I guess we have to be little cautious when we buy things using internet services. I had ordered a cake (thruogh India cakes) on 24th April to be delivered in Delhi (paid using internet debit card). It did reached but the top of the cake was spoilt. I brought this to the notice of indiacakes the very next day via their facebook page. They promised that they will deliver the cake again in proper condition. Since then i have sent them mails and called their customer service too..but now they are refusing to resend the cake. I belive if there is a problem like this, the employer should make sure that they amend their mistakes. I am very unhappy with their services.

I had ordered a cake and flowers to be sent to my mother on mother's day. Indiacakes took the money and soon afterwards they showed their true colours:

1. Firstly I was sent no order confirmation e-mail, whereas their website says they'll send a confirmation e-mail for the order. I placed the order on 12 May(to be delivered on 13 May) and got the confirmation email today (15 May). I tried calling but nobody answered the phone on the number given on their website.

2. I spoke to their customer care representative at around 7pm on 13th evening and he assured me that the order will be delivered before 9pm. However, they delivered the order at 10.30 pm on 13th May, and by that time my mother had already slept.

3. After the delivery person left, my mother checked the card attached on flowers, and it had somebody else's name on it!! The cake flavour that she got was also not what I had ordered for. They exchanged orders and did not answer the phone again when we called.

4. After that, I have spoken to their customer care representatives 5 times and sent 2 emails but nothing was done about it. Every customer care representative tells me someBody will get back to me and resolve my problem within half hour but nothing is being done.

INDIACAKES IS A FRAUD WEBSITE THAT TAKES CUSTOMER'S MONEY AND IS NOT ANSWERABLE TO THEM IN ANY WAY! PLEASE DON'T ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY. THEY DELIVERED THE WRONG ORDER, THAT TOO AT 10.30PM AT NIGHT, AND HAVE NOT EVEN BOTHERED TO REPLY TO MY E-MAILS ABOUT IT.

I placed an order at India cakes for a a cake, teddy and flowers for my sister's birthday. They charged me extra for night time delivery because I wanted to surprise her. They charged my paypal account before delivery and never delivered anything. I tried calling them but there is no answer. I emailed them and no answer.
They are a bunch of frauds. Don't ever get involved with such . I want to sue them for spoiling my sister's 18th birhday surprise.

I ordered snap deal of cake and flowers on 10th Feb 2011 which was suppose to be delivered on 14th Feb, 2011. However the same hasn't taken place yet.

Also i wanted to update the address by adding more details on 14th Feb, 2011. I kept trying to call on the phone number provided in their website which is switched off, also i did write a mail to them on [protected]@indiacakes.com mentioning to update the address. However hasn't got any revert. I have been charged Rs 1500 which i have paid through my credit card and now am really worried about it.These type of fraud company should be closed and all suffered consumers should be compensated. This is to bring to your notice that i had a cake delivered to my home through India Cakes http://www.indiacakes.com/
The customer care did chat with me and promised to deliver the cake.But the cake wasnt delivered and i was cheated of almost a thousand bucks..Usually the money is deducted after the delivery has been done but here the money was debited from my account before delivery..The people didnot call me and later i find a mail saying my phone wasnt reachable...both the numbers..while i received several calls the entire day..they had promised to deliver by 7p.m. but when it wasnt done til 8 p.m. i tried calling them but the help line number couldnot be reached. I was very disheartened by the fraudulence and deceit. and would like to bring into notice this kind of fraud websites.First they say my number wasnt reachable and then they say the address wasnt correct and complete.
i would request this website to be marked as spam. and the cheats recognised

Hi, I ordered cake from indiacakes.com which cost 800 Rs including the delivery charges. The cake seems to be looking very nice in the internet, but they ordered the cake from local city bakery for which quality is not good to the paid amount. i called the bakery by phone and asked them the price and i was shocked. it's cost only 180Rs. They are really a big cheat. After getting too much money, simply they are cheating us. Rather than purchasing online, we can simply go to nearby bakery and order it. So i request all consumers not to purchase online especially from indiacakes.com. They are BIG CHEAT.

I had ordered a cake on 5th of August for my girlfriends birthday on 6th of August 2009 from Kolkata using the site India cakes.com which was ro be delivered to Siliguri

They have delivered the cake, however the product shown on the site was nor the same.

I ordered a cake to be delivered for Rs. 800 (US$20) to be delivered on Father's Day to my father in Delhi. I placed the order about two weeks in advance giving them ample time to process the order. They did deliver a cake, but it was rotten and stinking and definitely not the cake we ordered. My sister (who lives with my father) accepted the delivery but when the courier left it was only then they realized how bad it was. She immediately called their Delhi office and asked them to fix the problem. They then proceeded to blame her for accepting the cake and not inspecting it beforehand. Who in their right mind inspects a gift, and a cake at that? We tried to contact the company by email and included our order number and asked them to send a fresh cake (the one we ordered), but we got no response. The company is based in Maharashtra but it has offices in most cities in India as well as in the United States. For a company that does business with people around the world, this is the complete opposite of world class service. This business should be immediately closed before it cheats anyone else. No one by any means should ever order cakes or flowers from them! Buyer beware!

This is in reagards to the above mentioned website & the company which provides the online services for ordering cakes & gifts. This company has made a commitement of delivering the ordered items on the same day & a specific time. When I have called them to get the status about the order (30 mins prior to the given time), the repesentative told me that he will call me in next 10 mins & update the satus....
