I joined the India today book club on 30-aug-09 (invoice date) and payed a total of Rs. 2598, where in which i was subject to get 12 books, a holiday voucher and return air ticket voucher.

It has been more than 3 months but i am have not recieved the holiday voucher, air ticket voucher.
I tried to activate the same though there website but everytime i tried doing it, either website is temporarily unavailable and at times it is under service.

Before becoming the member, i got more than 20 calls from there side and since last three months i have called for more than 20 times to there customer care no. and have put acrossed more tha 20 mails but there executives have misbehaved with me and have even told that " to kya huya agar aapko complimentory gifts nahi mille, books to mill gayi naa".{ what happened that you didnt got the complimentory gifts, you have got the books}

Please advice me on the same.

Refer the subject, I joined the India today book club on 30-aug-09 (invoice date) and payed a total of Rs. 2598, where in which i was subject to get 12 books, a holiday voucher and return air ticket voucher.

It has been more than 20 days that i have recieved the books and i want to avail my holiday and air ticket vouchers as well.
I am trying to activate the same though your website since last couple of weeks but everytime i try doing it, either your website is getting temporarily available and at times it is under service.

Although i have login into "round air ticket voucher" but am unable to do so in "holiday voucher".
I have called at your customer service centre for 3 times and I am very much disappointed with there replies also.
During last call made, i spoke to Mr Amit Kumar and he again gave me the repeated excuse that the server is down and that i have to call back again tomorrow. I asked him to please forward the call to your senior official which he denied and unable to solve my query.
Before becoming the member, i got more than 20 calls from your side and today when i asked to arrange a call to me whenever your server starts, the reply i got " there is no facility to make outbound calls".

Understand there might be few problems persisting in the server and in website but i must be properly adviced about how should i proceed.

Awaiting for your prompt reply.

    Dear sir,

    I am a member (ID no - ITBC[protected] of India Today book club and I have purchased few books and other gift items from them earlier. this is related to one Diwali offer by them (i.e. 3 enclycopedia Cds + Holiday package + Air ticket + 12 books) amount to Rs. 3198/-.

    As per the telecalling executive I have paid for the same offer on 07.10.09,through my ICICI bank card , transaction no - 74477489281019992515860, Living Media India ltd, amount rs. 3198/-

    But till date I have received the CDs and books but no other things as committed with the offer. while contacting their customer care no they just said please write a mail to [protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com, it is already a month no reply has come from them. I have also marked the same mail to their seniors id (including mr. Vivek - ceo of this club) but till date no response.

    Still I am receiving calls from their call center for new offers and when I told them regarding the problem they just bang the receiver and shockingly one has gone to the extent of telling that they did a very good job by not replying to my complain.

    I ahve one more complain against the same group for not receiving a magazine subscribed for two years for which I will file a different complaint to you.

    Please look into the same and help me to sort out this issue.

      Dear sir,

      I have subscribed for a magazine called (GADGETS AND GIZMOS) by India Today Group. the details are

      date - 22.09.09
      Reference No - 74477489265019377645183
      duration - 2 years
      amount - Rs. 1200/- paid through ICICI Bank card.


      It is going to be 3 months I have not received any magazines, complimentary gift committed with the subscriptions pr any mail ofconfirming the receipt of payment, from them.

      Please look into the same and help me to sort out the issue.

      INDIA TODAY WEEKLY MAGAZINE — SUBSCRIPTION GIFT NOT RECEIVED

      Dear Manager, Subscription Dept. LIVING MEDIA LTD.
      I am regular subscriber to INDIA TODAY WEEKLY MAGZINE. As desiered I renewed my suscription (2009) by remitting Rs.975/-Through Credit card. My subscription No-ITE1705554) . It started on 26/01/09 and will be valid upto 18/01/2010. As per ur letter of acknowledgement dated 26/12/2008, my subscription gift( KIT BAG & BRITANICA) will be couriered to me with in 8-10 weeks. It is 3rd week of march and I havent got it till now. Kindly see to it that it reaches me at ur earliest

        I want to inform you that this order was placed along with other order REEBOK SHOE - SIZE 7. The money for these two orders were paid by H.D.F.C. Bank Credit card. I received my first order (REEBOK SHOE- SIZE 7) after around 21 days of placing the order on my address: C/O Mr. Ganesh Prasad Srivastava, 16-NIAZI, JHUNNULAL CHOWK, GHAZIPUR (U.P.) by courier. But my second order (Order No: R0775) was sent through post-office by V. P. P. which should not be the case because the money has already been paid. The postman refused to deliver the parcel as it was sent by V.P.P. and therefore it was returned back. You can verify my address on my mobile no: +91 [protected]. Once again I request you to send my order as early as possible by courier on my same address which was given during order placement.

            India today book club/ Kodak Camera — not delivered actual material, and done froud

            My order no. is 0GB[protected], WEB NO. IS[protected], MENBER SHIP NO. IS ITBC09147605.
            I HAVE RECEIVED A KODAK CAMERA OF 9.2 MP,AND TWO SIMPLE BATTERY.
            I HAVE MADE PAYMENT ON 4TH NOVEMBER 2009OF AMOUNT 5298, AS per ITBC PROMISED FOR KODAK C180, 10.2MP CAMERA WITH 16GB MEMORY CARD, CAMERA STAND, CAMERA COVER,TWO CHARGERABLE BETTERY WITH CHARGER WITH HOLIDAY PACKAGE.BUT I RECEIVE ONLY ONE C160, 9.2MP CAMERA AND TWO BETTERY ONLY.
            this indiatoday book club has cheated me and giving no response to us . i have talked several times to his customercare no. but not a single time he give me correct response. i have several times said to cancel my order but there is no response.

              we had ordered for books &encyclopedia cdsorder no.0GA[protected],9596,97 for a total value of rs3198x4=12,792, dated 19/11/09 which promised us holiday vouchers &return airfare from a certain destination, we recieved the books &cd s but we were not able to claim our holiday voucher from the website www.bookstoday.in/promos.htm "looks like a fake website" . a certain mr rajan had called us up but looks like theres no trace of him ,the helpline never answered on repeated attempts...is india today a cheat
              In the first week of August 09, on telephone offer to avail 2 days and 3 nights holiday in Rs2598/- was made by the company. On further inquiring it was mentioned that due to bulk purchase of Holiday Packages, the company is offering this scheme. The payment was made by credit card on IVR. To my surprise I recieved some books with a bill of Rs2598/- on 12th August 09. It should be noted that on telephone it was never mentioned that I have to purchase books. I have not ordered any books and instead of sending the voucher for Holiday the company has sent books. This is clear breach of contract and the company should be booked under sec 420 of IPC.
              I received a call from the company and was told that if i paid Rs. 7590/- then i will get a 17 inches LCD Philips TV, a home theatre, a DVD player and also will get a travel voucher for 6 days and 7 nights anywhere within India. The transaction was done over IVR and the amount was deducted from my ICICI Bank credit card last month and i have not received the product yet. To my horror i even forgot where did i write down the reference number. So i have talked to ICICI bank and they have asked me to raise a dispute complaint. I have never come across such a cheat like this company. And i agree when someone mentioned that the company should be booked under section 420 of the IPC.

              Living Media India Limited — cheating....

              I have purchased a goods of Rs.3359.00 through VP (postal service). They send me only a shirt, napkin & bag. Actully I have paid for Reebok tracksuit, Shoes & above things. But there is no shoes & track suit in that parcell. They gives add in leading paper "Sakal" from Pune. Please guide me what to do????
              Dear Living Media Head,

              I received a call from your Living Media India Ltd, India Today on 21.11.2009 from your sales person, Subhash Sony with an domestic tour package of Rs.3198.00 from the land line no.[protected]. They have given below details of the package: 1. Accommodation in their listed three/five star hotels for two nights and three days for two adults and one children with food and with round trip air tickets to any place with in India. I received such call for two times earlier and the call received on the above mentioned date was the third.
              The salesman insisted us to take saying that this as last day of the offer. We asked him whether is it true and ethical offer ? then, he replied that it is of India Today's offer and what ever the above said facilities will be arranged if we inform them at least 10 days before the planned tour. Then, we replied him we have two kids and if he can provide total above package to all o[censored]s including the air ticket, we will purchase one package. Then, he has taken the details of our credit card and given one transaction ID, latter even he requested us that if we purchase two such packages he/his company would offer Philiphs DVD for it. Like that he encouraged us to purchase 4 domestic packages. And after this he requested me to purchase one more package of International and said indeed this package is of Rs.25, 000.00 but I would offer this for Rs.5, 943.
              We were asking him again and again that it is not a bluff one no, because all my friends tickets and my ticket were purchased on my credit card only. Again he requested me that if we purchase two such packages they will offer one Home theater and Longiness wrist watch. He mentioned for two domestic packages they will offer one DVD as gift and for two international packages they will offer Home theater and Longiness wrist watch as gifts.
              He mentioned the above as the gifts and they would provide round trip air tickets for two adults and two kids and they would provide two night and three days accommodation in hotel. He finally told that we would receive a verification call after ten hours, as the time lost uptill late night and next day is Sunday I received a call from[protected] on 23.11.20093 at 3 P.M and they denied of providing air tickets for 2+2 and there was a difference in the sales man information and verification people information and we told them we donot want anything and said to cancel all the packages. But, your people debited amount
              of 4 domestic packages and one International package on one card and one International package with transaction id 288143 and an extra amount of Rs. 29, 348.00 has been debited with transaction id 698798 on another card.
              As, we received this call from Living media india today ltd., and the information is not ethical we lost the hope on this and request you to credit total amount to my credit card accounts. Please kindly look in to this at the earliest time. We are writing to you because the bank and the details seen in the view credit card statement are with Living Media India Limited.

              They are Mr. Deepak and Mr.Intiaz they are repeatedly calling and luring with gifts. They have used my credit card no. and withdrawn nearly 30000Rs. I didnt receive any. But one thing I cant understand the amount transfered to LIVING MEDIA A/C. I never expected living media will do so.

                Sub :- Wrong Information offers in Package tour

                Dear Sir,

                With reference to the above subject, I hereby informed that I have purchased Two holiday package voucher for 2N 3D for 2 adults and 2 child below 5 years. Of Rs. 3198/-. Inclusive 1st standard A.C Room in 3 to 5 star property in 61 Destination of India with breakfast and dinner and also offered Air Tickets for all adults and child with no hidden charge or extra taxes etc.,.

                In this conversation I had with ITBC representative (5 times) Mr. Krishna And Sr. Manager Mr. Akash Saxsena of ITBC they said me above package details is true and have no hidden charge or service tax , etc., is applicable . every time they offered me same offer for above package tour and give assurity for air tickets for all adults and childs are free for this package tour and no hidden charge and airport taxes are applicable, on the basis of same I finalized the two package tour on 14/11/2009. with Booking Id No.[protected] and[protected].

                Further, When I call to ITBC on 17th November, 2009 for book more package at that time ITBC costumer care officer mr. Ravindersing said that in this package air tickets are applicable for only one adults and extra charge is applicable for this package. When I heard this I told everything for my booked package . he said me our representative is call to you for same but yet no call is coming from ITBC. further I called two times to ITBC on 18.11.2009 for this but not proper answer given by ITBC representative mr. Sarabjit.

                ITBC is well known and reputed in India, and thier representative miss guide to people for selling the product by any way.

                Further, I hereby informed you that I have called three times to ITBC cust. Care Tele. No.[protected] but yet no reply given by ITBC and also done 5 (FIVE) emaill on 20.11.09,21.11.09,23.11.09,24.1109,02.12.09 to [protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com and [protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com but no answer given by ITBC against my complaints.

                Further said I have a evidence for this package tour conservation with ITBC.

                  Sir,
                  I being at Singapore, on 18.03.2009 courier man delivered a parcel to my father who paid Rs.3199/- in CASH against your Invoice No. ORA[protected] dated 18.03.09 for Rs.3199/- Order No.oga[protected] Loc Id : A Activity: M-Commerce. After coming from Singapore & opening the parcel I found that the Reebok Shoes with size No. 6 Swift LP (Book code R0733) was supplied whereas I had requested for size No. 8. Also Reebok Track Suit supplied was dirty. Overall quality of the goods supplied was also neither up to mark nor satisfying one.
                  I rang up and informed their office all above who advised me to return the whole parcel by courier and also asked me to put the original courier receipt in the parcel so that the amount of courier charges could be refunded. I returned the parcel by DTDC vide Consignment Note No. Z91401779 dated 12.06.09 for Rs.175/- and also sent therein that courier receipt in Original along with my letter stating all above. After several reminders on 08.07..09 courier man brought the parcel but asked us to pay Rs.3199/- before delivery(which we had already paid on 18.03.09). On perusal of the bill attached with the parcel we observed that again shoes with wrong size No.6 was supplied. I rang up their office at 64583745 who asked me to contact at 40502424 but nobody could provide any solution hence the parcel was taken back by their courier man. After reiterated reminders telephonically as well as on mail on 18.09.2009 courier man again came to deliver the parcel who yet again demanded Rs.3199/- before delivery and also to our dismay we could observe from the attached Invoice No.ORA[protected]MC that once again the shoe supplied was of wrong size No.6 & Rs.3199/- collectable was written on the bill. We contacted them at[protected] & 40502424 but all in vein. Once again their courier man took back the parcel. Since even after lapse of more than six months they could not deliver the ordered goods and since we have lost interest and confidence in their organization we requested them to refund Rs.3199/-+Courier charges of Rs.175/- paid by us along with interest, compensation and damages for sending defective goods, for providing deficient services and for causing undue delay , harassment & tension.Despite their several assurances and commitments till date neither we have received the goods nor the refund.

                  Goods delivered was not the same as the order and of less price as per invoice complaint registered on15.4.2008

                  Goods were returned as per as requested by the company and postage was paid by me
                  I have given my delivery address also on 24.4.2008
                  Repeatedly contacted the company over phone and email lost time and telephone charge
                  Service agents became hostile and directed me to so many persons I had to repeat the same story to so many persons
                  they have admitted that they have received my package back but they have not yet sent replacement
                  Their reply is always like:
                  Your valuable association with the India Today Book Club means a lot to us.

                  Assure you of our best possible services always.

                  But they are very harsh when complaints are made. They make me hold the line for a very long time. I am losing time, money and patience.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I had got a call from India Today Book Club on dated 17th Nov 2009 for an offer regarding a Philips home theatre model no. HTS 4750 for rs. 7598/- and will get two free gift items with this product one is Benetton Wrist Watch of rs. 2699/- and another is Holidays Package of Rs. 5000/-. Also they had commited that If you dislike this product or got different product or any damages in the product, you are free to return back the same within one month from the date of delivery of Item and will replace the item or will refund back your money.

                    Then I had placed one order for above said item (Philips Home Theatre model no.: HTS4750) and made payment thru my Barclays Credit Card. Next day again I got a call of India Today Book Club Ececutive with words that we have the same one more product (as above said) and also given the same commitement as they had given earlier. So I again placed the same product and made payment thru my Barclays Credit Card.

                    I got one delivery on dt. 25th Nov 2009 and second delivery on dt. 28th Nov 2009. When I checked the products I found different item no. Philips DVP 3126, an ordinary DVD player and not a Home Theater System with Philips 5.1 Chnl Speaker System and a Rebook Wrist Watch.

                    Then I Called up to the customer care regarding the same on 25th & 26th Nov 2009. They told me to send a mail. So I sent the mail on 27th Nov 2009 but I did not received any response from there side. So I called up again to the customer care for the same on dt 27th Nov 2009 and that time they gave me the complaint no. 240041 saying that they will check the same matter and will revert back you but i did not get any call or any revert of my mail. I called up many times to their customer care on dt 30th Nov 2009 but again not recevied the response.

                    So, I want the action on the above said matter and also want to get back full refund of my money with appropiate compatation amount from the company against this fraud.

                      I am Rajendra Sharma. I received a call regarding Holiday Package from IndiaTodayBookClub on[protected]. Calling executive's name was Arsid and Naved and the number from which I received call, is[protected].

                      I was planing to go to Goa for vacation in the end of December. And suddenly I received call from India Today Book Club. They informed me that they are providing holiday package at very cheep rates.


                      Executive was saying that we are giving you return journey for 2 person any where in India and 2 day 3 nights stay in any 5 star hotel like Leela. And You'll receive a free gift of Nokia Mobile set no 3500 in Just for 5498Rs.


                      I asked to executive many times that why are you giving all these facility in very cheep rates and what is the authenticity of this call. He replied that today we are celebrating anniversary of the ITBC. That's why we are giving this offer, this offer is very limited and all the call made by us are recorded. ITBC has ties-up with all the airline and hotel. So you dont need to worry about it.

                      I asked him that if any extra rupees will be charged from me beyond promised money. He told you do not need to pay a single peny. He was too focused on this line.

                      I told him to send an email of this offer. He told me that I can't send you this email right now. If I'll send now, this mail will go to all other members.

                      Then I told him no problem. I'll take this offer tomorrow. He told me that this offer is only for today. You have to take it before 5pm.

                      Then I told him, How can I believe on you? He replied "you can take my no." and he gave me [protected]. This no belongs to Ravikant.

                      I took the package.

                      I received package but in package they send one nokia mobile no 3500 and a rebook watch. There was no holiday package information or any ticket in the package.

                      When I called on this number, The person "Ravikant" said this number is not belong to Arsid or Naved. This is mine and I am the Team Lead of both of them. They are working under me.

                      I told him about the package then he was saying that you have to call Bangalore Office of ITBC. I called there, they were asking voucher no. But I was not provided any voucher no in the package I received. I asked to Bangalore executive about the package, he was saying that we are giving this holiday offer for only one person and we are giving the basic fare of the journey.


                      Now I am calling Ravi. He is not picking the phone.

                      After hearing that I felt cheated. As ITBC is a really big company and doing this type of fraud. Production of this nokia 3500 has been stoped. They are just selling this out dated phone by making this type of false commitment.

                      I donn't need this phone and the rebook watch. I want my money back.

                      Please do the needful at the earliest as this is very serious matter and sounds more like a fraud and cheat case to me.

                        I have requested for renewal of India Today- English magazine for which I received a formal communication from India Today vide letter dated 27.08.2009.

                        I have been writing to India Today ([protected]@intoday.com) since a month (No.of Emails written = 8 ) and have been receiving wonder assurance that the problem will be solved with two working days which never happend. Further , I am yet to receive my gift also.

                        I am frustrated with the quality of response which believes in writing assurances to customers like me rather than solving the problem.

                        I have now requested for refund of my subscription amount which may please be done.

                          I had booked one 9.2 MP digital Camera with INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB with Offer of Holiday package & Free Air TIcket on 31/10/2009 when a Phone Call From Ms. Megha of INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB came to me and she gave me all the details of KODAK CAMERA & THE OFFERS for an anount of Rs. 5298/-. The BOOKING ID[protected] dated 31/10/09 which ws intimated me on phone .The amount has been deducted from my credit card and till date I hvn't recd. teh Camera. You are requested to kindly look into the matter and do needful towards supply of the same .otherwise refund teh amount deducted form my Credit card.

                            I dont know if this is some kind of a public trick played by IndiaToday Book Club to promote book sales. About two months ago I received a offer to buy "History Of World" and a set of Free books along with. What was appealing was the promise they made to provide Free Air Tickets. Even though I am not a History Buff I purchased the packet completing all their form filling formalities attracted by their offer. The packet arrived duly along with additional books but there was no mention of Free Air Tickets. When I wrote to the email address they provided I got instructions to send a pdf file to a address called "Premier Sales Promotion Pvt Limited, Bangalore" (btw the customer service phone of IT book club at New Delhi NEVER gets answered.). Naively, I filled in all the details and sent the form through post awaiting next steps. Lo and behold, its been a month now and no news about the offer! I must say this is the stupidiest thing I could have done in my life! Neither IT book club nor their fraud promotion company in Bangalore are reachable. Countless emails have been left unanswered.

                            I would like the customer interest forums to take up strongly against the IT book Club and ensure that I get the free offer as promised. I had no other incentive to buy the package they advertised and the books are lying unopened with me. Please help bring this fraud to limelight. The Pdf reference number pertaining to my offer for the Premier sales company is IT18985.

                            Sincere advice - Dont ever get cheated by the white lies being propagated by the IT book club.

                              I got an email in my mail-box...that ,I have been selected for Rs.6000000 sweep-stake by INDIA-TODAY BOOK CLUB.To be eligible for that Rs.6000000 sweep-stake,I was lured in that mail to buy 3 CD-Pack of Encyclopedia Britannica for Rs.574(along with postal charge).IN THAT MAIL ,IT WAS CLEARLY WRITTEN THAT along with those 3 C.D.s -they would provide 2 FREE GIFTS

                              i puechase a 20 CDs pack and at the time of booking the orders i was assured that i will be given free gifts wothe Rs.12260/- or something. i received the dilivery of the CD pack vide invoice no. ORA[protected] dated 07.11.2008. Alongwith the pack i received one instruction leaflet but firstly i was not able to access the site mentioned therein and tha without the proper space and box where i could put th ethings as per instruction. Only in 1st step i coud access the site and the remaining stwps i could not able to perform. i have posted my comments in this regard but no response i got from the company.

                              I have received the movie vouchers but its of no use. Cuz when I called the customer care people to book for a movie they said that I shud pay for 1 ticket & for that 1 ticket will be free.I said that I'l pay for 1 ticket, to my shock they asked my credit card number & also CVV num. When I started blasting that lady after few secs she disconnected the call.After that I tried 3 or 4 times to book the ticket using the Voucher, they said that they'l call me & never turned back. Probably we are duped & the only thing left is to take serious action like filing a FIR.

After some time I received call from India Today that due technical reason my transaction is not completed & I have to do once again & I did through my mobile. Next day I received 2 transaction massage from my credit card bank. Immediate I called to India Today Book Club to cancelled one booking but they instead of cancellation on call you refuse to take Booklet return it back. But my family member accepted both the Booklet.

                              In the month of May 09 I called to redeem the movie voucher but they said seats are not available. Once again I called & this time they accepted my request & said that I will be received call from our side to confirm the transaction with all the detail like seat no. etc. But I did not received a call & then I called at least 2 or 3 time & ask about my request, they said I will sure received a call but till the Show time I did not received a single call from your side. And then I called to India today Book Club & talk with Mr Jitendra Thakur & explain every thing & this time he confirm that this will never happened again with you.

                              One more time I called to redeem the movie voucher but nothing difference. This happened with my more than 3 time.

                              All this I told to Mr Kunal Shah, through email but no response received from him also.

                              In between once I received call from India Today that I can redeem my movie voucher through online booking at bookmyshow.com with winpin no. and they given me winpin no. and I used it. And also told that next time you have to apply for winpin no by sending SMS with voucher no. I did it with the proper procedure, Massage send with Voucher no on [protected] then I called and confirmed the details, they said I will received a call from our side with winpin no. till the show time no call come from your side. Once again I called and ask for the same they replied the same that.






                              In the scenario I feel that the company is cheating with customer. And it seems that your company is not left to me to go the Consumer Court for help.

                              Kinldy look after the matter & do the needful.

                              I did so but there is no provision in the website to claim anything.The whole exercise is a fraud perpetuated on innocent public.

                                  I was offered four books costing Rs 552/ by E mail. By mistake the money was paid to you through credit card by my secretary by mistake ( order No OGA[protected] DATED 29/06/2009), since I already ordered same books by SMS costing Rs 332/(Order No oga[protected]. You sent me SMS confirming my Rs 552/ order. I immediately requested you cancel the order but to my surprise on 3-4 day, a courier came with the packet to be delivered to me.                                     Living media India Ltd. is a fraud company as far as its offers and Free gifts are concerned. I had subscribed for TIME in 2010 and 1 year on, after so many calls and emails, all I get are promises and promises for next 10 to 15 days. They seem to be defrauding every one. Please come under one banner and LETS SUE THEM COLLECTIVELY.

                                      India Today Book Club — Holiday Scheme

                                      I had purchased a holiday voucher from India Today Book Club. In their offer they had assured me of resorts in Greece. After purchaseof the week long holiday, I am unable to view any resort in Greece (this resort is still visible in the intial offer); now India Today is not helping me and I have make normal reservation that will cost be 10 ~ 12 times more. Can someone help pl?

                                      India Today Book Club/Holiday Vouchers — no refund given till date

                                      As Per my conversations with their executive they were supposed to refund me the money for holiday vouchers once all the documents have reasched them. My courier had reached them on july 4th but they say they have not recieved the courier and has not been updated in their system.

                                      I always get the same answer we are working on it even after sending them the POD of the courier company where there is a stamp of the company that the courier has reached them.

                                      luckily i got my voucher after a long long time .. but they had cut cash of 2 vouchers from my credit card ..
                                      i had to argue for the single voucher cash cut and now im still bearing that another voucher as it is waste of money nothing else ..

                                      India Today Book Club / Living Media India Limited — Non Refund of amount towards Holiday Stay Vouchers

                                      I booked holiday stay vouchers an year back on phone and transfered the amount to their account worth Rs.5943. I received the booklet from their bangalore office of Premier Promotion towards the same. Since I did not wanted to avail the said vouchers, i asked for refund. First they said i had to contact the bangalore office for the same, but bangalore office never responded to my mails. Next i started writting to ITBC delhi. They started responding with a stereotype mails. None went into the mails content but dragged the issue for long. Failed to get any response I called them They started asking me to email me the cancellation receipt and what not. I am now fedup with all this. On call their no. [protected], no one bothers to reply back or take the complaint. nor forward the call to any senior person. India today has become bad to worse.

                                      I even cancelled my subscription to Readers digest due to this whole problem in ITBC.

                                      I have ordered for a Samsung Handicam through India Today book club. Along with handicam, other two consignments (contents not known)were also sent to me. But I rejected the items and requested to refund the amount. It is replied that the same is not reached at the office of Living Media India Limited. Also, I was not able to claim the special offer given to me along with the handicam. The site is under repair from[protected] onwards.

                                        I am a subscriber of India Today magazine since last 10 years.After that I have been renewed my subscription for next five years. It was informed me that as a free gift for renewaI of subscription I will receive REEBOK company shoes very soon by the office of India Today.
                                        After several follow-up for this gift, I did not received any kind of such gift. I have again contacted To their office and again they informed me that the perticular size of said shoes are not available.
                                        Again lot of time passed then I received one parcel, well covered and sealed with company stickers.
                                        When I opened this parcel I found Box of adidas for shoes. I opened the box and I found one compact disc and a book but not any kind of shoe.
                                        It is very regretful to say that what is this going on from INDIA TODAY ? or this is only fraud to attract subscribers and if it is like that then it is realy shameful to INDIA TODAY group.
