Dear Sirs,
My Indian Bank, Sion Branch, Mumbai - 400 022, Savings Bank A/c #[protected]. My last four digit Global debit card ending # 7717

I had used my ATM Global debit card in the month of July 2010 and ($100) Rs.5, 000/- for online registration with "iForex" dealing with foreign currencies but the same was not accepted by them and returned back in the month of 2nd August 2011.

They gave ARN # 75326101041003949770408 dated 02/08/2011 and said the amount is sent for credit into my account. Several times I spoke to my bankers i.e. Indian Bank, Sion Branch, Mumbai - 400 022, to credit the amount lying in their custody as "Unclaimed", quoting the above ARN # and date but they refused to reply.I also spoke to Mr. Shahid, Accounts Manager with "iForex", and he confirmed that the amount is still not returned by my bankers and they have already received the debit in their bank accounts.

Will the authorities look into the matter and help me to get my money back.

    In Tiruchendur Indian Bank, Except Branch Manager, everybody works nothing...
    I asked for Internet Banking and waiting 3 weeks to get the service & have to walk 5 times for this service...
    till now i asking for transaction password, 10 times i walked to branch & 3 months gone they not gave me that... they simply says it will come on postal . I really disappointed and open a union bank a/c in tuticorin, they served speedly and kindly and gave me internet account,transaction pwd within 2 days and i walk to brank 1 day only...

    I appreciate Union Bank employees for the kind service and Indian Bank manager for whom i not closed my a/c till now...

      I have got the Indian Bank ATM DEBIT Card bearing No.[protected] at Indian Bank, Hosur Branch 4 weeks ago. In this connection I have approached the bank authorities several times to get my ATM PIN. But the officials are not responding properly. I have also sent e mails to the circle office (Dharmapuri) and head office Chennai. Also submitted online Indian Bank customer complaints form for 3 times. No action has been taken. The officials are behaving like anything. I fed up with the ill treatment of the authorities.
      My SB a/c No. is[protected]. Please take necessary action to get my PIN at the earliest without further delay.

        (TO Indian Bank Credit Card section at HO/ Chennai)

        TEXT WHICH WAS SENT ON THEIR e-mail ID on 14.06.11- [protected]@indianbank.co.in >

        Please refer to my telecon on[protected] and my enquiry about the outstanding balance at around 8.00 PM/ 14.06.11.

        Please block My Credit Card Number [protected]. The card is misplaced. I did not have any loss of amount.

        I also request you to re-issue the card immediately.

        This is also brought to your notice, and to the notice of concerned authorities to the rank of DGM and GM of credit card section that when I enquired on the above mentioned telephone number regarding status of my outstanding, the staff took nearly 28 minutes to let me know the outstanding. The time was 8.05 PM to 8.33 PM/ 14.06.11. You can ascertain who was the staff on duty by this time on 14.06.11.

        I noticed the following:
        .
        1. The staff was not courteous.

        2. His voice despite my repeated requests was very low and not properly audible. He was on the line with time-gap intervals without responding, and whenever he spoke, his voice was in such a tone, as if he is hungry for last 48 hours and no energy is there. It looks man doesn't know the communication in English language. My problem was, I do not know Tamil and the person on duty was weak in English and does not know Hindi, perhaps.

        3 He kept holding me just to tell me the outstanding regarding 3 entries nearly 28 minutes for which he was not bothered the customer shall be bearing the cost as it is not toll free number. When first I contacted on toll free no.[protected], the person attending on had given me to contact a direct number as[protected].

        4 If this is 24 X 7 services as is claimed by Indian Bank, the God only would save the Bank for such a filthy attitude and non-performance of the staff. The credit card balance asking is taken nearly half an hour without bothering the customer’s angle and customer’s metered call. This is sheer non-sense.

        I request you to redress the matter immediately and take action against erring staff. Or else I may approach directly to CMD of the Bank quoting every thing. I must receive the reply within 48 hours, I humbly request you.

        I also request you to re-issue the credit card immediately and send me by next tapal without much delay.

          my father went to indian bank to get educational loan for my sister... the bank manager said that he will give loan only when the higher official sanction the loan.. we waited for one year but no response from him.. when ever my father go he is replying the same answer..please consider my complaint and take necessary action to give loan for my sister..

          This is Rufus from Tirunelveli.I am going to do M.Tech in Karunya University.Institution admitted me last week.In my service area Indian Bank, Abisheka patti, MS University is there.My parents are GOVT.Employees.They are willing to give suirity.I talked with Manager Mr.Mohanram for providing loan.He adviced to my parent to take policy at HDFC Standard Insurance.(yearly premium of Rs.50000/-).If we not accept his creteria means, he will not provide loan.I dont know he is a Manager or HDFC Insurance Agent.Kindly take action.

            My name is suriya prakash taken Education loan in 2007 for studies in Indian Bank located in chennai Otteri. I have taken a loan for an amt of INR 1, 35,000.00 where as the interest rate is 14%, but in some Indian bank (Dont want to mention that) the rate of interest is 12% and it is calculated as simple interest. But in indian bank otteri, there are charging the interest rate 14% and they are converting the interest rate in compound. When look in this case.

            I have taken Loan for 1,35,000.00

            I have already paid 37000.00, as a interest, but they had given me a statement from bank to pay a amount of 4700 for 50 Months, where as it comes to 2,35,000.00

            ie, Still i have to pay 2,35,000.00

            Where totally it comes to 2,37,000.00

            Further, the LOAN depatement service people, are not giving me a proper response and they do no how to assist an individual.

            As i have joined in a company, where i am getting a less package and i wil have maintain my family as my dad lost the business.

            Kindly help me out on this Problem, as i am not to concentrate on anthing, my 45% of salary is going on Loan. Please, escalate to Central Govt.

            Most of the Guys from middle Lower family are suffering a lot.

            Please consider, our feelings.

              I have been facing regular problem in day to day basis banking with Indian Bank, Clock Tower branch, Ludhiana. I am having two current accounts in the branch the details are as follows :

              There has been a regular problem of non-payment of local clearing cheques even on the third of clearing. The regular excuse of bank is that they missed the cheque for clearing by chance or lame excuses of staff shortage, forgot in clearing box etc. It has become very difficult to plan our finances. Moreover, have been suffering a lot in terms of financial losses and loss of reputation.

              In a similar incident on 01.06.11. we have deposited a cheque of Rs.48000.00 on 30.05.11 in our account no.[protected]. It was managed somehow that I will get credit of my funds on 01.06.11. and take cash withdrawal to deposit the same in another bank to clear the cheque presented their but due to banks negligence and lethargic attitude the funds were not credited to my account and I have to face financial loss of Rs.5400 by my customer and cheque bouncing charges extra. To the more surprise the bank manager Mr.Sriniwasa Rao was not interested in listening to the complaint at all and was just handing over the phone to its junior.

              This all has actually started only after my refusal of buying gold coins from the bank during Diwali season in 2010. After that the banks attitude towards us has become non-cooperative. We have been regularly facing problem of rejection of cheques without even informing us.

              Requesting to kindly look into the matter and take suitable action against the culprits.

                Respected Sir/Madam,

                I am customer of Indian Bank. I am having my debit maestro card with me from more than last two years.
                Now I want to shop online from this debit card.
                But when I am going to register my debit card with Secure Internet Payment (Verified by VISA on website - https://cardsecurity.enstage.com/ACSWeb/EnrollWeb/IndianBank/main/index.jsp) I am getting the error that the provided debit card number is not valid.I have tried at least for 50 times.

                I have contacted to the Branch where my account is present, but they are not getting. Also, people of customer care tells again and again to go to the Branch where your account is created.

                So, how can I register my card for Secure Internet Payment.

                I am having a/c in thiruvattiyur brance i was applied for online banking, and sms alert. whenever i asked that specific fellow always, saying to come after 4pm. or else asking to come on weekdays... why can't they send password to customer residence via post or courier..

                dont worry. just say ok to it, fill your card number completely and the date details... it will accept. there is something wrong with the application where it says that the number is incorrect. happened with me too... but i carried on with registration and it was successful
                i agree with u sandipa patel ..even i tried lots of tym but nothing happens. it always shows "this card is not valid".. so what i have done is kick off to indian bank and register to icici bank ;) am fully satisfied with it now :)

                  Iam filing it again because I did not get confirmation Email. Thi is a genuine Issue. Please Provide Help!
                  This is a transaction issue I faced when I booked a train ticket for my family in my Fathers Indian bank account.
                  On 5th April 2011. I booked some train tickets in IRCTC Website. One of the Transaction failed at final stage. The amount was debited from my Indian bank account but the ticket was not booked. IRCTC website records, inside my user account says Payment not received from bank. It is almost a month over and the amount was not debited.
                  I enquired at the bank twice regarding this. First time the person handling these Mr. Manohar of Indian Bank Ashok Nagar Branch, Chennai. asked me to give a letter explaining the details of Transaction.
                  When I went with the letter, the next day, without seeing it the same person said “For all online issues you need to send email to pgsupport @billdesk.com”.
                  So, I returned and emailed the issue to pgsupport @billdesk.com. After three conversations back and forth they said that they are not able to track the transaction and said that I need to contact the Bank where I have the account.
                  So, again I went to the Bank and this time to the Manager with all records as I have attached here. The Manager said give it to Mr. Manohar (The same person). I went to the same person and explained him and gave the records of email prints and the transaction details. He was a bit angry saying that what can we do? You need to ask [protected]@billdesk.com . I explained him that “when they are not able to track and asking to contact branch I can come only here” he did not say anything and kept the letter and records aside.
                  He was not cooperative any more and hence I left the bank and asked him when to come, I am sure for name sake he said it may take 1 week. Iam pretty sure he is not going to turn back.
                  I am really frustrated and need your help regarding the issue and need the amount Rs. 1010 and Rs.10 transaction charges back. My home is 1.5 Km from bank and I went to the bank 3 times only for this issue up and down. Internet Browsing for approximately 2 Hrs time which is all for this failed transaction.
                  Sir, If you have any further informations or questions on any details I would be greatly thankful for giving the same.

                  Hello sir... I faced problem on 9/10/20... While doing the transaction via indpay... The had been deducted my account but receiver did not receive the amount and caused payment failure.. Till now the deducted amount doesn't refund my account..

                      Its been a month since I used my Indian bank debit card and when I tried withdrawing money from an ATM, I got a message that my Indian bank debit card has been locked, though I was sure that I had not attempted any wrong PIN at any point of time. I took the issue to the Indian Bank Triplicane Branch (Chennai), where I held my account. I was told that the complaint would not be taken until I brought my pass book. After having getting home all the way on this sunny day and bringing my pass book, I was being routed to a lady staff who, I was told was the 'ATM/debit card incharge' person. The lady (not differing from any other government staff) had her comfortable answer of "I don't know!!"
                      I was ENLIGHTENED by that lady staff that so far nearly 5 people had complained o a similar problem and that she herself did not know when it would be resolved. I was given a stupid advice of 'waiting' till the issue resolves on its own.On the seeing the conversation, the bank manager slips his way out before I could go and complain to him about my problem. After arguing for a while, the ATM in charge lady scorns at me saying "How many times to tell you? Can't you understand? We cant do anything if card is blocked. If you want, come to bank tomorrow morning, withdraw the cash and go"
                      My humble question to the Indian Bank officials is.. How do you employ such ? Is this a response the customer expects from you for the money they have deposited with you? Why should you have ATM section, debit card section, customer complaints section, cabbage section, carrot section when NOTHING could be done by your staff (rather to say, your staff know NOTHING). The Indian Bank Triplicane branch treats the customers as if they have lent us money and we need to beg them each time for our issues. I consider this as a very filthy attitude. I hope the nodal officers at least would be able to help me and I think such unproductive bank staff should be penalized. Needless to say that 'Quality control checks' should be first performed on such lethargic staff of an organisation.

                        I processed for a railway online booking on 20/4/2011, initially every thing went right but in the final step I pressed on 'pay' as asked , and immediately I got the failure message and vanishesd within a second.                           I have a saving account in Indian Bank, Mayur vihar, phase-1 branch. On 13th April'2011 i went to the ATM of Axis bank at Mayur vihar , phase -1 branch for the withdrawal of money.. I tried to withdraw the amount 2 time. first i entered 3500 and then 3000 but it was showing error but when I checked my statement the amount was debited from my account. I request you to kindly take prompt action in the matter and credit the said amount to my above mentioned account at the earliest. Also please reply me on my e-mail [protected]@gmail.com

                          This is kavitha.k, having account in Indian bank, New military road, Avadi, Chennai. At present i'm in bangalore. I had 12, 000 in my account and i was supposed to take 10, 000. I went to Park Square mall in bangalore and at first i took 5000 rs. from the DBS bank ATM. Again i entered the details for taking 5000 but i din't receive the cash but it has been debited from my account.
                          Whom should i contact now? Please take the necessary actions and help me...

                            This is to inform you that, Mr. Senapati, Branch Manager, Indian Bank, Saheed Nagar Evening Branch is forcing us to submit our company salary statement in their format to reduce their workforce. But we said that we are not using any software for this and it will be very hard to move now. Once we will come up with a software it will be easy to move on your foot prints. But what went wrong with our Management that they are also making us to move like this. Which I don't like and its noway acceptable and its really very bad working with such Management guys.

                              March 26th 2011

                              I have enquired about my account transaction in indian bank (raja street branch coimbatore ) but the staff was very rude and not giving proper information and he told “I can t give information to each one I have lot of work” but this is also their work but they getting angry and he moved to another work I was waiting for minute and told “sir I am asking details regarding my account not related to anything ”then he told the details in very rude manner and when I moved from there he was very angry and speaking very rude the same in front of all.In that branch some of the staffs speaking very rude manner and not giving proper information, the branch does t have help desk also then how to we clarified our doubts and getting information.

                              Kindly take action .

                                I am holding SB A/c on Indian bank Thirumangalam Branch (SB a/c[protected], i have given a letter for getting transaction password on 10th March, 2011.

                                I also received a message on 12th March, stating that " Thank you for subscribing to our Internet banking facility. Contact home branch for collecting the pin after 16/03/11".

                                Then i went to Indian bank on 17th, the official told me to come Saturday, again i went on Saturday they told me the same story. On Monday 21st i went to bank, they told me the same story. I have wasted 2 hours on 3 days. To be cautious, just now i called the bank phone no. 26267268 for confirming the pin no arrived or not, 3 times i called he put me in hold and disconnects it.

                                Due to my 3 times visit, at least that manic should have checked his main bank for my pin no status but his mind is not thinking like, what lazy he is.

                                Why the hell they work in financial center, for not responding to the customers properly and want to hide if any complaints comes. I could not check my accounts too in online as they blocked.

                                Please, can anybody can tell me where the hell my pin no is?

                                I AM HOLDING THE SB A/C ON SHOLINGANALLUR BRANCH, CHENNAI-19. I FORGOT MY ATM CARD PIN NUMBER BEFORE SOME DAYS. SO I WENT TO APPLY FOR A NEW PIN NUMBER OF MY ATM. BUT HE TOLD, DONT GIVE THE ATM PIN NUMBER. CHANGE YOUR A/C TO SOME OTHER BRANCH AND HE COULDNT RESPONSE PROPERLY.
                                WHAT I DO FOR MY PIN NOW?
                                HELP ME ...???PLEASE...??????

                                    I had waited nearly 1.45hrs to get the DD check....... in the Coimbatore indian bank on wednesday...... 16/03/2011.......I went to the bank by 11.30am and i came by 1.20pm..........The officer is being doing her know person job.......... Neglecting others.......... Bad Service........... To a customer

                                      Hi Sir, this is balaji pachiyappan mani, I started my account on dec 2010, still my ATM not able get because they having my ATM Card, i tried to ask with arni branch manager, he didn't response to me and other customers along with abuse bad words. and also branch manager speaking badwords with colleques(co-workers) in local languages, me and many customer disturbing about it, Kindly please take immediate action otherwise he will spoil our bank name.

                                        For the past 1 month,the work days of this branch is changed as
                                        Monday-Saturday with time slot for customers as
                                        Monday-Friday (9am-2pm)
                                        Saturday(9am-12noon)

                                        This is not flexible for customers as our office timings are also similar to this.Previously,this branch was functioning even on Sundays and took off on Monday but the same timings were followed.We the Customers want this branch to function on Sundays and to take off on a weekday.Pls meet the customer requirement.

                                        My name is saravanan. I' m a account holder in Indian bank Tambaram west. Now a days this branch employees not properly answering the customer queries due to the floating customers from many other branches and this bank is always over crowded. so the employees get anger and sometimes give irresponsible answers to the customers, without understanding their situation. Please advice them and make actions to control over crowding. Other wise it affects the bank reputation in future. Please sir. Actually this situation present not only in one branch but all their other branches also. All of the customers mostly get frustrated.
                                        Put proper tyming in a board behind cash counter
                                        Please put office tyming board on wall behind cash or anywhere. Bcoz most of them r rude to customers after 3:30. Really wats d proper tyming for transaction. Asking unnecessary questions to illeterate peoples nd twisting them. Y these staffs this much rude after 3:30. I really suffer much in kandanvilai branch at kanyakumari district.
                                        We have submitted documents for joint account in Indian Bank Ambattur branch and the assistant manager asked us to come back after two days and today she has missed the documents and attachments we have submitted we have visited 3 time to open a joint account and the response and the way they treat customer is very bad
