has been completed on June 23, 2009 through HDFC Bank Credit card of total amount INR 3199 due to some technical reasons .

            I have not received my order after a month although it was communicated that I will receive my order within 3 weeks. On calling call center [protected] for the same, they are not able to give the status of my order.

            i had received a call on my cell they offered me a very interesting air travel and 5 star stay package,

                I purchased a holiday Voucher from India today book club on 17th May. The details of this order are below:

                It took their partner firm Premier Sales Promotions Pvt. Ltd 4 months to courier the Promo code to me. So basically the validity of 9 months of the package itself was reduced to 5 months.

                Now since last 1.5 months i am trying to book a holiday stay in Goa from 2nd February till 8th February 2010. But the site doesnot display any options for India itself. If I cant book a holiday 3 months in advance, then the whole purpose of this voucher was to cheat the buyers. I was told there are more than 20 sites in goa to stay. And knowing that december and January are peak seasons, i am trying to book for Februrary.

                Just to test I tried to enter a date in May 2010 for a holiday in India. No locations are displayed.

                When I call ITBC, the call never connects. Twice - I even waited on the phone for over 30 mins.
                The premier sales promotion pvt. ltd office dont seem to care about these difficulties. Their task it seems is to only generate the code.

                This is really frustrating. Basically now i dont have any holiday stay and even my money seems to be gone.

                  On telephonc persuation by Indiatoday book club I booked A digital camera by paying costRs.5298.00
                  Through credit card with the incentive of two air tkt and 2days and 3night hotel stay.
                  I got the camer that too without memory card but nothing other thing in spite of repeated reminders in lieu
                  of that they alwaysshow the cock and bull story.
                  I have come to concluson that this company is PURE FRAUD and would like to give a message to
                  other innocent to BE AWARE FROM THIS TYPE OF FRAUD COMPANIES.

                      When I called to book the tickets to the BIGCITY PROMOTIONS office in bangalore they had some technical problem in their system.

                      Despite of numerous calls and emails I have not booked a single ticket yet.

                      INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB IS A FRAUD WEBSITE AND BIGCITY ARE THERE PARTNERS IN THAT.

                      PLEASE NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ITBC IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR MONEY.

                      If you call Big City for bookings they give their reasons of slot busy and all that crap and finally they say u can avail any one voucher and others not...
                      They have lots of excuses for everything.
                      And their workers attitude is bad..
                      Some lady picked up the call I felt like hitting her.. Idiiot..

At the time of buying the voucher company told me it will be valid for 9 months. I've brought it in August'09. I tried to book and use this coupon several times on site but it doesnt work. First of all I CANT EVEN LOGIN TO USE THIS VOUCHER. When I complained about it several times via emails they didnt even bother to reply me in time. I tried company's customer care number several times I THINK IF I HAVE TRIED AND WAITED THIS MUCH TIME FOR MR.MANMOHAN SINGH PROBABLY HE WOULD APPEARED.                           Dear Sir: Under booking id[protected] and order no. OEA[protected] plus invoice
                          no. ORA[protected] for Rs.2298/- I have received Reebok shoes and track suit, but the promised gift voucher for 3 days/2 nights hotel stay for Rs.5000/- was not received.
                          They simply advised on the invoice that to claim the gift voucher, I should log on to
                          www.bookstoday.in/promos.htm, which I did, but the message comes as `not exist`.
                          An Organization like Indiatoday book club should have transparency in their dealing.
                          I am a senior citizen and would like to say that this organization should be brought to book. In the meanwhile, I request you to help me by approaching this company to

                          It is very true. India times book club giving all kinds of false mails several times, that you have been selected for final sweep stake of 60khs, cars and other gifts items, so customer buys, books on line, where as free gift never comes. I bought sets of novels, with that free holidays vouchers comes, however there is no holidays destinations near to Pune or Mumbai . past 1-2 years, I bought several items, lastly swatch watch, I am not aware its genuine or not, again calls comes today to buy rebock gym kit worth Rs.2599+courier to go in final sweestake. This is not done, they bluff customers to sell their prodcuts and have tie up with othwer compnay's to sell theri products on line. you can never find with any branded compnay's like Tata/Titan/Web side, doing that. Books whioch are not sold in sotres they try to push making people fool.

                            I had exchange many e-mails with your customer care, but it seems no one is bother to look in to the matter.

                                I have been facing severe difficulties in realising a holiday voucher purchased from India Today Book Club in acceptance of their promo offering the same to me via SMS.

                                Copy of my mails on the subject giving all facts is pasted below.

                                Your email address was provided to me by India Today Book Club on my request. I am mailing you to apprise you of details of my pending
                                holiday stay voucher (for realization of which I have had to take considerable pains thus far without success) to request you to assist me in completing the required procedures such that I may be able to make good on my investment by availing the holiday I set out to gain.

                                Please refer my trailing mails.

                                I did not receive the promotional code to enable me to do bookings by 11 Nov (as promised on telephone to me by your customer care executive). Consequently, I proceeded to the Philippines for my holiday after making my arrangements without being able to realize my holiday voucher purchased from India Today Book Club.

                                I have now returned to India and find that the promotional code has still not been delivered to us. Accordingly, I spoke to your customer care executive at 4:28 PM today and she assured me that she will ask your dispatch department to send me the promotional code by email today itself. I also requested her to check with your courier company (through whom, she said, the promotional code had been sent to me in Nov) as to how come the same had not been delivered at my house (and neither, apparently, to you with no non delivery feedback either at your end).

                                Given the fact that considerable time has elapsed, may I further request you to ensure that the validity of the voucher is counted from the day I actually receive the promotional code without which no booking is possible.

                                To be able to express my concerns and obtain feedback based on knowledge and authority beyond the capabilities of customer care representative and supervisor, may I request someone from your management to kindly speak to me on telephone ASAP, today if possible, please.

                                I am faced with the following difficulties in realising the offer:-
                                • In logging in, after filling in the Member No & Web ID, when I press proceed, I get a blank web Page.(See attachments).
                                • We wish to avail the holiday voucher by visiting Philippines to holiday and to witness the Miss Earth International Beauty Pagent in which our daughter is representing India (she is the reigning Miss India Earth).
                                • We desire to do hotel bookings using the Holiday Stay Voucher for stay in Manila & Boracay Bay between 16th & 25th Nov 09 where events are to be held (we will pay for excess days unless there is some option you can suggest). However, when I go to site www.resort-store.com to find the destinations through link ‘search online’ as advised by the person who responded (Ms. Akila) at[protected], I find that I cannot enter any promotional code as required since there is none mentioned on our invoice. Furthermore, when I select country as Philippines, no regions appear in lower text box (see attachment please) and pressing search button returns ‘voucher not found.
                                • While your customer service persons have promised to get back to me on phone on my mobile number for the above, they have not done so.
                                • As such, I find mysel[censored]nable to proceed. I have today sent the voucher code request form to the Bangalore address Premier Sales Promotions Pvt. Ltd., P.O. Box 5042, Bangalore – 560 001 through post. I do hope I get the voucher code soon, else no flights will remain for me to book on. In case Boracay Bay is also not covered in your destinations and I get to know that too late, I may not even get accomodation in the venue of the final event!

                                Kindly advise on how I can realise my Holiday Stay Voucher and make the most of it as outlined/planned. I will also request you to kindly intimate the stay options in Manila, Boracay Bay and any other destitations in the Philippines.

                                I had placed an order for Kodak 9.2 megapixel digital camera & and a holiday voucher/coupon for 3days/2nights stay with veg meals for a couple for Rs.5298/- I have received the digital camera but not the holiday voucher as mentioned. Instead the Invoice mentions that to claim the free holiday voucher gift we have to log on to www.bookstoday.in/promos.htm within 60days of the invoice date but to my surprise the said site does not exist. When the remittance was already credited to India Today Book Club, why the Holiday Voucher was not send alongwith the Kodak digital camera In this scenario, if you are not able to log on to the site, one is sure to loose the holiday voucher. This simply seems to be eyewash. There are already 637 complaints against this company. Has the company ever thought how this in turn going to affect the reputation of the company? It's one kind of cheating.

                                You are requested to look into the matter on priority basis, otherwise the matter will be put forward to Consumer Forum, media coverage and definitely it's going to affect the reputation.

                                d) You don't have a right to know of the status
                                e) Your cell phone / Telephone bill is to cross more than 400/Rs

                                India Today Book Club — Non delivery of holiday voucher

                                On 24th April 2009 I bought a Seven days Holiday voucher for Rs.5943/-. I had paid the above payment by Credit Card (Ref No:201550) and that has reflected on my statement of account dt.01/05/09. The order was confirm with the Order No: OGA90032100. They have promise to deliver the voucher within one week and with that in mind I had plan to go for a holiday in the month of June. When I did not receive the voucher even after two weeks I call up their customer service and I was told that the voucher had already been send and that it has been held up at the courier company. After one month the voucher was still not deliver to me so I call them up again and I also spoke to Mr.Thakur who is supposed to be the Senior Executive and he assured me that I will get it within 7 days. After seven days there is no sign of me getting the voucher and I was getting frustrated because I had plan to go for a holiday in the first week of June and I had already bought a cheap non refundable air ticket for the 4th of June to Mumbai. I call the customer service again and I was told that they have already dispatched by Blue Dart on the 27th April. I call up Blue Dart and I was told that there is no such consignment booked at Blue Dart. I again call the India Today Book Club customer Service and they told me that they will put in a complaint and the matter will be resolve soon. The time came for me to go for a holiday and I am yet to get the voucher so I call them again and asked them to cancel the order and to refund the money and I was told that I will not able to cancel because they have already send the voucher. I explain to them that its been more than a month and I don't need it anymore and once again I was told that this will be resolve soon. I had written several times by email complaining and asking for cancellation and refund but with no success. Till today (after more than a year) there was no response from them.

                                I had spend a considerable amount of money in long distance telephone call by calling their customer service a number of times. Their Toll Free No. is always busy and therefore I had to call on their normal land line No.[protected].
                                This is the second time that I am being cheated by ITBC.They are nothing but cheaters.

                                All are culprits. I think I read most of the compliants and I figured out that I am also a "Victim" of this menace.

                                I do not want to repeat/write the same story again here. I think we need to work on the next steps...I think these guys have duped crores of customers w/ crores of Rs. I really don't know who is taking this forward... I mean the compliants. What is happening to these compliants? Are these just sitting on this site idle? There lakhs of compliants.... I think by this time these guys should have shut/close the business of duping ppl..... If compiants are still pouring in then that means writting these compliants are also not worth. Who has the accountability to fight w/ them?

                                I think we all need to get togother and mobilize ppl to fight this menace and throw them out. Can we get together?

                                  I have subscribed to "INDIA TODAY" for a period of 5 years through a Cheque # 859817(Syndicate Bank,S.D.Road, Secunderabad ).I was assured a free subscription gift- Adidas Outdoor Shoes within 12-14 weeks on commencement of subscription.
                                  But 52 weeks later, there has been no response,reply or intimation of any sort about the free gift.

                                  I have called up the customer care and spoken to Rosaline,Sapna, Rajender, Mohit, Abhishek Singh(executive customer care),Amitabh(executive customer care), at regular intervals.The standard reply i get everytime is "your gift will be dispatched in 2-3, 3-4 weeks time".
                                  I am waiting for more than 1 year, and there is no sign of any free gift coming. Times Group executives..wake up and look into this.

                                  Yes, I completely support this. I am 100% sure that Prevention are capable of making these kinds of frauds. I had taken a 2 yr subscription in the month of Nov 2009. There was a juicer free with the 2yr subscription plan. I tried mailing them several times. Their customer care is pathetic. The call never gets connected. The mailing facility is worse than the call facility. It's like there's a competition as to which service is more pathetic. I get lame answers each time I mail them. Everytime I get an automated response to the mail which says I will get my 'free gift' within 3-4 weeks from the day I receive their mail. It's been 1.5 yrs and i have still not received the gift. If it is dispatched, are the courier companies gulping it down or it's vanishing. Once, I get an automated response saying the above and then I get the response saying that the free gifts are over and that they are arranging one especially for me ( like hell i believe these fraudsters) and then again when I send a firing mail, they send me the same response saying its dispatched and I will be getting the gift within 3-4 weeks.

                                  It's waste of time to go behind these people. Prevention people don't care about their customers. I even mailed the editor-in-chief and I still didn't get any reply. This shows how much they value their customers.

                                  The wise thing to do is take the issue from the magazine stands than to subscribe if you don't want to loose your cool.

                                  It was on 7 june 2010 when I subscribed to this magazine india today which has quite as esteem attached to it , but what I received in return was nothing....my subscription number is ite1889425 or case ID is 2789190....in the initial period I received them on time.....but after 1-2 weeks I was not receiving the issues and so I complained...but I was told that the vendor fell ILL n was not receiving the issues coz of this....what a rubbish answer but then blindly I accepted and after that I received the issues on time for 1-2 weeks again....but then again the same problem....but now it has been three months since I have received the issue....repeated complaints on phone and emails have been in vain and I have full evidence supporting myself....

                                      I bought a holiday package worth Rupees 5944/- from India today book club. Regarding which i received the voucher after 3 months. where in the process to claim it was by sending the form within the voucher to Bangalore on the following address PREMIER SALES PROMOTIONS PVT LTD, PO Box 5042, Bangalore 560001, India. With the phone no[protected] which never works. But 1 day somebody with the name Nalini picked the phone and answered me that i will recieve 1 promocode and website where i have to select the destination and date. but i didnt recieve the promocode for 1 month after which again call was made continuously and again the person with name Ms. Merry recieved the call she gave me the promocode for accesing the website.but when i used it the website showed an pop-up saying your HOLIDAY VOUCHER HAS ALREADY BEEN USED.I was/am daamn frustated by this i dont know what...But want my money back and also want to see these cheaters behind the BAR's / Jail.
                                      Through a telesales, I have paid a sum Rs.3198/- to India Today Book Club (ITBC) on[protected] for a holiday package as follows :

                                      Order Ref. No. OGA[protected].

                                      1) Free Round Trip Air Ticket (from any place in India),
                                      2) Holiday Voucher fro 2 nights & 3 days.

                                      However, even after making this payment almost THREE months back, I have not yet received the neither the Round Trip Air Ticket nor the Holiday Voucher.

                                      I have been in constant touch with India Today Book Club over the telephone and also through e-mails to enquire about the above. On[protected], I made a complaint for refund of my money and I was given the following complaint No. by their Mr. Sarabjit Singh:

                                      He then requested me to send my credit card statement which shows the above debit. I sent an e-mail at the e-mail address given by Mr. Singh i.e. [protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com attaching therewith a scanned copy of my credit card statement requesting them to refund my money immediately.

                                      I followed up my complaint over the phone (#[protected] on following occasions :

                                      On[protected] Spoke with Mr. Adeel of ITBC
                                      On[protected] Spoke with Mr. Sarabjit Singh of ITBC (10:50 to 11:13 hrs.)
                                      On[protected] Spoke with Mr. Sarabjit Singh of ITBC (16:00 to 16:10 hrs.) The line got disconnected. Therefore made another call
                                      On[protected] Spoke with Mr. Amit of ITBC (1612:00 to 16:36 hrs.)
                                      On[protected] Spoke with Mr. Adeel and their Supervisor, Mr. Azeem Khan (11:30 to 11:35 hrs.)
                                      On[protected] Spoke with Mr. Anshu of ITBC (from 14:40 to 14:59 hrs.). He gave me another Complaint No.239783 dt.[protected] saying that no Complaint has so far been registered in their system.

                                      I have also sent ITBC several e-mails requesting them to refund my money. However, there was no response from ITBC side.

                                      I have lost my faith in ITBC returning my money. Therefore, this complaint. Kindly intervene and help me get back my hard-earned money from ITBC.

                                      Below is the complete transcript of the correspondence that I had with INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB.

                                      Going by the trends that I have noticed from the complaints on this site, I am a bit lucky that I got my product as I went to the courier agency to collect the parcel when I came to know from the site of the courier agency that the parcel has been sent back because the address was not found. I knew that they were not coming to my residence.

                                      On receipt of the parcel I applied for the holiday package through the ordinary post as was the requirement for applying the same on[protected], but till date I have not received the Holiday Voucher which they promised would be sent within 10 days from receiving the mail ( I doubt why they ask to be sent through ordinary post so that Indian Telegraph could be blamed by saying they did not receive the application).

                                      as follow up but have not got any response in which I even attached the complete filled form received from India Today Book Club Offer Site.

                                      After about half an hour I received a call again from them from the same number and enquired about the confirmation.By the time I had checked on the configuration of the products which where provided.I was once again told that such kind of order would come once in life span and I should go for it.I got tempted and ordered 2HTC touch phones so that I would get Apple notebook.Also India Today Book Club is from a reputed media house so I trusted them.I was informed that I needed to pay through credit card and two transactions of Rs.19489 would be deducted from it.I was also told that I should go for 3HTC phones as that will give me 52inch LCD Philips television.I controlled my temptation and ordered 2HTC touch phones for which transaction was done through ICICI Credit card.I was told that I had done a good shopping and as a compliment I would be getting two jewellery vouchers .

                                      After ordering with your company I was eager to know the service that you provided.I was shocked to see that your company had been accused on all the costumer issue related site as fraud and that no one should go for their order.I was heart broken and called on the customer care on 1004/2010 to know the status. I was told that I had booked the order on 08/04/2010 the system does not show the details as such and I was given Complaint number-446306.

                                      I again called on 12/02/2010 to know the status.I was told by Mr.Kuldeep that the anniversary offer contains HTC 3G touch phone along with Reebook sunglasses and some kind of holiday vouchers.He informed me that the order did not show any Apple Notebook to be given.I was again given a complaint number-448009.

                                      I am in a state of shock and dismay.I am utterly unsatisfied and feel cheated by Living Media India ltd. held by Mr. Aroon Puri.I require an immediate reaction and proper action.

                                      India Today Book Club — India today book club anniversary fraud

                                      On 08th April,2010 I received a call from India Today Book Club(ph-[protected]) regarding an anniversary that India Today was giving out by Mr. MANOJ.I was told that they would be giving HTC 3G Touch Phone along with Dell Laptop(I dont remember the model number) at Rs.19489.Also I was informed that if I go for two HTCphones I would be getting a Apple MC 226LL/A notebook.I was told that I would be receiving the order in 5 Working days after the order is placed.I enquired about the order type as such kind of offer would mean loss to the company India Today as Apple Laptop was of about Rs.1Lac.How could IndiaToday afford such kind of offer.In reply I was told that India Today had tied up with HTC and Apple Corporation to roll out such offers and as there was no marketing cost involved the company could easily afford it.I said that I had to look for the configuration of the phone as well as the laptop being provided for which I would require an hour.

                                      It has been almost six months since I had placed the order with India Today and about five and a half month since I have registered a complaint of the fraud.I have been tracing the same on phone on regular basis.It is so sad on part of India today group "huge corporate house" not returning my hard earned money.I think they have survived all these years by making illegal offers and duping customers at large.

                                      I request anyone who views this comment must never get involved with them in any transaction or you will cry for rest of your life.

                                        Sir,
                                        I had placed an order from india today book club for a digital camere(canon 10.2 megapixel) with order number M-COMMERCE/0GB[protected] on 8Aug 2009.When delivary made, mentioned parts in the cover, (like, for eg:- memory card, chargeable battery) was not there.So we purchased 2GB memory and a chargeable batterry by spending another rs2000/-

                                        but within one month its flash stopped working and i sent mail to india today.they demanded to courier the defective camera back to their office so that i will be either getting another replcement or refund my money back!!I preferred for the refund my money back(camera price+additional accessory price as india today didn;t make the deliver like memory card and chargeable battery+courier charge).And I couriered the defective part to their Nab Sarai office.

                                        initially india at nab sarai didn;t accept the defective materila.then after making so many phone calls, defective camera was accepted at knaught place office at october 7.

                                        Now almost two months over.. I am not getting any positive feed back from indiatoday office for refunding my money..I need my money back( whtaver i spent for camera+additional accessories+courier charge= near about rs8000/-)

                                        Canon — Cheated the customers

                                        I have purchased a Conon Powershot Camera Model:A480 on this Diwali.I received a gift of 100 free photo prints through a scratch card offered by the company.But when i tried to send the photos i took i came to know that that was a fake advertisement.I was upset that the firm company like Canon cheated its customers.It was totally ridiculous.
                                        We have purchased a Canon Edge Camera(model : EOS450D) on 24th/25th August 2009 from Mumbai. We have used the same for only few days of September. We noticed the problem with the camera while trying to use the same on Diwali(17th Oct) and subsequently the camera was given to the service centre at Kolkata against order no. JS102489 on 19th Oct'09 with the impression that there being a software issue, the repair will be done within 4-5 days as confirmed by the service centre. However, till today(2/11/09), the camera has not been handed over to us and now its being told to us that some parts need to be replaced.
                                        One feels totally frustrated and helpless as one invests a fortune to buy a canon camera and within a few days, the problem starts cropping. Hope the situation gets redressed at the earliest so that we can make good use of the camera.
