Cake Delivery India — Worst service you can ever get

These are the worst people you want to deal with. They do not process your complete order and do not even refund your money. They make all the possible reasons top not refund your money. Not only that after a while their operator (Sarika) stop replying to your messages and calls.

I placed an order for Sep 8 with them and it is October 11 today, no response, nothing done

I ordered 1/2 kg tuffle chocolate cake on 17 Dec.Order no is 80597.Cake delivered was plain cake which was not ordered.Also the message was not displayed on the cake.

Guys india.cakes.com is a fake website . They are cheating people by taking money and not delivering the cake . I have ordered a choclate cake on 2nd july 2021 on my father's birthday rather than delivering the cake they were asking extra 250/- for the delivery charges . I did not give, neither they have deliver the cake .On 3 rd july I requsted them to tell me any cake shop in Delhi /NCR n gurgaon so that I can go n personally collect the cake from the cake shop .they did not tell me any single address in complete delhi/NCR n Gurgaon
So I complained in cyber crime n they returned my 449/-
Cyber crime blocked their account as they were making fool to people by taking their money n not delivering the cake

yes. i ordered a speed delivery for a birthday cake. first they told before 6pm and next 7 pm next 9 pm and 10 pm.
when i asked to cancel the order they were rude.

displayed on your website is Black Forest. I received a rotten bad
smelling cake and that too not a Black Forest. I want to complain
about this matter. Imagine the moment that a husband is presenting
rotten bad smelling cake to wife on her birthday and that too of some
other flavor which we never expected.

When you guys take money from customer you should provide proper
quality. Who will be responsible if someone eats that cake and get
poisoned? This is a 3rd class cheating by you people and absolutely
unprofessional.

The reply which they sent is "we cant replace the cake because you are complaining after two days".

Now, Who the hell is asking them replacement or money back, I am just telling them that, your rotten cake will make someone's life to the dead because it can be poisonous.

India cakes deserve no rating. I simply wanna put them behind bars as they have accepted their fault and still not interested in refundng the money. This is how they earn money. Cheats n frauds is what india cakes is all about. At least refund the money. Horrible people & horrible site. Highly dissapointing by them & want them see suffering. Please sumone should do something against them. We have to do something We cant leave these frauds spoiling others lives like this.

I totally agree to the above comment, they are a big fraud, my order which I placed for Mumbai has not yet been delivered yet, its been more than 24 hours and not only that there USA website usa cakes.com are equally fraudulent, they shipped to wrong person and claims that they have delivered, moreover they always delay in making delivery which is too frustrating.

As per our verification the customer had celebrated their birthday one day in advance and they had cutted Chocolate truffle cake by bringing their own cake, on next day also we had delivered chocolate truffle cake from Monginis Siliguri as per order of sender.

But the required some other flavor of cake and hence was complaining for the cake quality, we had supplied the phone no of the vendor from which cake was delivered but they refused to talk with the vendor.

Then they were forcing us to deliver cake of particular brand, we then took their request and delivered the cake of that particular brand also left the first cake which was delivered with the receiver since they had consumed about 75% of the cake

Even after delivering 2 cakes that too very timely, customer has put a complaint which is false.

cakes are perishable item you should inspect it before accepting . it is as if you so not inspect the things before buying

This person/ org is not even from Bangalore and cannot even propely converse in Kannada & they claim to be from Bangalore...I checked the "local address" on the w/s and found them to be fake.

They had undertaken a delivery for 1/2 a KG eggless cake, along with a bunch of flowers(12 Rosew) for an order palced online which is for the 19th of this month and ditched me at the last moment...I am not someone who devotes to write a complaint...but this attitude is what has pissed me off.

No local florist in bangalore promises Mid-Night Dlivery without extra cost where as, as found out by me operators from other states promise gullible customers like me online.

Nag, i agree with you, i ordered from mumbai cake shop, called them and i asked the sales guy, he said we're operating from kolhapur. Nonetheless all o[censored]s have had bad experiences from Mr manit and unprofessional sales consultants.They are willing to trade reputation for money. They are on sponsored listing, Google should be informed about this.

i agree... i am from New Zealand.. i ordered a choculate truffle cake - eggless from indiacake and had a worst experience. It was my mom's anniversary, as i am so far i used this facility and sent. They showed a awesome round shape cake in website and had sent a local cake from some bakery. It was totally different from website. Not worth 1000 rs. Please take action againt this company. I agree with Padmavati. I had recently placed an order for delivery of cake where they debited Rs 850 to my credit card and did not deliver the cake inspite of the fact that I had placed the order one day in advance. It is 3 days past due date and the cake is still not delivered. The mobile no mentioned in the site is always out of reach and they do not respond to my email sent to them. This company is a fraud company. This company should be dragged to the consumer redressal forrum and asked to shut shop so that many more are saved from being cheated.

The comment made by Padmavati Joshi is totally false, customer had not purchased and time guarantee service and was forcing us to deliver the order before 3 pm, she had also placed an order for non express city Amravati, i myself had spoken with her and she was taking a very very obsessive language as if she had purchased our company. I immediately called my delivery boy at 5:45 Pm and stopped the delivery also the boy had reached the doorsteps of the receiver, i called the sender and told your order is cancelled and amount is refunded back.

Please realized her fault and emailed us again to re-deliver the order, but i requested the delivery boy not to deliver.

We have all proof, voices, recordings, email records of the sender.

Commet made by Prachi Sharma is also false, since her payment was under fraud verification and unless the payment is passed by the Bank we cannot deliver the order, since the payment was not approved till the delivery date of the item, it was not delivered, we have also refunded the amount back to the customer

I agree a 1000%. I had ordered a cake online from www.punecakeshop.com on the 26th of Dec. The delivery was supposed to be on the 28th, however even till 10 PM on the 28th it hadn't been delivered. I tried calling them but couldn't get through. Finally, after a while I got through to this number the guy said that I had to email him. I had emailed even before he had asked me to, that shows how crap their customer service is. Anyway, a while later this guy named manit emailed me back saying that the payment hadn't been processed through so the delivery would be made the following day that is the 29th. And guess what? These fraudsters never delivered the cake. Since the 29th I have been calling but they won't answer because that is what they do. I don't know how I fell for it but I researched on the internet and found more or less similar situations and I cannot even begin to say how disgusted I am. Today is the 2nd of January and they still haven't refunded back my money. I had emailed them the moment I found out about their dirty scam, but they haven't emailed me back.
If they say that the delivery can only be done once the payment's been done, they should have that information on the delivery instead of falsely promoting that they deliver anytime and the delivery can be same day if it has been ordered before 2PM and next day if it has been after 2. Anyway, if they will not refund me back my Rs.1500, I will take it to the media as my bank will be getting involved as well if they do not respond. I will try my hardest to get cheap fraudsters like these what they deserve and I know people who have had the same situations and together we can shut their website down. People like these drag India through mud and all others believe that India is corrupted, but it is only because of people like these. Shame on them!

I would just like to say that I have got my money after two weeks, but to get it was a complete stressful procedure. The customer service needs improvisation as no response from the company causes a lot of stress. Thanks...

I have order the cake on 12th Feb to be delivered on 14th Feb and that was a valentine special cake. Order number is #3023. The phone number on the site which is given is always switched off ..[protected]. SMS to the number is never responded . The email send to me is also not being answered .

If you company cant handle the load and you guys are not at all professional why the hell you waste our time and money. You dont know what is customer satisfaction.

I ordered a cake online from www.indiacakes.com but they didnt deliver the order at first place and then started showing the attitude over the online chat and said that oh its all about the money when i told them to cancel my order and asked them to refund the money.I want a legal action against them and their online site should be marked as an abuse/spam.

Paid 525 for a 1/2 kg pineapple cake which looked great online and the cake that was delivered was of worth 60/70 rs from a local bakery. Also the cake was a blank birthday cake with no name on it. Also, paid 350 for the teddy and the one that was delivered was approximately 100 rs. A total of 875 rs gone waste

I ordered a cake that was worth Rs. 1, 400 (approx US$36) and had one delivered on time but the cake was not the one I ordered. I placed an order for a strawberry torte chocolate cake and got a plain chocolate cake. I emailed the company about this and got no reply. Delivery was great but why charge so much when you can't deliver what the customer orders? And how about responding to the customer's email and providing some kind of explanation for what happened? I understand if the time between the order placement and the delivery was not sufficient to have the "special flavor cake" delivered but that also means that the company provide another cake of equal value or least have the decency to respond to my complaint. If you expect to do business internationally you need have some sort of quality standards in place.

I have placed an order, and that was never delivered to the US address of my relatives in April. Moreover, Mr.Manit from Muffins Cake Shop sent a mail confirming the non-delivery. He confirmed that the money will be refunded back to the card in 10-15 days, now it is over 2 months money has not been credited back to my card.
There were 2 reminders sent, but no-one responded to those mails.
I don't want this thing to get ugly in future, as i have been a regular customer of theirs. I would request Mr.Manit and other officials involved in Muffins Cake shop to take this matter seriously and credit back my money immediately.

I had ordered a cake to be delivered on 10th August 2012, delivery time - 9 p.m. - 12 p.m. My order number was IND#62357. But no body turned up to deliver the cake. I paid extra 200 Rs for night delivery. They turned up next morning when no one was at house to take the cake. Its a pathetic site, poor service. And even after constant reminders they are not even refunding my money. I have not seen this kind of disgusting behavior from any other cake delivery service.

I ordered a Half Kg EGGLESS Black Forest Cake-12 Red Roses Bunch-10 Chocolates for my beloved (Banglore). They had mentioned that delivery time during Valentine’s Day is not guaranteed. I had sent request mail to them to deliver it within that time mention time slot, between 11AM and 9PM. And it was surprise to me they did deliver on time. The product was good quality. I ordered the cakes online at 25th Dec 12. The service was excellent and the pricing is astounding. One of the few cakes shops that both have a website and take orders online via Credit cards, debit cards. They did not have the cakes which was I ordered so they informed me via email and replaced it with another Cake in the same category. The support was very good and I will absolutely use this service again!

I have placed an order 4933 on 10 february 2013 for the delivery on 14 february 2013. As I paid online from my debit card and payment was confirmed by indiacake but there was no delivery and on 15 february the order status shows active . i have sent a e-mail on 15 february 2013 for refund my money as per company 100% refund company policy for non delivery . But there isn't any response from company . I want to file an complaint against indiacake.com as they didn't keep their commitment.

I am in Delhi and a friend of my from Chennai had a birthday. I placed an order of a cake here just a day before the date. They took my order and payment was done. But the cake never got delivered. I waited for the day to over and I called their customer care service number given on their website. I got the automated machine and as I had a complaint about my order, I pressed complaint button. They put me on hold for more than 5 mins and then the call got disconnected for more than couple of times. So I called again and went into new order section. Here they received a call within a second. I tried to explain my situation. But after hearing that I am an unsatisfied customer, they disconnected the call. I am trying to call them every since. But the line busy all the time now. I have lost my money and I dont have single word from them.
This is the reason, Indians do not believe in online shopping. These kinds of websites should be shut down immediately.

We have ordered a 1KG Pineapple cake from India Cakes (www.delhicakeshop.com) for a friend yesterday but the kind of services given by them is disgusting. Though the cake was delivered on time but the cake quality was pathetic. It had the smell of the box and was bitter in taste. I had mailed them stating the concerns :
I have placed an order (order # 12323) yesterday for a 1 KG pineapple cake to Delhi-Uttam Nagar. The cake was delivered before time and was kept in fridge right away but when it was opened @ 10 PM at night, the cake was having the smell of the box and it was bitter in taste.
Since I have paid so much i.e Rs. 900 for a 1KG cake as I have got good reviews about your site, I had expected the cake to be in a good condition.
We tried calling you up by 10 PM yesterday itself but the number : [protected] was switched off and [protected] was busy all the time.
Kindly take the necessary action ASAP and get the cake redelivered to the recipient's address, else reimburse the whole amount back.

But I was very much disappointed with the service in Kolhapur. The worst part is that they have not delivered what we ordered for. I would rather book for a normal cake, if I would have been informed or known the facts of Indiacakes promoting a logo or picture of a political outfit for a kids 1st birthday. Even no order confirmation e-mail, whereas their website says they’ll send a confirmation e-mail for the order, except the additional payment mail for Eggless preparation, After asking repeated call and asking foreggless cake.

I was so disappointed with the service and very much embraced to face my friend and even call him, as it looks like I have been promoting some political party on his son’s birthday.

I live in Dubai and I have been calling customer care almost 3-4 call per day with weird response and keeping me on hold for hours and even and send repeated reminder ask for the explanation on the same!

I have ordered online for cake and flowers from India Cakes Pvt.Ltd vide Order No :[protected] to be delivered at Rourkela on my parent's Marriage Anniversary on 11.05.2016. on 11.05.2016 I personally telephoned to India Cakes at 6 PM and they assured me that it will be delivered by 7 PM. After 7 PM nobody was lifting the telephone.
But very unfortunate that the same was not delivered on the mentioned date, for which I was shocked and demoralized. I will apple in consumer forum for the harassment I got and request everybody not to deal with this unprofessional fraud company.

How I wish I had read the reviews here before ordering from these low life phishing cheats.

Beware, they deducted payment from my account, but never delivered the cake.

Now I will spend my time worth more than their cake to follow up and get a refund.

When I call, it says "we are closed, call back later". No response to emails.

This company is a cheat after so many follow ups with unsupportive & rude customer care excutives who disconnect calls when they dont have any answer, India cake responded to my below mail with following one line statement. I read so many negative feedbacks on FB about and no redressal to them wish i had read them before. I simply want a refund on my purchase and they can take their product back

This mail is regarding the order #[protected] . It brings me sheer disappointment and fury while writing this mail that the service you have provided is awful. Following are the points that forced me to write the above statement.
The gift from nowhere was looking similar to the reference image shown on the website.
The gift was completely shattered and broken. I don’t know whether it was way of packaging or due to being in transit. But first I had to collect all the pieces to make it one single item. All the chocolates, basket, flowers and golden net (used for so called decoration) were going in different directions & were not connected to the basket.
The no. of chocolates were absolutely less compare to the image.
In reference image you used heart shaped chocolates but in reality you used such cheap looking square chocolates.
My boyfriend asked you to include a message with the gift. It was not there. When you don’t include messages what is the use of putting a dialogue box to do so.
Flowers used in the gift were so old.(old is an understatement)
And the Delivery - ughhhhhh it took you on total 12 long days to deliver the gift, when you clearly mentioned it would deliver it in 7-9 days. (however, a discussion has already taken place for the delivery issue and you promised to deliver it, if not the same day but definitely within 3-4 days. Let’s forget 3-4 days you couldn’t stick to your 7-9 days timeline and took forever to deliver the gift).
I have attached the pictures for your reference. Trust me the product is looking way better in these pictures. It was even worst in reality.
So, in short this is how you left no stone unturned to ruin our 9th anniversary.
Now, I really appreciate you looking into this matter on urgent basis. I would Like to have a full refund for this. Nothing else. If you want to take back your product, you may let me know.

This is my order number for delivery cake . I made online payment and cake was not delivered. I did several calls and email for which they did not responded. They asked for extra delivery charges.

In era of e-commerce, this website is doing fraud money making bussness. Many people like are getting trapped by them. This website should be blocked. How could they run this business by fooling people.

Take serious action of fraud against them and Sue them for fraud
